Hidden gem for not only the best Chinese food in Edmonton but because most of the dishes can be made gluten free!!! Staff are very knowledgeable about allergies.
Incredible gluten free (and often vegan) breads and sweets. The sourdough bread was incredible toasted with peanut butter. The tigernut cookie was a crunchy treat. And the chocolate raspberry Sammie was incredible. We came back a second time in our trip for bread to take to Jasper. So grateful to have found Food in the Nud!
Yum! The double cheeseburger & fries were delicious. I got the gluten-free bun, which was soft and fluffy 😇 I am highly sensitive to gluten cross contamination and get sick from the smallest exposure. I was fine, felt great after with no symptoms.
The young person who took my order was kind and knew exactly what to say to ease my nerves around potential cross contamination.
If you need a big and filling burger that is grilled to perfection, then make this place your next stop xo
Amazing food and wonderful welcoming service! Everyone at my table was raving about how delicious their plates were. Fresh seasonal fruit is common in the dishes and it was lovely. Marching was our server and you can tell he is very passionate about his job here. Friendly and attentive. If anyone in your party is gluten sensitive they have a delicious gluten free crepe with fresh fruit. I ordered a traditional breakfast with a side of avocado. Everyone loved their lattes as well.
Love love love Blaze pizza!! My first time there I was blown away by the efficiency & speed for the pizzas. The toppings were spectacular, and with the build your own your can put as many as you'd like! Made the perfect custom pizza of my dreams! And had excellent basil garlic bread :) will be returning more than once and was pleased they have so many Edmonton locations! plus! Gluten free options, something for everyone!
Went there on a first date last year and again as we were both getting hangry. The difference in the 2 visits is I've become gluten sensitive so we weren't sure how or what I could eat. But all thr pizzas and Flatbread had a gf option which was great. We got the smoked Mozzarella wrapped and Prosciutto which was great! Then this spicy Italian sausage pizza on the gf crust and it was delicious. With limited places and choices I will be going back!
Kennedy was an amazing waitress and it was an amazing experience and atmosphere. The food was amazing. I especially like it here because they have many gluten free options including gluten free buns and a separate gluten free fryer.
Ordered delivery so can’t speak to the experience when dining in, but this place has the best variety of dishes I’ve seen almost anywhere. We were able to try some things that we’ve never even heard of before and it was all AMAZING. Especially recommend the mango butter chicken and gluten free naan!
I do want to say how much I appreciated that, at least online, you’re able to choose your spice level and the dish descriptions are so clear about what’s in things. As a picky eater who can’t handle spice, this was a godsend and made for a great ordering experience. We’ll definitely be ordering again and maybe will even pop in to experience the buffet sometime.
Yes, the food is a little pricier than other places, but you’re paying for quality and the clear expertise of the chefs. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a step above the usual Indian fare.
In response to many of these other reviews - an added gratuity for parties of 8 or more is indeed extremely standard practice and should not be a surprise if you’ve ever eaten out as a group. It really is on the diner to ensure they’re aware of the restaurant’s gratuity policy before dining, and to make sure they are prepared to compensate their waitstaff fairly. Just my 2 cents.
Great gluten free options that are clearly marked on the menu. Staff are knowledgeable when it comes to celiac disease and the need for safe gluten free preparations. Calling ahead at busy times to get put on the waitlist is highly recommended.
Our server Kris was amazing. We always get gluten free items and they handle.all food correctly so we are not sick. Great atmosphere and nice lighting. Private rooms are a great way to entertain larger group. Never been dissapointed with any item on the menu. Kerp up the great work.
This place is officially on one of my most fav restaurants ever. We had a reso tonight
For 11 people for a triple birthday. We never go out to eat with our in laws ; always end up cooking at someone’s house as there’s a few serious celiac allergies. All I can say is wowowow. This was a 11/10 experience. The food was UNBELIEVEABLE. The service was amazing. And the entire vibe of this place is just next level. I can’t believe this place exists! I can’t wait to come back 🥲 thank you workshop eatery for the amazing meals, memories and service. Our In laws were delighted. It was such a lovely night. We just can’t get over the food.
A beautiful restaurant! They served some of the best lamb I've ever had, and all meals come with complimentary tea. I need to eat gluten free, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating
My experience on May 6th was for my girlfriend’s birthday. We came to Blanco for the first time and had a wonderful experience!! Our waitress Kaylee, was quite delightful. She was very attentive and checked on us steady. She recommended us the quesbirra tacos which is a new favourite! My girlfriend is celiac and she knew exactly how to accommodate her. I can’t say enough about her inviting hospitality. Will definitely be back! Thanks for everything Dale and Jodi
I've been very lucky to get gluten free burritos from this location with no after math of being glutened (celiac disease). The girls working are pleasant and the food has been great.
I've been a regular at Huma/Luna for years, and the food has always been consistently excellent. I appreciate the ability to order tacos without rice and beans, ideal for sampling more varieties. The tacos are generously filled and portions are satisfying. Other dishes I've tried have also been great.
The menu clearly marks gluten-aware items, though they don't have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, so options like chips and nachos aren't safe for those with Celiac disease. 🥲
The vibrant, Mexican-inspired decor adds to the warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s a place I keep coming back to for both the food and the experience.
