WAY too expensive. Brioche, eclair, and iced coffee were good, but there’s no way to justify the price, especially after eating at many gluten-free restaurants around NYC.

Good gluten-free drink selection. Overpriced food for its middling quality, but it’s still nice to have a very gluten-safe option. This used to be Capitol Hill Cider—they appear to have rebranded to seem more upscale, but now it feels like they’re misrepresenting themselves as a better restaurant than they are. Service is meandering, slow, and has featured mistakes on my visits. Charcuterie appears store-bought and thoughtless. Downstairs is better, because there’s less of an attempt to seem like a fancy restaurant—they haven’t even covered up all the Capitol Hill Cider signage effectively. But don’t expect service at all down there; just go to the bar to make orders and then hang out.

The service - we waited for 15 minutes to give our order, and then it took about another 45 minutes to get our order. And they never got us the mimosa even though she said it was coming both times we asked. I would be more understanding if it was really busy, but it just wasn't, and we saw other tables come after us, order get their food and leave by the time we were getting our food. Our waiter never checked on us and didn't apologize for the wait either. The food - We had an omlette and pancakes, the omlette was good but not particularly noteworthy, and perhaps a bit overcooked. The ricotta pancakes and toast being gluten-free were interesting and delicious.

Overall really solid pizzeria type place with a great gluten free menu. I enjoy visiting a few times a year and recommend to visitors. Their house wines (rosé especially) are of great value and quality!

Food is delicious! Everything is gluten free, so wonderful to go to a restaurant and not have to worry about being glutened. My family had a both breakfast and lunch items. The fish fry, buffalo chicken tenders are delicious. The pancakes and biscuits and gravy are top notch.
