First time going, and I did not make a reservation. We were able to snag two seats at the bar after about 30 minutes. Definitely recommend making a reservation, if you can. The service was great! The server was very friendly. The gluten-free pancakes were awesome! I got the half size, which was definitely enough food.
An incredible dining experience. Super high quality food and great atmosphere. We sat at the chefs counter and our server, Ryan, was fantastic - both attentive and kind. Incredibly accommodating to food allergies, we had a lot of options and a great gluten free meal.

Chartreuse was an excellent dining experience. I ate with a large work group, and everything was spectacular. From the entrees to the salads and desserts, everything was delicious with unique options and good flavors. It was also able to accommodate celiac gluten free and vegan options for our groups. I highly recommend their Mocktails and homemade cola.
Ottava Via in Detroit’s Corktown is a cozy Italian spot with a rustic vibe and friendly staff. The brick oven pizzas are a hit—especially the Funghi and Margherita—and the garlic shrimp appetizer is a must-try. They offer gluten-free pasta options at no extra charge, which is a nice touch. The outdoor patio with bocce ball courts and fire pits adds a fun twist. Service is generally great, though it can get busy on weekends, so plan ahead. Overall, a solid choice for a relaxed night out.

The food was great. We went there for Sunday brunch and it is hard to talk since it was very noisy. The server was very kind and tell us which ones are gluten free.
I have celiac so finding a place that understands how to prepare GF foods is important. They were well educated, had several options, and everyone was so kind!
We had breakfast and coffee and it was delicious. Will definitely return again when in the area!
Thank you for doing gluten free right so that patrons can trust your food!
The staff is amazing, the bar is good. The food selection includes gluten free and is well rounded. However, the food can be hit or miss depending on who is working the kitchen. Tonight was a miss. Other nights are great!
Gluten Free & Handicap Accessible Review:
I've been to Leila multiple times & have always been very satisfied.
Food: The food quality and preparation is exceptional. The menu is marked with gluten free indicators, making it easy for myself (and the kitchen) to order. I have not ordered one item I haven't been happy with- definitely recommend sampling multiple dishes off the mezze menu.
Service: The service has been consistently good during my multiple visits. This last visit, I ate with a friend who utilizes a wheelchair for their mobility. I notified the restaurant when booking my reservation that we would need a handicap accessible table. Upon being taken to our table close to the doors, we noticed they already had the fourth chair of our table removed to make room for the wheelchair. We eat out all over metro Detroit and this is the first time the table has been properly prepared with the chair removed to make room for the wheelchair. Huge thank you to the team there for thinking ahead & making the seating experience seamless just by providing one simple accommodation. It may have seemed liked a small measure to the staff, but it was huge to our group. We will definitely be back!
Atmosphere was amazing, such a cool place. Unfortunately my filet was WAY overcooked, shells in the lobster bisque, and cocktails were all sickly sweet. Still a good experience but for such an amazing location I would hope for a better dining experience. Also some confusion about gluten free options which left me nervous as someone with Celiac but luckily I ate the filet, bisque, and Panna Cotta and was fine after.

