Great brunch place! Wife has Celiac and they are thoughtful and knowledgeable which was amazing! I had the hangover which was a great choice and definitely have the biscuit which is nice and fluffy and tastes so good! The French toast was amazing as well! So glad this was recommended for gluten free and not reactions!
We were traveling to Savannah and I looked up for several places that would have good reviews . First , The Collin’s quarter was the only one of them answering my questions on their IG(my son has gluten intolerance and we were traveling with the dog). They could sit us outside with the dog and had options for my son👌🏻 I booked a table with them for dinner.
We ate at couple of places with good reviews prior to dinner at Collin’s quarter and it was a huge disappointment. But when we came for our dinner it was simply amazing! The staff, the dishes, the service-all impeccable! They loved our dog and she got lots of attention🌺 the server told us about their breakfast and “best coffee in town” and it would have been a mistake not to come and try their breakfast. So we came back the next day and it was delicious ! Highly recommend!
I'm gluten free not always easy to find a good place to eat.But found Kayak Kafe' had a turkey avocado sandwich that was amazing! A small salad with cilantro lime dressing freshly made in house was one of the best dressings I have ever had. My husband had a cucumber lemonade that was delicious! Would visit again if ever I'm in town.
The service was great. The line was admittedly very long because the place is super popular. It’s one of those “don’t miss” tourist things. So, when in Rome… they had people bringing water to those of us waiting in 100 degree heat. We waited and had our choices picked out. I was happily surprised they had vegan ice cream. It’s not sorbet or sherbet, it’s actual ice cream, and they can make all kinds of treats with it. They clearly mark their menu for allergens, too, including gluten, nuts, and whether an item can be made vegan. I have multiple allergies so this is very much appreciated. They also offered to scoop out of the back where there was less cross contamination when an allergy was involved, so, again much appreciated.
The reason I didn’t rate 5 stars… the ice cream wasn’t knock your socks off ice cream. It’s good, but to stand in line for 30 minutes and all the jazz, the experience didn’t match the hype to me. If you’re looking for ice cream on a hot day, this would be the best option. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it though.
PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF TO WRITE GLUTEN FREE ON THE GLUTEN FREE FOOD WHEN THERE ARE MULTIPLE SANDWICHES IN AN ORDER. Just had to throw out my sandwich because I am 98% sure you switched the breads on the sandwiches. It’s just a waste of money for me at this point and it would take your staff 15 seconds to do.
Must visit for anyone gluten-free! Hands down the best cinnamon rolls I've had. The dough is fluffy (even after freezing/reheating) and the icing is light and perfectly sweet. The sugar cookies were just like my mom used to make. Charlotte was lovely and the prices are some of the best I've ever seen for gluten-free.
Wowowooww. They have gluten free break and can make almost anything GF on the menu! I got their seasonal French toast and the bread was sooooo good. Will def come back here again when in Savannah
Great coffee and with gluten free baked goods. I got the lemon raspberry bunt cake but they also had a cheesecake option. Had salads too which would have worked.
Had a wonderful gluten free bread option! It was not the typical gf option that up charges for a nasty piece of bread, but rather a homemade option! The baristas were very friendly.
Loved this cafe! So many vegan (and gluten free) baked goods options, great drinks, and the real appeal is the arts and crafts tables making it a perfect family experience.
My coffee was perfect, the service was awesome and my banana muffin was scrumptious.
This was my latest visit and I had a gluten free English muffin with butter and cream cheese and it was delicious. I also enjoyed a pour over coffee which was one of the better ones I have had lately.
I will be back.
Went in today! The iced coffee was delicious. I would definitely go back for plain coffee. When I asked if the syrups were gluten free the barista didn’t know. That’s fine. Another worker said she didn’t know why they wouldn’t be. Well… good thing I checked myself, because they aren’t! It’s important for food workers to know, especially if if can make people very sick.
Man I really hate to say this because the staff was so nice… but this cake was terrible. Brought this to a work event and the gluten free cake we got was beautiful, but tasted disgusting. Something went wrong in the baking process here. This was looked and tasted just like Play-Doh, had to be cut with a knife and bent a fork?? The icing was delicious but the actual cake was so odd in texture and was not sweet at all. Even when gluten free, this is the WRONG texture. A real disappointment.
I just wanted to pop in for a bite to eat, but gluten free. The only thing in the counter (aka on offer) was a small cup of some kind of brown yogurt, I was told by the barista working there. For a place called Superbloom, offering all kinds of vegan items, I was disappointed and unfortunately had to walk out. The place looked cute tho. I see the owner's comment, and appreciate that, unfortunately I was not offered those choices as I was there. However, I was looking for something to "chew on" for lack of a better description.
Cash Only. Cute cafe, cozy decor and the staff were friendly. Overall quality was lacking, and I have to assume that rent in the busy tourist district is so high that they have to use a lot of cost saving measures (which would be understandable). My gluten free breakfast sandwich + coffee was $23 before tip, and it was just ok. The GF bread was the tiny kind, which was good for a breakfast sandwich. The coffee came in a huge mug and tasted decent.
Overall, if you want to support local businesses that have a Christian-forward brand, this would be a good spot. Just don't expect too much in terms of quality.
The staff really make the difference here- very friendly and helpful- and the baked goods, especially the gluten free carrot cake, are delicious! Very clean and pleasant, will definitely return on a regular basis.
I went here with my fiancé, who has dietary concerns relating to gluten and soy— and after carefully reviewing their information (posted below) we were very excited about the bacon, eggs, and hash brown options for him!
To our dismay, the service attendant told us that they use soy on their grill— which completely negates this dietary information and significantly lessened what my fiancé was able to safely eat.
Don’t rely on the online posted guide. Always ask. We narrowly avoided him having a bad reaction.
This is the cutest little bakery/tea shop ever. So quaint with the most unique seating areas. Will accommodate a gluten-free diet if requested. I could visit here every day. Also, the iced green chair is divine!!
