In town for a conference and needed a place with gluten free options. Sherry, or server, right away asked if we had any allergies she needed to be aware of. I told her I had celiacs. She informed the kitchen and Orlando can it and discussed with me while the have gluten free dough and will do their absolute best not to cross contaminate he could not 100% guarantee it. I very much appreciated his honestly and told him I would give it a shot. I preferred the Vera Margerita pizza. It was the absolute BEST pizza I have had in a really long time. I am full, happy and had no reaction. My husband had the duck pappradell pasta and loved it. Thank you guys for a wonderful tasty evening and the thunderstorm did make for a great show!

They have gluten free pizza and it actually tastes good! It’s a bit expensive though. I haven’t been inside because my husband usually picks it up but we really enjoy it.

Jonathan was amazing, so hospitable and knowledgeable! Gluten free options and omg was it amazing. To get a Primavera, grilled chicken, GF and to be so flavorful! The entire experience was 5 stars!

Worth the wait! I did the “build your own pasta” with the gluten free pasta & parmesan cheese sauce, which was delicious - being able to mix & match their pasta options to all be GF was great. Husband got the chicken parm & absolutely loved it too. Portion sizes were very generous! We chose 4/5 as for an Italian restaurant, we were hoping for a bread appetizer that most restaurants offer, but we didn’t have that. And we do agree with the other reviewers that it is a little slow, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. Staff were all very kind & personable!

Absolutely love the their gluten free pizza! Fantastic!! Pepperoni, jalapeños and onions!! Bartenders Jasmine and Marie can pour you an exceptional drink with a top off if you like, and yes, I do! Manager Julio and kitchen manager Adrian fantastic and salt of the earth! Highly Recommend Parry’s South Rim, San Antonio. It does not disappoint!!

Sooo delicious!! Our group came here on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch after a rough morning. Mare e Monte did not disappoint! I had no expectation for gluten free options but yes there are some options. The service was excellent and the staff very accommodating. Everyone really enjoyed their food. All our dishes were savory yet fresh and bright. A very lovely dining experience that made our day. Picture 1- Pollo di Piccata (made gluten sensitive) Picture 2- Gluten sensitive bread Picture 3- Fettuccine di Parma with chicken Picture 4- side of zucchini & carrots Not pictured were the amazing salads we had, ate them too fast!

My children chose to take me to North Italia to celebrate Mother’s Day. We were seated promptly. We ordered an appetizer which took 35 minutes to be served. I assumed it was busy due to Mother’s Day. We promptly ordered our entrees. I ordered the gluten free pasta. And we waited and waited and waited. 90 minutes later our meals arrived. My pasta was watery and very unappetizing but I was determined to enjoy it and move on. My daughter could see the dish was a mess and brought it to the attention of the manager who came over. Very friendly! I told him I was ok and would eat it but could I have some bread to soak up some of the water. The bread came after the waiter had cleaned up our table! It seems as if the people that bring the food are clueless to any issues with the table. Our waiter was also the bartender so we waited some more for our ticket. They comped my meal and dessert which were delicious!! But unfortunately never again. There are sooo many other great Italian choices in the city I’ll go anywhere else.

Went for a nice, simple lunch. I've been craving cheese pizza for a while. They offer gluten-free crust which is amazing!! I asked for extra sauce and cheese because I just really wanted it. It was super delicious! Servers & staff all really friendly Highly recommend! 🥰

Atmosphere is nice great place to hang out. And then even have a section where you can eat with your dogs which is nice 😊 Service was quick ,knowledgeable, and kind 😌 Went in to try the gluten free pizza it was pretty good, wish they offered a smaller pie size for the gluten free pie . But all in all still good GF free pizza 🍕 I also order wings and they were superrrrr tasty 😋 would definitely come back for the wings for sure 5/5 for the wings. I ordered them plain all drums with hot buffalo sauce on the side. Loved how fresh the wings were , and the little extra black pepper they put on the wings was a nice touch . All in all great place only critique is I wish they offered a smaller size for the gf pizza 🍕

Loved this place! The food was superb! Our waiter was also amazing. I was so excited to eat here. They have gluten free pizza dough and it tasted amazing. It surpassed my expectations for gluten free dough. I will absolutely be coming back here again and have their Cacio e pepe dish.

I’ve been a loyal supporter of this restaurant for months—my family are wine club members and I’ve always looked forward to enjoying my favorite glass of wine and my favorite gluten-free pizza. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was deeply disappointing and genuinely concerning. I arrived before opening and waited respectfully in my car until 4 PM when they opened. Once seated, I wasn’t greeted by a server for 27 minutes. When my server, Mel, finally arrived, I placed my wine and food order right away—clearly stating that I needed a gluten-free pizza due to an allergy. After being told there was an issue with the oven and waiting nearly another 30minutes, I was served a pizza that I immediately suspected was not gluten-free once I ate it. When I asked my server to double-check, she confirmed it was not gluten-free. This is completely unacceptable. Not only was the service extremely slow and unprofessional, but serving someone with a food allergy the wrong item is a serious health risk. I had to leave right away to take care of myself, and the entire experience left me incredibly upset. I’ve recommended this place to so many people in the past—but now, I simply can’t. I’ve never felt so disregarded at a restaurant, especially one I used to speak so highly of. I truly hope the team takes food allergies more seriously moving forward

Delicious food and excellent service. It’s pretty loud inside, but the patio is very peaceful. All waitstaff is ‘your’ waitstaff, so you never have to wait until you see (or remember) who your waitstaff was to get something else. Every one is very friendly and helpful. I love that they have gluten free bread (that is very good). The Bruschetta platter is amazing and enjoyed the Nut Bar for dessert.

Ordered three pizzas, two 12 inch ( one traditional cheese and one gluten free pepperoni) and one 18 inch Don pizza for pick up. I showed up at the time indicated and had to wait 15 minutes for the pizzas. The gluten free pizza was fantastic. The cheese pizza had little to no cheese and was all crust on the edges about 2 inches in, the 18 inch Don had little to no cheese and was just crust about two inches in almost all the way around the pizza and in some places close to 4-5 inches in with NO toppings or cheese. Very disappointed and regretted tipping generously when I prepaid online because the tip was certainl mot earned. Doubt I'll be going back.
