The restaurant offers a pleasingly wide range of gluten-free options, which, according to the staff, are also suitable for people with celiac disease – a clear plus for those affected and one of the few positive experiences of the evening.
Apart from that, the visit was unfortunately disappointing. The premium entrecôte we ordered was of inferior quality: served already in strips, the meat consisted mostly of cartilage and tendons. The desired degree of doneness was clearly missed on the first attempt, and even after re-cooking, the meat was completely cooked and dry. Although our complaint was acknowledged by the staff, we were more or less ignored thereafter – no apology, no follow-up questions, no concessions whatsoever. Overall, the staff seemed very stressed and overwhelmed during the summer season anyway.
The fish dish was no real compensation either – although it was properly cooked, it was completely tasteless. The vegetables served with both main courses were cold and seemed unpleasantly placed on the plate.
The sangria bianco turned out to be a weak mix, reminiscent of dry rosé wine with mineral water – at an inflated price.
Overall, a disappointing experience: The price paid was not met with any quality or service. Only the gluten-free options stood out positively – the rest, unfortunately, left much to be desired.
A very charming restaurant in the center of La Laguna, with excellent service and a varied menu, almost all gluten-free and suitable for celiacs, with no cross-contamination.
They have gluten-free bread and beer, and a dessert menu that's breathtaking.
The croquettes were delicious, with original fillings, and super creamy and crunchy.
All the dishes were spectacular, but that Nutella brownie with coconut ice cream... mmmm!!!!
We ordered:
Crispy chicken salad (almond-breaded chicken, apple, walnuts, and yogurt sauce)
Wild shrimp salad (avocado, toasted seeds, and a hazelnut and bacon dressing)
Chicken, cod, and spinach croquettes with pumpkin, raisins, and pine nuts
Slow-cooked octopus with lentil vinaigrette, sweet potato puree, and passion fruit sauce
Angus beef sirloin steak
Iberian secret with French fries, Padrón peppers, and palm honey
Everything was delicious. I hope we have the chance to come back.
Delicious gluten free quiches, cakes and lunch options. Great value for money too. Loved it so much I brought all my friends there the day after I found it on a walk!
My wife and I prefer to eat gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan food and we travel internationally frequently. It is very difficult to find restaurants that meet both criteria while delivering creative and delicious food. Inner You cafe was exceptional. We had the beet root falafel wrap and pesto quinoa bowl with homemade cashew mozzarella cheese--both were great! We enjoyed our meal so much that we had dessert--raw lemon cheesecake and the chocolate tart--wow! It is obvious that the chef creates these foods with care--being mindful of presenting nutritional food that also looks beautiful.
In a privileged environment, in the center of Breña Alta, we find this restaurant. With a calm atmosphere, the restaurant offers a small menu with raw materials from km0 that is completed with off-menu suggestions. The food is gluten and lactose free.
We ordered the salmon salad, the amberjack ceviche, and an entrecôte with mango sauce. All very good, to repeat.
As for the price, all that plus 4 rods €65 is not cheap, but you have to pay for the quality of the products.
As for the service, it could be improved, but the waiter is quite friendly.
We will return without a doubt
I recently dined at Cofradía Restaurante Las Aguas in San Juan de la Rambla and was thoroughly impressed. The fresh fish I ordered was cooked to perfection, highlighting the chef’s expertise in seafood preparation. The tomato salad was both abundant and flavorful, and the croquettes were delightful. The restaurant offers a variety of gluten-free options, catering well to those with dietary restrictions. The service was attentive and professional, complementing the meal wonderfully. The restaurant’s ambiance, with its charming decor and scenic views, provided a memorable dining experience. While some dishes are on the pricier side, the quality and experience justify the cost. I highly recommend Cofradía Restaurante Las Aguas to anyone seeking exceptional seafood in a picturesque setting.
The owners were super friendly and attentive, they treated us wonderfully, we tried 6 dishes of the food and they were all delicious, the desserts were equally delicious.
For celiac people they have it completely under control, I totally recommend it.
Gluten free!!!!!
