Gorgeous decor with friendly waitstaff and delicious Thai fare. We had a table on the rooftop terrace, which felt nice on a cooler summer night. It was also less noisy and felt more conducive to conversation than the dining room downstairs. Recommend the rooftop if you’re on a date, or with a smaller party. The gluten free offerings were great- basically a variety off the regular menu made without soy sauce. I had the drunken noodles, and it was fresh and flavorful. My date had the pad Thai, and I loved the level of spice for the medium dish (my idea of mild). Will definitely return to try more on the menu!
Expect a welcoming vibe with top-notch service and a unique ability to personalize your experience, making each visit feel special.

Absolutely incredible gem of a restaurant in the area. Their gluten free options are second to none. I had the gluten free Mongolian beef and gluten free crab rangoons. Outside of being the best gluten free Chinese I've ever had, it was some of the best Chinese I've had period. I'm so glad we found them. Thanks for such a wonderful meal!

Everything was a 10/10!
We had a full meal with butter chicken, lamb korma, chicken korma, veggie pakoras, garlic naan, garlic and onion naan, gluten free naan, chai tea, mango lassi, rice pudding, and ice cream.
The owner frequently walks around asking how your meal is and the waiters were very attentive and kind.
If you are gluten free, then I highly suggest stopping by this place. The gluten free naan and enormous variety of gluten free entrees and pakoras are amazing!! We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Been here about fifteen times over the course of the last three years, easily the best sushi place in the KC area. They have plenty of great gluten free options as well, which is perfect because my fiancé has celiac. Very fresh and delicious food.
This spot is a go-to for its unique homemade dishes and a fantastic selection that keeps everyone coming back for more!

We got there just ahead of the rush on a Friday evening. We had dumplings, pan fried, and the salmon special, along with the cheesecake wonton dessert. This was my first meal eating out since following the AIP Modified Elimination diet- I was ready to reintroduce soy/ edamame. Even with the little bit of gluten and dairy I seem to be 100% okay with this reintroduction! So grateful because our meal there was a little taste of heaven!!! Cannot wait to go back.

I’ve eaten from this location 3 times now! I’m Celiac and every time am SO thrilled to eat from such a stellar GF menu! This location has such a friendly staff who are always super accommodating. On one occasion they went out of their way to make a fresh batch of crispy chicken for my meal without request and gave me a complimentary drink while I was waiting! They are truly so kind and always taking care of their customers. I’ll for sure continue to come back!

I have celiac disease so always looking for safe gluten free dining. Our waiter was very good about checking with the kitchen if he wasn't sure of an answer. The menu is also clearly marked which rolls and items are gluten free. Great variety and the sushi was delicious.
This spot stands out with an impressive variety of options and generous portions that won't break the bank, making it a local favorite.

These questions that are asked are silly because this is a place to pick up food and eat at home. There are a few tables but no atmosphere at all! China GO! Excuse me it's in the title people! The food is what ypu are coming for. Fresh ingredients very tasty. They are very careful about people who have celiac disease.and have quite a few dishes they can make for you. Friendly counter people to wait on you. What more could you want? Win, win!
With a cozy vibe, this spot offers a diverse menu of customizable sweet and savory crepes, perfect for families with fun games to enjoy.

My favorite Chinese food in Wichita by far! The sauces are full of rich flavor, veggies are always fresh, great service, and the atmosphere is so calming and laid back. They also have the largest selection of gluten free dishes in town! Be sure to ask for both menus…

I was diagnosed with Celiacs last year and they are so knowledgeable about what dishes can/cannot be made gluten free. I’ve never had gluten cross contamination and this is pretty much the only place I get food from now that I don’t have to worry about. Despite that, this has been my favorite Thai restaurant I’ve ever eaten at!
Expect enormous portions and a fun, entertaining atmosphere where special requests are always handled with care and attention.

I have consistently had great service and great food since beginning to come to Kobe 5 years ago. The only negative that I can think of is that they don't offer lunch anymore. As a family, we try to budget when we go out to nice restaurants and so we only go to Kobe a few times a year. But here are the positives... Number one, I am gluten free as in celiac, and I have never had a reaction once at this restaurant. I always tell them when I make the reservation that I'm celiac. I remind them when I arrive and I tell the server once we've sat down. And again, I have never had a reaction or an issue and I'm also deathly allergic to shellfish and they always cook my food first which saves my life. Number two, their portions are enormous. It's enough for two grown adults. When you order anything. I always take a box home and eat lunch the next day easily. The staff are very nice and professional and the cooks are very entertaining and cater to the people in your group whether they have special needs or are small children or it's a special occasion. So there's my two cents worth and I'll save those two cents and go to kobe again.
With a huge menu boasting unique vegan and vegetarian options, this cozy spot is a must-visit for quality dining!

My wife has celiac, and they provide gluten-free options. It's hard to find Chinese food with gluten-free options.
The food was really good and it's a very clean place to eat.
Wonderful service. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The food was very good for my associates. Unfortunately, I bought a gluten-free meal and it was kind of bland overall. But I am very very grateful for all of the gluten-free options at this restaurant and will definitely go back and give it another try because My meal wasn't bad it just needed a little bit more. Flavor is all. That can happen when you make gluten-free meals.