Love the Lager House, Sam is an awesome bartender and the food selection is uniquely extensive for the area. I highly recommend the crispy tofu! They also have gluten free and vegan options
Their menu highlights fresh & in season items that are locally sourced (huge win in my book), and they have something for all of my friends with various dietary considerations. Gluten free? Lactose intolerant? Vegan? Halal? They'll feed you something awesome. I have brought friends here again and again simply because 1) I know they're not going to get this same experience anywhere else 2) I know they'll love the food 3) it gives me an excuse to come back
The chef & staff really makes you feel like you're at their home and you're an esteemed guest! Learn about Moroccan tea service with a tall pour, try a fun new seasonal drink or a non-alcoholic wine, or attend one of the many celebratory nights hosted at Saffron.
As a long time guest, I will continue to frequent this place for the incredible flavors & the welcoming service. This restaurant has truly changed my perspective on learning about cuisine, experiencing new flavors, & being part of a community.
Our family was in town for the week from AZ helping our daughter move in nearby. Both she & her dad are celiac so we tried the GF pizza. They both agreed it was one of the best they ever had. So good they double checked that they got the GF :) We went back again before leaving for the airport. Great food & staff both times!
My wife and I have been here several times and it never disappoints! The Chopped Salad and Roasted Chicken are amazing and having gluten free options is a must for us! Ynocencio served us drinks this last time. His drinks, presentation, and humor were all on point! We can’t wait to go back!
Very safe for celiacs needing to eat gluten free. Great food we will be back. A mix of Cuban/Latin American. If you go before a 7pm Redwings game, go at 5pm to get a seat. We loved the chicken and beef Fritas. GF eater had chicken verde bowl. Next time, we’ll order the mayo on the side for the sandwiches, they add a lot and it gets messy. Also, we loved the plantains, but not the loaded ones, because the beans are really spicy. Large groups consider getting the bucket of beers or the fishbowl cocktails because it packs up before games or events and it is hard to get the second drink.

i have celiacs and they had some gluten free options and the waitress seemed knowledgeable. they don’t have a dedicated fryer but they have bread and pasta that’s gluten free. I got the mac and cheese and it was delicious!
The food was absolutely excellent. The service was absolutely excellent. The view was absolutely excellent. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars in every single category is that I did mention I have a gluten allergy, and there was one small gluten item that was missed in the dessert that I ordered. Otherwise, the staff was very proactive and swapped out gluten-free options without my direction throughout the meal. And once again, all the food was wonderful.
Absolute fantastic experience. Patrick our server was extraordinary. The salad to main dish to dessert. Excellent and on par and exceeded our expectations even with gluten allergy. Thank you. Everything was thoughtful, wine selection was wonderful, desserts….. amazing. I would put the visit here as one of my top ten food experiences. We will be back when in Detroit.
Okay,
Food 10/10. I'm so impressed. Everything was a hit. Not one single complaint about the food. The mediterranean salad was so fresh and crisp. All pastas were delicious, specifically the baked lasagna. Frito (calamari) is gluten free which was a huge plus. SO flavorful and well prepared.
Service was excellent from start to finish. Our servers were attentive and took very good care of us. They had great recommendations and made sure we had clean silverware and plates in between every dish which I personally loved.
Restaurant overall is a vibe, great music and a lovely spot to go out. Definitely a GREAT addition to Detroit. Good job Adelina
Super cute and peaceful atmosphere. The service was great. My gluten-free sandwich was delicious. I just ran here on lunch, but I plan to bring my husband and kiddo soon.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I appreciate the attention to detail. Thank you for providing a safe gluten free meal-the pasta was spectacular and thank you for avoiding cross-contamination by using separate water and colander.
Phenomenal experience. Beautiful scenery, super clean, best waitstaff, knowledgeable chefs that accommodated gluten free allergy so well. 5th time here and still the best restaurant with consistency
(At least for lunches,) dress code is not strictly enforced so you can sit at the bar or "off to the side" if you dressed casually
The menu shows which items are gluten free
I’ve gotten crepes many times from The French Cow and I’ve NEVER been disappointed! The traditional process is fascinating to watch. The various crepes that they offer are phenomenal, including gluten free!!!! I can’t say enough positive things about this business because you can feel and see that they genuinely love what they do. Honorable mention for Carly. She always makes my crepes with such love. She’s also a rockstar when things get super busy. MVP!! My family and I will always be returning customers.
I went to Parc with my sister for her birthday and the filet was delicious. Nadiyah was the best server 🙌 She knew the menu like the back of her hand and helped accommodate for my gluten allergy—so, so helpful!
We stopped here before heading to a Detroit Opera Theatre event and were so glad we did. The menu had so many great selections, and I sure appreciated the gluten free choices and availability of GF buns for burgers and sandwiches. I had the JL Hudson maurice salad and their take on it was absolutely THE BEST I've ever had. Kudos to the chef for giving me a huge reason to come back soon! My niece had the french dip sandwich with their special fries and gave it thumbs up too. Service was friendly and efficient. So glad we stopped at Detroit Beer and look forward to a return visit asap.
Great breakfast food at decent prices. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and portions we're just right. Lots of healthy options like gluten free, nut free, vegan, and vegetarian. Small seating area so it might be a little wait if it's busy.
Portions are generous, and there are options for various dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. Overall, it's a solid choice for a quick and satisfying Mexican-inspired meal.
We had an amazing dinner. The food is consistently high quality. The service can be a bit slow sometimes but the servers are knowledgeable, friendly and always very accommodating with dietary restrictions. Our server this time was incredible and made really great food and drink recommendations. My partner has celiac’s and we’ve never had any issues, they’re always very careful to talk to the kitchen. Highly recommend the sea bass and lamb shank. Beautiful decor and ambiance.
If the name wasn’t good enough, they have the best almond orange tea and a wonderful array of vegan and gluten free lunch options. I had the BBQ jackfruit sandwich on gluten free bread and it was delicious. The staff are always helpful and friendly. It’s a quiet subterranean tea den where I love to station up and get some work done.

