Great place, I am gluten-free (intolerant, not just a pain). The service food and atmosphere were excellent. They have a ramp for wheelchair access, which is great as I am fully wheelchair dependent. So in short, if you are looking for something different, I highly recommend here.

Beautiful old building with original ornate features and old world charm. Serves gorgeous food, caters for gluten intolerances and other allergies. Cosy nooks for reading/ working. Lounge and cocktail areas as well as mezzanine tables overlooking the main open bar area. Staff were super friendly and they are dog friendly too! Absolutely recommend you give them a visit if you find yourself dawdling about Bristol central.

Went there last Saturday, had the caramelize onion and brie burger with chips on a gluten free bun. Flavours were good but not the best gluten free bun. The music that night was so good, a mix of 90s jams and disco, but how could you skip mmmbop and mambo number 5 🤣. Will definitely be back again.

Great reasonably priced food. The staff were attentive although a little slow when it got busy (understandable but probably could have done with another member of waiting staff). Good atmosphere as was full and everyone seemed to be having a nice evening and enjoying the food. Will definitely return when going to the hippodrome as it is situated just across the road. Also has reasonable selection of gluten free options.

Incredible food, lovely vibe inside, and a wonderful host. We loved the concept of the restaurant, we went during Cape Verde and really enjoyed the specials and main menu. The cocktails were great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really chill and quirky. I’d recommend the lamb cutlets and the creamy mushrooms - so tasty! I was massively impressed by the large amount of gluten free options on the menu. Almost everything was gluten free or has the ability to be at no extra cost which I find so helpful. We will definitely visit again! Thank you for a lovely time :)
