Fantastic experience. The food was so good! I had a gluten-free pizza, then got a gluten-free s'mores pizza. Both were delicious. My husband got... idk see picture. He ordered another after eating the first one. They aren't really big, but they're enough for one person. We also went there at 1030, so we were eating off the after-hours menu. Beautiful night and location.
I ordered the gluten-free crust, which was surprisingly good. The crust had a somewhat chewy texture that reminded me of eating wheat. They use quality ingredients to make the pizza but it was on the pricy side. A 12 inch gf pizza with 4 toppings was around $35. We also ordered house salads, which weren't anything special. I would come here again for the pizza.
The prices are affordable. Similar to the subway, but for pizza. They have keto and gluten-free options. Our pizzas were a little bit dry but still very good. After we both got ran to dip them in they became very good.
Fig and prosciutto on gluten free crust has us coming back at least once a month. I hate for this place to get any more busy than it already is, but if you haven't tried them yet, definitely do. They may become a new favorite for you as well. Also, if street parking is full, there's a free lot one block away.
My boyfriend is trying to be keto. We went to this restaurant and they made us a pizza without a crust. It was absolutely delicious. I didn’t even miss the crust. They do have gluten-free crust options. I’m gluten-free and I look forward to trying those.
This is an amazing family friendly Italian restaurant with lots of options and daily specials. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well as inside. Right when you walk in you see the delicious cakes, pastries, and gelato they have to offer. We started off with Aperolspritz with Prosecco, calamari, and spinach and artichoke dip. The calamari portion was small but still tasted great. The spinach and artichoke dip was amazing on the pizza toast that comes with it. We also had three types of their pizza toast include a gluten-free crust. The regular crust tasted like flatbread and was hard towards the crust. The sauce on the Margarita Pizza was extremely salty. Chicken Alfredo was ok and very thick and clumpy. But the highlight was the Limoncetto Cake. Very most and delicious. The gelato was icy and tasted like store bought icecream. Wouldn’t recommend. Overall great atmosphere but would recommend some updates to the menu.
We love Paisanos. To clarify, this is Paisanos on Pelham. The food is fantastic and the people are just wonderful. Obviously, pasta and pizza are what most people go for. And those are top-notch. Their gluten-free crust on a spinach special pizza add bacon is wonderful. Lately, I've been branching out and really enjoy the Napa Chicken Salad. Take home some tiramisu or red velvet cake for later.
Amy and her team at Tacozzini were amazing, handling a massive takeout order for our wedding party on 4.21.23 and hand-delivering it to Wisteria Augusta Salon where we were getting our hair and makeup done for my wedding last week. They made sure everything was labeled (we had some gluten-free and vegan options included), and even offered to bring over nice table settings and catering silverware to elevate our experience! We declined, in case our hair and makeup finished early and we had to eat and dash (or eat in hair chairs). Everyone loved their food and it was such a great spot, highly recommend Tacozzini for anyone needing gluten-free, dairy-free, or just delicious options for dinners, lunches, or takeout!!
We were there for over two hours. When we finally received our food one of the pizzas was clearly forgotten and the excuse we received was “the gluten bread has to bake longer than regular dough.” Horrible excuse, just admit it was forgotten. Other tables around us arrived, received their food, and left in the time we were there. No apology for the service or time it took. Dals has started going downhill.

If you have any type of allergy do not go to this restaurant!!! They are clearly untrained. We specifically went there for the gluten free options, got gluten anyways. Spoke with the manager who was defensive in the whole conversation and is referring us to “loss control” obviously thinking we just wanted a free meal. That is after committing multiple times 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant. Pretty sure the waiter’s recommendation of the salad dressing of Italian had the gluten so obviously wasn’t trained well enough as no less than three times did we mention everything needed to be gluten free for one in our party. Maybe manager needs some training too as this review would not be posted if he had better customer service skills with us when we told him of the problem and did better training of staff.
I met my friend here for dinner. It was absolutely delicious. I’m gluten-free and I had plenty of options. It was a fun atmosphere such a funny concept honestly, but it is really cute.
We absolutely love this place. It reminds us of our favorite pizza in Charlotte. Everyone is so nice and always treats me great. The pizza is fresh and delicious.
I have a gluten allergy and it's hard to find a great gluten free pizza. They have the best!
What an incredible place!! The calamari appetizer was the best we'd ever had. The gluten free options and specials alone were top notch. We have already planned our next date night back at Sciortino's 🍷Be sure to have a glass of their incredible wine.
We had come here a year ago and had one of the best dining experiences ever. The service was over the top and the food was amazing. They spoiled us and catered to my celiac daughter like no other restaurant had. So it is hard to not be let down from that! Our experience tonight was not the same. The food was still delicious so don’t hesitate to go. The service was good. Our server from last time is the manager - good for him because he understands the service industry. He remembered our party and was so sweet. Our waitress tonight was ok. Because we were a large party we had a 20% tip added on. We usually tip more that that anyway. There were several things that let us down versus last time. One example is two people in our group ordered mojitos - one vodka and one rum. Both people complained about the drinks. They were strong with no flavor. The waitresses solution was to bring a second glass with soda water. When she came back she asked how was the drink and was told umm ok but with a look that let her know it wasn’t. The drinks weren’t drank because they were not good and she didn’t check or credit them. Silly but you could have offered something else or made it ok. Oh well. We were spoiled once. We will try again.
So used to adore this place but like most restaurants COVID has hindered how many people are actually working. Online menu says gluten free options available. Well let me tell you the VAST amount of things you can enjoy!! Salad and rigatoni with either red sauce or meat sauce. The server was nice zero issues with her but product knowledge & even what a food allergy is seemed to be beyond her. I do not fault employees for this as I have a culinary degree myself. Just poorly trained staff which falls back upon management to ensure this happens.

Stopped in on the way to North Carolina. Horrible dining experience. Ordered spaghetti with marinara and house salad. Asked waitress if I could get spaghetti gluten free. She said yes, but when she brought my order, it was penne pasta. She said that was the only gluten free pasta they had. She never informed me of the change. The pasta sauce tasted like something that came out of a can, the salad had old tomatoes on it, and the garlic knots were tough.
After eating, the waitress never returned with the check. We had to walk up to the front desk to pay. As I was walking to the desk, I saw our waitress with her back to us and strolling through her cell phone.
If you want authentic italian food and good customer service, DO NOT STOP at Basilico in Greenville SC!!! If I could have given them less than one star, I would have done so.
This place is amazing! I have trouble when I have too much dairy or gluten, but that doesn't happen here. This was the 2nd time my wife and I went there. The first time they had live music was a nice treat. I got the Romano sampler so I could try several dishes. It was delicious and I could only eat about half. My wife got angel hair Portofino, and she very much enjoyed it. We topped if off with Tiramisu. I haven't found a place that does it better. Until next time!
GLUTEN FREE REVIEW
We absolutely loved our experience at Jianna and would highly recommend it, even to someone with a gluten allergy! I do wish they would have GF and GFA options identified on the menu but our waiter was very knowledgeable.
Menu highlights:
Ricotta Crostini (came with gluten free crackers) - this smelled & tasted incredible!
PEI Oysters (Northern Belle if available)
Halibut (was the highly special and was absolutely fantastic. The flavors were amazing and it was cooked to perfection)
Spaghetti TBG paired with meatballs (NOT gluten free) but they do have a Gluten Free noodle (penne) that can be used
Also recommend having the staff help pair a wine with your entree. I had the Pinot Nero with the Halibut, which was absolutely perfect!

Our food was amazing! Veal piccata was fantastic. And, I love that there was gluten free pasta as an option. We will be back!