Really nice wee cafe that does your usual brits abroad fare from full English to Sunday roasts. Particularly nice that they did gluten free options for the breads which meant we went back a few times. Really nice food with some good service.
This restaurant is a revelation! Everything was perfect, the food, the ambience and the service. I was a bit skeptical, I'm not that familiar with vegan. But what the boys conjure up from the small kitchen is incredible. My wife can't eat gluten because of celiac disease, so the choice is usually very limited. Everything in this restaurant was gluten-free except for the tiramisu. I can fully recommend this restaurant, whether for vegans or just because.
Stumbled across this cafe this morning and had the most delicious vegetarian breakfast. The cafe has great views in a terrace overlooking the sea. Staff were friendly, and the food was exactly what I had been looking for. Great choice of healthy juices and smoothies, and appreciated that most dishes could also be made gluten free. Would highly recommend.
Very tourist restaurant, good food and fast service. They have gluten-free options and a varied menu. The animation is lively. We had an espresso and it surprised us, the best one we've had here in Tenerife. For the rest, if you are in the area and want to eat quickly, it's more than fine
We went without a reservation for dinner on a Sunday and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! They have gluten-free pasta and everything we ordered was delicious.
The staff was friendly and very pleasant. I'm celiac and could eat gluten-free without any problems.
Highly recommended for lunch, the food is delicious.
We went to eat with a reservation (because it gets busy), and overall very good. The food was very good in general, we loved the Canarian tetita and the wine too. We didn't order the rabbit but it was cute.
. The service, some people were very good and others not so good, I asked them if they had gluten-free bread and I'm still waiting for them to tell me if they had it or not; The sirloin also came out cold.
In short, recommended although it could be improved.
Restaurant for locals. Very good quality of food, fast well done and great selection. The service is smiling and kind, you can communicate in English very well here. The menu is also in English.
Pizza without gluten!!! We really enjoyed it here. ❤️🌸 great!!
The food was very good, we ordered a homemade pizza, which I recommend 100%, it was delicious, my partner ordered a gluten-free pasta with four cheese sauce, and everything was also very good, the desserts were another success, the tres leches cake and the chocolate mousse, but the owner's detail was the best he could do, he went to the supermarket to buy almond milk so we could have coffee, I have never seen that before, I am left with the excellent staff treatment , the food and above all very good price.
Very pleasant restaurant both for the views and for the treatment of the employees.
The waitress explained to us all the dishes on the menu and those that could be made gluten-free. Almost the entire menu (except 3-4 dishes) is suitable for celiacs.
The food is very delicious and careful. A recommendable place!
Quite a discovery!
I ordered a bean burger with a gluten free bun - it came with fries and onion rings. All of it tasted amazing. The chef was very cautious with making me the bean pattie for the burger cause I ordered the gluten-free bun as some ingredients in the pattie contained gluten. I really appreciate the caution - till I clarified it was more a preference than an allergy and then I was served :).
There was a live band playing 70s-80s music that made it's the perfect place to have lunch after a long bus ride.
Would recommend the hotel for everything - food, service, atmosphere
Impeccable service!!
A day like last night, where customers, in addition to coming to watch football, were looking for a place where they treat you well, give you good service and good food.
The place was very successful!!!
Congratulate the staff!!
For their patience with so many clients, offering their professionalism, having the different rooms complete, families, friends, couples, etc...
They treated us very well, offering their best smile until late into the night.
Extensive menu with a wide variety of products, also GLUTEN FREE.
We arrived early, in time to have a snack "we tasted their pastries and chocolate" it was delicious.
During the game we had soft drinks and beers, when the game ended we decided to have dinner and try their delicious typical dishes Papas locas, special dishes and crepes.
To finish we had a few drinks.
The food was very good, we asked for some changes for the filling of the crepes and we had no problems, the main thing for them was to serve us and ensure that we enjoyed dinner.
Very affordable prices.
Access for people with reduced mobility.
Free parking spaces for cars and motorcycles, also parking spaces for special vehicles.
Very clean place
The best Italian restaurant in the Canary Islands!
