Love having a great tasting burger with a DELICIOUS gluten free option!!! I am often limited on what I'm able to eat because I don't eat wheat. But this was a game changer for me!!
I had the ahi which was great. The artichoke spinach dip had a nice flavor (order bread the crackers were fine but bread would be better), the peach 🍑 lemonade was delicious...then the surprise. I took home the mushroom tortellini and had it later for dinner and the flavor was AMAZING! My daughter loved her salmon too. The have so many options for vegan & gluten free diets as well!
Great that there were so many gluten free options. Espresso drinks were great, service staff were very kind. Seating was okay- it was rainy when we went, so we couldn't sit outside but I bet that'd be nice. Highly recommend the herb/cheddar scone!
First time at the Soar Cafe. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was great! The wife has celiacs and absolutely no issues with the food and processing. Cute and historic place. Also, the water was amazing! Server said it’s from an artesian well! No chlorine taste like most city water.
Vic's Pizzeria in Olympia, Washington, is a fantastic spot for delicious pizza! Their commitment to fresh, local ingredients really shines through, and they offer a great variety, including excellent vegan and gluten-free options. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the staff are always friendly, making it a truly enjoyable dining experience. It's definitely a must-try for any pizza lover in the area!
Food was awesome!
You see the dough being spun around
Gluten-free options
Price was really good!
Pizza was HUGE
There is.ice cream here?!?! And it's GOOD?!?!?!
Really nice music, and even toys for little kids!
This is one of my favorite restaurants! Would HIGHLY recommend!
some of the best and most flavorful cauliflower wings ever!! how is the ranch vegan? it was so good! i also had the fluffernutter cookie which again was beyond great, also so surprised it was gluten and vegan! i felt so welcomed and cannot wait to come back and support a business that is passionate about what they do!! as someone with gluten, dairy and egg allergies i often eat at vegan places to avoid cross contamination, i explained this to the server and they were so excited to help me navigate the menu!
My new favorite! A group of food trucks with something for everyone. Arepa has south American street food and because the bread is all corn flour, it's naturally gluten free. A lot of new foods to try! The cubana blew my mind.
TONS of Gluten Free options here! Very friendly, very accommodating! Great foods! This is a vegan restaurant and they have soooooooo many gluten free options.
I've been gluten free for over 20 years now (before it was cool), and I can honestly say the gluten free pizza here is possibly the best I've ever had. The sourdough crust is beyond words, and the Hop Sauce absolutely SLAPS (as the young'uns say). I always appreciate a taproom that offers a wide selection of ciders and seltzers, and I wasn't disappointed by the array offered here. The atmosphere is great, and if I lived in Olympia, I'd be a regular for sure.
Such a great place right off the highway. They have many gluten free options. They know what's gf and what's not. Service was prompt and nice. I got the burger with a GF bun and the bun was not dry or did it crumble in my hands. Wish I was closer. You should eat here. Only downside is the paper towels suck in the bathroom.
DAMN! Ya’ll just out here putting all mall burger joints to shame ! These burgers have no business being this good. The quality of the drinks , waffle parm truffle fries and sauces are flavortown worthy. Get some! Great gluten free bun for burgers ! Yuzu lemonade is amazing
Went for dinner and the food was very good. The seasonal salad was well balanced, and we had incredible surf and turf and scallops for main courses. Highly recommend the shrimp scampi. Limited options for our dietary restrictions (gluten free) but the courses we picked were good. Service was a bit slow, and our booth cushions loked ragged- not quite the atmosphere we expected. Still had a good time though.
This has become one of my favorite places to grab a bite in Oly. Truly a hidden Gem! Gluten free Sammy's. I LOVE their raspberry grilled cheese with chicken added. Handcrafted shakes or juice and coffee. If you have not already you must try out this place and check out their Sanctuary outside seating. They place soundbath music. And sell cute little trinkets too.
We had a very nice meal. Everything was on point. I had the paella with fried artichokes for an appetizer. My husband had the salmon. All was really good. I love spicy food and the paella was just right for me. My husband had some because mine was enough for two! He found it also delicious but would have preferred it to be less spicy hot. So if you don’t like spicy food… don’t get the paella but I’ll be dreaming of it for days to come … it was perfect for me.
My husband is very picky about his drinks and his Old Fashioned was perfect. I had the pomegranate limeade which was delicious and refreshing.
I love that the menu was clearly marked for gluten free.
Service was fantastic!
*Gluten free and vegan options available*
Disappointed… all the reviews looked so good and I was excited to try this place. I was very articulate about my order. I asked for the avocado toast without the seasoning and on gluten free bread. I also asked for 2 poached eggs instead of the pickled beet egg.
I received one egg, poached hard. The guacamole on the bread was extremely salty. The fruit on the side was old and browning. I asked the waitress for my second egg and she said it only comes with one, but I reminded her I had asked for two and that I was fine with the extra charge. I got it and it was poached correctly, alhamdulillah.
Wait time was very long. We waited 30 minutes for our food. My grandma got a waffle which she said was “fine”.
Overall, I wouldn’t come here again.
We've always enjoyed our experiences here.
Just a heads up for GF people... the rice pilaf does appear to contain barley, which is NOT gluten free, and I did not see it indicated on the menu.
Super popular location, so if you are in a rush, consider visiting just before or after the lunch hours as they are seemingly always slammed. The staff are a mix of really dynamic personalities and lackluster folks just there for a paycheck. For the most part, they are fantastic. I frequent this place and my only wish is that they offer more gluten free options and label the ones they do have. Once, I overheard an employee tell a customer that certain holiday cookies were gluten free, but there was no way to know to ask that. If you need to customize your order, I recommend you go inside. The drive thru is next to a busy street and the staff often struggle to hear over the road noise, especially on rainy days.
