They had a lot of freezer items, and different shapes of gluten free pastas, which was nice to see. There were also a lot of lovely baked goods in the case.
I read that they had GF beaver tails, so that's why I came. I was excited to try my first beaver tail (newcomer to Canada). When I got it, it was slightly warm on the edges, but refrigerator-cold and damp in the middle. My partner told me they are usually fried, so it should have been piping hot. It was disappointing.
I was thinking about getting a sandwich, but overheard someone ask about getting pasta, but it would have taken 40 min for that. Surprising, since they use the dried pasta they sell to make it.
I had some questions about items, but felt dismissed and almost belittled by the answers. I was off-put by the rude tone, and combined with my disappointing menu item, won't be back.
I'm sure it's fine if you're just going for cookies or frozen goods, but some other folks and myself were wondering if someone was actually there. It took quite some time for the owner to come out from the back. Not sure if that's the norm- maybe they were short-staffed, but don't go unless you have lots of extra time to spare.
Me and my friends absolutely love this place!! We come here regularly and are always super happy with our food/service! The portion sizes are very generous and the quality is always spot on. I got the croffle lunch sandwich and it was absolutely phenomenal!! Isabella was our server and she did an amazing job! She deserves all the hype!! She was very kind, attentive and accommodating:) One of my friends has celiac and they have really good options for gluten allergies (she got the waffle away breakfast)!
Gluten free pizza was very good. Mushrooms on salad were overcooked and we asked for no cheese on one dish and initially it was served with cheese. They took it back without question and replaced it. They listened and thanked us for the feedback. Very good attitude by staff. I would come back and recommend
I was running late one day so l stopped at Hero Burger at Weston rd and hwy 7 and I was really impressed that gluten free buns were available there. The people working there are just amazing very friendly always smiling. Their burgers are so delicious. After that I was stopping there about 3 times a week to pick up burgers. Now I actually Call them before l go and they recognize my voice and when I get there my order is ready. I've been doing this for the last year now and the burgers are always amazing and delicious. Thanks to everyone who works at Hero Burger at Weston and hwy 7 you guys are awesome .
I wish I discovered this place sooner. Stopped by with one of my partners for a late night meal. The atmosphere is GREAT. Italy or Toronto?? Felt very at home and welcomed here.
The pizza was GREAT. The pasta was GREAT. And by far the BEST gluten free pizza dough I’ve had yet (Ive had them all).
The service from Tom was exceptional. He took his time to find us a nice table, point out whats popular and his recommendations was phenomenal.
We will definitely be back!
Thank you to Tom and the entire Goodfellas Woodbridge family!

Came in on a Saturday a few minutes before closing and got the most welcoming service one can hope for.
The food was fresh, and very flavourful. Ordered 4 different dishes and each one tasted different.
The gluten free pizza was excellent!
A true hidden gem!
We stopped by before a business meeting to celebrate my partner’s birthday and were lucky to have the place to ourselves. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with an open kitchen concept that made the experience feel extra special. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive — the service was top-tier.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. We ordered the shrimp tostada (a must-try!), the lamb, and the hen — all perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Even the starter salad was memorable, with incredibly fresh ingredients. Every dish was a solid 10/10.
To top it off, they surprised us with a gluten-free, dairy-free brownie to celebrate the birthday — a thoughtful touch that meant a lot, especially with my dietary restrictions. They were so mindful and accommodating. This spot checks all the boxes for me — can’t wait to come back!
Meh! Thank you for reading and responding to my quick comment. I chose the ground beef nachos because I am allergic to gluten. The portion was large, but they were salty for my taste and just run-of-the-mill bar fare. The dish was not bad, but I expected something more interesting that would align with the Jack Astor reputation.
This is a small shop in Woodbridge and looks unassuming at first.
I ordered the fresh bun with the OH MY COD! As the protein. Oh my cod is a crispy deep fried cod using gluten free batter.
I also made it a combo so it came with pop and sriracha powdered fries.
For sauce I got the avocado crema and the signature southeast. And got everything for the toppings.
The order did take some time to make since they are a small shop with catering orders and like 6 other customers.
The sandwich is so big that you can easily split it with someone or take it to go for another meal.
The bread to filling ratio is perfect! The bread was thin but just enough to hold everything together. The flavours is so amazing as well!
The fries were the highlight in my opinion. It was so good! Especially when dipped with the chipotle sauce.
Overall, I really enjoyed this restaurant and I love the food. Would definitely come here again if I’m in the area. Also the food is pretty good value for its price point.
We were 3 ladies out for lunch. Person 1 celiac and gluten free, Person 2 chromes & colitis and Person 3 diverticulitis. The server was amazing . We advised her of of dietary needs and she offer ed suggestions. They served a board of gluten free foccaci & olives to start.it was tasty. Person one had grilled chicken on a bed of polenta. Person 2 had gf pasta & chicken and Person 3 had gnocchi with red sauce. We were so pleased we all found something to enjoy off the menu. It was also one of the only restaurants open on a Monday in the area. Thank you for contributing to a successful ladies lunch. We will return again.
Pancakes were divine - a bite of heaven. I had the gluten free pancakes and was surprised at how good they tasted! Can’t wait to come back and try the other options
The BEST Pizza Nova in all of Canada. I have been coming here for over 10 years. Andrew and his staff are amazing. Andrew always makes my day. They always make sure you are satisfied with your order. I have become gluten intolerant and their gluten free crust is delicious. I recommend this Pizza Nova to everyone!
