Restaurant with homemade, quality food.
Great atmosphere, and the service, starting with the owner, is incredibly good!
And, best of all, all the dishes are gluten-free!
Ca' Miguel for President!
We were looking for a restaurant near Charco Verde for lunch, and after reading that Casa Rafa had good reviews, we decided to book, and it was a great choice.
To start with, all the waiters are charming and take care of every detail. As soon as you arrive, they serve you bread with mojo sauce, asking beforehand if there are any guests with gluten intolerances. My husband, a celiac, told the waitress, and she immediately brought him gluten-free bread. She also informed us that all the fried food was gluten-free, as were the desserts.
We ordered delicious black rice and, while we waited, some grilled Lanzarote cheese, which pleasantly surprised us.
Definitely a recommended place.
We have been coming for years and it is always spectacular. My celiac son is delighted. They always surprise him with new tastes. Thank you all for such great service.
They offer gluten-free pasta and pizza options. We had two pizzas, both large and quite good. The waiters were helpful and attentive. Located right on the seafront, the atmosphere is pleasant.
If you are looking for varied and very delicious gluten-free pizzas this is the place. Also with gluten. If you want a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere you will find it here. And if you want an attentive, pleasant, friendly, funny waiter, etc. Ricardo is waiting for you because he is the one to make you have a pleasant and delicious meal.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food at this restaurant and the friendliness of the waiters. Special mention goes to the scrambled potatoes with cream cheese and caramel, and the polvito—spectacular! Also, the sautéed tuna with vegetables and Canarian plantain, and the crunchy, salty chocolate mousse... Generous portions. You can tell everything is homemade, and gluten-free, too. And the background music is relaxing and very pleasant. Thank you very much!
We had dinner one night with music in the plaza and were treated with great attention. The tapas were delicious, the gluten-free pizza was absolutely perfect, and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it 👍🏻
Perfect restaurant for celiacs since the owner is celiac so he is aware of food intolerance, mixed fried food without gluten and also parmigiana, for the pizza it must be booked a day in advance because the impact is made by gold and it is good quality. Therefore no frozen pizzas or prepared by large food chains. Dessert …… logically gluten-free tiramisu
Spectacular food (vegan and gluten-free), you can see the farm before eating, and the atmosphere and staff are very welcoming. Without a doubt, a unique experience that I highly recommend.
Everything was perfect! I'm celiac and I ate with complete peace of mind. Lots of gluten-free options and everything was delicious. Even the coffee was worth it. Victor was super attentive and clearly knows a lot about the subject. I liked it so much I came back for more!
Overall very good
The food is delicious, contrary to some comments I have read, we at least got it right with razor clams, chopitos and secret rice
Clearly you pay for the atmosphere and the place but if you combine it with good service and you leave the towels on the beach, you spend the morning and go down to spend the afternoon without moving more than 20 meters, it is priceless
If it is sunny and there is no wind, tables in the sun are a bad idea, always ask for the shade, just in case.
Attentive and fast service to be a beach “chiringuito”
They have beer and gluten-free bread!!! Point for celiacs
We went for lunch on a Saturday; we were the first to arrive, but the place filled up immediately after opening. It wasn’t our first time, and we keep coming back because this place deserves more than 5 stars.
The venue, location, service, food, and atmosphere are spectacular.
We had an appetizer with three items: Taggiasca olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and smoked provola mozzarella—all divine—accompanied by homemade crostini that were delightful on their own with a drizzle of olive oil. But we saw many more antipasto options that we bet were amazing as well (next time: bufala appetizer for sure).
Then we ordered two pizzas: a Recco filled with melty crescenza mozzarella and extra Taggiasca olives, and a gluten-free base pizza with spicy salami. Both were excellent, a sure thing. We topped the pizzas with homemade spicy oil, which was also truly exquisite.
The establishment offers house wine, bottled and branded, although we enjoyed two excellent spritzes. As for the coffee: 100% Italian espresso, excellent, accompanied by a nice treat—a chocolate bonbon.
