Special gluten-free menu, lots of options, including dessert, gluten-free dishes are specially marked, great staff, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended!
A hidden gem in Canggu!
Oka’s Bakery is a cozy little spot that truly surprised me — everything from the fresh bakes to the calm ambiance was on point. Their croissants and sourdough are some of the best I’ve had in Bali, and I really appreciated the variety of vegan and gluten-free options. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was excellent too. Great for breakfast, a light bite, or even to grab pastries to go. Definitely coming back!
I absolutely love coming here with my bf it’s our go-to Italian restaurant! Their pasta arrabbiata and pomodoro are amazing, full of flavor and the perfect amount of spice. I really appreciate that they offer gluten-free pasta options, which makes it so much easier to enjoy without worries. The ambience is cozy especially with movies playing on screen it creates such relaxing vibe. Plus, the staff are all super friendly and attentive, which always makes our visits feel special. Highly recommend!

This place is sent me to the hospital! They say they are celiac safe with a separate cooking area - I got so sick I had to get wheelchairs to the hospital- and apparently I’m not the first place this restaurant has sent to the hospital for gluten cross contamination. Celiacs DO NOT EAT HERE! They say that they are aware of cross contamination and they are NOT SAFE.
AVOID if you are gluten free or have a wheat allergy like I do!! Although the food was listed as GF on the menu and was nice it definitely is not allergy friendly. I have an anaphylactic reaction to anything containing wheat. Comes on about half an hour after eating anything that contains wheat/gluten. We have breakfast here and great coffee.
By the time I walked back to our villa I was having a reaction! Would not recommend this place if you are GF or suffer from a wheat allergy.
An oasis in Uluwatu. Fresh food with clean ingredients but great flavor, and perfect for people who are gluten free. Also a beautiful and great space to relax in. Shout out to Eka for the great service!
Honestly, I was expecting something much better. Aesthetically, the place looks incredible and attracts a lot of customers. However, the prices are extremely high and the food is nothing special. Pizzas are more expensive than in Italy or any other country, and the gluten-free pizzas are just a fajita with tomato sauce, which costs over €22… not including the tax, which is normal but really not worth it.
Absolutely pumping on a Friday morning. Best option with the gluten free bread tasting excellent. We had shakshuka and the chill bae. Best breakfast in Uluwatu, paired with coffees either the home made almond milk which was fantastic. Would recommend. Great value for money as well, two coffees, juice and two breakfast for less than 40 AUD.
Wow. They were able to accommodate the vegans and meat eater at our table. We also requested a gluten free and dairy free pizza and it was the best I’ve never had. Their matcha latte was top notch, serving it with no sugar and simple syrup on the side. My husband ordered the coconut and I swear he could go swimming in the vat of coconut water he was served. Mother in law got the red dragon juice and loved it. The restaurant was clean and well kept even being open to the street. The sink was on the outside of the restrooms which was nice for a quick hand wash before lunch.
Excellent place for people with gluten intolerance. They have a wide variety of pizzas with excellent seasoning. The staff is also very attentive and helpful.
One of my favourite places IN THE WORLD!! the fresh salad choices for the lunch bowls!! The coconut and chocolate soft serve! The smoothie bowls and breakfast choices!! The sweets cabinet !! Such delicious gluten free plant based food!! Such high vibe quality food!! Beautiful decor! Comfortable day beds! Great location and plenty of helpful staff!! A must visit in Bali!! And the beautiful yoga Shala across the road! SO HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!💜
I found this place on my gluten free app. They do have quite a bit of options, but most have dairy (also can't have). The wait was supposed to be 25 min and ended up being an hour. It's very noisy there too. I was on the verge of leaving when they called my name. I wish I had just left. After all of that wait they no longer had what I wanted and had to order something else. It was the worst Gnocci I've ever had. It was undercooked and mushy with no spices or flavor except plain tomato sauce. I wish I had not eaten it, but at that point I was just hungry. I was violently ill a few hours later. Really wish I hadn't wasted my time or money.
As someone who is on a gluten free diet, this place is PERFECT! They have gluten free sourdoughs and gluten free burger buns. Vegan friendly as well with their homemade almond milk. Food was AMAZING! The fries that came with my meal was hands down one of the best fried I've had. To top it off, their staff Nana was super nice and made sure everything was okay with our meal and experienxe. All in all will definitely come back ❤️
Cute place nicely decorated
The service was really nice
There are relatively many gluten-free options 🌾
The dishes were delicious, especially the pancakes.
