I went to Al Dente next door to here and asked if I could sit at the bar and the gentleman at the front (owner?) was very pleasant in directing me to “his bar” in Benevetos. So they’re related. The menus are similar except Benevotos has a great open kitchen with a wood fired pizza oven. I was a bit pasta-d out so I was hoping for the Sea Bass Al Dente but it isn’t on this menu. So I went for pizza, and they had a gluten free crust (+$5, a little steep) which was very good. The bar tender, who did a great job, said it would be thin, crunchy and good, and she was right. Overall it was a good pizza with plenty of fresh ingredients. Perhaps undercooked on top, which can happen with a Gf crust, but solid. I’ll try the sea bass next door next time.
Amazing experience all around. Innovative menu, great service and atmosphere, and delicious food. The fusion between French and Cambodian is done with separate menu sections, but some influence across boundaries. Perfect for a date night or a group. The bar has an annoyingly-large and out of place TV though.
Appetizer: Kapik King, a slow-cooked spiced pork belly with a rice croquette and pickles, was perfectly cooked and spiced, and a good portion. The three parts of the dish complemented each other - the melt-in-your-mouth sweet-and-spicy meat, crispy rice, and crunchy salty pickles. 5/5
Appetizer: Leah Chah, mussels in a white whine sauce but with an Asian twist, almost like a light curry. Definitely better than the standard, but two complaints: pretty small portion, and no bread for dipping. 4/5
Entree: Pavé de Saumon, beautifully cooked salmon with mushrooms, over mashed potatoes, and with an arugula side salad. Flavorful, French, and good portion. 5/5
Entree: Curry d’Agneau aux Légumes, braised lamb curry with veggies, Cambodian, bursting with flavor from all the spice, good portion size. 5/5
Desserts: Le Péché au Chocolat, a rich French chocolate truffle cake with raspberry, and Sangkhia l’Pao, a Cambodian squash and coconut cake that was less sweet but nonetheless an awesome dessert with good texture. 4/5
Drinks: non-alcoholic:
Elephant Walk Punch (blood orange, passion fruit, lime) 5/5
Kalamansi agave limeade (kalamansi is a Filipino relative of an orange), but it was too orangey, 4/5
Some of these dishes were on the special menu, which is always long, so you may not find these exact dishes when you go.
Good vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten free-options.
We went for Dine Out Boston, so it was $46 for appetizer, entree, and dessert, and we got $9 nonalcoholic spritzers, but normally it would be $13-17 for an appetizer and and $24-32 for an entree. So not too bad.
Absolutely amazing!
The staff is thoroughly trained and managers bring allergies to the table. They even use a black napkin under allergy plates as a signal to all employees that the dish is an allergy. They use casarecce GF pasta - so they can know it’s GF just by looking at it. I felt incredibly safe eating here, and I got an almond flour cannoli!
I went here with two girlfriends and sat at the bar. We order the beans, the hummus with arugula and prosciutto and a gluten free crust pizza. All of it was spectacular. The pizza crust was a think crust - but texture and flavor were spot on!
The bean dish was out of this world and the sauce was excellent. Cocktails were also good and service impeccable. Highly recommend.
One of the coolest spots in little Italy, I loved the set up. The food was really cool, they offered gluten free pasta and vegan cheese which made my day! The service was a bit slammed, we had to wait a while to get seated and checked out but that’s to be expected when it’s a popular spot.
High energy and lively place with an extensive menu and good wine list. The Gluten Free selection is outstanding. The food was great with lots of things to share. It can be loud when it's busy.
This is a Top 9 Allergen Free Bakery, which is hard to find. I really enjoyed the cookie dough cupcake and my sister had the strawberry french toast cupcake.
Ask for what’s fresh! I was so
Excited for gluten free donuts doughnuts 🍩 I asked for what I wanted - what I should’ve done is ask for what’s fresh! Or freshest?
2 of the 6 I ordered weren’t fresh anymore. They were a little stale. And the coconut oil - which I was really excited about - had gone a little rancid. Who knew?
Maybe they should toss things out quicker? Or maybe GF don’t have the shelf stability. I will definitely be back - for the blueberry, the plain cake, and the plain + chocolate, but I may never eat coconut donut again. Also, the jelly stuffed was really brittle, dry and crumbly. I did make it in right at closing ~ 2 pm.
Our main reason for writing a review is Harold. Harold was our waiter today. It was PACKED and he must have been slammed with tables, however he was super attentive, made us feel heard and took priority in ensuring my allergy was accommodated for. His overall persona was just amazing. I would recommend to come here just based off of Harold’s service.
However, we went for my dad’s 58th birthday. The food was great. Atmosphere was so great (never felt rushed, and you were able to hear each other and videos).
They also had GREAT options for gluten free. All fried foods are gluten free, they have key lime pie, New York cheesecake and other desserts that are gluten free as well.
Amazing mexi food! The tacos were awesome and basically everything on the menu (besides dessert) is gluten free. We got a bunch of tacos to try and the guac, which was so flavorful and a decent portion size. Pork belly taco was the best imo, also so fun to try the fried fish (I was told it’s fried in rice flour/batter). Watermelon marg was delicious. They have outdoor seating, but it’s not the nicest views (street/parking lot) and indoors is a nice atmosphere, so I’d recommend going inside

