My family had an amazing meal at Cowfish. As someone with gluten sensitivity, it's so hard to find safe foods. It was very comforting when the waitress asked if anyone had allergies before even taking our drink orders. The menu has something for everyone & there are some very interesting combinations. All-in-all, the food was delicious & the atmosphere was very fun & celebratory. We had a wonderful time!

Love Brixx. Since my discovery in 2023, I've been 6 times when I've been around the Raleigh area. I have Celiac, and they have 2 types or GF crust. I have not had a problem. The servers are well educated and helpful in ordering. The price is a lot for the size, and until there is a big shake up in the restaurant industry, as a gluten-free diner, we know we pay extra to stay safe. The wings go well with the pizza, too.
A cozy spot with a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for groups and offering delicious, uniquely topped pizzas made with seasonal ingredients.

I’ve been back twice and had the Buffalo cauliflower and gluten free pizza. The cauliflower is great and the GF pizza is delicious. I suspect the regular crust pizza is better but if you’re trying to reduce your wheat flour intake and want some pizza, this GF pizza will scratch that itch. My original review is below…
Let me clear, I’m not a beer drinker. If I drink beer I prefer a very hoppy, dank, bitter IPA. I have not had one like that from Trophy but I’ve not been looking either. I did come in to try the Detroit style pizza (only available on Monday and Tuesday). I lived in Dearborn, MI for 4 years, 1 mile from Detroit and Detroit pizza was Buddy’s Pizza. The crust was basically crispy focaccia bread with cheese and sauce built around the edges that gets a crispy burn and gives Detroit pizza its signature style. I love Buddy’s Pizza. There are only a couple East Coast pizzas I like better than Buddy’s so Buddy’s is a top 5 all time favorite pizza for me. Trophy’s Detroit style pizza tastes like Buddy’s. I mean it totally scratches the itch I sometimes get when craving Buddy’s pizza. Mmmmmm.
Service was great. Meagan was attentive and helpful. We made reservations and were seated immediately at a table in the AC. If you love Detroit style pizza, this is destination dining in the Carolinas. Finally, the cocktails were good too. Old fashioned with a solid well and my wife had a house gin cocktail she let me sip that was lovely.
A diverse and regularly changing menu offers quality options, though portions might feel a bit small for some, making it a cozy choice.

I have always loved this place they meet gluten and vegetarian digestions. Their menu is short yet diverse and they change it on a regular basis. The quality of food is good. However, the portions can be on the smaller side, but is plenty enough for me not likely to have any to take home
Vibrant spot with a diverse menu where delicious dishes shine and service goes the extra mile, making every visit feel special.

Got their unique pork burger with the candied bacon and blueberry ketchup on a gluten free bun. It was absolute perfection and a great size. Gf bun was also good. Not the Udi brand that falls apart. Gf crème brûlée Cheesecake was also good. Thank you!

Gluten free meal options are available as well as ciders. I had Mojo Pork Tacos (pictured). The three small tacos came with an orange and green sauce and were good. I’m not sure what they were since they were not named on the menu, but the orange sauce was SPICY! I’ve been a few times and more times than not the beverage I’ve selected on the menu was out of stock when I requested it, but the server was quick to make alternative suggestions. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we really enjoyed the outside seating area with so many shopping options nearby.
Chill spot with an enjoyable vibe; options are decent but could use more variety to excite your taste buds.

Nice restaurant with good food. I'm not a bourbon drinker so didn't like any of the drink specials. All the food was very good, and they have a great gluten free selection. Service was great!

The front of house staff were very friendly but unfortunately there were hardly any gluten free options. The fryer (and all apps except one) were cross contaminated, and few entrees were exclusively gluten free even with modifications. Ended up with a burger (which was delicious), but no fries etc.
This spot offers a vibrant atmosphere with a mix of seating options, a great drink selection, and a focus on quality ingredients.

