I’ve been coming here for a while and everything about this place is amazing! I love the aesthetic of the shop, it’s so homey. The food is delicious and everything is gluten-free, vegan, and organic. The employees are so delightful. Everyone should try this place if they have the chance to.
Did Gluten free well. Is is indicated on their menu. Gabriel did a fine job of taking care of us. Thanks Gabriel! There were quite a few choices and the food and drinks were tasty. Portions were huge... So dinner for tomorrow too. They seemed to take the need to be gluten Free very seriously, which I really appreciate. Atmosphere was nice... But casual attire was fine. We WILL go back. The food was VERY good! No wait for us. Service was as expected or better.
The staff is clearly happy at their jobs and therefore treats customers without any attitude; that alone is refreshing enough, but then their drinks are delicious as well. Their bold use of flavor combinations make for adventurous seasonal offerings and each is expertly crafted and served. The gluten free donuts are phenomenal! I could go broke ordering their Ube Maple donuts.
At 1st I was a bit annoyed they web site said they carried Gluten Free bread. My mom and I decided to stay she could find something to eat . She had 1/2 salad and soup and I had the Ruben the food was delicious. The portions were more than enough..
I will be going back there again
What a gem! It was hard to choose an item from their delicious menu. The flatbread, food and green tea were winners today. Fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, even helping me with some tips for homemade gluten-free tortillas. I'm happy to have found this place and in such a beautiful setting. This will be a regular stop for me.
Food was good, reasonably priced menu and nice selection of gluten free options. On the downside we went for lunch on a weekday and tables were dirty and even the paper towel roll (in lieu of napkins) on our table seemed questionable. I wanted to love it but couldn’t get past the feeling of uncleanliness.
We came here because they had a gluten free menu on their website but we're told they were out of the all of those options when we arrived, which was the whole reason we chose OHSO Gilbert. So we ate there, but left hungry, which was unfortunate considering how expensive the bill was. Also, there was something going on with our waitress, she kept bringing the wrong things. I do like the place, but I wish we had a better experience.
My breakfast was a disaster. The over easy egg (only one egg) on my hash was grossly undercooked. The gluten free toast was burnt on one side and untoasted on the other side. When I showed the gross gelatinous egg white dish to my server she politely offered to bring something else. I ordered just a simple cheese omelet, then asked to add mushrooms. She left the gross egg plate sitting in front if me on our small table. She returned with a boring scrambled egg "omelet" (more like a scrambled egg pancake) folded over some sautéed mushrooms like a laying down egg taco. Zero cheese. This time the gluten free toast was not bad. Would be better if it came with some butter. Should've taken pics. Won't be back.
Very busy all the time. This is because the food and environment is unbeatable. Starting with a GLUTEN FREE pumpkin chocolate chip scone just the right amount of sweetness. Moving on to the breakfast burritos, I got the Parker with chicken and mushroom spectacular, we also got the supreme which is DELICIOUS.
Great food, great service, still fast when busy, and extremely sweet. The memes are right about chick-fil-a employees being angels. I asked for no ice in my drink and a gluten free bun and she even checked it to make sure right before handing it to me (other places usually just hand it over incorrect and hurry me along). Been going here for months and it’s always been exceptional.
Went here for brunch since they have gluten-free options. It does get busy. We decided to sit outside (in June) - it was about 11am and with their fans and mister system, it did not feel hot or uncomfortable. We got a protein bowl and avo toast. The protein bowl was amazing. Got their signature coffee. It was good. Good balance of cream and sweetener, for me.
I have celiac disease and I’m super sensitive to gluten cross contamination. Have eaten here several times with no issues. And they have the best chips ever
This bar and restaurant had great music, a good atmosphere and good food.
You're easily going to spend $20 before drinks. Entrees are under 20, but add a side or an app and you're easily over 20 with a tip. I paid about 30 with tip and I just had a lemonade as a drink.
For being a Friday, I expected it to be busier but I was there closer to dinner time, not late-night.
I got the Barbacoa tacos and they were very good, if a little too salty for my liking (and I like salt!) They needed the rice and beans to offset how salty they were. I guess it's in the name. Good, spicy heat but not overbearing.
Everyone else's food looked great as well, especially the carne asada which was a huge portion.
Great allergen markings. Mexican restaurants are known among the GF crowd but they rarely mark their menus despite being naturally gluten free. This place had clear and thorough markings for allergens. Thank you!
The service wasn't noticeably slow, but there were some times that it lagged between drinks and ordering food.
The real highlight was the full bar and live DJ. When we arrived the music was a bit fast and a little too obscure for me, but it mellowed-out in a good way towards the middle of our time there. Having someone dedicated to music is a rare feature and we appreciated it.
