If you’re looking for great gluten free food, this place is where it’s at! Their pizza is so good! It’s a beautiful place and at a great price. Can’t wait to go back.
We absolutely love Mellow! Never a bad experience and the food is always top notch! I have celiac and it’s one of the few places where I can eat safely and actually enjoy the food too! Their gluten free pizza is the best I’ve had at any restaurant
Great, as always. Really enjoyed their gluten-free pizza. Didn't have a reaction at all, not even a little, which is a first, even for gluten-free pizza.
NOT GLUTEN FREE!
This place is on the lower side of mediocre. The store is dirty. The windows were disgusting, and the sneeze shield hasn't been cleaned in months.
If you're gluten free due to celiac or other medical conditions, do not eat here. The cross contamination is very heavy.
The pizza tasted good, but the service was pretty horrible. The slices were cut extremely uneven which demonstrates a lack of care for the product.
I recently visited Another Broken Egg Cafe in Huntsville, AL, and I was thoroughly impressed! As a vegetarian, it can be challenging to find good options when dining out, but this restaurant exceeds the expectation. They have an entire vegetarian menu, and they’re very accommodating about making adjustments to items on the regular menu as needed. They also have a gluten free menu.
We went early on a Sunday morning, before the crowd that often comes prior to church services. The place was quiet and peaceful, which made for a very enjoyable dining experience.
I ordered the Southwest Scramble, removed the meat, and added spinach and mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious! To enhance the flavor, I requested sour cream and hot sauce, which were the perfect finishing touches. The breakfast potatoes were a standout—perfectly crisp and wonderfully seasoned.
As someone who loves lemon in my water, I was thrilled when my waitress brought me plenty, just as I requested. She was very attentive, promptly refilling our drinks and water throughout the meal.
There was a small mix-up when someone at our table ordered an item not realizing it included bacon. The mistake wasn’t the waitress’s fault—it was ordered incorrectly—but she still apologized sincerely and replaced the dish quickly without any hassle.
While the food and service were fantastic, it’s worth noting that the meal was a bit on the expensive side, costing about $20 per person. However, the quality of the food and the excellent service made it a special occasion option.
Another Broken Egg Cafe is a great spot for a delicious breakfast or brunch, especially if you’re looking for vegetarian-friendly options.
Visiting from the Little Rock area. We had a reservation for another restaurant and didn't want to wait, so we came here. I'm so glad we did! I had a great gluten free club and the salad bar was all fresh. The staff was SO friendly! I'm kinda sad I don't live here!
There’s a reason you’ll see people lined up for a table on the weekend. No brunch place competes with Another Broken Egg. The food is cooked with love and huge portion sizes. I recommend the Sunrise Scrambler and the City Potatoes. Brooklyn was the literal best server we have ever had. She made sure to offer us options with my gluten allergy and our drinks never ran dry
Always an excellent experience at The Curry! Friendly staff, delicious food that makes your body feel good after. I've had most everything on the menu and it's all so good.
Their lunch buffet is excellent!
They have excellent dietary accommodations. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, have a nut allergy, or whatever the case may be, they're able to accommodate. It's a favorite place of mine to bring friends and family for that reason.
Methi Malai Matar with Paneer is my personal favorite.
The food pictures and rating is why I decided to try this place. It did not disappoint! Food was fresh and well seasoned. I had the Harvest bowl and if you struggle with gluten or wheat or have diet restrictions...I feel they do a great job of accommodating! The place was clean and the guests and servers were nice. This was my first visit to Alabama and Huntsville and I will be back. Thank you, you have a pleasant establishment.
This may be the best coffee in Huntsville! I used to stop at Honest in Nashville and was thrilled when they opened one up in my hometown. This is high quality coffee that I only take away the star for how expensive it is, and the charge for a non-dairy milk.
As someone with dairy sensitivity and a husband with a severe dairy allergy, it is frustrating when places that are already pricy charge extra for something you cannot go without.
Other than that, the vibe here is so cozy and is always busy. I love that they also carry some Mason Dixon gluten free pastries!
While I can’t afford it daily, this is always a fun stop when I want a special coffee.
They don’t answer their phones, which is disappointing and if you do a pick up order they make you give them your card number to order it? I asked why and told her I was on the road and couldn’t give a card number and she said she would get in trouble for doing that? So if you are busy and prefer to pay in person, you will need to pay up front for a take out order- never heard that before. Silly rule. Shows they don’t trust their customers to pick up the food. The lady I spoke to was kind of rude too, put me on hold multiple times. The food is amazing though and I think this makes up for the poor service and the way they treat their customers. If you ask for gluten free pizza, it’s a smaller size and they don’t offer a lot of other options. Seemed like an inconvenience to even ask for gluten free. I called on a Friday afternoon to pick up dinner and the phone kept going to voicemail. You also can’t do an online order.
Melt is always delicious. Comfortable environment. The food is very good. And a huge bonus is that they have gluten-free bread so we can have gluten-free sandwiches. We even had gluten-free avocado toast. That is a big win!
