5 stars!
We’ve had the pleasure of dining at Nourishmoi twice now, and both experiences have been absolutely wonderful. Our first visit was at the end of March to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The plant-based dishes were delicious, the cocktails were creative and refreshing, and the owners, John and Rita, were incredibly warm and attentive. They even surprised my wife with a special birthday dessert, which made the evening feel extra memorable.
We returned recently with a group to celebrate another birthday, and once again, the food and service exceeded expectations. We tried the Beirut Bowl, Thai Peanut Bowl, Black bean tortilla soup, the 3 Amigos, Grilled Cheeze, and the Pineapple Caipirinha - everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared.
A special shoutout to the team for accommodating a guest in our group with celiac disease. She was thrilled with the number of gluten-free options, and the kitchen took great care to ensure her meal was completely safe.
Nourishmoi continues to impress with its food, hospitality, and commitment to its guests. We’ll definitely be back soon to check out the brunch. Highly recommend!
Amazing food..freshly prepared bread. Gluten free options available. Delicious taste.
The only reason i gave 4 star and not 5 is because the pasta (ordered gluten free) was under cooked.. the reason that they gave was it was because its gluten free, its texture feels like its undercooked..wasnt convinced.. coz i have had gluten free pasta before. Would have appreciated if they just accepted that it was undercooked.
I’ve been going here for years (since it opened) and I just love this place. Recently, I ordered a pre-prepared dessert platter to bring to a dinner where multiple people had food intolerances (dairy, gluten, yeast). I spoke with one of the owners and planned/costed it out. It was PERFECT and thoughtfully planned and prepared. My family aren’t all vegans but we really love the quality, wholesomeness, flavour, and care RA puts into their food. This is a real gem in our community, and I will be a customer for life.

Went with my sister and friends and we had some gluten allergy so it was great that they were acknowledge about allergies and we were able to eat there. Great experience nice staff had a great time.
I dined here on a Friday evening with my friends and had reservations in advance. We were really impressed with the service we received. Our server and the manager were very attentive to their guests. I tried the gluten free pizza which was quite delicious.
I really appreciate an Italian restaurant that can so easily accommodate gluten & dairy free.
I had a hankering for pasta and their "modified" smoked duck caprese/carbonara was just perfect.
Cozy vibes & the wait staff was lovely!!
Paige at Jack Astor’s was incredible! She was kind, proactive, and went out of her way to ensure everything I wanted to try was marked gluten-free (without me even having to ask twice). Her thoughtful service and warm attitude made my visit extra special.
The Greek Watermelon Salad and Hold the Beef black bean patty on the gluten-free bun were super yummy! I went with a side of loaded smashed potatoes this time, but next time I’m definitely taking Paige’s advice and going for the fries. Note to self: Listen to Paige 😆
If you have dietary restrictions or just need a little lift, ask for Paige!
I had an exceptional service today at Red square one! We were taken cared by Cassidy, I ordered grilled salmon and salmon was a bit overcooked. When Cassidy asked about the food, I was honest and she was extremely attentive and wanted to make it alright for me. She informed the manager who came and spoke to me, they even offered to bring another one. The sauce and vegetables were really good that were served with Salmon and I told them that it was not a deal breaker and I cook salmon often and it can be difficult in a busy setting like the restaurant. They gave us a free dessert although I couldn't eat due to it having gluten and they didn't charge me for salmon when she realized that I didn't eat it. This was an exceptional customer care experience and totally unexpected. This place is worth the visit again when I am in square one. Thank you Cassidy and the team, I forgot the name of the manager but she was also very nice and caring. Thank you ❤️
Took a friend to lunch today and I have to say it was such a great experience! The food was great and the customer service was amazing from the waitress Celina to the Manager Shiraz who made it a point to come and ensure that everything was okay as I had a gluten sensitivity. He also gave us a free dessert for an error in an order which was totally not necessary but very much appreciated. A really great experience! Will definitely go back!
Seanna has wonderful service! Very friendly and attentive. I also appreciate all the gluten free options the restaurant had for myself and my grandmother who are both celiac.