Love this place. Everything about it.
A great casual breakfast place and friends' meetup spot for a bite of good food.
I think they have more than breakfast?...look it up!
The home fries...crispy on all sides!
The Benedict...excellent ham, homemade and spectacular Hollandaise.
The poached egg...solid whites and perfect runny yolks (super fresh egg) to soak into my optional gluten free toast
French toast looked scrumptious and the biscuits looked excellent....next time!
The staff and owner...warm.and kind.
The weekend wait?...coffee and cups and cream await you..no begging the busy staff...go pour yourself a cup and chat or people watch or stare at your shoes. BITS is worth the wait.
We ordered a take out gluten free pizza. They offer one size. Cost $24.00. Plus 15% tip. Pizza was the size of a personal pan pizza with four small slices. The two of us were still hungry when we finished. They put the pizza in a large box and were shocked when we got home and opened the box and saw the actual size of the pizza. Won't be ordering from BCP again.
The service was great, and although we eat gluten-free, dairy free, and vegetarian, the wait staff suggested a delicious portobello steak. Greatest view in Oly!
Welcome environment and quick to grab a bite for lunch on a work break. I got the hot Pear ham sandwich on a gluten-free bun, and it was good. My only complaint was way too heavy on the mustard it overpowered everything. Next time, I will ask for light sausing. Overall 4/5 rating, and I'll visit again. They are pricing. I paid $15 for one sandwich.
Had the annie burger with gluten free bun. Unfortunately got so sick the next morning I believe this was not a gluten free bun. Celiacs beware. Service was excellent though and all other food was good for the family.
This was my first time here. I may return but my expectations aren't too high. The group I was with was satisfied with their meals, especially the beignets. They did look very tasty! That being said, I have celiac and am limited in food choices. The person who planned this event chose Octapas because they had gluten free options. Actually there were 2 options. One was huevos rancheros, that is what I chose, hard to mess it up. Boy was I wrong. The good first, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the few bits of cheese were authentic. The not so good, my plate and meal were cold, the beans were strained before putting them on the plate so now were dry(and cold), I swear the sauce - which should be a ranchero sauce with a flavorful Chile taste and aroma- came right out of a can labeled tomato paste. It had some dried green herbs sprinkled on it... and did I mention it was cold. There was no rice or potatoes - as is customary with huevos rancheros. I finished it quickly but left hungry. There is another gluten free options on the menu... I may try it, hope it isn't cold. The server was very attentive and checked on us often. The atmosphere was very nice and we all appreciated the artwork on the walls.
I liked their ceviche and had a nice mint cocktail that I'd recommend. The portions vary a lot. I got the diavola prawns and it was enough to share while my partner got street tacos that were much smaller. The tortillas were freshly made, so get the corn ones!
Atmosphere is kitchy. There's a taco truck parked inside that's part function part decor. Not fancy. Laid back. Good for a dressed down kind of night. Not too loud.
Kids would be ok here although there's a bar partitioned off. Patio looked appealing for warmer weather.
There were good gluten free options. My partner got street tacos that fit for gluten free dairy free.
Staff were very helpful about the food allergies. Not as attentive to timing with the bill. You may need to be a bit more visible and ask for your check. Parking was easy. It's just off I-5.
Beautiful view, excellent dinner, and top notch service. Sarah, our waitress, was nothing short of attentive and accommodating. She seated us in a spot my girlfriend spotted upon entry. They ran out of Seared Sea scallops; however, the Elk Duet, was my girlfriend's second choice - she said it was delightful. I am gluten free and vegetarian - the salad, red rice and lightly sauteed vegetables were exactly what I needed to complete our evening. Overall, our meal, view, and service was top notch and worthy of return visits.
Love this location much more than the Tacoma Proctor district location. Visited today on our way to Oregon with my husband and two little boys. This has a much more welcoming energy, smaller, outside seating only. Our barista was a pleasure to talk to, so personable, helpful and kind. She was my ideal barista. I wish I had caught her name to give her kudos for being a bright light in our day. The coffees are perfect and the treats are a great pairing. I appreciate they have gluten free and gluten free + vegan options. Thank you!

Excellent atmosphere, friendly, thinly spread service…food can be 10/10 or 5/10…a mixed bag. Beechers Chicken should never leave the menu, whereas the Brisket Ragu had entire bites of “meat” that were 100% fat. The fondues are incredible….but if you can’t get indoor seating I’d skip it. Hot air blasted at your forehead, while the rest of you freezes. I do love that there are gluten free options….and the servers are very warm but we had empty glasses and it took three passes before we were able to successfully get the bill…no offer of dessert but at that point we were DONE DONE. Lots of empty tables so they shouldn’t have been swamped…but we were ready for a self help kiosk by the end.
I like Mod Pizza. It's thin and crispy crust is perfect for not making you feel over gluten burdened. The sauce is tasty and I feel like the amount of toppings and cheese are always on point. This is the first time I've been to this new location. The restaurant was clean and empty. I was immediately greeted by the young gal behind the counter. Very friendly and eager to make my pizza. I got a Hawaiian with Feta kids sized pizza, which was the perfect size for my appetite. I must say, they are expensive. But, I don't frequent this area often so it was a fun and tasty splurge. The music was also at a decent level and both the young people working were friendly, and hustling when the place started getting busier. Nice job!
I go to Oregon but once a year and go out of my way for the Fatso's burgers. I had their tomato basil soup with it this time. It was so delicious that i bought another cup to go. Everything is Celiac safe. I wish they were everywhere!
