Sazan has good ramen! I am happy they have gluten free ramen although I wish the noodles were more similar to the non-gf version. The waitress, Gabby, was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is nice although be prepared to be sitting right next to strangers. Overall, we had a nice time and will be going back!

The food was tasty, the staff were attentive, the atmosphere was cute. But there is NOT very much gluten free options. In general, this place is not allergen friendly. If you have no allergies though, it's great!!! Also, the mid-day menu is pretty limited

This was my second amazing meal at Uchi Austin! This time I brought even more people. For our visit to Austin, I put Uchi high on my must—dine list because the flavors were so memorable. Everything was delicious. Sour, umami, spicy, herbaceous, sweet-- they covered every note. We ordered a variety and took recommendations from our wonderful waiter (Armin? Armon? - I should have gotten the spelling). Two of us are gluten free, and two of us don’t even like seafood generally, and we still loved it. Most of the menu can be gluten free (get the ponzu sauce!). What a great memory.

I can't believe I didn't try Uchiko sooner. Anna was a fantastic server and the food was amazing. My boyfriend and I wanted to keep the bill around $200, so I was worried we wouldn't get enough food. I had to unbutton my pants on the way home. We're pretty indecisive, so we took Anna up on her offer to curate a menu for us based on our budget and likes/dislikes. Every single bite of the 9-course dinner was perfect. We got all our favorites (most of which we didn't mention - it felt like she was reading our minds), plus plenty of unique things that I never would've thought to order but turned out to be incredible. She checked in regularly to see what we liked so she could pick the next courses. Our feedback probably wasn't very helpful because we loved everything. I mentioned my gluten intolerance in the reservation. Anna addressed it as soon as we were seated and went over the gluten-free options. The vast majority of the menu items were either gluten-free or could be modified. It really stood out to me that the food runners all specified that each dish they served was gluten-free. I didn't have to spend the meal worrying about miscommunications. Our experience was on par with the Michelin-star restaurants I used to go to when I lived in NYC, but for a fraction of the price. Obviously the food was perfect. But what really set this experience apart was the service. I can't say enough good things about Anna, the bartenders, and the rest of the FOH staff. Everyone went above and beyond to take care of us and make us feel welcomed.

Delicious Korean fusion spot, with a great gluten free selection. Staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and guiding me to both gluten free and dairy free options (the latter not too hard in Asian cuisine). The portions are large and an appetizer and main dish some could be shared amongst friends depending on how hungry you are.

Ate here for dinner with a friend tonight, absolutely delicious meal! Very impressed with their menu, everything we ordered was good! Plenty of gluten free items marked on their menu which made it very convenient for me to order. Only downside is the price - pretty expensive, so definitely an every once in a while or special occasion type of restaurant. Also skip the drinks, while they were good, they were pricey ($15-20), so save your money for the food!!

I celebrated my birthday here, and hands down, this was the best dining experience I’ve had in Austin in the last three years. The ambiance, customer service, and music were all top-tier. I ordered the chef’s special—a five-course meal that turned into six, thanks to our incredible server, Kendra. She was thoughtful, kind, and knew the menu inside and out. Every recommendation she made was spot on. Plus, my lady is gluten- and dairy-free, and anytime a restaurant can accommodate her needs without skipping a beat, it’s a huge win. 5-star everything—can’t wait to come back!

**UPDATE** Loro management has gone above to remedy this issue and I have been really impressed by how they have handled everything. It makes me feel reassured that it is safe to eat there again in the future. I have loved this place for years but warning to anyone with Celiac or a gluten allergy, I ordered the salmon entree for pickup and marked gluten allergy and celiac on the order only to find out after getting home that the new seaweed salad that it comes with is not gluten free despite the entree being labeled gluten free on the menu. Unfortunately I couldn’t eat any part of my meal due to cross contamination so definitely call and confirm the website is up to date before placing your order :(

We absolutely love RedFarm! The food is consistently delicious, with plenty of options for everyone—gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian included. My personal favorite? The gluten-free lobster dumplings—oh my god, they are incredible. Robert was our server (as he often is), and he always takes excellent care of us. He’s knowledgeable about the menu and incredibly thoughtful when it comes to food allergies and dietary needs. Jen, the manager, is also a standout. She’s been there for years, always greets us with a smile, and it’s clear she cares deeply about both the staff and the overall operation. The restaurant is clean, well-run, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

A great gluten free hot pot spot in Austin! The server was very knowledgeable and checked in on us several times even on a busy Saturday. Their menu and the buffet had clear labels for what had gluten (and nuts). There was even a note that you could request sauces and such straight from the kitchen if you are worried about cross contamination. Everyone has an individual pot so easy to keep everything separate. Everything was really delicious and the ambiance inside is great too! The best part was definitely the staff and their service. Seems like a fun place to bring a group! Would definitely recommend!

I have been gluten free for a few years now and I am always trying to find a good gluten free orange chicken option so I opted to try that. It’s much spicier than I expected but it’s a good spice. I’ve seen mixed reviews so I was skeptical but I think it was great! It’s been over a year since I’ve had take out Chinese food but now that I’ve found this place I know that will change!

The food was good overall, though the green curry, labeled as spicy, wasn’t quite as fiery as we expected—something to keep in mind if you love bold heat. Lin Wu Asian is one of the best spots in Austin for gluten-free Asian cuisine. The food is consistently flavorful, portions are generous, and the gluten-free options are clearly marked and safely prepared—huge plus for anyone with dietary restrictions. The only downside is the host or greeter, who can come off as a bit snooty or unhelpful. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does make the first few minutes less welcoming. Thankfully, the service improves once you’re seated, and the food absolutely makes it worth it.