Out celebrating a graduation, my gluten free pizza was like eating cardboard. I ate a slice and threw the rest in the garbage. I will never recommend this restaurant its over priced for its quality,
I eat at the Argentina Road location often. Great burgers and fries with lots of options for toppings. I have a gluten allergy and they have amazing food preparation protocols in place when preparing gluten free food. Very friendly staff.

First time here.
We got Memphis Steak, Holly Smoked burger, and the mushroom burger.
I got my burger with the gluten-friendly bun, I felt the bun was too thick and not very fresh Other than that the burger was good. The truffle fries were great.
Regarding the service, overall it was good but we waited over 25 minutes for our meals and the restaurant wasn’t busy either.
I’m not from Canada and comparing this place to good burger places in the US I would say this was a bit pricier than expected.
Amazing burger. Staff alerted me that the sweet potato fries were not gluten free when I ordered them, got the regular fries instead. I had the gladiator burger, very filling.
This is long over due. We came on May 15 2024 and got excellent service from Chyna. She was very attentive to our needs, especially my wife's, who has celiac disease (a severe gluten allergy), as well as an allergy to shelf-fish and shrimp.
Thanks again, Chyna. Hope to see you again when we are down that way.
This is a 5+ star restaurant!
Our first time back since covid and what a treat! Lively night, food was AMAZING and our server Olivia T, was phenomenal! I have gluten and dairy allergies and she took the time to double check things for me and made excellent recommendations, not making me feel like I was annoying her like other places do . . . So much more for me to try each time we come back! She was very attentive, energetic, happy and very pleasant!!
My husband had the Lobster Mac & Cheese and said it was incredible!! (a bit of heat with the jalapeños). Enjoyed every bite! Said the best Mac & Cheese he's had! I Had the Cajun Tahini Bowl with grilled chicken and a few modifications, and it was fabulous, I would totally have it again! You should try both of these dishes, you will not be disappointed!! Oh, and the presentation . . . Wow, not what I expected given the casual feel, everything was plated beautifully.
We will totally be back weekly for sure!
Thank you Olivia for all your efforts and enthusiasm!
I should have taken a picture but it looked so good and we were starving so we started eating right away.
This place is absolutely amazing!! Our server was Susma and she was so kind and helpful! I have a lot of food allergies (gluten free, dairy free, and more) and had many questions about the menu. Susma was so accommodating to help me find foods for my dietary needs. To top it all off, the food was beyond INCREDIBLE!!! We will definitely be back!!!
Lovely neighborhood cafe, love the flat white. Also have several options for steep teas’ which my wife enjoys. Several gluten free baked goods available and everyone is always very friendly.
It’s been a while since we’ve been to a Montana’s since the one in our area had poor service. We came here after my son’s ball practice in the area. Service was fantastic from the moment we walked in. Steph was an attentive server. My son loved his chicken tenders which isn’t always the case. I had pulled pork on a gluten friendly bun - really tasty and not something I’m able to get elsewhere. My spouse devoured the All Canadian burger, said it was excellent. We will definitely come here again.
Went to this Italian place tonight not knowing what to expect was the 2 year anniversary, not only did they include us in the celebration offering free appies and a complimentary drink. Our server was fantastic . They completely accommodated my gluten free menu restrictions, made amazing suggestions . And the place was beautiful in side . Casual fine dining experience . Will definitely return
Very pleasant atmosphere to dine. Vibrant and lively in the summer ☀️. There is nothing like being by the water. The waiter was so friendly and patient with us . The mussels are really good. The Calamari was really fresh but being gluten sensitive I did not have much.
The shrimp dish was good and the trout was good as well.
Go ahead and try the frozen Marguerite it's good the only thing missing is to get some corona beer in it.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a very long time but finally got a chance too
It’s a really relaxed cafe. Lots of students just sitting down doing their work. You won’t get the ridgeway crowd here because I felt people came here for the quiet and calm.
It’ll be difficult to get a table on weekends but they have outdoor seating too so you can try your luck now that weather is getting better.
They don’t have full cream dairy option only gluten and dairy free products.
Which is why I think their latte didn’t agree with me.
I will maybe order something else next time. For me the coffee tasted like regular coffee, fair pricing so no issues there.
Will be returning if I ever want to find a quiet place to finish my book.
Friendly baristas.
