The menu had a lot of good vegetarian options at least 5 or more which is pretty rare these days. I've also seen they had options for gluten free and vegan.
When we arrived without a reservation they were able to accommodate us but if you have a bigger party I would make a reservation as it was quite busy even for a Sunday night.
The servers were super friendly and covered for each other, meaning when your server was occupied another would drop by the table to help out.
The food was amazing, fresh cooked pasta from scratch which tons of flavour and good sized portion. They also had an really good breadbasket that seemed a bit endless and that you could dip into some quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
The atmosphere was lively with the kitchen in the middle and two dining rooms. Overall the space was clean. The only negative with the atmosphere or the space was the parking situation, on a busier night you have to park farther away from the door which can be difficult if you have mobility issues and it was a bit dim inside with the dark coloured furniture and cream walls. Maybe it's brighter during the day but at night I'd like brighter lighting.
Definitely would go back. Add it to your list as a Italian place with quality that caters to a range of eating preferences and is mid range budget wise.
Gluten free pizza was very good. Mushrooms on salad were overcooked and we asked for no cheese on one dish and initially it was served with cheese. They took it back without question and replaced it. They listened and thanked us for the feedback. Very good attitude by staff. I would come back and recommend
I have Celiac's disease and there was no shortage of gluten free options. They could do GF pasta with most of their sauces, GF pizza dough, and even plenty of GF appetizers!
Came in on a Saturday a few minutes before closing and got the most welcoming service one can hope for.
The food was fresh, and very flavourful. Ordered 4 different dishes and each one tasted different.
The gluten free pizza was excellent!
Just had my baby shower at Stonefire this past weekend. Everything from the service and venue was amazing. There were tons of delicious options to choose from the brunch buffet. They were also able to accommodate guests that had gluten and dairy allergies. Jen (the Events Coordinator) made all of the arrangements so easy and attended to all of our needs. Mark was also hands on very accommodating. The entire staff was very friendly and my guests were very pleased with the service.
We were 3 ladies out for lunch. Person 1 celiac and gluten free, Person 2 chromes & colitis and Person 3 diverticulitis. The server was amazing . We advised her of of dietary needs and she offer ed suggestions. They served a board of gluten free foccaci & olives to start.it was tasty. Person one had grilled chicken on a bed of polenta. Person 2 had gf pasta & chicken and Person 3 had gnocchi with red sauce. We were so pleased we all found something to enjoy off the menu. It was also one of the only restaurants open on a Monday in the area. Thank you for contributing to a successful ladies lunch. We will return again.
The BEST Pizza Nova in all of Canada. I have been coming here for over 10 years. Andrew and his staff are amazing. Andrew always makes my day. They always make sure you are satisfied with your order. I have become gluten intolerant and their gluten free crust is delicious. I recommend this Pizza Nova to everyone!

Food was delicious!! Gluten free pasta and "focaccia" were excellent and well served. Nice, accommodating and joyful staff. Pretty ambience. Excellent overall.
We hosted my future sister-in-law's Bridal Shower at 9Baci & we cannot say enough good things about the experience. 9Baci made it so easy by providing the linens, sweet card, backdrop & champagne wall. Along with those items we also got to pick which chargers, glasses & utensils we wanted for the night. We brought in our own flowers by all the decorating was done by the staff so when we got there as hosts, we just got to sit & enjoy!
The food, as always, was next level. The Bride & I are both Celiac & the staff went above & beyond to ensure that we were safe to enjoy our meal.
There was never a moment that there was an empty glass, a dirty dish on the table or anything wanting anything. The service was exceptional.
Thank You to Cathy & her team for truly making this an unforgettable night.
Food is excellent. They serve gluten free pasta! Tomato sauce is tasty and chicken was tender. Hugh portion that I had another portion for light dinner and small lunch. Service with a smile and excellent suggestion with care for food allergies. Very small but has its charm. Very loud during the busy lunch hour.
It is difficult to find. It's entrance is not directly on Hwy 7. It's directly behind the shell gas station
Spent Mother’s Day at Forty 40 with 28 family members. Food was fantastic, options for everyone including gluten free. Lobster, lamb chops and the risotto was delicious. Patio was open, and set up beautifully. Would absolutely return for another occasion.
La Baracca is absolutely beyond beautiful. We have been here multiple times and the food is incredible and the presentation is spectacular. They make the BEST gluten free pasta, delicious bufala caprese and the branzio is to die for!!! The atmosphere, interior area and patio is relaxing, beautiful and romantic. The staff and manager Donaldo are the sweetest people ever, beyond professional and go above and beyond our expectations. This is our favourite restaurant and we would highly recommend La Baracca to any of our friends and family.
Really liked the food, decor and service. I didn't see gluten free items and hope they add some in the future. Will definitely be coming here again in the future.
I'm gluten free and this place has gluten free options!
I do not feel deprived.
I had grilled octopus as an appetizer.
Very flavourful.
Lamb with grilled vegetables and potatoes.
Cooked perfectly
Great pizza, same great taste like always. They even have gluten free options. The women that usually helps us is very sweet and friendly. Sometimes wish they had more slice options available when I come in but it’s usually not a long wait, especially if they are making a fresh one.
We visited That's Italian after reading great recommendations on a local Facebook group. The staff were friendly and our antipastos were delicious. However, when our meals were brought out we were told the gluten free pizza would take a few extra minutes which was fine. But four of us had finished our meals, and the fifth person still hadn't received her gluten free pizza. We were told by 3 different waitresses "it's coming right out" in a span of 20 minutes. When I personally went up to ask the waitress about the pizza, she had checked with the chef who stated it would be another few minutes. At this point it had been 1 hour and 20 minutes since our order was entered into their system, and we were still waiting for one meal. The waitress mentioned she could give us a free dessert, however I asked if she could just do a bill discount instead since we had to leave & we were all full. She explained that the gluten free pizza has to be made separate which I completely understand and I appreciate the effort that's put into their allergy precautions, however 1 hour and 20 minutes is a little absurd. After she checked with the chef, she stated he's only willing to offer a dessert but due to the amount of time we'd had already been waiting, the waitress said she'd pay for the gluten free pizza herself. It's disappointing that the waitress could only provide this option by paying out of pocket. We were also there to celebrate a birthday, which was told to the staff who greeted us at the door but no celebration or anything was made, as they mentioned they'd do.