Fantastic spot for interesting, creative food without breaking the bank. 1 drink and enough food we all left satisfied was only 120 bucks total for a table of 4. Our servers were fantastic and the kitchen and serving staff were very accommodating of my girlfriend's celiac concerns. Absolutely fantastic.
Very good burgers! Loved that the waiter knew exactly what I was asking about the French fries being gluten free. Fries and tots are safe and fried in a separate frier! Very tasty fries and the gluten free bun was good too!
Always a great option for gluten-free Asian food! All GF options are listed on the menu! We had the chicken lettuce wraps, as well as the chicken and broccoli! It was delicious!
Homemade GF pasta and mozzarella sticks!!! Yes please!! My sister and I both have celiac and our waiter put us at ease right away, letting us know that the gluten-free food was prepared in a separate area. I did have my 10 year old niece with me. She was not as appreciative of the menu. There were not many options for her as a child.

Some good options! Definitely caters towards allergies. Pancake wasn’t my favorite but everything else was good! Wait time was a lil crazy but great atmosphere! Would def recommend!
Yay for GF options! Overall, a great experience! Rice noodles disintegrated, but I’m used to that in gluten free dishes. Chicken was delicious, peanut sauce was a tasty but a little thick, needed a little more heat, veggies were AMAZING. Kale/bok choy and broccoli was the best. I had high hopes for the GF dumplings, but they managed to be both crunchy and dry on the outside and mushy on the inside. Thai basil lemonade is awesome! Overall, really fun space, great seating upstairs, and we will remember this place next time we are in Boston!
Dedicated to gluten free. The afternoon tea set was just like when I went to London (before I had been diagnosed with celiac). Amazing! Expensive, but so so fun.
Great selection of gluten free treats. I was thrilled how much care the server took and my meal even had a little toothpick that said gluten free. So reassuring!
Delicious gluten free French toast!
Place was packed with a long line outside, but service was fast for the amount of people there. Food was worth the wait!
Seating is tight and probably not a lot of room for strollers or wheelchairs, I’d call ahead to make sure.
Ordered ‘shroom burger (amazing), with spicy crinkle cut fries (way too spicy, even for a Korean), and Shake Shack burger with a gluten free bun (the gf bun didn’t fall apart, which is rare!). Lots of seating at this location.
Great place!! The service was top-notch, the inside is a bit cramped (it's the north end) and wicked hot inside but otherwise good! The real star was of course the food. Hands down amazing from the appetizer to the main course- and they accommodated all my allergies very well! I'm GF and DF, they were able to do a lot and had Vegan options too. I'm celiac, felt safe and didn't get sick. Highly recommend.
had both the sushi bites and the poke and both were amazing. loved the restaurant was so friendly for gluten free people. Tried the fire luau bowl and it was delicious, it was a great portion too. the sauce options for the sushi bite were delicious. the passionfruit vinaigrette in particular was amazing but the spicy mayo and pineapple aioli were also great.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING pizza. I got the pineapple, bacon, and hot honey gluten free pizza delivered and loved it. I loved the flavors and for gluten free pizza it was amazing. Definitely will be ordering again!
Everything we ate was fantastic. My wife is gluten free, one of the managers marked up a menu to layout her choices. Highly recommend the house made ricotta!!
A bit loud, but that’s because everyone was enjoying themselves.

