The atmosphere is great right in the centre of surfers paradise. The menu has quite a few options with the possibility of changing to gluten free pasta. Pizza isn't suitable for anyone intolerant/ allergic to gluten or coeliac as it's made in the same oven as the regular breads and pizza. The cocktail menu is extensive and fun. The price is good for the quality of food and drinks.

Caught up with our friends at Salt Meats Cheese and we had a great night. Our first time there and their second. The service was outstanding, the venue location lovely and the food terrific! I had the Seafood Linguini pasta and asked for gluten-free. I was offered the same dish but with GF penne. It was outstanding! So wonderful to be able to get a tasty GF pasta at an Italian restaurant. Very happy. I also had the zucchini flowers. Not GF but I was able to cut around the dough and eat the zucchini which was also so beautifully cooked and not over flavoured. The waiter recommended the chianti. It was so fabulous I had 2 glasses! Very enjoyable evening and despite being on a First Table discount, the staff did not ask us to leave by a set time. We will be returning. Thank you.

The best service and food this side of everywhere. We asked for gluten-free and the waitress asked if I was coeliac, we said yes then she was very careful and patient and asked the kitchen twice for clarification. Our meals were served quickly, hot and very tasty. Well done. We will be back for lunch on Sunday.

The pancakes were the best I've ever had! (Its hard to get good gluten free pancakes but these were incredible). Didn't love the coffee, thought it was a little bitter but everything else was amazing 🙌 😀

Taccy Italian playlist aside (Like someone just searched Italian dinner on Spotify), this is some seriously good Italian food. Home made gluten free pizza and pasta, the pizza as good as any I have had, measured against Melbourne’s best. Pasta was also excellent. $120 for 2 glasses of wine, a GF pizza and GF pasta (on a public holiday) but worth it. All staff provided friendly, excellent service. Recommend. - Modified as I had the price per person incorrect.

I ordered a gluten-free pizza takeaway. It was tasty, with a generous serve of toppings. Unsure if it was because of the walk back to the apartment, but I found the base to be ever so slightly doughy. The next day I had the left-overs straight from the fridge and I couldn't detect the doughiness at all then. The pizza was great the next day, actually. Would eat from here again. My friend got a regular base pizza, and said that it was really good. Would also eat from here again.

Completely unfaultable. I eat A LOT of pizza, and this was by an absolute mile the best I have ever had. As someone who also has a lot of difficult allergies (gluten, onion, garlic), the staff were incredibly helpful and went through all the ingredients with me! The gluten free pizza bases were incredible, you wouldn't even know they were gluten free, the staff we so lovely and helpful. Please open a branch in Christchurch? 😂

Truly a 5 star+ experience for Buffet Breakfast at Citrique yesterday morning. Have been a number of times before and it just gets better and better. Food so fresh and tasty and beautifully displayed, and such variety. And service professional, warm and prompt. Love the detail of the décor eg Gluten Free signage incorporated into fixture. I had the pleasure of working for ITT Sheraton/Starwood/Marriott for the majority of my career, and I have had the privilege and enjoyment of experiencing many of the group’s hotels and brands over the years, and JW Marriott Gold Coast - and breakfast at Citrique - are definitely right up there amongst my faves. I love this hotel (which was transformed in 2020/2021 from a Marriott to the Luxury brand JW Marriott) and look forward to returning again and again.