Always awesome!
Food quality is excellent
Service is excellent
Alot of great options on the menu to choose from. They definitely focus more on the ingredients and quality. Much better choice than other local places by far!
Portion sizes are just right but bring your appetite and try a few things..you can always bring it home.
Atmosphere is excellent. Nicely done inside. Well lit, clean, updated and they offer various style seating sections and Tvs if needed to watch something.
It's usually crowded but they will do their best to get you seated.
Has a bar, many drink options so no worries there! I am sure you will find what you need!
Outside seating; they also have an outside section that is definitely worth choosing. Very nice ambiance and set up..heaters all over if it's cold but on a nice night it's worth it
Price: better quality food, excellent cooking and worth the price.
Definitely frequent Wakefield Tavern. One of the best out there.
Gluten free options are one of the best out there.
Pasta, pizzas are delicious.
Overall; Head over and enjoy...certainly worth it!
Always a good time. I wish they had more gluten free beer options, but at least they had a Glutenberg and a Green's. The nachos were pretty good and a great compliment to the late night trivia.

I was excited to try this place because they had 2 dedicated vegan options, that also just galen to be gluten free. I could either get the blue corn tortilla tacos or the enchiladas. Both came with nopales (cactus) and black beans. I chose the tacos, simply becauseI'm not typically a big fan of green tomatillo sauce, which was on the enchiladas.
The tacos were very good and extremely filling. I feel they could have used more veggies in them and less beans though, for my personal preference, because the beans are pretty salty.
We also got the guac and chips as an appetizer, and the guac was pretty darn good!
I decided to try their Cadillac Margarita and was happy I did. Very flavorful and strong. Definitely not one of those weak ones with the electric neon green fake mix I've seen at other places.
The atmosphere really has some cool touches and the building itself is a fantastic architectural design.
If you haven't checked this place out yet, I highly suggest it!
The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. for someone who has celiac and his vegetarian, it's probably not the best option. But they did have a fantastic beet salad I could eat, so I appreciated that.

For over a decade, I have enjoyed my finest celebrations in life with Poole's Dinner. The ambiance is energetic and like a step back in time with the 40s decore. Thank you to the staff for never disappointing, always being kind, and exceeding expectations.
My partner and I headed out to Raleigh to celebrate my new job. An especially trying year sent packing with one exquisite meal.
To start, we had the tuna tartar. The NC tuna was beyond the quality you'd expect at a sushi bar. The tuna was perfectly chopped but not to a paste. It was wonderfully dressed with cider aioli and topped with ripe, creamy avocado. The tobiko provided a delightful pop and brininess. The chicken liver pate is my favorite starter Poole's serves. The mustards are fantastic, and the compote is a perfect pairing with the smooth and luscious pate. All this was served with seasoned cucumber slices to accommodate my partners gluten allergy. Again, kindness prevails at Poole's.
Our main was simply the best tenderloin I've ever tasted. I'm not a tenderloin fan, but this blew me away by the endless flavor. Usually lacking in a tenderloin, in my opinion, but not on this occasion. The meat was velvet on the tongue and melted into an amazing bite with the garlic and spicy carrot top chimmichurri that it was paired with. Served with brown butter carrots, fingerling potatoes, crunchy spiced pine nuts, and finished with a bed of tangy whipped feta. The final exquisite touch was a perfectly salty and savory sauce.
My partner had the triple smoked au jus roasted chicken. She refuses to get anything else and has said it is her final meal request. LoL the chicken was paired with the lightest, creamiest whipped potatoes. Worth another mention is the amazingly deep and rich au jus.
For our "Nexts" we had to order the house specialty, Mac and cheese. As my company couldn't partake due to gluten, the waitress was so kind as to ask for a half portion for myself. Again, kindness. We also enjoyed the cauliflower with oyster mushrooms, sherry, and cream. Surprisingly, this side was one of the stars of the show, and I am definitely making this side for the holidays. A new tradition begins.
We didn't have room for dessert this go-a-round, but the creme de pot is always a win no matter the variation, and the chefs cobblers are devine. I so desired the banana and chocolate pie, but alas, my waistline pleaded to stop.
Please treat yourself if you are in town, or celebrating, or just want to experience amazingly crafted food. They are expanding this week, which is great news for us faithful. More seats for us all to enjoy Ashley Christensen's creative southern cooking, served by talented and helpful staff. Thank you, Poole's dinner, for once again, making a special night more memorable and with... kindness.

This is the best food hall in Raleigh. Every single place has incredible food, and they're all very kind and helpful with food sensitivities.
For gluten free food, I love the empanadas, yatai, and chhotes.
Friends and family who don't have dietary restrictions have tried dumplings from bulbox, ramen and pork buns from yatai, and cookies and ice cream. All have been a hit.