Truly a place to dine regularly. Thank you for this quality and customer care.
Very tasty smoothie. Gluten-free sandwich also very tasty, but not clear how safe it was gluten-free (contamination). But everything on the menu was labeled with gluten in mind.
We also had to wait a relatively long time, but it was also well attended.
Overall, still a recommendation. Good coffee and juices.
A real success! The location, the service, the food were spectacular. A ten-point service. Paco was very attentive and helpful. They have food for those with gluten allergies and intolerances.
100% recommended.
We are a group of vegetarian friends who meet from time to time to eat. This time we chose this restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious. They even have vegan or gluten free options. The service is friendly and the space is very pleasant.
A spectacular brunch! ✨
We discovered this place and absolutely loved everything about it. We tried their specialty coffee and it was incredible, with a super rich flavor and well-prepared ☕️. We also ordered a tropical smoothie that was delicious and very refreshing.
The full breakfast is made with organic and healthy products 🥑 you can taste it and how you feel after eating! Plus, they have tons of vegan 🌱 and gluten-free options.
Everything they make is prepared with so much love and dedication. You can feel it in every dish 🍽️. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and has a good vibe. And the place is beautiful! 🪴 Super aesthetic and cozy, perfect for going with friends or relaxing alone 😊
Without a doubt, our favorite place in Gran Canaria!
You have to get a seat by phone beforehand, as it fills up. They treated us very well and the food was delicious. We ended up very full. They are prepared for celiacs and many clients went for this.
The place is very good, it is small and cozy, the man who served us was very friendly, we ordered a gluten-free pasta and a prosciutto pizza for MY taste, the pizza did not have an authentic Italian pizza flavor and the pasta was quite expensive.
Visited here tonight whilst on Holiday. Food was amazing. Staff very friendly Most of the menu can be done gluten free and I had the most amazing gf bread roll I've ever tasted yet. Will definitely visit again
Potentially the best food I ate while in Lanzarote!
My family and I went in and tried a variety of different dishes all of which were super flavourful and delicious! Their Korean fried chicken and tacos were definitely stand out dishes here as well as there burger which even had gluten free bun options!
The restaurant itself was very nice with lots of indoor and covered patio seating. The staff were very friendly as well, our sever was super attentive throughout our dinning experience.
Citurna is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!
Lots to pick from. Staff very helpful taking into consideration we are gluten free. We were there quite early but have heard it gets very busy later on
A cozy little corner, few tables and family attention. The food shows that it is prepared with love. We have always ordered the quinoa burgers and for me they have the option of gluten-free bread which is very delicious.
Delicious food - very accommodating for vegan and gluten free including beer. Waiting staff were the perfect level of attentiveness and had an excellent knowledge of the menu. Lovely atmosphere. My husband really enjoyed the steak and I thought he was going to leave me for the peppercorn sauce.
Paula, a lovely girl, attended me, she came to the table and asked if we needed to fast, she explained everything to us and I also told her that I had celiac disease and she reassured me.
We came this evening for a family meal, 20 of us!! They accommodate us straight away, even gluten free. Amazing staff, great English, perfect evening. Thank you very much for making a birthday perfect 👌
we took the breakfast bowl (with quinoa, figs, eggs and avocado) and toast with avocado, egg and salmon. they have glutenfree bread which was amazing! the green juice and the protein smoothie were also nice. all in all the food tasted very healthy and with little salt. we felt very good after it.
Mabi and the team looked after us brilliantly today! My son had been ill and the chef cooked him grilled chicken and rice which was perfect for him. My daughter is coeliac and they had a good range of gluten free and pasta dishes for her.
The strawberry daiquiri was amazing but most of all, we felt welcome and all our needs were catered for.
We’ll be back and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who needs anything a little special.
Highly recommended place, fresh fish, exquisite staff, and very attentive, gluten-free beer, gluten-free bread, and cornstarch calamari option. I will definitely return with the family. I wasn't able to take photos.
