We visited on what seemed to be a particularly busy day, which unfortunately affected the overall experience. Tables hadn’t been cleared, and it felt like the staff were either stretched too thin or not effectively managed. That said, the gluten-free menu was impressive and offered plenty of options, which we really appreciated. I ordered the Buds Bowl, which sounded great on the menu, but it arrived missing key ingredients—there was no roasted squash or pomegranate seeds. With only one server visibly working and clearly overwhelmed, it was impossible to get their attention, and no one checked in to see how our meal was. Since we had to pay before eating, there was no opportunity to raise the issue or have it resolved, which left us feeling a bit disappointed. We’re keen to try the chain again at a different location because of the excellent gluten-free options, but we won’t be returning to this particular site.

HUGE gluten free menu and absolutely delicious. I had the steak sandwich which was so yummy and smooth. The service was incredible and the view is great if you enjoy people watching. Definitely recommend for a nice lunch in the city centre.

I love going to The Lounges because of their huge gluten free menu. Ive been to a few and this did not disappoint. The food was great, a wide variety of gluten free options with a dedicated menu. The cocktails are always great and it's a nice cosy atmosphere. The staff are always friendly too.

I have been to a few of the restaurants owned by “The lounge” and everytime I have been glutened I’ve had to ask about so many things on the GF menu even the coleslaw which by the way at the time wasn’t gluten free….the food is always amazing however I feel the risk is quite high for coeliacs like myself….

As with many Lounges this is a must visit! They have an extensive gluten free menu. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. Always order at the bar to ensure they can put it through as an allergy order.

We had an amazing lunch here. I’m coeliac, my menu choices were explained and plentiful. We had prawn nachos to start. They were amazing! I had a beautifully cooked steak with garlic butter and Parmesan cheese. The lamb Kleftico pie looked outstanding. Outstanding, friendly service. Can’t wait to go back!

We ate there last Wednesday - the food was very nice and the service was very good. Mario and the kitchen team paid attention to my colleague's complex allergies and made a meal that was adapted for her. There are lots of chain restaurants in the Bay, but we came here because when I was phoning around to see who could take a group of 12 and handle one person's allergies respectfully without making her look demanding in front of new colleagues, Mario answered the phone and demonstrated what professional customer service should look like. He knew immediately what Cote's team would be able to do and didn't over-promise but gave me confidence that my colleague would not be left hungrily watching people eat and would not be made to feel bad for having allergies. I had been unpleasantly surprised that other restaurants did not respond as kindly as Mario. My colleague said Cote are usually pretty good, including a good gluten free menu. The food was well presented and well seasoned and the other staff were attentive too. Bottled water was a bit pricey. The restaurant was easily accessible for my colleague who cannot use stairs as it is quite well spaced out and flat.

First time here and it was great. The staff are friendly and it's nice and cosy inside with paintings by local artists. The food was tasty and they have a few gluten free options too - I got the gluten free bacon roll which was very nice. Would definitely come back again, a nice chill atmosphere, perfect for sunny days and a pint.

The burgers are just delish!! I’m gluten intolerant and my girlfriend takes on board eating gluten free meals too when we’re out (so we can share). I absolutely love trying the food that i haven’t seen anywhere else. The gluten free korean fried chicken burger. IS A MUST TRY. the iced lattes are just another level. I really love hudo lounge and the staff… THE STAFF. are just incredible, they’re not too in your face, it’s very much we’ll let you actually enjoy your food.

Called in after a cinema visit, we were a party of 7 and the accommodated us with no problem. The service was great and the menu was amazing and absolutely catered to some of our parties dietary need of vegetarian and gluten free. Nice chain restaurant. Staff were friendly and considering it was an event night and they were packed, they were attentive. Impressed with their allergy process, the manager took my order, they were all aware and they informed and helped me rather than gave me a massive book to look through. Super impressed they had vegan and gluten free fajitas, which were yummy. Very nice Pina Colada too. Over all a thumbs up for allergy awareness, food options, atmosphere and service. The only improvement would be to have vegan sour cream

Lovely pub with warm, friendly service. Visited here for breakfast and Sunday lunch during a trip to Pembrokeshire. 5 star all around. We came for a wedding but will definitely be back. Having spent a whole weekend Friday -Sunday night at the hotel and eating every meal there I feel like we got a good feeling for the place and we're really impressed. Friday night they were able to feed us as a whole party with ease and no fuss, everything arrived as expected and they allowed us to all pay separately. Handled it much better than so many restaurants I've been to that can't cope with large groups. They have all allergens marked on the menu which was really appreciated and they had a good range available for gluten and dairy free which was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their food and the staff were brilliant. Saturday and Sunday were more of the same, excellent staff, excellent venue, excellent food. Sunday we ate outside for lunch. If you want a roast you need to eat inside but pub food was available for the picnic benches on the green in front. A lovely place to sit and watch the animals wander by. We stayed in the self catering accommodation, all looks brand new and of a very high standard. I'd recommend for families as it was lovely to have space to sit in the living room and if you're on the ground floor there was a garden with chairs and a table. If you got both ground floor apartments you can open a gate between both gardens. If you're in self catering, breakfast is obviously not included in the price but we were able to pay to eat breakfast in the hotel no problem. Everything was so good, but final note, if you're looking for a wedding venue, it was brilliant, I'd very much recommend it. The big room for weddings was not too noisy with everyone talking which is appreciated and there's gorgeous gardens behind the pub. The wedding part is all behind the main pub so the pub could operate as normal and the wedding/ guests etc was all segregated behind with it's own bar etc which I liked. Ample parking, there was a min car park with Electric Vehicle/ EV charger as well as parking for the self catering next to that accommodation. Overflow car parking happens in front of the hotel. It was very popular and busy all weekend so I have a suspicion that booking a table ahead may be sensible or coming off peak.

Having called in for coffee, shakshuka and gluten free sausage sandwich on our way over to Anglesey. We were compelled to call in again and enjoy the great atmosphere, superb service and food. My husband had to go again for shakshuka, I tried the light breakfast and spiced chai with lactose free milk. Great value for money and great meal. Thanks to Phil and the girls.

We had the Tapas , lovely portion & really tasty. I've heard very mixed reviews on Waldo Lounge so was somewhat apprehensive on trying the food but personally can't fault it. Really nice menu - something other than the ordinary to try on there & this is including a very big drinks menu- the cocktails sound amazing. Love the decor and overall atmosphere it's very quirky inside , also a big space plenty of seats. There is also alot of vegetarian options and gluten free.

It was an okay meal, didn't appear to be too busy when we went (Sunday lunch). we did have to prompt the waitstaff for our drinks to be brought over after waiting 15minutes. Food was brought to the table with a bit of a wait inbetween each person which left half the table 1/3 eaten before the rest to avoid going cold. Gluten free option available as menu states "can be made gluten free" but make sure to check the sides, im glad I did as one did contain gluten. Be mindful to check that they remove your deposit from the bill, as they hadn't removed ours and we had to show the verification that it had been paid as they hadn't noted it on our booking.
