The gluten free Banana Bread was so very tasty. I will definitely trade a slightly different texture for healthy eating. On the sweeter side, the blueberry muffin has "grandmaw's touch" the carmelized crunchy sugar coating took me back!

Got the gluten free sourdough loaf and it was pretty good! A bit pricey ($13) for the loaf but will support local artisans. I wish they had a bread slicer tho! Most places will slice the bread for you. For such a big kitchen it might be worth the investment :) I went to the store on a Saturday at noon and they were basically sold out and everything was made the day before, so if you want fresh bread better to order ahead.
This cozy sweet shop has a delightful array of treats, inviting decor, and a perfect spot to relax or grab something tasty on the go.

Terrific bake shop that carries some gluten-free items like cookies, muffins, and/or mini-pies (though it is a cross contaminated environment). We’ve been very pleased with everything we’ve had here, and the friendly service, and will absolutely return.

A nice quaint place for a good meal. The turkey Manhattan was good, but could have used a small bit of salt for my taste.(I tend to like things a little salty) The bread and potatoes were a different take than I've had before and it was refreshing. I enjoyed the mash baked potato as it was cut up rather than fully mashed into what normally is on a Manhattan. The gravy was had a good consistency that stuck to bread without making it soggy. The bread itself had been toasted nicely as well.
The soup was nice and acidic with a rich taste without being over seasoned allowing one to enjoy the tomatoes and basile together.
The Latka were a little soft for me, but this didn't take away from their flavor.
Family owned and operated this restaurant's staff was polite and open for conversation about the food and even suggestions as to what to have.
I even noticed them making sure a customer knew which choices of food had gluten when ordering.
Experience a world where scrumptious, thoughtfully crafted baked goods bring joy and nourishment to everyone, no matter their dietary needs!

Since my husband discovered that he’s gluten intolerant, we’ve switched to sourdough and it’s been life-changing for him! He’s a huge fan of bread (toast for breakfast, sandwich for lunch and pasta for dinner!) and after finding Organic Bread of Heaven, we feel we’ve hit the jackpot! We’ve tried the muffins, cinnamon bread, white bread, pizza crusts, and pasta and every single item we eat from here is beyond scrumptious!! We are so grateful for their dedication to real food that tastes amazing and is good for our bodies. We thank you and hope you continue baking delectable bread for all your customers to enjoy! God bless you!!

I can't believe I am actually eating a full sized piece of GF bread...tastes like REAL bread and smells so heavenly! It's the only gluten-free bread I don't have to put in the toaster to eat. The buttermilk coffee cake was fantastic as well! My only wish is that it was open at least 1 day a month on the weekend so I can get more.

The Cake Bake Shop had been suggested to me by several friends and I was excited to try them out. I will likely be a repeat customer. However, I am not likely to be a regular for several reasons. My 360 evaluation below.
The very good: the atmosphere is delightful. The outside and inside of the store are clean and bright while still being warm and inviting. The constumes the staff wear are pretty, immaculate and enhance the environment. I totally see from a visual perspective why this shop is opening a branch in Disney. It feels more like an experience and less like retail. Also there is staff to greet you and ample service staff in the shop to give eaxh customer 1 on 1 attention.
Also good: the lemon, raspbery and magic bars are some of the best I have had. They are beautiful, the pacagung is lovely, and the taste, quality and size are what you want them to be at that price point. Honorable mention to the macarons. While a bit high in price for the size of the cookie they are super yummy and again lovely visually.
The not great: I live in Kokom and our local cake shop J Edwards has both a substanially better selection, and comparably as delicious and in some cases more delicious set of Gluten Free offferings. I hink the store is beautiful and every item was beautiful and came in lovely packaging...but not worth it for me at twice the price or higher for less delicious. That said, all their GF stuff was more beautifully presented and packaged than our local place. Also, while the boxes and bags were beautiful the care in packaging was not as good as my local shop. Some of my items were squished, or otherwise the worse for ware in transit which was simply a 40 minute car ride...no bumpy back roads or anything. Thwt strikes me as a customer service oversight. Also the side seam on the paper bags for bakery items splits super easy making the bags pretty but not very functional. The boxes were sturdy though.
Also not great: I asked to buy an Italian cream soda while I was browsing. They looked like they did not know what this was. So I said, it is just soda or sparkeling water with flavor syrup and a splash of cream. They said they could not do this. Literally on the other side of the wall was a bar area and behind the bakery counter an espresso maker and a bunch of flavor syrups. They had everything on hand to accomodate my request but refused. They were polite but again when paying a premium one does anticipate premium and accomodating service.
Also not great: out of my large order two items were missing. When I called, they took my transaction info checked it. After checking the order info they offered an apology agreed to refund the price of the misssing items. I did mention that I live about 40 minutes away. There was no offer to make up for their error past a refund for items not included. No can we mail you the missing irems can we comp you on your next visit...nothing.
This rubbed me the wrong way...perhaps this is standard, but I did not like this way of doing business. When I fidt got there I expressed interest in buying a whole cake. Despite numerous whole cakes being abailablein the display they said that I had to order 48 hours in advance. But Iwas informed I could buy up to 5 slicea of each cake at the higher slice rate. I was not impressed.
In conclusion...if you want an experience this is a great place to dine in. If you want amazing bars eat in or take out, also highly reccomend. If you are hosting an in home event and the beauty of the cake is of primary importance. More than that, if you are willing to pay a premium just for prettty. I mean beautiful i ternal layering and the whole nine, this is the place to buy. If you want a tasty cake to treat you family, your local, less swaky option is likely to taste just as good in the whole cake department. Although to be fair I have not tried all their cakes...there may be exceptional highlights in there. But the black and white GF cake was only ok tasting.
Expect a lively atmosphere with delicious options and a perfect spot for celebrations, though wait times can be a bit unpredictable.

