Lots of different options, veg, beef, chicken, most are gluten-free. I decided on the kimchi krunch bowl, fresh ingredients, good taste and everything worked well together. The staff was very friendly. Side note- I've been going to a lot of restaurants lately(despite what you're told, I'm not rich. I just travel a lot for work) and the dining areas have been a mess! I don't understand it... wipe a table down! No different here.. I did enjoy watching the doordash desperado gang out front. Despite the messy, I still recommend you stop in!

Everything here is fresh and delicious. So efficient and comfortable, and everyone who works here is so nice. Great place to work during the day or grab a meal with friends. So many options if you have a crowd with different preferences/restrictions and accommodates allergies (like gluten). Love!
Chill and cozy vibes make this spot perfect for winding down after a long day, with quick service and impressive quality for great prices!

After 3 days of hiking all over the District of Columbia we found ourselves in the dim, cool confines of Absolute Noodle and sushi. Wonderfully friendly staff seated and took care of us throughout the visit. Plenty of gluten-free options, I opted for the choo chee salmon, which was delicious. My wife got the crispy chicken basil and said it was the best version of the dish she's ever had. Our daughter practically inhaled the sushi.
Experience a vibrant blend of flavors and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for food lovers looking for an unforgettable time.

Very good experience, with lots of vibrant flavors. Our group is hard to please, and they did a fine job of providing tasty dishes for the gluten-free and the siliac and the pescatarian in our nerry little band 😀

I had a delicious meal here this weekend. They have a gluten free menu and it is much more limited than their regular menu but there were still very tasty options. I had the winter salad, the kimchi jjigae and the 30 day kimchi side. It was delicious! I also enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Fun place!
A serene escape in downtown D.C. with plenty of seating for studying or chatting, plus a great tea selection to unwind.

A great spot for a quick bite to eat or for settling down to study / work / chat with a nice pot of tea! Sandwiched between a row of the Smithsonians and Ford's Theatre, Teaism is a breath of calm, fresh air in the hustle and bustle of downtown D.C.'s tourist attractions. It's a wonderful, quiet spot to study or have a long chat with someone without being interrupted or feeling rushed by a constant stream of people. The few seats upstairs tend to be a bit busier with guests coming in and out, ordering at the counter, or picking up food / dropping off dishes; however, they have a huge downstairs section with a bunch of seating where you'll be completely undisturbed.
I love how expansive their tea menu is, and the staff is super patient and friendly; they're happy to help you decide which of their many hot / iced teas to go for (as well as list out a number of back-up options for your next visit)! The hot tea comes in a small teapot, and you can enjoy 5-6 cups. If you're in the mood for food, Teaism also has a number of affordable and tasty dishes, including their bento boxes. I'm a huge fan of their Grilled Salmon Bento, which centers on a perfectly grilled fillet of salmon, which pairs delightfully with their citrusy yuzu dipping sauce. It comes with their classic bento sides -- broccoli with another citrusy sauce, miso sweet potatoes, and a hearty scoop of brown rice. The sides rotate every now and then based on the season, but every single one is incredible. To round out the meal, their Hempheart Cookie, despite sounding terrifying, is not only gluten-free, but also delicious -- it's not overly sweet (and has absolutely no hemp flavor), and I love the dried cherries.
All in all, Teaism is a great spot if you just need a quiet place to decompress from all the tourism, chat with a friend, or work / study. They have a fantastic selection of tea, as well as a tasty and relatively cheap selection of food items. Teaism has definitely made it onto my usual rotation of quick lunch spots / weekend stops, and I can't wait to come back and try out more of their wonderful teas!

The shop was SUPER loud and crowded, so I expected the food to be amazing. They had a gluten free order form, but no gluten free sauces or meats (just tofu or egg), so my bulgogi bowl really lacked flavor. My mom enjoyed her bowl, but the portions seemed small for the price.
Excellent pho. My wife has celiac disease and they dont use any gluten containing ingredients in their broth. Very nice little patio. We will be regulars.

We celebrated a friend's birthday here and everything was so delicious. We were especially grateful for how thoughtful and helpful the staff was for my friend's gluten allergy (she is celiac). Great spot for anyone, but definitely gluten-free friendly :)

Loved this dining experience! Nigiri was perfect and room temp, which made it melt in your mouth. We got the panna cotta dessert at the end, too, which was the perfect amount. All gluten-free! Chefs were lovely ☺️

Good GF chicken pad Thai with some gluten free options on the menu. A few GF appetizers and entrees. While I liked my meal, it had a fishy taste to it, which I found odd, but not at all bad. The regular pad Thai on the menu is with shrimp, so I wondered if that might be why. This little place is next to CityCenter. Great location.

I had an incredible dining experience at Dear Sushi inside Love, Makoto. The sushi and sashimi were absolutely top-tier—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The wagyu hot stone steak was another highlight: incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and served in a way that added a fun interactive element to the meal.
I also appreciated that they offered gluten-free friendly options, which made the experience even more enjoyable and inclusive.
The ambiance is sleek and modern, matching the high-end dining experience. Expect to spend over $100 per person, but the quality of the food and overall experience make it well worth the splurge.
Highly recommend for a special night out or for any sushi lover in DC.

