We went for happy hour and are immediately obsessed. $6 house margarita, fantastic. $3 street tacos, delicious. They have a community table, beautiful patio, nice music. Menu specifies dairy free, vegetarian option, gluten free, and spicy.

Eating and drinking outside is an option and is pleasant. If ordering to go beers or ciders can be ordered as well. Gluten free is offered and is tasty

This is a little hidden gem in North Beach. There are cooked and raw vegan and gluten free options. We ordered the raw sampler to share. It is very filling. The rye bread for the Rueben was so good! And loved the kale chips. Also their n/a cocktails are sophisticated – not mixed juices with a splash of club soda. Our server was super friendly!
Please support these all vegan establishments!
A bit pricey but offers a cozy vibe with light, refreshing drinks and decent food, perfect for a casual dinner after a day out.

This place was great, the staff were attentive and kind. I ordered Seafood Fettuccine and it was amazing. My boyfriend is gluten free and he was catered for too!

Cute small place, recommend checking for reservations first. There were 2 of us and we sat at the bar, it was still great. Great food and service. If gluten free, don’t have nacho chips even though they are corn, fried in oil used for gluten options. Highly recommend chicken tacos!
Very helpful with my wheat allergy. Made sure to tell me what was gluten free and adjusted my order to be sure there wasn’t contamination (not a gluten free kitchen though, of course).
Dig into a unique dining experience where you can enjoy flavorful dishes and traditional hand-eating, plus a chill vibe that makes it special.

I enjoyed the kitfo, which was far milder and less salty than I am used to, but comforting for me. I'd call it homey; the kind if thing I could see myself eating regularly for a long time.
I liked the gluten free injera, which was lighter than I am used to and less sour, but had a decent consistency.
Collards were nice.
Service was struggling to keep up. There was a large party. I came alone, and sat at the bar, and that was alright. They were apologetic, which I didn't need. That's to say, it wad not a perfect experience, but I liked it.
Enjoy a cozy atmosphere with tasty tapas, delicious sangria, and a great vibe perfect for a relaxed date or conversations.

If you’re celiac, the staff is very knowledgeable of the gluten free items on the menu, there’s a good selection of tapas and the paellas are also gluten free. The sangria is delicious, great place for a chill date and good conversation.

Visited for a Saturday dinner. You can make reservations on Resy for indoor or outdoor seating (free cancellation up to 3 hours before otherwise a $10/person fee). I put in a request to sit in their beautiful plant atrium, which they were able to accommodate.
Small menu but lots of gluten free options, some vegetarian, and some dishes can be made vegan. I got the Risotto ala Milanese and my friend got the Double Cheeseburger with fried egg. We both also got the featured 2022 pride drink Blue Ivy and shared the duck fat fries.
The duck fries were perfectly crispy and had an amazing flavor! We both really liked our cocktails as well. Unfortunately my risotto was rather bland and both entrees were on the smaller side. Would only return for those fries and to try some of their other cocktails
Vibrant atmosphere with hearty dishes served a bit haphazardly, making for a memorable dining experience perfect for gatherings.

My recent lunch at Fang was a wonderful food experience. We were a group of nine from my department and we chose individual dishes that included dumplings and eggplant, mapo tofu, short ribs, sesame chicken, a gluten-free Mongolian beef, and a fish dish with zucchini I will order the next time. The fried rice was mixed at the table. I ordered the tofu (a spicy dish with tofu, vegetables and pork) and it was perfection.
It's not cheap and it's not very fancy but the service was prompt for ordering. The only quibble was that the dishes came out one at a time dinette erratically with the short ribs way last.
I had been there long before and liked it then, returning for my retirement lunch, I liked it again. I won't forget this restaurant for future rec omendations. Sorry i don't take photos.
Great neighborhood wine pub that is interest for happy hour or dinner. The wine flights are a great value and come in adorable little mason jars with labels. The menu has great gluten free and veggie options. I really enjoy the tater tots. 😀

A little tight between tables and on the louder side but otherwise an enjoyable experience. Chicken Parmesan was delicious. Smaller drink and food menu but appreciate the gluten free pasta. The staff were very on top of water refills and bussing.