But the problem with the place is that the prices are very, very expensive, Asai Bull at 140 thousand, even compared to Tsango it is expensive...
Food was delicious, could not have been better! Everyone was so kind and our waiter, Jojo was so accommodating to my friends gluten allergy. 11/10 reccomend.

Touching! A super positive experience.
For a celiac in Indonesia, where often even a simple plate of rice can hide sauces full of flour and contamination, this restaurant was a real revelation.
It made me rediscover the pleasure of food.
I will start by saying that I almost never choose Italian cuisine when I travel abroad, but this exception was surprising.
Forget the stereotypes of the "Italian restaurant abroad": here there is an alternative concept, quality dishes with fresh pasta, exquisite meat and even homemade bread.
Celiacs can smile:
• Gluten-free pizza with an excellent dough based on selected flours
• Excellent quality gluten-free pasta, with a lot of choice
• Homemade gluten-free bread, prepared directly by chef Enrico
Even the coffee is well beyond the standards... Italian!
And then there is Enrico, the chef and owner: kind, welcoming and passionate. He accompanied us in choosing the dishes and made us taste his extraordinary gluten-free bread.
Highly recommended. An unforgettable restaurant.
So delicious! Everything was so good. Gluten free pizza was tasty, the charred broccoli, and the pazooki-type cookie & ice cream dessert was incredible. Maya is the best server. Thank you for another incredible meal! I will be back
Very good pizza always. Nice gluten free options that barely taste different. Been a few times already and will come back again. Quality food and nice atmosphere.
I was really excited to go to this cafe as it has been highly recommended but after showing one of the servers my gluten free celiac dining card in Indonesian they said that they don't have separate pans and prepare it all on a flat top grill so it isn't safe for people with celiac disease. I was so sad.
the place is really very pretty and pleasant to cut away a little from the hubbub of the city
the prices are a little higher than elsewhere but the quality of the food is worth it
the butter chicken was incredibly creamy and full of flavor
the juices are very good too
you can change to gluten-free options without problem
I liked the cookie a little less but it’s a question of taste :)
Great food. Great products. Very friendly staff.
The sushi rolls are awesone. The burger temphe is very tasty. The gluten bread is also very good.
Tiramisu and the cheesecake very good.
Vegan and gluten free paradise place in kuta lombok. Congrats.
I recommend! Nice service and nice environment, but especially delicious coffee and breakfast. Gluten-free menu - smoothie bowl, fruit salad or salty breakfasr with gluten free bread. I love red velvet coffee!
I tried their gluten free Margherita pizza. The taste was good and I didn’t face any reactions after it. But I’m not sure if it was contamination free. Delivery was quick and taste was good.
Substainable healthy grocery with endless vegan and gluten free options. Nice selection of local products for health and beauty as well as bakery and full menu. Perfect stop to stock up on snacks and tea for my time in Bali.
AMAZING!! So great for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. We had a halloumi bowl, sweet potato wedges and chai lattes, everything was 10/10 delicious, service was lovely, setting is beautiful and shady out of the heat, and it was also reasonably priced. I highly recommend Shady Shack, it’s behind the main road but so worth going the extra few steps or jumping on a scooter to find 👏🏼 Thank you! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I am celiac and they do not have gluten-free bread, which I can understand, but what is incomprehensible is that you bring your bread so that they can make you toast and in addition to saving them bread, they charge you extra for saying that you are bringing food from outside. If they had gluten-free bread I wouldn't have to bring anything... a shame but the management of this place would have to use their heads when putting policies like these...
Gluten free bun had similar composition to a rock. There's so many good gluten free options in Bali, not sure why they use that gross bun. Waste of money. Would definitely be better off ordering no bun. It really was, well, wacko.
The burger patty itself was okay, but nothing special.
We loved everything we ate (waffles, falafel durum, salad). The place is charming, and the food quality is undeniably high.
Healthy food with options for vegans, vegetarians, and those with celiac disease.
We love the shop but the service was a little lacking here when we went for dinner and they were out of a few things we wanted. It was also a little worrying that some of the menu was marked GF but then we were told those things weren’t GF. Our friend who is a celiac was a little confused. The food is also not the best you can get (local).
