It is possible to order gluten-free Kaiserschmarrn to go, but here only a double portion. Simply call 20 minutes in advance and let us know. Really great, thank you for that!

I am going to write here from a perspective of gluten-intolerant person.
With time living with the gluten intolerance, you kind of lower your standards when it comes to eating out... or even at home, no bread tastes the same as the real deal... But OMG guys, this Pizza dough! you will find yourself questioning whether it really is GF as it tastes so amazing. Pizza Bussi Ciao is where you feel you are getting the same full flavored, perfect textured Pizza as all those lucky ones that have no strict diets. My friend and family would even share a GF Pizza with me because its just so damn good!
Kudos to the people fine tuning the GF dough until it was made delicious - you guys make us feel "normal"!
The staff is also very cheerful and welcoming, always a nice experience!
cozy, beautiful, simply wonderful! Highly recommended, especially for guests with food intolerances (e.g. celiac disease/gluten, lactose, etc.)! & there is gluten-free beer 👌🏻
This felt like a classic Viennese café experience. Although not dedicated gluten free, as you would expect, there was a range of gluten free cake available and all allergens were clearly labelled. The Mozart hot chocolate was delicious. Although it is very popular and was busy, the service was attentive and quick. We enjoyed our visit.
The food was very tasty. I particularly liked that there were also gluten-free menus, perfect for anyone with a gluten allergy. The service was very polite and attentive.

GF snitzel was 10/10 so delicious. Service was great and when asking questions regarding food choices was able to answer knowledgeable. Would recommend
I ordered a margarita pizza and garlic sticks - both gluten-free. The pizza was great, I think the dough was homemade, but at least it wasn't the ready-made base from Schär. Unfortunately the stalks were just an empty base with garlic (LOL)
For anyone with gluten intolerance: very good pasta! Pizza is also available with gluten-free dough. I'll try it next time. A very nice restaurant with friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. In summer, food can also be enjoyed in a quiet guest garden. We had a family celebration and everyone was very happy! Thank you for that!
Busy café, you have to expect a more or less long queue. Despite the many tourists, you are treated very courteously and politely. Large terrace, winter garden and several rooms. The gluten free cake is to die for.
Actually, the Vero Pizzeria in Pötzleinsdorf is our favorite restaurant (because of the nice staff, outdoor dining area, and of course the great pizza). But after moving, this branch is now closer to us - thank God the pizza is so good here too. Organic, vegan & gluten-free - simply great. Thank you 🙏
I just ordered a burger from wolt without lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and a gluten-free bun instead of the normal bun because I can't tolerate wheat and also have other food intolerances. Unfortunately the burger arrived normally and I couldn't eat it, which at this price hurts not only because of the waste of food... I won't be able to order there anymore. Too bad!
A very nice cozy pizzeria. Super nice service. The pizza tasted extremely good, the dough is great. It is also available gluten-free upon request and tastes just as good. Very good topping with mozzarella or fior di latte. But there is also vegan pizza. Would love to come back
The breakfast was so delicious, with a great selection and fresh ingredients, that we had to go there twice during our short stay in Vienna. The Matcha Latte is recommended and the prices are very fair. There are many milk alternatives and gluten-free choices.
Will come back immediately on my next stay!
Taking 2 pizzas for a quick lunch can be fine, you don't have to have high expectations, 4 stars for the vast choice of pasta and pizza and with the possibility of gluten-free, excellent service.
wow!! What great food!!
It's amazing that there are gluten-free options.
We also invited you
The pancake and also the excellent dessert!!! And we haven't seen this dessert in all of Vienna yet.
After a few days, we also decided to order the gluten-free Kaiserschmarn through the Walt from them, and it was also excellent.

I came from Graz with my mother for lunch and we were treated very kindly at the reception. In general, the service was very courteous and had the classic Viennese humor, but without being arrogant. Now to the food: My mother ordered a classic goulash, and I ordered a gluten-free chicken schnitzel due to gluten sensitivity. We were both very satisfied, the price was absolutely justified based on both the quality and the quantity. We were also both very happy with the coffee and cake. The naturally gluten-free Esterhazy, for example, was excellent, and the wide selection of newspapers was a pleasant bonus. All in all, the early afternoon at Café Hummel brought some light into rainy Vienna. We will definitely come back when we are in Vienna again!
I am a celiac disease sufferer and am pleased that there are various options for me and other allergy sufferers. The restaurant is 100% plant-based, but both the milk and oats are gluten-free. I tried the breakfast porridge and it is really good. The price-performance ratio is perfect as the ingredients are all organic and fresh.
The place is small but well-kept, and the first-class background music is particularly noteworthy

A Greek restaurant with a very varied menu and the food was excellent. Also suitable for those who eat gluten-free since the gluten-free dishes were marked on the menu and the staff knew how to answer questions about it.
Everything was a bit stressful but very friendly... I was given the allergen card straight away and Sofie was very enthusiastic. As a celiac disease patient, I ate delicious gluten-free food here. I'd love to come back...
Excellent restaurant. Interesting tasting journey, especially considering that the dishes are all vegetarian and vegan (I think also gluten free but I'm not sure, the waiters immediately ask at the beginning if there are any intolerances or unwanted foods, well done). Well balanced dishes, you can see that there is a lot of research and careful use of the ingredients. I ate more than I expected. The quality/price ratio was well above my expectations (unfortunately in Vienna a high price does not always correspond to tasty food or food prepared with care and experience). I highly recommend it, especially to vegetable lovers (vegetarians, vegans and otherwise). I will definitely return, also to discover new dishes (all strictly local and seasonal).
This comment applies to the entire McDonald's chain in Vienna, where strangely they apply a price premium when ordering the gluten-free burger menu, and this is not made clear on the self-service screen.
Tried for 2 days for the gluten free options.
Pizza with very very good dough.
Pasta also for celiacs a little overcooked but... still good seasoning.
Excellent Italian cuisine, even if a little revisited to still feel at home.
Approved
What I really can't understand is how, in 2025, there are still places that treat gluten-free with so little attention. If you say you have the gluten free option, you need to know that it's not enough to use a different dough: you need to avoid contamination, otherwise people will get sick. And instead here the gluten-free pizzas are cooked in the same oven as the others, with the same surface, the same blades, the same flour that flies everywhere. This is a serious problem, not a small detail.
Those with celiac disease cannot afford the luxury of "hoping" that everything goes well. You need expertise and care, and unfortunately both are lacking here on this front. It is a carelessness that can have important consequences, and should be addressed in a much more responsible way.
Pizza? In the norm. Nothing unforgettable. The dishes in general are well made, and the prices are honest, even below average. However, the organization leaves something to be desired: for everything there is a different queue, between waiting, confusion and lack of clarity, the result is a chaotic experience.
They pass themselves off as Italian but only the name and the menu are Italian.
It's a shame, because it wouldn't take much to really improve, but certain slights cannot be ignored.