I ate the smash-n-stack burger with no bun (gluten allergy). That burger tasted so good! I was really surprised! Highly recommend and will be going back soon.
I love the hot sandwiches here. The have very good bread options, even gluten free. And kids eat free on Fridays from 5 to 9. They have Stubborn cream soda and root beer. Super good. Staff was friendly and the dining room was clean.
This place rocks! I ordered the nachos BBQ Pork and the cook came out to talk to me about the sauce having possiblw gluten. He too has celiac and made sure it was gluten free for me! I love the sauce on the asparagus for the nachos! Great people and great food!!!
Khristian was incredible. So attentive to such a large group. Loved her. Great service, great food, amazing margs. The staff was incredibly attentive to gluten allergies. I could have the tater tots, chips and guac, etc.
Absolutely fantastic!!! BEST gluten free bun I’ve ever had!!! Buttered and grilled it and it made all the difference. I had a cheeseburger and my husband had the smokehouse burger. Both were great. Hot crispy fries with several fry salts to choose from. Love the topping bar for the burgers. Seating is limited but it was fine for us.
Meat was good. They give you a thimble of sauce and want you to pay extra for more. My boys didn’t like the boiled peanuts. Unfortunately, I don’t return to places that batter their fries. There is no reason to put breading on a perfectly good potato. It soaks up more oil, adds gluten, and ruins the flavor. I hope they change this menu item. I will be happy to return when they do.

The salads are delicious (gluten-free falafel is my favorite!) There’s some difficulty navigating the menu with food allergies. I had one great experience and one that left me less-than-confident about the staff’s awareness of food allergies. The manager followed up to tell me the -only- gluten-containing item on the menu is pita chips/strips. Evidently even the soy sauce on the tofu is gluten free (a rare, thoughtful touch). I’ve edited my one-star review to reflect the follow-up; now I’m just wishing for ingredient labels in the store. The falafel will probably draw me back in.
Cute little cafe with great breakfast, latte, and tea options. Someone mentioned that this cafe has options for everyone (vegan, gluten free etc.) which is not quite true. There are meatless breakfast entrees but if you are a meat eater minus pork, the options are a little limited. Because Egg Daddy sound so tempting, I ordered it as it and removed most of the bacon strips and it was pretty good. My mocha latter was ok, not as sweet as I anticipated but still not bad. The staff was very friendly and eager to provide great customer service.
I would return to this location if Im ever in that area.
Fabian our server was awesome, took care of us well. I am gluten free and Ryan the manager came over to the table and has the chef make a great modified gluten free dinner.
I can’t get enough of this place! Every time I visit Huntsville I am sure to stop in The Cozy Cow. I’m gluten free and I love all of the dietary options they serve.
My family at here everyday night except for Wednesdays because of the employees going to church…TWO YEARS OF DELICIOUSNESS. Also gluten free options and it’s pretty much right by so much shopping. It’s always a great place.
Quesadillas are great and the chocolate muffins are AMAZING….(if you can get there before they sell out 🤩)
Love the superhero theme! The food was really good and came out pretty quick. Even had a delicious Gluten Free Waffle! I will say, the coffee was not good at all, which was disappointing. But all the yummy food made up for it. My son loves superheroes and thought it was such a cool place!
4 and a half stars.
I love everything about Biscuit Belly except the price. The food is excellent. By its name, it obviously advertises good biscuits, and I can't say that's true...the biscuits are outright addictive and probably some of the best I've ever had in my life! If you visit, be sure to order an extra biscuit to go, even warmed up. They're excellent! As far as the menu goes, it has something for everyone. Even my friend, who's gluten-free, can order a delicious breakfast/brunch here. Yes, they specialize in both breakfast and brunch as they're open till 2 or 3 pm, usually.
A lady waiting with me in line the other day asked if I had been there before wanting recommendations. I told her I was a regular, but giving a recommendation is almost impossible as everything on that menu is a hit! It all comes down to your preferences. If you like a certain something, they've got it or something like it!
The only real downsides I can say about the Carl T Jones location in Huntsville is the parking in that area of the strip mall has limited parking so you may have to walk a tad to get parking on really busy days but it's not that far a walk. They seriously need to remove that little grass grass area that makes the parking lot inconvenient, in my opinion. They can have more space if they do. You'll know what I'm talking about and why it's a design flaw when you visit.
The other downside is price. Although the food portions are plentiful, they're on the high side. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit & a small soft drink last time I went, and it came out to $17 (with or without a $5 tip, I can't remember). However, again, you won't leave hungry as portion sizes are very generous.
Those are the only things I can really find to complain about lol. It's really great, and I highly recommend you try them!
*they do serve limited alcoholic beverages. Most are liquor and additions to drinks like hot cocoa or iced coffee type drinks.
I went here for a trivia night. It was cold outside but they had a bunch of heaters & that helped a lot. I was pleasantly surprised to see gluten free chicken tenders on the menu. They were amazing and crispy! I also loved their drink selection and their staff was very friendly. My only complaint would be that the backless stools they have are pretty uncomfortable after a while, especially on a cold night.
