The fish and chips really hit the spot, but I do wish the gluten-free option would include some sort of batter on the fish. As someone who has to avoid gluten for medical reasons, I am always excited to discover a new-to-me restaurant. Our server was fantastic. He brought out gluten free pitas for us and asked when we ordered if we were celiac. The food was incredible. Enjoyed an excellent lunch at The Alma Boathouse Restaurant on June 3rd. Lucky for me, they have a separate gluten-free menu (much appreciated). I had the lobster roll (which was served on a GF biscuit) and coleslaw. My husband had the fried clams and coleslaw and my daughter had a salad and a bowl of clam chowder (the best chowder that she's ever had). All were delicious and the soft drinks were good. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. Will definitely be back the next time that we visit Alma.

Have eaten here a number of times since being diagnosed with Celiac Disease last year. Most of the time I order the Oh La La Crepes, which are delicious, however, my last visit in, I was made aware upon ordering (for the first time, despite ordering it numerous times in the past as someone with CD) that the crepes are cooked on the same surface as the non gluten free pancakes. This was the first staff member to make me aware, so I wanted to share with others, just in case the proper information isn’t being provided, as it hadn’t been to me for at least 10 visits.

Had the yellow curry with chicken to give them another chance. Taste was good and good size portion. The reason it was a chance was because the last time I came was at supper time and the chicken I got was dark brown and tasted a week old. Not sure if it's just better to always come here at lunch time or what the issue was last time because it was okay this time. Also of note, they do have gluten-free options and I have celiac disease and I did not get sick after eating the yellow curry.

Italian restaurant located in the Sheraton Hotel. **IMPORTANT** From the outside the restaurant looks like its permanently closed, the door is chained off and the windows blacked out. The entrance is actually inside the hotel, they built a false wall in front of the exterior windows and door. Food was excellent and they and a good selection to choose from, Italian themed. We went in for dinner Thursday night. I ordered the hit chicken. They use pepper in one of their gravies, and I found it too much for my preference.
