I’d avoid the GF bun it’s very dry and crumbly but they the most celiac safe place I know! Dedicated fryers, very knowledgeable staff and amazing GF fried chicken! When you order online they even have a celiac option to check off.
This spot offers a fun vibe with a unique interior, dedicated fryers, and tasty options that make it a go-to for those with dietary restrictions.

As a newly diagnosed celiac my priorities for dining out have drastically altered. In the past this place wasn’t great in my eyes due to the service staff being not so attentive, however I recently had a great experience and better yet they are very gluten free friendly.
I am under the impression they have a specific gluten free fryer and they have many options for celiac.
The GF burger was a really impressive surprise and all the GF sides were also very good.
Thank you and please keep it up! I will return for sure.

What a fantastic place to have dinner! The service was outstanding—worthy of 10 stars—and the food was simply divine. There are many gluten-free options available, including a dedicated gluten-free menu. We ordered the nachos, and wow, I never thought nachos could taste this good! Every meal that was served was absolutely mouthwatering.
With a customizable buffet and pay-by-weight system, this spot is perfect for picky eaters looking for fresh choices, though it can get pricey.

Pretty good portion on the dosas if you get their Dosa of the day. I like the lamb on Tuesdays. Pretty fast at in-between times (non-dinner time) when they are quite empty. The dosa is probably gluten-friendly but you might want to ask if other ingredients inside it are gluten-friendly too.

Came in for breakfast on a big pow day which kept the number of customers down which was nice. Staff were only too happy to cater for non gluten eater well as a picky eating child. Food was hot and tasty and the drinks were warm and comforting. Would recommend.

Really nice place to relax with a few drinks. Didn't have any food as we had just come from a café but we did get a flight and oh my god. I need to go back to get more if that blueberry basil. Until I do it will stay in my dreams, Highly recommend checking it out. They had indoor outdoor seating.
Their menu had things marked as Gluten Free although since we didn't order im not sure if they have a designated fryer or not.
Thankyou for the wonderful service staff, you were all so nice 😊

This place is one of the best restaurants we've been to in a while. Everything we had was fantastic: Beef tenderloin carpaccio, smoked chicken penne, pan seared miso halibut, blackened creole chicken.
My wife has celiac and they have a lot of options. The gluten free penne was probably the best GF pasta she has tried.
We also had a few cocktails and they were all well made. Earl Grey Martini was a stand out for me.
Our server was very nice and accommodating as well and service was very fast.

I chose the Pour house based on reviews and a widely advertised gluten free menu. There is indeed a gluten free fryer however other allergies were not well managed. We discussed extensively with the team what was available and were offered chips and a green salad. As we were attending a show nearby we took the option believing it to be relatively safe. We were disappointed at the lack of effort to accommodate or make any suggestions of suitable items. I had a reaction shortly after dinner. I would not recommend this venue to anyone with a serious allergy

It's very trendy. I had the Angela Burger with brie. Wouldn't order it again, but it was very filling, and the beef patty was perfect. The appetizers were incredible. Had little falafel balls and loved them. The staff are amazing and it's much bigger inside than you'd expect. Very poor area for parking but a nice place to pop into if you're walking around town. The bartender was very skilled. There are plenty of gluten-free options. Uncertain if there's accessible facilities, but I know the washroom I used required 2 steps to reach. The main dining area is accessible. A walker and a cane managed well. Would be wheelchair friendly.
This spot delivers an inviting vibe, with a lively atmosphere and a menu packed with creative options that impress every time.

They’re great at accommodating gluten-free dairy-free! I was able to get a burger with no cheese, butter, etc. and didn’t get sick. However, that is the only thing on the menu that is gluten free (other than salad).
My partner ordered fish tacos - they were drizzled with liquidy guacamole. The guacamole used at least a small amount of spoiled avocado and it ruined the whole dish.
The burgers are pork and beef mixed.
They were great at accommodating kids, the server was nice and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was as expected.

First I would like to say that the staff here is friendly, hardworking and have great customer service. We sat down in a large group, it took a very long time to order 30min+ but as expected with the size of the party. The price point is high, like extremely high (fine dinning) however I would say the food is subpar. Like for one adult and one child with one small drink, $60+. I got the jerk chicken sandwich and a ceaser salad. The ceaser salad was good but the portion was quite small. The jerk chicken sandwich was good with the exception of there wasn’t a lot of jerk chicken flavour. I would say it was quite good for a plain chicken sandwich. My child’s pizza, I would steer clear… the crust seemed like gluten free (dry, flat, cardboard texture) but wasn’t to my understanding. The sauce seemed too sweet and the pizza seemed to be well well done. He ordered a pepperoni and it came out as a cheese when it was sent back there was a measly 1-2 slices of pepperoni per slice clearly added after it was cooked due to the fact they fell off as my child picked up a slice. I probably would pass given the opportunity to visit again because the waitresses and atmosphere are lovely unfortunately the food is just not that good and very over priced for what it is

Great service, great ambiance. Make a reservation by phone early to get a table. The lounge takes walk ins but fills on busy nights. It's busy but still really good. For those not from the area, The Keg is a well-known mid-higher-end steakhouse chain with consistently good food and locations.
Braxton is the most attentive server me and my friends have ever had, while somehow not seeming stressed or worried.
They accommodated our requests for keeping gluten separate on so many things and a manager came out to make sure it was all planned and done okay. Thanks so much for a great night out with great food!
The french onion soup never disappoints for the rich umami. Can also recommend the mushrooms neptune. Check out the dessert menu too. I always ask for it at the same time as the regular menu so I can plan my meals out. Next time I will get less savoury and leave room for a Billy Miner Pie of ice cream cake style (from memory). Cola was refillable, which I appreciate.

Met up with two friends for dinner before a movie. First time here and the moment we stepped in we were acknowledged and seated. They have a gluten free menu. Our server, Jappan, was very attentive and friendly she kept checking on us as we were talking and deciding on what to eat. Two of us decided to have the Simple Burger with a gluten free bun and the chicken salt fries, it was delicious and just the right amount of food.
There was a little mix up with our order being received by the kitchen, the server told us about it and was very apologetic. I loved that she was honest and kept us informed as to when our food would come out.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and if I am back in the area, I would go there again.

Delicious food, great service and a really positive energetic vibe. IMO, this is the best place for dinner in Sooke. The food was fresh and there were vegan and gluten free options. The service felt uninvited, but still good at filling my water when empty. I couldn't tip much because they didn't over exceed my expectations in service, but the cooks, made big size portions, perfect nutrition balance, almost no ingredients that my body would fight against ; gluten, processed chemicals, good eats. Just service was lacking a bit. Could have been a full 5 stars.

Decided on a whim to try this place while visiting my mom. Mom is in a wheelchair and requires allergy-friendly options. We were pleasantly surprised to find several allergy-friendly foods including fries, which are fried in a separate fryer from seafood and also separate for gluten-free dishes. Our server, Julie was fantastic and had great recommendations. Highly recommended!
Ps. Try the Wagyu Beef Ravioli! Delicious.

I’ve always loved coming here. Today was probably my 6th-8th visit, and I can say with confidence that Hello Nori is very consistent. The yellowtail hand roll with Shiso leaf added is my favourite. The by the glass sake options are great and they all pair well with the rolls. Lisa was my server today and she was excellent. She checked in lots and made sure that the chef was aware of my gluten intolerance. Gold star for Hello Nori, I will be back!