Wow expensive!! Thought they would have more gluten free items from internet chatter. Didn't get that in real time, Server wasn't overly excited about answering questions.Update; was given a gift card and went again. This time server was very helpful. Wife with celiac liked gluten free pasta. Small appetizer burgers were really good. Still consider expensive.

Rosie's is a solid stop and gluten-free haven. They use nut allergy flour to make their gluten-free products. FYI. Benedicts, rancheros, and taters are solid. The kids liked the bacon and loved the mega pancakes. These plates are definitely a sugar rush and are absolutely able to take on the hangriest. You won't leave hungry unless you try. The staff was great, and the coffee was great. Prices were a little elevated, I dropped a Benjamin for 4 people.... 😬. I'd do it again. It was packed, and there is a good amount of seating.

We just discovered the Good Morning Breakfast House attached to La Bodega on Sunday morning and were blown away by how delicious our breakfast was! The negative reviews about the food don't seem to be recent, so I'm wondering if they got a new chef or made other changes. Anyway, we ordered the Spinach & Tomato Benedict (no bacon as we don't eat meat) and the Veggie Skillet (without cheese), which came with 4 triangles of French Toast. The Hollandaise sauce was incredible, the hash browns were perfectly crispy without being greasy, the veggies were fresh and cooked just right, the French toast was airy and fluffy, and the coffee was smooth. We both agreed that this was the best local breakfast in Bloomington. Our server (David) was friendly and attentive, and the price was quite reasonable, particularly with the generous portions. I wish we had thought to take a picture, but we can do that next time as we'll most certainly be returning. Also, the bodega includes vegan and gluten-free treats and desserts, which we plan to try at a future visit!

Served cafeteria style. You inform the line servers what you want and pay at the point-of-sale register at the end of the line. You receive a number and take your tray of sides and drinks to the any of the open tables in the dining room.
Highly Recommend All of the Following:
-- Nova Lox & Everything Bagel (Generous serving of Nova Lox. Includes slices of tomatoes, onion, capers, Greek olives, lemon wedge and Philadelphia cream cheese. Served on a decorative bed of lettuce or gluten-free bread).
-- Beef Brisket Sandwich (brisket of beef, cooked with Shapiro's secret spices and rub and sliced hot to order for sandwich. About 6 ounces of meat on every sandwich with Shapiro's famous rye bread, or whatever you choosel | 85% beef, 15% rye bread.)
-- Pastrami Reuben Sandwich w/ Sauerkraut (House-made pastrami piled high with two slices of German-Swiss cheese, a thick splat of Russian dressing, and sauerkraut in the middle of the meat, grilled to a golden brown, served with a half-sour pickle)
-- Macaroni and Cheese (crunchy cheese top and creamy middle)
-- Broccoli and Cheese Soup (Saturday Special)
-- Half Sour Pickles (Crisp, traditional pickle that's not as tart or as fully fermented)
-- Dr. Brown’s® Black Cherry Soda (unique dry finish of black cherries to deliver the perfect balance of crispness and sweetness. Loaded with natural-tasting cherry flavor, the Black Cherry is never overpowering and always refreshing. Caffeine free.)
All of the meats, cheeses and salads are available by the pound, half or quarter in the deli. So are the bagels, breads, sauerkraut, pickles, pastries/cookies, desserts, etc.
Enjoy a vibey spot with tasty vegan options and standout baked goods that make for a delightful experience.

I got a half chicken bacon ranch VEGAN salad, which was a good size. The ranch dressing was so good. I am also so happy I got the banana cake cream cheese frosting cake (VEGAN) it's rare to be able to get such good vegan baked goods.
They can't guarantee a gluten-free environment since it's a bakery, but if you're just gluten-intolerant you might try the impossible burger on lettuce without a bun. Would have been nice to have extra lettuce for a "wrap" since there was no bun, but not too bad.
The tomato soup was great too. Overall good experience and looking forward to coming back.

Mireyah at Belle Estani and her whole team are the sweetest most personable wedding vendors. They make SO MANY yummy treats your biggest problem will be too many choices. Everything I have tried is amazing. She also is super accommodating to dietary restrictions and made my daughter gluten free options for her birthday which is hard to find around here. She goes above and beyond for her clients and customers.
I had ordered a gluten-free small cake for a first year anniversary dinner. It was decorated beautifully. We couldn’t wait to eat. We cut it and served it. It was the worst tasting cake ever. Don’t know if it was missing ingredients or that’s what gluten-free taste like there. Not one person at the table could eat it. No one liked it. And we had to throw the entire cake for $55 in the garbage. So I would ask to taste gluten-free there before you would order it. Never again when I order gluten-free from there