My husband and I went this evening for our 1st time. We celebrated his birthday. We were both super impressed with the atmosphere and service.
I have Celiac and they do an amazing job and make you feel welcome comfortable and welcome..
Thanks to Jacob our fantastic server and the managers Luke and Jordan.
We will be back!!
Really good the waitresses are really friendly and the food is always amazing, I really enjoy their all day breakfast. Even more they have gluten free options and buckwheat crepes.
Excellent food with Gluten free options!! Chef is always on point. The people that work there are really friendly and attentive. Susie always greets us with a warm smile. The place is immaculate. Pride of ownership for sure. A 5 start is not enough 😀 😀😀👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Spent Mother’s Day at Forty 40 with 28 family members. Food was fantastic, options for everyone including gluten free. Lobster, lamb chops and the risotto was delicious. Patio was open, and set up beautifully. Would absolutely return for another occasion.
The entire staff is absolutely wonderful. Special thanks to Alexia for helping me figure out what is gluten free. Definitely will be returning food and service was great!

My friends and I were looking for a place to eat and stopped at Earls. The restaurant closed at 12 am and we arrived by 11 pm. The hostesses informed us that the wait could take up to 30 min. Ten minutes later we were sitted. The waitress looked at us from the kitchen and complained to one of her friends that we had just arrived. She was the least welcome person I had seen and took our orders in a rush as the kitchen would close at 11.45 pm. We ordered fries to start and our dishes. The one I chose wasn't available so I had to pick something else. Right after that the fries and my dish arrived at the same time. My friends food took over 10 minutes to arrive and one of the dishes was a salad. The salad came with croutons, wich were not mentioned in the menu, and my friend, who is gluten intolerant, could not even eat her food, and at that point was too late to order something else. They took our drinks and they didn't ask if we wanted refills. The food was very average and my dish, that was a tortellini, had fettucinni pieces in it. Overall this was one of the worst experiences we had in the recent times in a restaurant. We won't be coming back and I don't recommend. There are better places in the premisses.
I recently hosted our work holiday party here. What a wonderful evening! Thank you to all of the staff, we had such a lovely evening.
We were a large party of over 20 with a set menu. All of the food was delicious and offered our guests many options including Vegan/ Vegetarian, and gluten free. Can’t wait to return for the amazing truffle pizza. Special thanks to Bruno
This place is truly amazing. I attended a party on Saturday February 17, 2024. It lives up to its name. The food was fantastic. They took into consideration my gluten free and allergy restriction diet. They made sure nothing was cross contaminated. They were on point. The servers were always available and took care of everything with a smile. Even with 20 people at our table they treated everyone with care. The musical talent was out of this world and it was a wonderful atmosphere. Worth the dining experience.
Great pizza, same great taste like always. They even have gluten free options. The women that usually helps us is very sweet and friendly. Sometimes wish they had more slice options available when I come in but it’s usually not a long wait, especially if they are making a fresh one.
The owner and her son are very nice. The service was great and the food was flavourful. It accommodated my gluten free allergy.
Will definitely will be back!
Your general sports bar with your basic eats. Everything we got at our table (4 different dishes) was mediocre at best to the point where those who had leftovers didn't want to take it home. We had servers switch and at some point and a drink order was missed. The facility itself is very clean and pleasant enough to eat in with enough screens to watch whichever sporting event is on. Also, the lack of gluten free options was a bit disappointing.
We visited That's Italian after reading great recommendations on a local Facebook group. The staff were friendly and our antipastos were delicious. However, when our meals were brought out we were told the gluten free pizza would take a few extra minutes which was fine. But four of us had finished our meals, and the fifth person still hadn't received her gluten free pizza. We were told by 3 different waitresses "it's coming right out" in a span of 20 minutes. When I personally went up to ask the waitress about the pizza, she had checked with the chef who stated it would be another few minutes. At this point it had been 1 hour and 20 minutes since our order was entered into their system, and we were still waiting for one meal. The waitress mentioned she could give us a free dessert, however I asked if she could just do a bill discount instead since we had to leave & we were all full. She explained that the gluten free pizza has to be made separate which I completely understand and I appreciate the effort that's put into their allergy precautions, however 1 hour and 20 minutes is a little absurd. After she checked with the chef, she stated he's only willing to offer a dessert but due to the amount of time we'd had already been waiting, the waitress said she'd pay for the gluten free pizza herself. It's disappointing that the waitress could only provide this option by paying out of pocket. We were also there to celebrate a birthday, which was told to the staff who greeted us at the door but no celebration or anything was made, as they mentioned they'd do.
Great first experience at Bevi. I got a focaccia chicken parm and their gluten free focaccia to- go to make at home at a later date. Their focaccia truthfully we found really salty, I hate to say not our favourite in comparison to the many quality made from scratch ones we’ve had. Their gluten free focaccia was great! I really enjoyed that. Really hard to find actually. I’d be back to try some more menu items.
Good tasting food, good service. They were very amiable, and helped ensure whatever we ordered had gluten or not because of gluten-free family member.
But it's pricy considering the serving size.
Excellent excellent gluten free pizza!
Really the best gluten free pizza you will find!
I had just cheese and had to ask again if it really was gluten free.
You need to try it!
The veal sandwich I was told was good, not the best, and not the biggest sandwich!
You order your food at the counter and if you eat in they will bring it to your table.
Overall good place.
