As a celiac, I was almost glutened here. When I asked a server if the beer was gluten free, I was told everything on the menu was. But when my lager arrived, the bottle listed barley. I double checked with another server, who confirmed it wasn’t gluten free, apologized, and kindly brought me a quinoa-based beer instead (which was good, just a little warm).
I don’t want to be too harsh. Overall, the food was great, and it’s such a gift to have a spot where I can enjoy a tres leches cake without fear. But this experience is a good reminder to always double check, even in places that seem safe. It also highlights how important it is for all staff to be fully trained on gluten and allergens.
Myself and another coworker along with three people we support had dinner at this location. We sat on the patio. My experience at a different Scaddabush location was not that great so I was apprehensive about eating at this location. But it was the best decision we made and that was because Mark our waiter made sure we had a great experience. Mark was Awesome! He was friendly, patient, accommodating and was just over all a great person It was also great especially for the gentleman with us who eats gluten free. Thank you so much Mark! Keep smiling! Keep being Awesome! We appreciate you!

Food is decent. It's great that they have a gluten free eggs benny. Potatoes were definitely undercooked. It is always busy and a zoo to get in - not necessarily worth the wait to get in.
I love Beertown. Not just because they satisfy my foodie cravings for meat, nutrition and flavour…but also because they cater to the dairy and gluten-free side of me with an ENTIRE MENU OF GOODNESS.
Amazing experience here, the food, the drinks, the customer service and attentiveness from the waitstaff is a breath of fresh air! Our server Brie was a complete sweetheart and took outstanding care of us, making sure that my food allergies (celiac disease) were taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, fun, lively atmosphere with delicious food and a waitstaff who cares! Your food allergies are safe here, you won’t have to worry about a thing!
(Celiacs Beware) They have a a lot of gluten free items on the menu but only some of there items are gluten free for example it will say there Empanadas are gluten free but there actually not since they use the same fryer for their non gluten free items. Their arepas though are truly gluten free since they don't fry the bread but a lot of their so called gluten free items are not safe for celiacs so please do ask the waiter and don't just look at the menu and be like wow all gluten free cause its really not. Food was good tho

WOW. For a Thursday, what an experience. It was a vibrant, energetic dining experience. I have a gluten and dairy allergy. Worry? NEVER! The wait staff were diligent, caring and prompt. Immaculate. And all the food was a tasty lil treat to the palette. And BONUS… cocktail hour 😎
Love this place! So many gluten free/vegan/vegetarian options that are actually delicious! The atmosphere is also very cute and the rooftop patio is lovely! Expect to come by when you have some time to relax and enjoy the experience as the food doesn’t always come out super fast but it’s been delicious every time
Our server, Imaan was also absolutely lovely!
Tabule has always been my favourite restaurant, my top choice for lunch in the neighborhood.
The menu offers a variety of healthy options including gluten free items. The staff here are all pleasant and helpful especially Mina. I look forward to see her there every time.
JUST WOW! Friendly and respectful staff. Relaxing and clean environment. FOOD IS OF HIGH QUALITY. gluten free options available. Appetizers are huge!! Great menu for the entire family.
My first visit to Chop Steakhouse was an excellent experience! From the moment we were seated, our server Francesca made us feel so welcome. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive—especially helpful since it was our first time dining there.
One thing that really stood out was how well they handled allergies. I have celiac disease, and both my husband and I have specific dietary needs. The staff took everything seriously and made sure our meals were safe without making it feel like an inconvenience.
The portion sizes were generous, and everything we ordered was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere, amazing service, and a safe, delicious meal—we’ll definitely be back!
Had a work night dinner with some out of country guests and oh my goodness did this restaurant went above and beyond. Attentive service, fully could accommodate the menu for each dietary allergy (dairy and gluten), and had an amazing variety of options from land sea and farm. A bit of a spend but it was worth it for a lovely night out, and the ambiance was divine.
I’ve found it’s a much better experience and food quality when you dine in vs. Take out. Not as many gluten free options - should get a gluten free bun for burgers instead of just saying “no bun”. Good for happy hour.