Food was delicious, the waiters and staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The restaurant has a nice well lit view and relaxing ambience. Come here for the homemade pasta and oven fired pizza. Very good. I got the carbonara with gluten free penne.
If you're looking for flavorful food and healthy options, give this place a try! Delicious! Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available too. You'll need more than one taco to fill you up. Yummy food so worth it!
This place is so cool! Great vibes, friendly and quick servers plus the food is fantastic. All of the gluten free options are delicious, especially the churros. It was really fun to be able to eat tacos and oysters at the same time.
The restaurant boasts the fact that they can make most of the menu gluten free, but after asking about gluten free pasta, I was informed they don't have it. So I decided on the caprese risotto since it was one of the options I could have. It was very tasty. A little too cheesy for my taste, but overall a solid meal. Do not come here expecting gf pasta though.
Two guys working on Sunday afternoon. We walked in to a few folks at the bar and an empty set of tables. Didn’t look promising. We were pleasantly surprised from start to finish.
The after show rush filled up the place in 20 minutes and the place got busy! The guys were humping, but did a great job taking care of everyone we saw in the place, despite looking short handed.
Food was all good, solid pub fare. North shore roast beef took me back to Ipswich. The number of gluten free options was awesome to see.
Service was great but we went specifically for the gluten free desserts and they only ok. We went closer to closing as well so they may have run out but their website mentioned lots of gf desserts and the only one available was chocolate cake which good but not great (they’re also a chain so I know options can be limited by location). Probably worth trying if you can get non-gf options.
This is our favorite place to order pizza from! Always delicious and the team is SO friendly and considerate. We have dietary restrictions and Union Pizza offers a great dairy and gluten free option. They also go above and beyond to check ingredients, make sure you’re comfortable and make sure you get what you want. Delivery is fresh and hot. Highly recommend!
The flavors are generally pretty complimentary and I am appreciative of the high-quality gluten-free pasta with celiac-friendly preparation.
The atmosphere leaves something to be desired in two aspects:
1: the somewhat arrogant pricing
2: the customer conveyor-belt style service flow - they are trying to fit as many seatings as possible into each evening and do everything they possibly can to get people in & out in under an hour - seems a bit self-defeating when they are selling $65+ bottles of wine
Worth it if you go in expecting to order light, get one drink, and move on. Definitely find somewhere else if you'd like to enjoy multiple courses and make an evening of it though.
They have lots of gluten free options as well as accommodations - both food and drink was absolutely delicious. I got the Greek lemon and rice soup, Mexicali Salad, and Raspberry Lemon Sparkler
5+ stars! Can’t recommend enough. Everything is amazing & the fact that Monday is gluten free night is 10/10 as someone with a severe gluten allergy. Love Prima!!

My family and I went here the day after Thanksgiving as a special holiday trip since we live over an hour away from Boston and turned out to be the best place we could've chosen!
I made a reservation through the OpenTable reservation app and when we arrived at the restaurant they seated us right away. The hostess was amazing as when we first arrived we didn't like where our table was placed, and then when we moved to another it was right next to the kitchen, where the music played very loudly. Not making an enjoyable place to order.
Luckily though, the hostess was kind enough to move us a 2nd time to a booth and made sure we were all set and comfortable!
I truly have never had that happen in a restaurant before but our hostess was so kind and patient even when it was very busy. She went above and beyond.
After getting seated and finding a perfect spot for my family, our server Addison was kind and amazing. She made sure to give us time to decide what to get as it was our first time there and even went out of her way to make my sister and I a drink they did not have on the menu. My sister really wanted a daiquiri but couldn't consume alcohol at the time so Addison let us know she could make something for us based on what they had at the bar and was a lemonade base, which my sister wanted. She came back with a house-made peach lemonade and even added an orange slice garnish to give it the daiquiri feel and was so accommodating and went above and beyond!
After some time of ordering our appetizers and entrees, Addison made sure to check in on us and ask if we needed anything even when it was super busy and a full house.
Later after finishing our food and all of us requesting a to-go box, Addison made sure to get us the correct size boxes for our leftovers and even gave us a bag and willingly helped us bag up our food in a to-go bag provided by the restaurant.
I rarely try new places during the holidays, especially on a Friday night, which is when we went, but this restaurant was an amazing choice and I highly recommend it!
The dishes we ordered were super flavorful and probably the best restaurant I've tried in Boston when it comes to a simple American menu. It is such a family-friendly restaurant and very warm and inviting. I would be willing to drive over an hour again just to come back with my family and friends.
Another thing I really enjoyed about this restaurant aside from the service and food is their ability to offer both vegetarian AND gluten-free options as one of my sisters is gluten-free while the other is vegetarian. The restaurant has so many options and took my sibling's modifications seriously. My gluten-free sister also reported that her food was very good, which is rare as a lot of restaurants we've tried do not have tasty gluten-free options/dishes.
The photos down below show my family's order being; the Korean Sticky Pork Ribs, 2 BPH burgers, 1 Beyond Vegetable Burger, a side of the seasonal sautéed vegetables, and 1 Fish and Chips entree.
Overall, if anyone ever wants to try something new with their family, or even go by themselves, I highly recommend this place and their Korean Sticky Pork Ribs and the Fish and Chips!
We really enjoyed our lunch at Luke’s! They have gluten free options too! I had the GF seafood sandwich flight with lobster bisque and it was delicious! I don’t know how that bread is so soft and still GF! My non GF spouse really enjoyed his meal as well. Service was super friendly. Lots of locals eating there.
One of my favorite places to eat when visiting Boston! Gluten-free fish and chips is very hard to come by! I appreciate their “gluten free promise” for safe GF food!

Amazing! As a severely lactose intolerant person with a partner who has Celiac disease, we often struggle to find places to eat. This place had gluten free cones and all the ice cream was coconut based. You couldn’t even tell! Delicious.
