Had a scrumptious breakfast here. Great service, food well cooked and full of flavour. Lovely ambient Cafe and my coeliac gluten free needs were carefully catered for.
Corn bread is a must!!!
A hidden gem in the heart of Adelaide!
Cafe Troppo is hands down one of the best cafes in Adelaide for anyone seeking great coffee, sustainable food and a relaxed atmosphere. From the moment you step in , you’re greeted with a warm, community-focused vibe that truly reflects the spirit of Adelaide’s vibrant cafe culture.
The coffee here is exceptional- consistently smooth and perfectly brewed using ethically sourced beans. I had a flat white that was the best I’ve tasted in the CBD.
The food menu is a celebration of local and seasonal produce with plenty of vegan , vegetarian and gluten free options.
I had the chilli eggs followed by the vegan carrot cake, both delicious and beautifully presented.
Located on Whitmore Square, Cafe Troppo offers a tranquil escape from the city buzz, with a cosy interior and leafy outdoor seating.
Their commitment to sustainability and low-waste practices really sets them apart.
If you’re looking for a top rated breakfast spot in Adelaide or just want to enjoy locally sourced food and amazing coffee, you can’t go past Cafe Troppo.
Highly recommended!
I popped in here desparate for some quick, easy to eat food on the go and got the wild zataar and veg on gluten free bread.
Any one who needs to avoid gluten understands how most gluten free bread completely sucks, so I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into this and the bread was deliciously crispy, chewy in texture, and wasnt dry!!!
Decent espresso. Atmosphere, very small inside, crowded/was super busy. Pretty expensive
Ordered a toasted burrito. The red chilli sauce was unfortunately quite mild, but the burrito itself was great. Friendly service!
(As a celiac, they do cater to us. However, the gluten-free burrito is very delicate and you might have to finish the meal in a bowl.
We were visiting Adelaide as an early birthday gift for my husband’s 30th, and I wanted to book a special dinner for him—Luigi Delicatessen was a great choice!
The whole evening had a fun, lively vibe with live music that added a special touch. The staff were warm, energetic, and had such a personable nature—it really felt like they enjoyed being there. I was especially impressed by how well they knew the menu off by heart!
As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciated how well they catered to my dietary requirements without any fuss.
The Ciao Amore drink was absolutely delicious—full of flavour and beautifully presented.
All in all, a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend! ☺️
The food was so delicious including the gluten free pasta. It would be great to have a gluten free bread on the menu for coeliacs, as we do love our bread and it is so easily sourced these days with great artisan bakers who specialise in gluten free breads to suit all cuisines .
The food was amazing! The staff were super friendly and best of all the were coeliac friendly!!! I got the jamacian banana pancakes 1000% recommend! So damn good!
I came for breakfast on a weekend and it exceeded my expectations! The menu had a great variety of options, including gluten-free choices. The portions were generous and the coffee was delicious. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.
The service and atmosphere are great, and it's a cafe I'd like to come back to again!
I ordered a chai latte and a gluten-free chocolate cookie.
It was so great👏✨
I want to come again.
We come here regularly for coffee and breakfast. They are always very quick and the eggs on toast are a great price.
They have separate tongs for gluten free cabinet treats for coeliac safety.
loved this place! wonderful and friendly service along with delicious food! great little place in the city to try for brunch/lunch. Also the staff were very conscious about allergies (gluten free etc) which is rare to see these days!
Ordered 1 egg on gluten free bread no butter with bacon and Avocado. Plate was placed in front of me with thin sandwich xut in half. I asked about Avocado. There was a thin smear on I slice of toasted bread. The waitress called it "smashed". The egg and bacon were OK but bread was very hard and parts couldn't be chewed. Tried my best though. Not worth $25 with small soft drink. Not going there ever again..
If your ceoliac and your visiting Adelaide like me, you can have a burger here without a worry. Best gluten free bread I've had in a long time. The bread is so good it makes you worry, if you know what I mean.
Delicious food - Gluten Free 👍👍
Ordered via QR code - not happy when asked to provide my address and a bunch of other info..
Not a lot of people and fairly quiet overall.
Complimentary Water jug (enamel) had rust in the bottom, so we chose not to have any..
First time eating here, so good!!!
My vegan/gluten free toastie was fantastic and my wife enjoyed her bacon on toast! Great coffee with awesome service too!!
Problem of croutons advertised as gluten-free with steak tartare for a celiac. And it was baguette croutons... leading to a painful attack on the immune system for several days.
A great little cafe with ambience and charm. A good selection of cafe style breakfast/ brunch options, and gluten free bread. Nice Coffee, Friendly and attentive staff. Centrally located, and well worth a look
Amazing bottomless lunch with 79$ and 2 hours of spritz and Prosecco flowing!
Very good service and the gluten free pizza was super tasty, highly recommended for good Italian food, it never disappoints!
