love this place!!! we were visiting from out of town and this was my favorite breakfast spot by far. I’m gluten free & there are sooo many delicious options, the GF bagel was one of the best I’ve ever tried! great coffee, cutest merch/atmosphere, & amazing service
I want to tell you the pizza is great - they have a tasty gluten free crust! And when they get the online orders correct, the pizza is great- but the last few times we’ve ordered one of The pizzas is missing one or a few items. Once you could count the shreds of cheese on the cheese pizza.
Please, encourage your staff to pay attention to details!!
You can’t beat the price anywhere, so there’s that.

First time having lunch here and having a gluten free menu option and the waiters knowledge of celiac disease was reassuring. Looking forward to my next visit!
Mahi mahi and shrimp were delicious🤤
Do not go to The Grit Counter if you have food allergies and want to try grits. They cannot accommodate you. I can't have dairy or gluten and apparently all of their grits have dairy... so disappointing. I'm in Charleston for the first time and wanted to try the local flavors. I can't believe i wasted a $10 Uber ride to come here and immediately leave.
Ask for server Emily. She was very attentive and catered to a gluten allergy. When the cook sent something on my plate I couldn't have she sent it back and had him make it right so I didn't get sick. She was absolutely wonderful. Ask for Emily next time you are there.
They guys working today 10/20 around 3:30 are amazing! I have a gluten allergy(which is new to me) and i was craving a Philly and they helped me out and were so courteous to me about it. And were just the sweetest. And avoided all the cross contamination and went to get new knives and spatulas and everything. They went above and beyond. Because, i know, in food and bev you CANT guarantee cross contamination, but the guys sure did their hardest to avoid it! Thank you for having such hard workers!!!

We had an amazing experience at this Outback today. We have visited multiple locations in the past, but this one was definitely the best. The food was excellent and our server, Zack, provided exceptional service. My husband has Celiac's disease and the gluten-free menu was fantastic. Great job to the entire team!
This place just keeps getting better and BETTER! With my newly gluten free diet, they made my day on yesterday! The gluten free crepe is now my new favorite paired with either the Snapper with grilled veggies or the savory Curry Lobster! You guys MUST TRY! I promise your pallet will THANK YOU! A bonus is the warm welcoming your receive from the time you walk through the doors until you depart! Ms. Paula and her team is simply AMAZING!
We brought a party of 13 for dinner. Very impressed with the service and the food. We would absolutely come back. Very attentive wait staff. We had a few people who needed gluten free meals and they easily accommodated that allergen.