10/10 service!! I have celiac disease and was able to eat here because they serve a gluten free udon noodle as a substitute for the ramen noodles. This place is celiac safe! The server was knowledgeable about celiac and was able to inform the kitchen staff.
The food was also delicious! The service was quick and friendly. They also have good lunch time deals and a happy hour.
I panicked ordered because their gluten free menu was very hard to read (had everything on the menu and then next to it said “yes or no”). There was a line behind me so I picked the first thing I saw that I recognized. Bad choice- the pad Thai ramen bowl was ok. The chicken was basically dry boiled chicken. My husband did enjoy his regular ramen bowl though! The restaurant wasn’t the cleanest and the bathrooms were definitely not clean. Wasn’t a bad experience just probably won’t be back.

If you can overcome the cognitive dissonance that arises from paying $50/pp to cook your own food, this place is good-ish. It's good in class. I'll elaborate:
Grill it yourself style restaurants appear somewhat uncommonly in the Midwest. They are more common on the coasts, while often couched in the aura of Korean or Mongolian or whatever. To like this place, you must be comfortable with the idea you are paying for the novelty of the experience. My 11 year old is; I would prefer to pay someone else to cook my food when I eat out. Moving past that notion.
For what it is, and in comparison with similar style restaurants, I had the following observations:
1) The beef dishes lacked enough flavor distinction to make higher quality cuts shine. My wife preferred the chuck to the ribeye simply because it was easier to manipulate with tongs and did not taste bad comparatively;
2) The pork belly preparation was underwhelming when it could have been the star of the show. I wouldnhave preferred a cured element or a smoked element to make the cut shine rather than taste like thin pork chops;
3) Sides and accouterments are the real sleeper-crowd-pleasers here. The fried calamari - lovely. The gyoza - yum!
4) What joker said the smores were their favorite? Really?! It was literally a basic smore. A novel idea executed with basic effort.
This place is great for a fun night out, or a more social-food setting - office happy hour, get to know you date night, birthdays, or anything involving pre-teens. I don't think it offers a particularly great value for what you actually get, but that is not uncommon for this type of restaurant. The manager told us an all-you-can eat option is coming soon, which is more in line with similar spots on the West Coast. Frankly, I didn't think it was necessary, as we were all very content with the quantity of food we ordered. The all-you-can-eat model would be a better sell for some folks at this price point, at least creating the illusion of good value.
They offer some chicken options, some seafood options, and you can make it through gluten free, excepting miso soup (which was a bit overly salty).
Ambiance was fine, but nothing special. Table service was fine; the manager was exceptional - attentive, friendly, on-it.
In summary, the food is good-ish and the experience is fun, if you are into this sort of thing. I think at this price point there is many better Japanese restaurants in the area, and I'm pretty sure they will even cook the food for you.
Lots of good gluten free and vegetarian options here and very flavorful food. I had a tasty bibimbap bowl with tofu and my aunt really enjoyed the japchae. I'll for sure be back if I'm in Salina again.

This is the absolute best and most authentic Japanese ramen in KC! The service is the very best! The food is amazing. Highly recommend the black ramen, edamame, gyoza, karaage chicken and more! They also have japanese Candy, anime figures, drinks, and take out onigiri and and sushi! Please offer more gluten free tamari items so my daughter can join us more often! I have celiac disease, and I have eaten here twice. The food and the overall concept are great. They claim to be gluten friendly, but if you are celiac, I advise you to be weary. Cross contamination is highly probable at the sauce station (my waitress the first time I visited, was kind enough to offer to get my sauces fresh from the back to avoid contamination, my waiter on my second visit did not). The line cooks separate your food from others with spatulas and are supposed to use separate spatulas to cook and serve your food. During both of my visits, I had cooks who used the wrong spatulas to mix and serve my meal, guaranteeing cross contamination.
The food tastes great, but it's not worth me feeling sick for 2 weeks because my food allergy wasn't properly respected.
Bustling spot where you can watch chefs whip up meals with your choice of ingredients on Mongolian grills; cozy décor but could be cleaner.

Kansas City Ramen adventure take 2! This small ramen shop is nestled in a strip mall kind of hidden, but most gems are.
It's quiet and peaceful and they have a limited menu. My wife is gluten free and so couldn't experience the ramen.
We ordered the bang bang shrimp appetizer as well as the edamame. Both tasty.
I ordered the classic Tonkotsu ramen and it was great! I loved the eggs! They were so yummy! The char siu pork was awesome!
Service was astoundingly quick and responsive.
Very much recommend it, but don't expect high end furnishings.... Just high end food !

After years of not going after accepting that I had to eliminate gluten from my diet I tried BD's when some friends visited and wanted to go. They now have GF labels on all ingredients and will cook any food on request in a clean pan in the kitchen instead of on the shared grill. Years ago their allergen protocol was good-intentioned but weak. Now it's been nicely redone. The food is literally what you make if it, which was always kind of fun. However it's also still not a solid value for the meal. Have a mindset of "I am paying for the experience" and the pricing makes more sense.

The food is fabulous and a delight to the eyes. I even loved the egg drop soup which I normally just think is OK at most places. The meat in both dishes was high quality and tender. Even the egg rolls were perfectly crisp and delicious. For those interested, they have gluten free options. We will be back many more times.
Great time at oishii sushi. They have the Tamari GF soy sauce for any celiacs out there. They were very accommodating in regards to our daughters gluten intolerance.
Went for a friend's birthday. Most everything has gluten so I had the ahi Tuna salad with egg drop soup and cucumber, Tuna and salmon sushi appetizers. It was good, I'm just not a sushi person.