I really enjoyed my experience here - it’s definitely a meeting place . The atmosphere is quite lively , and it’s situated down a small laneway right near the Central Market .
There is indoor and outdoor seating , and they also sell some condiments and specialised food items , as well as a selection of cookbooks, and some hot chocolate powder from Morks, which is a specialised well known chocolate shop in Melbourne .
Market street cafe also have their own little bakery , which means fresh in house bread .
Their coffee of choice was D’Angelo , which is a local coffee roaster , with a deep chocolaty taste. I had an iced almond latte and enjoyed this brew .
Gluten free options are not particularly wide , but I did have a Reuben sandwich with a twist , ( with kimchi and gochujang mayo ) and was pleasantly surprised by the gluten free bread , which was thick and seeded - delicious.
Worth a visit, especially if you visit the Central Market.
This is the second time I’ve been here. Great coffee and Mexican breakfast foods! The staff is very nice. Would highly recommend. We got the breakfast quesadilla and the smashed avocado on gluten free bread. Very nice. 👍🏼
This is the second time I have been here and is a little gem away from the hustle of the main Rundle area and extensions.
I had time to kill between appointments, so I sat myself down for a remote work and had an eggs Benedict and coffee .
OMG, that gluten-free Benny with salmon is one of the best I have had.
Just like I judge a good Dim Sum restaurant, or as we call it here in Australia "Yum Cha", based on its Sui Mai, I equivalate a cafe with its ability to produce a good Eggs Benedict.
Super friendly staff and a relaxed, cozy environment. Tables outside, which I also noticed some peope on their laptops as well getting a spot of work in.
I Dined at Cozinha for lunch.
And I was blown away!
A lot of kitchens do not understand how to respect food. To cook them in a certain way so they remain fresh for the customer, and to retain the flavour. But the Chef at Cozinha really does. This shows passion and love for the job.
The vibe/atmosphere is unique.
Plenty of smiles, friendly talks, and Brazilian banter.
This is a three dimensional business, and in my opinion will never stop progressing.
There are plenty of gluten free options and vegetarian/vegan options.
A big “Obrigado” from me!
First time visitor today, lovely greeting by the team, ordered the shared brekkie platter for two and one of us is coeliac, so as asked to have the sourdough w eggs on the side. There was some confusion there as the generous share platter arrived w GF eggs on toast on the side - but the team were so gracious in discussing the mix up and replaced the platter.
The Oj and coffee are exceptional.
The attitudes and energy of the team members who served us was exceptional.
The breakfast platter for 2 is delicious, generous and likely enough to feed 3. But we had a great breakfast taking our time to graze and enjoy more coffee as everyone cruised by on Hutt St.
I see why this place is popular and will happily return for big and small bites + sips.
Hi my name is Domenica I went to chanti yesterday and it is my second time with my daughter Francesca. Enjoyed a morning coffee and cake, coffee was and cake was very good. Checked out the lunch menu, decided to return for lunch. We decided on the mushroom soup and smoked salmon, avocado and poached egg on rye, absolutely delicious. We found the service excellent, tables clean and tidy. The menu offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. The prices were very reasonable, will return.
This is one of our favourites for a Friday night dinner. There is always music at the markets playing, the food is authentic, good quality, relatively inexpensive. Don't expect anything fancy, just good food and vibes. Steak and schnitzel can take a while if it's busy, but pasta is normally quick. Gluten free options too. Favourites are the chicken salad sandwich, chicken schnitzel, spaghetti bolognaise with ricotta and basil and if your lucky enough and quick enough on a Saturday the italian rice cake.
Fantastic!
The two people serving and making drinks were an absolute vibe 🫰🏻
My coffee tasted as if it came from heaven and the food… mouth watering goodness.
Thank you so much, we’ll be back!
Oh I should probably add that I’m a sensitive gut gurl, so almond milk and gluten free options were available 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Tranquil atmosphere, owners are Muslim and Filipino. Beef bacon is halal, not sure about the chicken. Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options and a few vegan options as well.
Great Korean cafe resturant. Delightfully tasty food beautifully prepared and presented. Concise but diverse menu with several gluten free & a few Vego options. Prompt and friendly service from staff. Coffee was excellent too. Recommended.
Oh my goodness, let me tell you about my experience at Hello Sarnie Cafe! As someone with gluten intolerance, it can be quite a challenge to find a place that caters to my dietary needs without sacrificing flavor. But this cafe absolutely nailed it!
Their menu boasts an impressive selection of gluten-free options that are both delicious and satisfying. From mouth-watering sandwiches to delectable pastries, I couldn't believe how much variety they had to offer.
And the best part? The quality of the food was absolutely top-notch. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything despite my dietary restrictions.
If you're someone who struggles to find great food choices due to gluten intolerance, I cannot recommend Hello Sarnie Cafe enough. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!