Fantastic Mexican food with generous servings at good prices. Decor isn't fancy but service is friendly and fast. Friendly for gluten, dairy, soy etc. allergies. Specifically visit here whenever we see friends in the San Francisco area. Do not miss out on the margaritas!

Excellent food, service, ambiance. Very good and varied gluten free options. Hard to find service this good anywhere. Food was cooked precisely— lettuce was great on the salad, steak was temped to the degree. Very good martini. A rarity to find a restaurant this well orchestrated at any price.

Delicious brunch, friendly staff, lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.
I requested gluten free, host recommended a few options - tomato soup, smashed potatoes, and the smoked salmon toast replaced with a bed of gem salad.
Delicious and so lovely.
Highly recommend Krua Thai. Excellent, affordable Thai food in the Mission with a wide variety of options and very accommodating of gluten free dietary needs. I usually get the panang curry, pad thai, or fried rice. All are excellent. For both dine-in and take-out, the staff are attentive, kind, and efficient. Thanks Krua!

Was a good option nearby union Square and a block from the cable car. Pricey as everything around but the service was very good, food was ok (nothing outstanding and just a few GF options). If are celiac look somewhere else.
Visited Destino for SF restaurant week and wasn’t disappointed!
Bruce was our waiter and he was friendly, approachable and went above and beyond. There were plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options as well.
The wine menu was ample and the pisco was delicious!
Would definitely recommend even if you’re just going for a drink!
Only thing that could be improved is the yucca fries, they had the string/veins cooked in them which made them hard to eat.
An amazing spot with incredible homemade pasta options and attentive service that keeps diners coming back for more.

This was a wonderful experience! The food was incredible, with homemade pasta for my husband and a gluten free noodle option for me, which can be applied to most of their pasta dishes!
(They also kindly let me know that there may be cross contamination, so if you are celiac, I would tread carefully, though I felt fine after subbing the gf pasta in the Fettuccine al Pesto, which was wonderful!)
The service was pleasant, quick, and attentive as well, overall, will definitely be going back!

I’m French and I like good food !
Warm welcome from the chef, excellent service, recommandations such as the pear cocktail, the wine Cabernet franc and venison were amazing. Staff, atmosphere, and the most important the food were all excellent. In addition of that, my wife has a strong gluten free diet, and they made sure to offer her some delicious alternative. Thank you to chef Dolan, the staff for a beautiful evening.

I am visiting from Toronto, I stopped here with my sister for dinner. From the beginning to end the staff were amazing, the dinner service and food were also excellent. Chris was very accommodating regarding our gluten allergy and assured our food was safe (and delicious). Our server Ally was very attentive and did a great job taking care of us. This is a great restaurant with a good menu and reasonable prices, I definitely recommend.

The place is excellent with a friendly staff, cool vibe and good food. I got a hamburger with fries and they were accommodating about making it gluten free.
I took away one star because if you are on the same side of the street, you most likely will not be able to find the place. There is a sign, but it's only visible from the opposite side of the street. The entrance is hidden down at the end of an unmarked alleyway.
This place is to die for! The ceviche nikkei and octopus were beyond amazing and the sushi rolls were delicious as well.
Plus, they have gluten free soy sauce and so many gluten free items on their menu. Top notch!
Not clear that there is much here that is gluten free but waitress knew what it meant and suggested the pad Thai which was tasty.
Lounge-y and loud fun place.

Of course you have to get the tea leaf salad, but the seafood consommé and whole branzino with fermented tea leaf chimichurri were excellent. The interior space is sexy and well though out. Also very gluten-free and diet friendly. Definitely a great add to Hayes Valley.
Came for happy hour. Excellent oysters and poke. Great service. Gluten free no prob. Could really use a few better wine options. Atmosphere a bit lacking.

Incredibile meal. The service was lovely, in a sweet cozy environment looking out over the street. But even with these points, the food was the star. The leeks and the beef bourguignon were out of this world. I advised the server that I couldn’t eat gluten and she took great care of me. Highly recommend!