We had an excellent meal here. I had the Egg White Avocado with the Matcha Latte while my dad had the Avocado Bagel Toast and my mum had gluten free grilled cheese. We also ordered fries on the side and everything we had was fantastic. Jatin was very helpful in helping us get a seat and choosing our food during a busy period while going above and beyond to clean the tables for us before we sat down. We definitely will be coming back
This place was amazing! We were visiting from the States and was looking for a place that served gluten free food. The staff was very knowledgable about Celiac and were very accommodating with the gluten free choices on the menu. The service was wonderful, and the staff checked in quite often to make sure everything was ok. The Gluten free club sandwich was awesome. The bun that it was served on was amazing and did not fall apart while I was eating. An added bonus to the meal was the fantastic Creme Brulee for dessert.
Thank you to your wonderful and knowledgable staff. They made me feel very comfortable with the food that I ordered. I wish there were more restaurants that had staff that took the time to explain the gluten free menu and understand how serious Celiac Disease really is.
This Chop location is our go-to spot for special occasions. Today, I was there with my kiddo and parents celebrating my daughter's graduation and an early Father's Day. The waiter didn't ask if we were celebrating anything, which is not great but whatever. We had to ask for the table to be cleaned after we were seated because it was dirty, also not great, but whatever. We ordered the Butcher's Board to share and asked for the steaks to be cooked medium. The ribeye was very good, cooked perfectly medium. The new york and filet mignon were both well done--nowhere near medium. We were having a late lunch and we were all so hungry and couldn't wait to eat. Also, we were seated on the patio so the server checked on us once and then disappeared. We managed to finish the meal, but did mention it to our server who said she would notify the kitchen but no effort was made otherwise. I had also asked about both gluten and dairy and was not informed that the peppercorn sauce was made with heavy whipping cream, which I only realized when I called later to ask about it because I started feeling sick. They also charged $4.50 for a Sprite that I thought was supposed to come with a kid's meal. We paid close to $300 for the meal with tax and tip for three adults and one child, but, other than the smoked rib eye, it was a disappointing experience entirely. I don't think we'll be back.
Usually I LOVE burrito boys, the Stavebank location is amazing. Unfortunately today was different, I ordered a gluten free burrito and a shrimp burrito. (P.s. shrimp burritos are amazing, would definitely buy more if you had the buy one get one free deal) Gluten free bread fell apart after the first bite, and the whole burrito was ruined, it leaked sauces everywhere. The shrimp was great, but the burrito leaked and was unusually wet and damp. It was not an enjoyable experience. Hopefully burrito boys can learn from this experience :)
Went on a warm Monday night and got a seat on the patio right away. I have Celiac disease and am always nervous to eat at new restaurants. By chance, our server Kara is also a Celiac, which literally made my night 100% better! She walked me through the whole menu and assured me she would follow up with the kitchen to make sure Celiac protocols were followed. My husband and I each had 2 tacos and a margarita, all delicious! Mine were on gluten free corn tortillas and I felt like I could actually relax and eat my food without worry, which is super rare when I’m always concerned about cross contamination when eating at a non-gluten free restaurant. Thank you Kara for taking the time for a fellow Celiac, even though you also had a massive 20 person party to also serve!
We celebrated our special family birthday- and we chose THE RIGHT PLACE. Awesome food. Great service by Tony. Little pricey but awesome for special occasions.
Food temperature and taste was just amazing.
Tony was awesome - funny, and he suggested a great gluten free meal for my niece.
Ambience...... top class.
Our group of 27 had a wonderful time at the Crooked Cue on Saturday. I have dined there before but didn't know about the many menu options available for parties. The "Canadian Buffet" was excellent. There were choices for everyone - meat lovers, gluten sensitive, and vegetarians included. John made planning the event very easy and the staff that evening did a great job - thank you Taya, Akash, Constanza, and Chef Kevin!
I visited this Burger Factory after a baseball game the other day and the staff were so kind and accommodating to my gluten allergy! I enjoyed the juicy lucy on fire and appreciated the great customer service.
I use to like this place and used them for catering a few times. But I will not be back after the service I received today.
I took a co-worker out to lunch that is allergic to gluten. We made this clear at the time of order and they ensured us that they have a gluten free option.
We paid and waited in line for 15-20 mins. The whole time there was a ton of yelling and chaos coming from the staff.