I randomly stumbled upon this restaurant a few years ago while on my way home from the grocery store and decided to take a quick pho detour, but Sprig & Sprout has been a staple in my dinner rotation ever since. They have an amazing selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options (as well as plenty of meat options for anyone accompanying us plant-based folks). The Roots, which is their vegan pho, is one of the best bowls of plant-based pho that I've ever had -- the burdock root-based broth is super flavorful, yet light and refreshing, and it's paired with a great selection of fresh veggies and fried tofu. The broth is the slightest bit sweet, which was a little unexpected, but that definitely doesn't stop it from being absolutely delicious! They also really load up the vegetable toppings, including the usual broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, and daikon, but also a few fun additions like tremella mushroom, which adds a wonderful pop of texture to the bowl. I would argue that the tofu is the weakest part of the entire dish -- it's a pretty standard fried tofu, with just a sprinkling of salt and pepper. Although the tofu does a great job of soaking up the burdock broth, the broth honestly doesn't have a bold enough flavor profile to really make a difference. The tofu is also usually added on cold, and by the time the broth warms it up, the noodles will have already gotten overcooked and soggy.
If I'm not in the mood for pho, I usually turn to their lotus goi salad. Young lotus root has been one of my favorite ingredients for YEARS and I genuinely thought that I would never get to enjoy it in the DMV unless I carted myself all the way to the Eden Center. But, to my surprise, the answer to all of my lotus root woes was a mere mile away from my front door. If you've never tried a young lotus root salad before, I cannot recommend it enough -- the lotus root is beautifully snappy and refreshing, and pairs beautifully with the daikon, carrot, cucumber, and other veggies. The dressing is also phenomenal, but I would recommend (1) requesting it on the side, and (2) only putting on 1/4 to 1/2 of what they give you because they're a little heavy-handed with the sugar. You can also top the salad with whatever protein you want to make it a more complete meal.
Experience a vibrant fusion of flavors in a chic environment with great happy hour deals and the perfect outdoor vibe for people watching.

Had a great dinner with the restaurant week menu last night. The food was delicious! As someone with a gluten allergy, there were many options noted on the menu. It was nice to sit at the outside high tops and people watch too!
Came to chow down here with my friend. We randomly decided to meet up here and I'm glad we did!
I walked in and was welcomed by their workers. They have an interesting way for you to order your food. You can choose from 3 types of bases (rice, noodles, or gluten free). These are reflected by the 3 different pieces of paper you order from. From there you choose your additional toppings like assorted veggies, proteins, sauces, and anything extra. Then you hand them your paper and they grab everything you ordered together.
Since this was our first time, we had lots of questions on what tastes good, what doesn't and how things looked. They were super nice and patient with us. They gave us very good recommendations I ordered the spicy chicken protein with udon noodles and some additional toppings. This was delicious so if you're looking for something good, try the udon noodles and spicy chicken! I've heard the bulgogi was good too.
Also a chill ambiance to eat at if you'd like to. Would 100% recommend!
Do not eat here. Worst restaurant experience I’ve had a long time. Pho came out completely wrong with multiple ingredients missing. We asked where the cilantro was and was told they were out. Meat was extremely tough and broth tasted like chicken broth with a lot of cracked pepper in it. We also ordered an appetizer that never came out. I had to ask about it and didn’t even eat it because we were already done and it didn’t taste fresh at all. Went to pay for our order and was verbally told that I wouldn’t have to pay for the appetizer, but was then charged for everything. I had to look at a menu and question it after the fact. The manager came out and argued with the staff in front of me. Then, I was was told that next time if I don’t like something I need to tell a waiter instead of waiting?!? She picked up the ringing phone and after she was done I had to remind her that our orders were completely wrong and we were told we didn’t have to pay for the appetizer. The worst part is that I am having an allergic reaction to gluten. Pho is ALWAYS gluten free in DC, so please do not go here if you have an allergy!

We have in the past had several great experiences at restaurant.
My wife, who has a gluten allergy, and I had made a reservation many weeks in advance for a dinner event last weekend. I noted her gluten allergy on the reservation. A member of the restaurant staff called me two hours before our Saturday night reservation to advise that they could not accommodate us with the allergy -- without any concern or regard for the lack of notice and the impact this would have on our dinner plans. I spoke to a manager who also offered no help at all. I wrote to the restaurant's management via the web site and they never responded. It was all very poorly handled. We will not be going there again.

Pho 14 is a great pho restaurant and has certainly earned it's various Asian/Vietnamese/Pho accolades. The atmosphere is casual, with several televisions in corners, but m not enough to distract entirely from conversation. The are very friendly and helpful, open to answering any questions. I was informed that "everything about the pho is gluten free" and this was confirmed by the delicious meal that I had. The dark meat chicken was great and the broth was not salty, but rather flavorful without relying on too much sodium. I will certainly be going again.
tl;dr - Great food, atmosphere, and staff. Gluten friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.

Very good quality fish with decent prices. Lunch specials are great and varied as well. Cool atmosphere. They have gluten free soy sauce, but I wouldn’t call this place “gluten free-friendly.” I got the chirachi lunch with salad (no dressing) and I didn’t detect any soy sauce in it. The chirachi bowl (below) isn’t marinaded but is very tasty!
