Amazing views from the MCA Cafe, although there was a cruise ship docked. The staff were friendly and attentive and we were seated almost immediately. Seating is available indoors and outdoors is at a prime. Great range of food and drinks on offer with vegan and gluten-free options. We ordered the beer battered fish and chips, burger and dips platter. I also had home lemonade which tasted like a mint julip. Will definitely be back when we visit Sydney again.

We went here during Vivid and it was quite a convenient locations. We ordered the buffet menu and they adjusted it for our dietary requirements (DF, GF and red meat free) with minimal fuss. The food was tasty, and surprisingly there was quite a bit of food. My fav was Chicken Karaage. And the spicy tuna Our server was really good, she saved us from eating the glutenous food, the kitchen accidentally servered us one of the menu options with gluten and she spotted it and ran over and sent it back to the kitchen. The fire alarm went off while we were in the restaurant and stayed on for 15minutes which was quite disruptive and I got a headache. The toilets were pretty gross for a highly rated restaurant.

Gorgeous restaurant nestled into the sandstone of the Rocks area. STAFF: Very attentive staff who happily take you through their dishes. FOOD/DRINKS: Good selection of vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes with varied gluten free options available. High quality ingredients served fresh and plated up well. Great (hommus, garlic, tahini, slices Moroccan flavours etc of the North African/Middle East). Our servings were not huge, I'd suggest sharing a number of plates if there are a group of you. They have a great drinks/wine selection too. AMBIENCE: Gorgeous rustic timber and sandstone building with stunning low lit lightning. Ideal for events or a romantic dinner. Some dining available outside which would allow you to take your dog/s etc. great live music outside on the night we were last here. Some table and chairs are hidden away in little private nooks, so this would even serve well as a client business dinner venue too. OVERALL: Will definitely be back, loved the warm, homely yet classy vibe. Would definitely recommend and appreciate the high quality use of ingredients.