After visiting all the islands, I can finally say that I have found a true corner of Italy. Here you can breathe authenticity in every dish: the fresh pasta is homemade, cooked to perfection and seasoned according to traditional recipes that taste like home. The pizza, cooked in a wood oven, is simply extraordinary: light dough, quality ingredients and balanced flavors. It fills you up without weighing you down, it is very light and super digestible.
They use very fresh vegetables from their garden, which make every dish even more genuine and tasty.
In addition, the staff is very attentive to food intolerances and also offers excellent gluten-free options, such as pizza.
The service is friendly, the atmosphere warm and welcoming: everything contributes to a truly unique culinary experience.
If you are here in La Palma and want to taste real Italian cuisine, this is the right place. Highly recommended!
P.S.: The pizza with rocket only is my wife's choice, it's not on the menu... but they prepared it for her anyway with great kindness!
When visiting Parque del Drago, it would be a sin not to visit this cafe. The atmosphere is like something out of a fairy tale, very nice service and the highest quality food. Here you can taste local wines and goat cheeses, homemade ice cream, and local baked goods (including gluten-free ones).
The quality of the food is very good. Although at 10 euros for a tomato, you'd expect a little more cheese than just 20 grams. Overall, the portions are small, although considering the prices, they look like main courses. But I'm more about quality than quantity.
In the photos, you can see a main course of cod with onions and a sweet potato, another main course of octopus with a sweet potato, a salad (not a starter), and a tomato with fresh cheese (which is actually just 20 grams of cheese, no more). But, as I said, I'm more about quality than quantity, so it's fine.
Still, with all this plus dessert for two, I left a little hungry (and I don't eat much, believe me!).
The apple dessert was spectacular. There's no photo because it disappeared before I could take it! Hahaha.
The waitress went a bit overboard. They're constantly talking about their leukemia and judging you if you try to order a gluten-free dessert (without knowing why you're doing it). It's a bit lacking in professionalism for such a posh place.
I ate grilled chicken, my husband had entrecote, we both thought it was very good! Unfortunately they didn't have gluten-free bread this day! And the sauce was not gluten-free 🥴!
The food is good and reasonably priced. They have gluten-free options. For a couple, I recommend two tapas and a meat main course if you want a light meal. The service is decent. It's a good option if you're visiting the San Antonio volcano and want to eat nearby, but it's not worth driving there just to eat there. I recommend booking in advance. On the downside, it takes a long time to bring the food; in our case, we were there for two hours. This would have been better if you were comfortable in the restaurant, but it doesn't have air conditioning, and it's very hot in summer, so the two hours to eat three bites seemed very long. I would recommend at least adding some additional fans (there is a small ceiling fan, but it doesn't do much).
Apparently the founder is not even in the kitchen anymore, it is fast food level at a gas station where buses stop, little elaboration of the dishes, omelette with eggs and things like that. Of course, very good care for celiacs and control of allergens such as gluten and lactose (if your palate is not very demanding). Fast and cheap service, but nothing remains of the "family restaurant" that it once apparently was. They told us and we didn't pay attention, don't let the same thing happen to you!
Simply exquisite food. We loved it so much that on our last day in La Palma, we changed our route so we could go back. The staff was delightful. Both the grilled meat and the goat stew were spectacular... and what can we say about the gofio... delicious!
If you let them know a day in advance, they'll prepare the gofio for you if you have gluten! 😌
The best restaurant on the island
Very good and highly recommended. Fresh fish and very pleasant service. Also recommended for gluten-free eating, they put a lot of care and attention into it.

Restaurante La Farola Del Mar
Paseo Marítimo Playa Fañabé, local 201-202, Costa Adeje, Spain
Highly recommended! Delicious food! And the location is stunning with luxurious views, but without a doubt the highlight is the blonde waitress (I forget her name) who is very, very friendly! She explained everything in detail and always had a smile! We went with a girl who is celiac, and the waitress constantly explained everything that each dish included and made sure it was gluten-free! The price is a bit pricey, though. I think they could lower the prices on some things a bit... totally recommended.
