Ordered a cake for my friend’s birthday. It was ok. The cake was gluten free cake. There was nothing exceptional about it. I asked to have Happy Birthday written on the cake and nothing was written on the cake. The website wasn’t the easiest to navigate in terms of options to pick up the cake. It was very hard to get in contact with them. I ended up constantly calling all the locations until someone picked up to change my pick up location which was automatically picked for me. I was very annoyed when I went to two locations and both were completely empty but no one was answering the phone or responding to emails. It’s a nice option if you need a gluten free cake for a special occasion, but if I wasn’t coming from out of town, I have to say that I could have made better using gluten free boxed cake mix and making a vegan icing. The ladies at the counter were nice enough but one was new and wasn’t able to answer any questions the next location was not fully gluten free but they only held the NuFlour products in a glass case and the person working was unable to answer any questions about serving the cake.

Today is my Mom's 75th birthday. She has food allergies, so I expect to pay more for a good cake. I ordered a small chocolate cake with vanilla frosting that's also gluten/soy/corn free. With the extra $15 for corn-free powdered sugar I paid $79. I told them it was for a celebration and asked them to put a 75 on top. They told me that, due to the ingredient limitations, they couldn't color the frosting and that the 75 would be white on white. I approved that and told them to just make it look nice. This is what I got. Did a professional decorator do this? It's yellow (is that even safe to eat based on what they told me on the phone when I ordered?). It's not proportional. It isn't even remotely celebratory looking. I could've done it better myself. I'm so disappointed. 3 stars because at least the cake is good.

Delicious baked goods if you don't have to avoid gluten, like heaven if you DO have to avoid gluten. Extremely conscientious about avoiding any cross contamination. The focaccia and brioche are must haves for me, and it's delightful that I can have a slice of cake for celebrations along with everyone else. The racks start to clear quickly, so get there early!

Wow- talk about a hidden gem! We went here after a hike near Baker Lake and we were floored by the hand pies and bagel dogs. I am making sure we stop by again before we leave the area. You can tell there is a lot of care put into everything they produce. I am not sensitive to gluten and would be a regular here if I could. Well done.

Oh my goodness! I had french toast for the first time in a year after being told I had celiac. My father was a baker for 50 years. So I missed bread items very much. I will be back for sure. The bread was light and had a great taste. My husband, who is not GF, liked it as much as I did. Oh, and the cupcakes were delicious 😋 Can't wait to go back again and again. Fully vegan and gluten free. Everything was truly very good. One of our favorite plant-based joints yet. Convenient parking and access. Chill atmosphere. Not busy at all for 9am on a Sunday. Also great coffee and tea place right by it as well. Perfect stop for my family w/ 2 kids passing through town.

DJ is so incredibly kind! I tried 2 Gluten and Dairy free donuts this morning. Both were absolutely incredible. They are worth the price 100%. DJ is passionate about making sure people celiac’s and other allergies are safe. He uses dedicated equipment and even dedicated clothing to make sure our food is safe. He doesn’t use any artificial dyes! Amazing! DELICIOUS!! Gluten free, vegan, and SAFE! Ate the donuts before I could get a picture. Today was my first donut in years. He gave me a fresh, warm vanilla donut with rainbow sprinkles right out of the kitchen. He’s got some new products coming out soon, and we got so lucky to get a taste. I gave 4 stars because although they have a lovely selection of Gluten Free pastries (muffins, cinnamon rolls, and cookies), the soy latte I ordered came out burnt and sour! The muffin I got was good though and nice location!

Great cupcakes overall many varieties. It's disappointing that they've reduced the gluten free cupcake varieties on display. If you order ahead cakes or cupcakes (by dozen) it's awesome some of the best I've ever had

Tina’s Tasty Treats is an absolute gem! I was recently diagnosed with a gluten intolerance and walking into Tina’s felt like a breath of fresh air. I ended up talking with the owner for nearly 20 minutes—she was so kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel excited about this new journey instead of overwhelmed. Her gluten-free bread and buns? To die for. I’ve been looking for weeks for a good GF Sour dough and I definitely found it here!! Soft, flavorful, and better than anything I’ve had, even before going GF. And the peachy Marion berry oatmeal bars are next-level delicious. Prices are totally fair for the quality, and you can tell everything is made with care. I left feeling hopeful, stocked up, and already planning my next visit. If you’re gluten-free (or just want incredible treats), this place is a must. Can’t wait to try everything else!

Cute little cafe, known for their muffins. I was in the area for an appointment in Silverdale and we wanted something yummy to snack on for our drive back to Seattle. We searched the area and found that this place had decent reviews so we decided to check it out. When we asked for suggestions, the lady that was helping us said "everything here is good" and "its hard to pick a favorite, its like picking a favorite child." So after scanning the menu, we ended up picking 2 muffins - Zucchini Carrot & Blueberry. So we tried to get the morning special that includes a coffee & muffin for $2, but apparently we missed the cut off time. The texture was different... I'm not sure if it was because it was gluten free or something else, but I'm not certain we enjoyed them. They seemed a little pricey for what they were, but maybe this is normal for gluten free muffins / baked goods? It was very crumbly and when we bit into it, it made a huge mess. The muffin was very soft, a little mushy, seemed almost undercooked? I'm not sure, maybe this is normal. Environment is good, clean & lots of seating available. Asked if café was "dog friendly" and they seemed confused by my question. So I wouldn't bring your dog inside unless it is an service dog.