Brianna our server was very prompt and friendly.
Fabulous meal for my birthday!
Clare was a really great server, very much at ease with all questions, and checked with us without intruding on our meal/conversation.
The chef provided a special gluten-free/dairy free dessert for me, too.
How special!
Steve was incredible and the food was everything I imagined. Steve insisted on grabbing us a gluten free menu after he heard us order multiple items gluten free. It was very helpful and informed a couple of our final decisions
Great food and service. Had the prime rib, mushroom Neptune, Billy miner pie, lobster and steak, and crème brûlée, all of which were amazing. Lots of marked options for gluten free. Only thing that wasn’t great were the bacon wrapped scallop. Sara was extremely attentive and gave us great service. 10/10
They have always been very accommodating for our reservations (placing us in a spot that would best suit dinner with our young daughter) and careful with my wife's allergies (main one is celiac/no gluten). The food has been great and the service is top-notch. We love it there.
We came here for my best friends birthday & we were served by Robin (Robyn?) who was the bestest server EVER! She took care of us for dinner and then arranged us to have the best corner booth right by the Dj! She was a great vibe & so attentive! My only bad feedback about the venue is PLEASE PLAY BETTER MUSIC love you everything else was perfect otherwise & my gluten free pizza was so delicious!!
It is THE place to go for Thai. Handsdown best Thai in the city. Best service, best food. Great place for gluten free options. Cannot wait to go again.

Emma and Jordan at the shoppes at don mills branch were awesome today! Food and portions were great. Gluten free pasta and bread for kids with allergies accomodated.
Unfortunately, this restaurant is unable to accommodate non-standard restrictions (I am dairy and gluten free). I expect more if I am paying for a chef to make a meal. The atmosphere is very loud without the more quiet, private atmosphere of other Kegs I have been to. The wait was also atrocious.
Good service, great happy hour for drinks and pizzas.
My partner is Gluten Free and this is one of our favourite spots for takeout pizzas! Love the Hella Stracciatella and Wild Thing. Do wish they had a veggie burger.
Had a really great experience at this location on a date with my bf. Food alone was delicious, my bf got the butternut squash ravioli with prawns and I got the new chicken chipotle tacos, however subbed the tortilla for lettuce wraps (gluten).
The server was so lovely, I believe her name was Gazelle or Glazelle. Such a sweet girl and offered great service.
Atmosphere was a hit as well, good music that wasn’t too loud, sunshine, roof was open and there were heaters. Would definitely return!
Delicious meals, friendly and timely service considering the full house. Gorgeous view of the falls in a window seat. I told them I had allergies to gluten and dairy (and specified examples including milk, cheese, butter) and they brought out my meal with cheese on it.
Great tequila and mezcal cocktails. Chill but social vibe. Personal favourite for sitting at the bar or patio. Can't count the number of times we've found our way to end the night here. Gluten free food is available.
Atmosphere - nice and cozy
Service - good as toronto standard
Food - sauces, ingredients and combinations are good and unique. Strong flavors give you distinct surprices among all different dishes without similarity feeling.
BUT, seems no one mention about the texture of the fresh pasta, it is a bit sticky to your teeth. Maybe this is their style of cooking to serve "al dante" pasta, to me (I also make my own pasta), a smooth and glutenous pasta is more preferable!
All in all, Viaggio worth a try to inspire your taste.
Celiac safe! Such a cozy environment with amazing artwork on the walls and really wool bar wall. The wait staff explained clearly their process of how they are careful about cross-contamination when it comes to gluten.
I started with their guacamole and cornchips, which was so tasty. Then came the brazed ribs with corn tortillas to create your own tacos. Chefs kiss. It was amazing.
Delicious salad 🥗
Best Gluten free burger I had in Toronto 🍔
The lady served gave me the name of the gluten free buns, so kind of her.
Ambiance is magic 🪄

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Baro a couple of years ago, so we were really looking forward to going back last night — this time post my fiancé’s celiac diagnosis. Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment.