What a Hidden Gem! As someone who has traveled across the U.S. and dined at over 200 Thai restaurants, I can confidently say I know my Thai food. Only about 5% of places make it to my coveted 5-star list—and this food truck is one of them! The flavors here are absolutely amazing, proving that great food doesn’t need a fancy restaurant setting. The menu may be limited, but everything is 100% gluten-free and packed with flavor. We tried the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Papaya Salad, and every dish was fantastic. The portions were generous, the seasoning was on point, and the overall quality blew us away. To top it off, the service was exceptional. I had the chance to chat with the owner, who is as sweet as she is passionate about her craft. If you’re looking for outstanding Thai food—especially if you need gluten-free options—this place is a must-try. Don’t miss it!

They say they have gluten free options but someone with celiacs comes in like myself, if you don’t ask about the “gluten free” items being put in the same fryer , you’ll absolutely get sick due to cross contamination.The onigiri was okay again no ingredients on what it’s seasoned with. The chicken Katsu was beyond mediocre. EDIT: i got the salmon, tuna and steak Onigiri that is listed gluten free, and i got sick on the drive home! I would say not gluten free! Completely unacceptable.

I love Thai Lada!!! They have a large selection of vegetarian options, and they're great about accommodating my gluten intolerance. As someone with sensory issues, I really appreciate the fact that they allow you to customize the spice level or make small modifications (such as leaving off certain vegetables.) The staff is friendly and the environment/ambiance is pleasant. Maybe entire family loves this place!

I paid extra to make sure an item was gluten free and I received an item not marked as gluten free and with broccoli that I didn’t order. They didn’t apologize, tried to convince me it was fine to eat because they ran out of gluten free stickers, and then offered a credit or to drive there and back again (30 minutes) to pickup a corrected order. I did get a refund when I directly asked for one, but the entire reason why I picked this place was that they had gluten free food. The quality to price just isn’t there and I’ve been pretty consistently getting cold food. This location has gone down hill, if you don’t have an allergy restriction, there’s lots of cheaper and better options out there.

TLDR: food is an A++ & service is an A++ Between the service & the food, idk what to start off with. The incredible food is what got me hooked in the first place. Whether you have dietary restrictions or not, there are several options on the menu for everybody. Genuinely! I have a gluten allergy & dairy intolerance so this is one of the first places I was recommended to visit around 5 years ago. I should’ve written a review sooner. I’ve ordered the same entree & more every time. I order the Mala Mala Chicken & sometimes my friends will order other things on the menu & we’ll have a little buffet amongst ourselves & everything really is so great tasting. Never once had a bad bite from this restaurant. But when I order only for myself, I can’t ever bring myself to switch up on the Mala Mala no matter how bad I want to; it’s a true #1. I work at a hotel downtown so I order my food to-go or for delivery very frequently & also always refer the hotel guests here as it’s soo good. The food kept me coming religiously, but the staff is what prompted me to finally write this review. It’s been a long few weeks, so getting off early on a weekday in March one time for the one time I decided to order my food to-go like normal but would go inside for a drink to treat myself while I waited since I got off early unexpectedly. I knew Old Thousand & was good vibes as I used to live up in North Austin & frequented that location before moving more south a few years ago. Shoutout to whomever has control of the aux. I planned on having one drink, but had two instead as the two bartenders Ani & Leon were the kindest & coolest people. <3 They even let me eat the food (some, I wasn’t going to finish it all) I had ordered online to-go at the bar (this is most definitely a thing to be appreciative of; service industry knows this!). They were so sweet, easy going, & just all around good people. When my food was ready, Leon even recognized me by my order (like I said I order the same entree each time & often lol I only ever change/add an extra side like the cucumber salad or buddha’s delight). I’d like to add, I really like the chili oil but sometimes I want it & sometimes I don’t: the Mala Mala Chicken really is just that good by itself– no sauce needed. Leon wondered if I might want some chili oil & I said I get it about 50% of the time but this last time I just reordered the entree quickly as I just wanted some banging well-deserved delicious food & wasn’t thinking about extras since I planned to just take my food home, eat, & go to sleep early for once. Leon then told me about the pineapple oil, which I had never even heard of (risks of being a creature of habit when it comes to food being too damn good), & it rocked my world! I’m obsessed & wish it was bottled to keep at my apartment lol. Ani took excellent care of me with my drinks, I didn’t sit with an empty glass & she didn’t force me into conversation like some do (one of the reasons I typically don’t sit at a bar alone but I didn’t want to take up a whole table since I originally only planned to come in for a quick drink to wait for my food). Tequila & especially mezcal called & so I answered! Thank you, Ani. Ani & Leon bounced off each other so well & I admired how nice it is to see people that can enjoy working with one another not just professionally but as people casually too. They let me know about brunch on the weekends, which I knew about, but they convinced me with their vibes & actions alone, not words & selling me on it, to make the time to come in & bring one of my besties this weekend! My friend I’m referring to is a vegan &I have a gluten allergy & dairy intolerance but to know we can have a great time too at brunch with great food & drinks & awesome service without compromising on any part of the dining experience is a 10/10. Then you add people like Ani & Leon on top of it… That’s a 100/10. They were the absolute icing & cherries on top.