We had a great experience! The food was delicious, with gluten-free options available. The drinks were refreshing, and the service was warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!
Such a cozy pizzeria!
The atmosphere is incredible, all the workers are friendly and seem to enjoy the team they are apart of!
The owner came over just to ask us how everything was.
We only had 2 cheese pizzas... so far!! One on regular dough and one on cauliflower dough.
Not kidding the cauliflower dough is INCREDIBLE! I have mild gluten intolerance and I felt so good after eating it. We can't wait to come again and try more tasty items!
I really like this place, delicious food and wide range of dishes. I tried sandwiches, cesar salad and mac and cheese, all of these were tasty and fresh. One more benefit is the fact that you can order gluten-free options.
Very cute spot with some cute pottery for sale. Decent prices with dairy free options for beverages.
Not sure the gentleman behind the till understood the difference in vegan and gluten free though as I was offerred something gluten free when I said vegan and had to confirm a few times no eggs, or dairy and I'm not convinced what I ordered was without dairy and eggs.
Otherwise cute spot and polite staff.
One of my favourite spots - great for a business lunch, family meal, or night on the town. I recently used them as venue for an office Christmas luncheon. It was easily our best Christmas party to date because we had the place nearly to ourselves for the afternoon, had amazing food and drinks, and everyone left feeling happy and uplifted. The egg nog creme brulee was sublime! I wish I could buy it by the tub - haha! The great thing about their menu is that it is a good fit for all types of diners (gluten free, vegetarian, etc), and the quality meets the satisfaction of even very selective individuals! I'm celiac and have never been "glutened" here!
This is some of the best sushi I’ve had! Our server was great & made some helpful recommendations, the food was excellent, and they have a full gluten free menu! Each dish was brought to us with “gluten free [dish name]” said, which made me feel very safe. We had a few appetizers, several rolls, and a sashimi sampler. The saki we had was delicious. Staff and atmosphere were great. We will definitely be returning to Izakaya Tomo.
Consistently good burgers, fries and milk shakes. This location will do special prep for allergy requests (I have celiac so gluten free handling is important, not just a lack of bun with my burger). I'm happy the peanuts are back!!! Stupid covid. The staff working are always pleasant and they tend to do a good job of having wiped tables and swept floors even while busy!
The best Thai I’ve had in years, and my new go-to for Thai in Edmonton. We had the Green Curry, Cashew Chicken, and Tofu Pad Thai, and every dish was perfect (and Gluten Free!) Between three people, we had plenty of yummy leftovers to take home too! Generous portions and knowledgeable staff.
Was lovely and very accommodating for my wife who is celiac. Service was very friendly and prompt. Pho broth was very popular at our table. Salad roll options were great and they tasted excellent. Wife really enjoyed the vermicelli dish.
I had the salmon pressed sushi which is one of a few items that can be modified for gluten-free (celiac). The server was very friendly and accommodating to ensure the kitchen staff changed their gloves before preparing my items. I also got GF soy sauce!
We went here for my mom's birthday as she loves Rockabilly culture and were pleasantly surprised about not only how fun it was, but delicious!
They have a lot of traditional Hawaiian spam dishes, great craft cocktails, and gluten free options!
I had their orchid cocktail and it was so delicious 🍸. For my entree I had the gluten free macaroni with squash cheese sauce and it was SO good!
I would definitely go back. Inside tip - ask about the secret $7 menu!
My family went out to the Keg for dinner tonight and it was beyond outstanding. I have been recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and discovered the Keg is a safe place for me to eat at.
Once we were seated, our waiter came by and greeted us, sharing the specials for the night. I informed him that I was Celiac, and he made sure to inform me of how serious they take all allergies and pointed out food I could have safely on their menu. Once we ordered, the manager came around to further speak with me and reassure me they were taking precautions to ensure my meal was safe. Even apologizing that their before dinner bread was not gluten-free.
Our meal came out quickly and was perfectly done and delicious. Our waiter kept our drinks full without interference with our conversation. Once we were done, he offered options for dessert that were safe for me to have and I greatly appreciated his care to this.
I will definitely go back and highly recommend the Keg for any special occasions or a nice treat meal out. The price was well worth it. The staff were amazing and we never felt rushed to leave. A very enjoyable evening out.
I don’t usually eat during the day but I thought I would try this place out and I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty everything had was. Very friendly staff and a huge bonus for having gluten free options
Went with a Chilean person who confirms the food is authentic—and I personally found it delicious and was able to navigate my gluten intolerance easily with many options!
GLUTEN FREE SOY SAUCE!!
The shrimp used for the ebi sushi is gigantic and tastes fresh!! The salmon sashimi is big and thick. They gave me miso soup and it was delicious. And the salmon maki, omg the salmon in it was HUGE. It was amazing! I’ve gotten take out here twice, highly recommend!!
Lovely owners who offer a variety of delicious gluten free treats that have a wonderful chewy texture and are not overly-sweet. They also have plain ones for soups but I like the desserts :)
$6 per tray.
was really good, very kind service, tho i aked for gluten free soy sauce was and was told that it was gluten free but was not. if you are celiac i wouldn't recommend this place, tho if not my friends seemed to love everything