You could barely understand what they were saying?
Then finally they call my name and say sorry we gave away our gluten order?
This just burnt the most of our lunch break and they made us a salad and called it even for the sandwich?
It was a take it or leave it situation.
I know lunch rush is a busy time, and things happen out of your control. But the way they handled it was unprofessional.
I would think twice before stopping by for lunch.
Really fun spot for a nice dinner out. The decor is cool and the windows look out over the marina in the credit river. We had the mushroom risotto and the goat cheese gnocchi, cheesecake and creme brule, and all were delicious. With wine and a shared appetizer and coffee, it came out to about $100/person. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and the overall vibe was great. Lots of vegetarian options and several items had gluten free alternatives (though we didn't try those so i can't speak for them).
Almost everytime I call asking for gluten free cookies they are sold out (called 5 different times and only once did they have them) Whether it's first thing when they open, mid day, or the evening. It's sold out. I was told they were selling a smaller portion of rolo cake that was gluten free. I asked the price and they said $5. The regular slice which is really large and too big imo is $12 so I happily got the small portion. When they brought it out to me it was in a tiny mason jar container! It wasn't even filled up all the way. The portion was close to 1/4 of the size of the regular cake slice and $5! Very disappointing. Adding a photo to show the size of the container.
Recently visited this location. The raspberry gluten and dairy free cheesecake was amazing with my favorite latte with almond milk. Thank you so much for great service . You made my day 🥰
Five star Quality, Quantity and Service
This place is so good I ate most of the meal with my eyes closed as I entered a different ethereal plane of existence, that in order to get there, I had to consume inhuman amount of seafood ravioli.
Only part of this is an exaggeration. I've now eaten here twice and each time I have been utterly blown away by the experience. Tony (owner, operator and head chef) provides an experience at Sorrano's you just simply can't get at any other restaurant. Firstly, when you make a reservation he greets you by name, not "7 o'clock".
Second, when I called ahead to ask about gluten free options for my girlfriend who's celiac, he informed me that he's recently taken major steps to add gluten free/dairy free options to the menu. Tony makes a point to come over to the table to see first hand how you're enjoying the food.... and let me tell you, you're going to enjoy the food. When I say the portions are huge, I mean they're utterly preposterous. An entree at this restaurant could easily feed 3 adults.... you don't believe me? When we got home we weighted the take out container that had my girlfriends gluten free bolognese in it: it weighted 3.2lbs!
Now you're probably thinking "well I bet you paid out of the nose for this" - the answer is no! This restaurant, for all of its clear and distinct advantages, costs no more than any other place on Lakeshore in Port Credit. Name another restaurant in the area where the head chef comes to your table, where the food is so good your very existence is transported from dimension to another, and where you're left so full you can't get up from the table and you need to cart off 3.2lbs of food to take home?
Have you ever eaten at a chain restaurant and somewhere in the menu, some corporate big wig had to audacity to write "made from scratch" or "our homemade blah blah blah"? I've worked in big restaurant chains.... they're lying. My guy Tony? Yeah he made the spicy red pepper sauce from scratch, just like everything else... oh and the peppers? Yeah they're grown in his backyard.
Now I can't be sure if I'm in a sound state of mind writing this review because I can't tell if I've come down from the high of Sorrano's food, in fact, I know I haven't because we had the bolognese for lunch. But I can say, that if you're not eating at this restaurant you're doing yourself a horrible disservice.
If you've made it to the end of this review, I thank you - but more importantly - you should be calmly getting out of your chair, grabbing your coat and your keys, cancelling any appointments you may have, and messaging the group chat to meet you at Sorrano's. Your welcome.
Super cute place for brunch! Amazing service with a fantastic waiter! Great food options for gluten free. They even played music for us when we told them we were in town for a concert.
Lovely tea selection. Gluten free menu and half price large appetizers from mon-fri I think. I cannot complain. The decor is lovely. We were there at lunch so it was quiet. Had a lovely time.
Will go back.
If you're looking for a delicious vegetarian meal, Veggie Flame is the perfect spot. The restaurant offers a wide variety of vegetarian options, as well as vegan and gluten-free dishes. The food is nice, and conforting.
The pizza are huge, so a small one for 1 person is more than enough