My new favorite breakfast spot! I’ve been coming here for years, but they upgraded their restaurant and the ambiance is hard to beat now. I love this place so very much! The service is welcoming, friendly and always helpful and the breakfast and coffee are delicious and all for about $5.00! It’s everything a neighborhood needs, a vibrant supermarket and restaurant all in one. They even accommodate to all dietary needs offering gluten free and vegan options to boot!
Shiv was very helpful. Totally addicted to the flavors & sauces. Consistently amazing every time. You will not be disappointed. The gluten free tandoori chicken rice bowl is our go to order.
The restaurant has a great vibe, with a beautiful outdoor patio. The service was also top-notch, and the staff was very accommodating, especially when it came to my gluten-free needs.
While the restaurant doesn't have a dedicated gluten-free menu, the chef was able to make some adjustments to some of the dishes to make them gluten-free. I had a burger without the bun and the kale salad, and both were delicious. However, I would have liked to see more solid gluten-free options on the menu, especially given that the restaurant boasts many healthy fares.
Overall, I had a great experience at Eatóri, and I would definitely recommend it to others. As someone that has celiac disease, however, I would encourage the restaurant to add more gluten-free options to their menu in the future!
Came here with my family (group of 7) while visiting from Chicago to celebrate Christmas. We all had the chefs tasting menu, which was coursed and timed perfectly for a nice break between courses- nothing was rushed, a really nice experience. Cocktails were fantastic too! All in, this was probably my favorite restaurant experience of the year. This place competes with some of the best!
Most memorable were the baked scallop, boeuf tartare, roasted carrot salad with foie gras, and smoked salmon deviled eggs.
Go for the food, ambience, and friendly service. Dessert was good, but didn’t compare to the rest of the meal. We had the flourless chocolate cake. That said, anything more elaborate probably would have been too rich and heavy following an already amazing meal!
I’d like to thank the team for going above and beyond with accommodating my sister’s gluten allergy, bringing amazing substitutes or even altering dishes to ensure all of us had a memorable experience.
Freezing cold when we first sat down but warmed up a little by the time we finished eating. According to my family the gluten free pizza was pretty good. The regular pizza was ok. If you love a butter crust, then this is the place for you. Regular pizza was loaded with butter. A little is ok, way too much for my liking. And the knives don't cut worth anything.
This place makes yummy craft cocktails and has a very unique and hip location. We really liked it but wish they had an
expanded menu. We were dining with someone gluten-free and there was not many choices.
It was really nice to have a quick window option for breakfast that wasn’t a fast food chain while in Detroit. I love how they give you the option to use hashbrowns as your bread option if you’re looking for a gluten free sandwich. It was delicious! My partner got the breakfast burrito and it was a little on the small side but very dense!