When I think of what makes Olympia, Olympia, it's places like the Blue Heron Bakery that specialize in vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options along with your standard ham and egg type offerings. They also have a full coffee bar with a nice variety of syrup flavors. I got the Mediterranean scramble and it was good. My partner got the tempeh cheese steak, which was also good. Next time I might try their quiche. It's very casual decor wise with exposed storage shelving intermingled with tables. Gives a hippie artist vibe. There's outdoor seating options for nice days. It was about 15-20 to get hot food made, but there were also items that were just ready made to go. Staff were business like. It took a while to be acknowledged, but we weren't in a hurry. Parking was available. I'd bring kids here, especially if you have a vegetarian.

What a great addition to downtown! The space is bright, clean, and well decorated. The staff are friendly. And the doughnuts are pretty good (especially if you need a gluten free option). We tried the chocolate mint (which we really enjoyed) and the churro (which was not bad - but tasted more of holiday spice cake than churro). Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back to try other flavor offerings. Pro Tip: All of the doughnuts are gluten free and vegan, with a dense, cake like texture. If that’s not your thing, there are other doughnut spots in town that might be more to your liking.

There is a lovely lady at our firm who has to eat gluten free, and it was her birthday. When I asked around where the best place was to get her a cake and heard that this place was the ONLY place to go, I called; We had her put two of Jenny Mae's Cinnamon Crumb Cakes aside. While picking up, I was met with a smiling face and knowledge. There were other gluten free baked goods for sale as well that I will be back to try. We warmed the cakes a bit and suprised her for her Birthday. SHE LOVED IT. Said it was one the best she had ever had. This wasn't 'good for a gluten-free cake' either, it was delicious all around.

Phenomenal. The employees were so fun to chat with and very knowledgeable, going as far as to mention use of oats as some people with celiac can’t have gluten free oats. We got a chocolate muffin and a piece of pumpkin cheesecake. Both were absolutely amazing. They mentioned the cheesecake had a new crust recipe and I don’t know when I’ll stop thinking about it, it’s SO good. And by far the best muffin I’ve had since my celiac diagnosis.

Vibrant yet old fashioned atmosphere. Very friendly staff, accommodated our vegan family. The sweet potato hash was delicious, non dairy options for espresso, and their new gluten free vegan ginger molasses cookies are amazing. Will be back!!

I usually go to the DiTazza off of Padden. I go there on Sundays and also early mornings before work. I absolutely love the staff, the gluten free options and the coffee is really good! Hats off to this cafe and their staff. Will continue to go there often.

Ordered delicious carrot cake and lemon cupcakes for my husband with celiac disease - they were fantastic! You would not know they are gluten free. The cake was moist, they were beautifully decorated, and ordering/pickup was easy. We've tried most gluten free desserts in TriCities, and this is our new favorite! So grateful places like this exist.

Blackbird Bakery created all of the baked goods for our dessert bar at our wedding - they helped us determine quantities, sizes of platters we would need to rent, and were able to deliver to the venue. I have celiac disease and Heidi, the owner, was very clear that they are not a dedicated gluten free facility. She talked me through their cross-contamination prevention protocols, they have dedicated prep space, kitchen utensils, mixing bowls, etc. I appreciated the thoughtful warning, and as I have eaten there many, many times without getting sick, I felt safe ordering for our wedding. We were able to have a delicious selection of pies, their famous Italian cream cake, cookies, and cupcakes - including some non-gluten free vegan cupcakes for our vegan guests. We were able to go in for a "tasting" of sorts and look through their wedding book of previous events - where we had some cookies and a mezzaluna so I could taste their GF pie crust. If you have a chance, I highly recommend ordering an Italian cream cake or GF pie custom - it will blow your mind! Thank you again Heidi and the Blackbird Team!

i have never been disappointed with my visits to sweetly. they're food is absolutely delicious and their are many gluten free options. the coffeeis equally as good, and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. its a nice place to sit for a few hours and read a book. my go to coffee spot :)

The baristas are amazing. I am here from another state to take care of my son and grandchildren. This is my son‘s favorite coffee, so I try to come every day, buy us both coffee and purchase his favorite gluten-free pastries. Matt has been especially kind every day that he has either made the coffee or taken my order. He works with another fine barista every Monday morning, who is also extraordinarily kind and thoughtful. My son has a fractured vertebrae, and he is unable to take care of his children by himself. They bring a positive light to the day and are very thoughtful. I pray that both of them are immensely blessed because of their kindness toward us.

Just came to this shop because I’m gluten free and they were closed, but they saw us walk up to the door and just opened it and handed us a DOZEN free doughnuts! So rare in these capitalist times to find such sweet folks, and they even gave me a bag of gluten free doughnuts also!!?? So so kind and the doughnuts were delish. The Creamery has THE BEST pastries, but what makes it even better is the variety of amazing gluten-free options - that are actually delicious. The service from the counter is always friendly and efficient. My friend and I can visit for hours in their comfortable and clean dining area. I know they have a separate room for more private gatherings, which is an additional benefit. Needless to say, it's worth the drive from Snohomish (where we have another GF bakery) to get their sweet treats and excellent service!

Amazing gluten-free cupcakes! I’ve tried their Peach (with whip cream frosting, yum!) and their Vanilla and both were great. I would not recommend the gluten-free lemon bars though. The top was too tart and the crust was too grainy. But I’ll be back when I’m craving cupcakes again.
