Based on the name and dumb puns in the menu, I really wanted to hate this palce. My coworkers convinced me to go and I was suprised how good it was.
The drinks were well made and creative, the service super attentive and the food was very good. They are attentive to food allergies and have a lot of gluten free options.
We had to wait an hour for our reservation but it was so so worth it. The food was amazing and all the staff was fantastic. Specifically the flan was insane. I have Celiac and I was so accommodated and checked on. Specifically Margaret, Mecca, and Brandon made our night. Bottom line: if you're going to a delicious and popular place on a Friday night, don't be an asshole, the staff is working hard!
a hidden gem me and my bf discovered during covid.our go to for every special occasion since 2021! while take out is good highly recommend eating in for best experience!! as an avid pasta ethusiac who is hard to please would highly recommend the bolognese sauce, tiny meatballs, penne alla vodka sauce (not spicy) love their calamari as well for an appetizer. best gluten free pasta too!! can’t even tell. bf loves his cavatelli marco pollo as well :)
I am gluten free and I am disappointed that chefs table doesn’t make anything gluten free after 1:45. I feel like this is not right especially when they close at 8pm. A different time when I came, they were sold out of gluten free bagels at 10:30am so this was the second time I was unable to order food at chefs table. I was again extremely disappointed by this.
Our server Katherine J was so sweet, knowledgeable and helpful. She was able to easily help me figure out gluten free options…they were delicious, I got the cauliflower flatbread as a bun and loved it.
I was hesitant to go to Rio Bravo last night for my birthday based on some bad reviews here but I decided to ignore them and I’m so glad I did! One in particular tears this place apart and that didn’t match my experience at all. We had so much fun!! I love the festive feel of the decor, the food was great and everyone is really nice! I had vegetable fajitas with shrimp added and they helped my friend who is gluten and dairy free choose the shrimp dish she chose. We also had the table-side guacamole which was delicious. I’m looking forward to going back soon!
The food is good but it’s ridiculous that you have to pay $4.00 more for gluten free bread, my egg and sausage sandwich that would cost. $6.10 is an additional $4.00 for gluten free bread. It’s like you are penalized for having a gluten intolerance or being celiac. You might want to average your all your price of bread in order to offer a fair price for all your sandwiches without discriminating if you are gluten or non gluten. It’s sad because the food is good and would have gotten 5 stars but the whole gluten free overpricing is crazy.
A very sweet menu. A few gluten free options, and that was my main reason for going. But the food is full of sugar. The curry was so rich and sweet I had to send it back to the kitchen. It was as if they dumped a can of coconut milk in the pot with spices and lots of sugar and a lil veg and even less meat. The salad dressing was also just sugar and oil.
Good spot. All of the dips are gluten free and several of the small plates and entrees. Had HUMMUS TAHINI, BABA GHANOUSH and SPICEY FETA. Had to get vegetable crude te since bread is not GF. Wife had the FREE RANGE CHICKEN "MASCHAN" which was really good and o had the BLACK ANGUS RIBEYE SHAWARMA which was amazing! I could have done without the parsley side. There were several dessert that were GF as well but did not partake.
I came here last night with small group of friends! For the appetizers we got the meatballs and the arancini. Both of those appetizers were extremely delicious! I got to eat the Fra Diavolo Pie! That was extremely delicious! The dishes that the other people ordered was gluten free pasta, Fra Diavolo Pie, and chicken parmigiana! All of the dishes were delicious. We got a bottle of wine to drink to! Everything was delicious from the food to the wine! I definitely recommend that you eat at this restaurant! I’m definitely coming back again!
So this was our third time here. I got the berry sangria and it was delicious. I ordered the Mexi Bowl, my boyfriend ordered the mac and cheese and we shared the pierogies as an appetizer. Their food is delicious and their menu is perfect for everybody. They also offer a variety of vegan and gluten friendly options. The menu also says they serve brunch on the weekends although we've never been there for that but I'm sure it's just as delicious. Can't wait to go back again and try something else.
Dropped in at 9.30pm on a Tuesday. Eggplant parmigiana and mussels were both good. But pricy. Almost $30 per entree but good food. They had gluten-free pasta.
I have to eat gluten free and Wake cup coffee made the best avocado toast with cauliflower crust. It was delicious and so was the coffee! I can’t wait to go back!