For starters, there is no legend or indication on the menu of which dishes are gluten-free. Thankfully, our server was excellent and took the time to walk us through the options. However, there were extremely limited choices — only one large plate option (also the most expensive dish), steaks starting at $95, and just four small plate options that could be made gluten-free.
We decided to order three small plates to share — which turned out to be shockingly small portions. It would’ve taken double or triple what we ordered just to feel remotely full. When we asked if one of the other large plates could simply be made gluten-free by removing the sauce, we were told the chef “really didn’t recommend it” because it would alter the flavour, and there were no alternative sauces (which made little sense since other sauces clearly exist for other dishes).
In total, for 3 tiny small plates (essentially appetizers), chips with guac & salsa, tuna ceviche, beef tartare, 1 cocktail, and 1 glass of sparkling wine, our bill was $115 before tip — and we left still very hungry.
We were so disappointed — especially with how unwilling the kitchen was to accommodate a very common dietary restriction like celiac. The experience was the opposite of our first visit, and sadly we will absolutely not be returning and would not recommend Baro to anyone with dietary needs or restrictions.
We had a wonderful lunch here today. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was fantastic. They seamlessly accommodated the gluten free requirements of one person in our group.
I recently visited The Keg on Airport Road, Mississauga, near the airport, and it was quite an experience. The ambiance was lovely, and the location was easy to get to with ample parking at the back.
We were greeted pleasantly at the door, which set the tone for the evening. While waiting for our table, there was plenty of space to stand around comfortably, and the cucumber water available was a nice touch. Although I wasn’t initially pleased with the area we were to be seated, the staff kindly prepared a booth for us without any fuss, which I appreciated.
As for the food, I decided to try the new menu item: duck. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The outside was crispy, but the inside was dry. The server was understanding and had it removed from the bill, but the accompanying sauce didn’t help either. The lobster tail was also overcooked and too salty, so I don’t plan to order it again.
On a positive note, the steak was excellent, which is what The Keg is known for. Pair it with the twice-baked potato for a great meal.
The garlic Mashed potatoes was also very good.
The wings to start was very good. If you can handle a little spice go for it.
The bathrooms could use some upgrades, , and touchless faucets would be a good improvement.
Despite some drawbacks, I enjoyed the ambiance and overall vibes. They offer a lot of gluten-free options for main courses, and I’d definitely return for another dining experience.
Chris was awesome about my gluten allergy and came to the table to ensure me of safe choices and options. Happy hour in the bar was excellent! Service and ambiance stellar! The wings were quite spicy 🌶️ the scallops and Brussels sprouts delicious. Last week we enjoyed filet minion in the dining room and all was equally great. 😊
Valery exceed my expectations and more! I was fortunate enough to dine there on Saturday night with my 3 sisters and brother, and our server Hanifa was the best! I work in the restaurant industry but have never seen someone as kind and welcoming as Hanifa was. She made our night. She was very helpful when it came to gluten free insurance and recommendations. We laughed all night and ate amazing food and couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you Hanifa and Valery!
From getting seated to ordering quick round of drinks and all the way to wrapping up dinner - the experience was good. Good place for large groups too! The food was tasty, the venue has vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, the speed of service and attentiveness of the server was on point and the vibe of the place was great for both professional and casual dining!
I picked this place to satisfy a variety of dietary preferences in my party, including gluten-free and vegetarian. Food was excellent, it didn't seem very customizable though, because some things were pre-made, but I will say, it tasted good and there were a lot of options anyway. Prices were decent, cheaper than other options for dining out, but the portions seemed a bit on the smaller side...not ridiculously small, just a bit below what I'd expect. Service was friendly, parking a small hassle. I'd definitely return, but not if I was starving.
Was there last night. Was charged at least $30 more than prices on website menu, food was ok but not as good as I remember from my first visit years ago. Then it seems we were also double billed taxes after requesting the bill be split 3 ways (seems split with taxes in, than she added tax again after the split?). Should have asked for the itemized receipt - beware. Service not great, had to ask for more injera and it was empty for a while (I needed gluten free), never checked if we wanted to order more to drink or dessert. They did refill our water when the pitcher was low.