Food was great with exception to gluten free options. They have gluten free options but no dedicated space which my wife couldn't have many options and had to get a salad. Would be nice if they could have a dedicated space in the future.
I ordered the Ruben on gluten-free bread. I haven’t had a Ruben in a long time and this one was excellent. The atmosphere was as you’d expect in a local country diner or deli. People were wonderful. Service was great. Would highly recommend.
My 8 year old daughter has celiac’s. Friends - don’t be alarmed it says “gluten sensitive”. I’ve placed now three orders and have talked each time with a manager - Frank, Ashley and Andrew.
They ensured everything was prepared properly and bagged separately for us that can eat gluten. My child DID NOT get sick. Definitely a good option , since there aren’t many, to get gluten free food!
(Oh our gluten food was awesome as well 🤣)
I love Culver's! This location does not disappoint. I appreciate their gluten free handout which was helpful. Food and desserts were wonderful and the service was great. Appreciate their price point.
The gluten free bread drew me in, the customer service and great food keeps me coming back.
Absolutely amazing customer service and attention to detail. Spot on!
Salad bar is phenomenal (especially for someone who is gluten free). The meat selection was great, something for everyone. The dessert menu looked great but not as tasty as they should have been. Flan was too heavy, cream brulee tasted a bit like play dough and the New York cheese cake tasted like cookie dough. Great salad, good dinner, meh dessert.
Yesterday, I got a takeout order and specifically told the person who took my order that the burgers and hotdogs had to be in bowls for allergies.
I have ordered food this way from this location many times with success. However, this time, my wife, who has severe celiac disease and can not eat anything that has gluten, had a terrible reaction. The only possible reason is that the food was cross-contaminated when it was being made. Something as simple as an employee not following the allergy protocols that Five Guys has in place caused a very painful experience for my wife and I.
This store needs to take allergy requests seriously!! It's very important to those of us who have medical issues!
This place is ran horribly! Friends and i were there for dinner, there was significantly more staff than customers, so you'd think they'd be on it. One person in our party wanted to be at the bar - she got 2 beers and her food before we even got to order at the table. I inquired about ingredients that I'm allergic to and the group of girls at the front acted as though it was an inconvenience and their conversation was more important. They tried giving me a Gluten free menu, but I'm not allergic to Gluten. I then attempted to get a manager to confirm the information given. I was yelled at for going on their tile floor which isn't clear that you shouldn't stand on (no signage and no staff in the patron area of the restaurant). I ended up with 3 different answers on my allergen. Nachos came out cold and the amount of attitude towards customers in this place is horrible. After 40 minutes we left and went to another restaurant next door with very friendly and competent staff.
Nice, small little local restaurant in the middle of the shopping area. Quickly sat down, but service took a bit. From what was observed, it seemed they may have been challenged with staff. The server seemed to be attending tables, the bar and orders for others in restaurant. Nevertheless, she was quick and efficient with the orders. When refills or other items were requested, she responded promptly. A Ranch and blue cheese was requested and it seemed like she had forgotten about it because she did not return with it. But, a while later she did bring it to the table and as such, there was no need to request the items again. The turkey burger was bigger than expected; nice surprise. The taste, however, was ok. Perhaps it's the turkey burger in general there isn't much that can be done as far as flavoring. While they do offer gluten-free buns, they are ran on the same conveyer belt toaster as all the other gluten products. When the server was asked for more details, she stated that they do come into contact with other buns. However, the hostes did say that she was Celiac and recommended the wings and fries because these items were gluten-free, contrary to what the server stated. The server stated that everything is fried using the same oil as items that contain gluten. Because there was two versions of what is gluten-free, only the turkey burger, gluten-free bun (not toasted) and coleslaw, was ordered. A suggestion would be to have the gf buns placed on parchment paper or a non-gluten, cross contaminated plate, so that when it is being toasted it does not come into contact with other gf products. The gf buns was big and there is an upcharg for it, just like many other establishments. The bun was not sturdy and broke apart. Perhaps it is the brand of the fact that it was not toasted. From the looks of some of the other customers, their beef products seem to be very good. Next visit, that is something to look forward to.
Basil Thai elevates Charleston's already top notch Restaurant reputation even higher.
1st, the bar is nice but not overwhelming. Good presentation and stiff enough.
Food is where this place takes flight. Scrumptious variety of Pad Thai. Gluten Free. Spicy if you request spicy.
Currys are aromatic.
Highly recommended.
The boyf and I love this Longhorn. They are always so nice to me when I ask for gluten-free items. Bartenders are always wonderful. And, after getting takeout, Sasha the cat has a new bed! (She has a big expensive bed, she just loves bags.🙄) Thank you, from me, Jeff, and Sasha cat.
P.s. yes she's wearing a Def Leppard T-shirt. This is a house of culture.....and a love for bags, apparently.
They supplied my film crew with all the brew and fixings! The staff is friendly and efficient, and always do a great job. It’s also got so many great food options for people with dietary restrictions and allergens as well! As someone who lives a sad life without dairy or gluten, there is a slice of joy here in the gluten-free, vegan (dairy free!) pastry selection.
A beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Options are definitely limited for GF. They do however have a GF/DF/V menu if you ask. I got the turkey sandwich without the bread and a side of grits. The deviled eggs and cucumber salad are really good. They have delicious oysters for a meal or appetizer. The drinks are fabulous!
Our server Kayla P. Was excellent. She asked about any food allergies. I have Celiac disease and cannot tolerate gluten. You could not ask for a better employee
It was my first time eating here, and it was worth trying it out. I am gluten-free, and the French toast, which was made with GF bread, was absolutely delicious. The turkey sausage links were good, too! Service was welcoming. The atmosphere was a good vibe. I had to wait for food for a bit to come out because it was a Sunday and extremely busy, but I still highly suggest trying the food here for breakfast or brunch.
Wait was a little long to get in, about 30 minutes after we arrived (we’d added to waitlist 2 hrs in advance and showed up on time), but they were busy. It happens.
Food was ok, service was ok. No complaints overall. Front desk hostesses seemed a bit unhappy/dismissive, which is not a good persona to give someone who spent 1/2 hour+ in your parking lot after their quoted arrival time. Wife ordered a cocktail that ended up having NO alcohol in it, so for the price they could at least add SOME alcohol in it. Place was also freezing cold.
Waitress (Zharia) was awesome. Quick, polite, and checked on us despite being really busy. She did an excellent job. I asked her about gluten free options and she was very good about it. Probably the best Texas Roadhouse server we’ve had to date.
Overall we’d come again. It was a good night.

This is the place to go for delicious, authentic Indian food! Their friendly staff, fast service, and clearly marked gluten-free menu items mean that we'll be going back soon.