This place is bright and has a lot of TVs playing. If you want to go out and still catch the game this would be a good option for you, but it didn't quite seem like a sports bar. This place is hitting a lot of notes that you'd usually see individual places hit (sports bar/restaurant/club/bar) but in so doing it doesn't really specialize. It's kind of inch-deep, mile-wide. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a sports bar, but it's not rowdy. It's a Mexican place and family friendly, but it's modern, pristine, and not cliché. It's a bar with a DJ, but it's relaxed and laid-back enough to just enjoy the atmosphere: not too loud and no dance floor.
Overall I say give it a try. It's also right in the middle of several other dining and drinking options.
I come here every time I need my car serviced. Service and food are always great. Today Sam went above and beyond with her patience and help. My orders can be complicated being dairy and gluten free, but she was on it. She was quick to assist with a miscommunication with the kitchen as well. To be fair, the kitchen did a great job and were unaware of gluten in one of the products.
I thus far have been unsuccessful in finding "amazing" or even "good tasting" gluten-free pancakes in Mesa since January 2024.
In these past 9 months, including today, we still haven't found any restaurant that has acceptable gf pancakes.
I was excited to try this place since someone in the reviews recommended the gf oatmeal pancakes saying they were good, but I have to disagree, and here is why.
The gluten-free oatmeal pancake was huge, which is a pro ( considering most places, serve you 1 or 2 very small ones).
The first bite was so disappointing. They were lacking in so many ways, but the two biggest issues were taste and texture. Think of a ladle of cooked oatmeal thrown on a hot greasy griddle cooked until browned.
After cutting a piece off, I noticed how wet or overly moist they were. The center was sticky and wet. The taste was like eating a scoop of plain, regular cooked oatmeal with a little crunch from the parts that were browned. No taste other than oatmeal and grease.
I really tried to like them. I tried the syrup, then the blueberry compote, and lastly, the fresh berries. However, nothing helped to improve the taste of the pancake to make it acceptable.
The server, Rustina, was brilliant. So pleasant and courteous. Timely, and she was so delightful.
She was wonderful when I let her know that I did not like the pancake. She asked what I'd like to try instead, and I ordered the gluten-free avacado toast.
Now, this was a completely different experience! This was delightful on the taste buds. The gluten-free avacado qtoast had a flavorful, helping of avacado on the toast with greens and a slice of lemon.
It was so fresh and tasty.
I 100% recommend the gluten-free avacado toast, but I suggest avoiding the oatmeal pancakes at all cost if you have taste buds or issues with texture.
As a gluten-free, intolerant individual, all restaurants should have gluten-free options that taste just as good as regular food. If they offer gluten-free items, they should make sure they are just as enjoyable.
Always a favorite lunch spot for me. I've moved away from Arizona, but used to visit this place very frequently. Every time I'm in town, I go to Someburros just about every day on my visit. Thankful that there are Gluten Friendly dining options. Their refried beans are my favorite item!!
Loved the food and coffee here. Staff was extremely friendly and fast. Can't wait to go back and try more food.
Would like to see more gluten free options for my friend. Also, the serving size of the crepe was a bit small for the price but it was delicious.
My family and I love the freshness and quality this amazing cafe gives! The customer service is always outstanding as well. The best part is they’re 100% gluten free! We love Miss Marcy she’s the best:)
Very unprofessional. Girl who answered the phone couldn’t answer any questions. Then she put me on hold to check but didn’t actually put me on hold and was telling someone that she didn’t want to do it. It’s a gluten free order. Then I think she realized she hadn’t put me on hold and hung up on me. If you can’t properly train employees then don’t pretend to accommodate dietary restrictions.
I found out that I have an intolerance to gluten, so I saw that Chick-fil-A had gluten free options; although not many. I went with the grilled chicken nuggets. I told the staff I was allergic to gluten and they took a few minutes extra to make my meal. The staff was very happy and friendly and that was great to see.
Mesquite is so fresh and tasty. The steak quesadilla is superb. My wife just loves the steak street tacos with corn shells (gluten free). The burritos are just out of this world as well steak packed bowl. We also tried their breakfast burritos in the morning and they don’t disappoint. They actually offer more if you look at their online menu. They don’t list everything on their drive- thru menu (bean and cheese burrito). Highly recommend Mesquite, it is pricey but the food is fresh and excellent
This is a cute store. The Acai bowls were yummy! I chose the Volcano Bowl and added peanut butter. The granola comes in a gluten-free option. For my appetite, the small option was delicious and filling. The young girl who attended us was friendly, courteous, and efficient. My daughter brought me there as a treat since I had never been there. When she comes back into town, we plan on definitely going back!
Was excited to try this new place and it did not disappoint. The staff was very nice and professional, the drinks and brunch items were amazing (This is a scratch kitchen.) We took home some pastries as well and they were equally delicious. This is easily a highlight meal of any week. Tons of Gluten free options on the brunch menu was a hit with my lady.
