This restaurant hit the spot! Every dish we had was delicious you just have to try it yourself. If you have allergies, they take it seriously. Which I appreciate as we do have a family member with serious allergies to gluten.

Nice ambience, we had a gluten-free pizza that was fantastic, and shared an antipasto salad, which was incredible also. We stumbled onto it luckily, enjoyed everything about it.

Our waiter Luca, didn't give us the full experience. Sadly I heard another waitress doing her job with such class and enthusiasm. No specials were said, the other waitress greeted her table with the specials. Apparently we weren't special. My husband's meal was lacking flavor and chicken. 3 small bits of chicken with his penne pasta. My daughters Alfredo, sauce was bland and this Mama never adds salt to ANYTHING, but this NEEDED it. It was great after I added some flavor. My tortellini fungi was amazing. My son's pizza and my mother gluten free pizza(yes they have gluten free pasta and pizza)was tasty. Never did we just get drink refills, we had to ask. Sadly I wished our waiter made our first experience here a nicer one. Don't think hubby will want to come back. 😢

We had a very positive experience at Leucadia Pizzeria. The service and food were excellent. I like the easy-going atmosphere here. The decor is fun and casual. They have a variety of pizzas and salads. We have also tried the chicken wings and the raspberry cheesecake. The sauces are unique and delicious. It is one our favorite places in the area. They have gluten free crust and it is fantastic. That is not always the case.

I come to San Diego a few times a year, this time, we stayed in LIttle Itally. I was here for 4 nights, and we stopped at several of the top rated restaurants. We had great experiences at those places. But I will tell you, this was the best meal I had in my 4 nights here. I also have a gluten sensitivity, and can't have regular pasta. In my 6 months of having to modify my meals to gluten free, it was the first time I didn't feel like I was eating gluten free pasta. We had the gluten free bruschetta to start, and I had the gluten-free shrimp scampi. The chef even came out to ask how our meals where, he was very kind and listened to us. I highly recommend this gem. Caesar was a fantastic waiter. Finally, the wine selection was fantastic which is the reason the price per plate for us was higher. Defintely half that without wine.