I had the veggie ramen and it was absolutely delicious and I completely recommend. The reason for the low rating is because they charge $2 to swap ramen for rice noodles. Rice noodles are cheaper but there’s still an up charge just because I can’t eat gluten

We were in town for a day and we wanted to get a easy quick bite. Our sever was super friendly and the vibe and atmosphere of the place is really cool. We ordered the Kickin’ Grilled Chicken and the Meatball sub. My daughter enjoyed her sub (we’re definitely spoiled by NJ meatballs) and the grilled chicken sandwhich was not exactly kicking, but it was decent. I can’t speak to the pizza because we didn’t try it. All and all not a bad spot to grab a bite. Kudos though for having gluten free bread - that was awesome.
This is a great spot to watch sports, eat really good food, and drink good beer! I had gluten-free pizza there yesterday, and it was delicious. The service was great, and my husband and I very much enjoyed our time!
Good gluten free selection for celiacs. Many of the side items are not gluten-free, that's the issue. Make sure you check with your server and if they're not 100% sure yet a manager to verify it, things like the rice are gluten free. Excellent food though
Excellent cuisine using local, fresh ingredients; I love eating here. Most importantly for me, having a gluten allergy, is that the wait staff is very knowledgeable and will double-check with the kitchen as to what they can do for me and modify a dish to meet my needs. I can have delicious food there and not worry about gluten.
We got here at 8pm for our reservations and then got seated. We got our menus, and were given a QR code to scan for drinks. The QR code led to the beverages page on their website, which gave an error message. It seems like someone had quite literally deleted the page off the website. Then we were told by the waiter to keep trying it, which obviously didn’t work. We proceeded to wait 15+ minutes until we actually ordered our meals. Anyways, we sit for over an hour waiting for our food and eventually get our meals at 9:30pm. The food was decent at best and was not worth anywhere near the price. We finished up and asked for to-go containers, which we got, and then we were left unattended for 15+ minutes without the bill. We felt like we were forgotten about, and considered leaving. Then, finally, the waiter came with the bills and there were only two bills but there were four of us there. He didn’t ask if we wanted bills separate or together, he assumed. We signed the bills quickly so we could finally leave.
Later at home, I realized the receipt wasn’t for my meal and I was doubled charged for a single drink. I also felt very ill and realized that I had eaten gluten at the restaurant, even though everything I ate was listed on the gluten-free menu. I cannot eat gluten due to Celiac Disease. If I had to guess, the chips were fried in the same fryers as gluten-containing foods.
Overall, I am incredibly unhappy with the experience that I had here, especially because they portray themselves as being an upscale restaurant.
Great service and great food! I took a first generation Mexican American friend of mine who is very picky about Mexican food and he loved it too. I have been here for lunch a few times but never for dinner. Lunch service is fast with good size portions. Parking is not bad, there is easy handy cap access. The outdoor seating is great. Lots of options if you need to minimize gluten or meat. Drink menu seems like fun even though I have not had the opportunity to enjoy any of their beverages.
A great spot with plenty of options for those with specific dietary needs, featuring attentive service and a welcoming vibe for families.

We had family in town visiting and decided made reservations for brunch at this place. I cannot regret it enough. My husband and I both are gluten free. When we placed our orders we specifically asked for gluten free items. I myself repeated it 2 more times. My husband ordered his order of GLUTEN FREE French toast with no bananas. Our waitress even asked if wanted the powdered sugar and maple syrup. He said yes and repeated “gluten free French toast, no bananas”.
Everyone else in our party proceed to place their orders. The service was EXTREMELY slow to begin with. When the orders finally came, the food was cold. We didn’t complain because it had taken so long to begin with. The girl who placed my order down on the table had an AirPod in her ear. When she sat it down in front of me I asked her if it was gluten free. She didn’t respond. She kept giving everyone else their order. I asked her again , still no response. I tried to get her attention and either she really could not hear because of the AirPod that should not have been in her ear to begin with or she was ignoring me.
Several other people in my party tried to get her attention to confirm for me until one just tapped her. I asked her again was it gluten free. She said “yeah” without even giving it a second thought or looking to make sure. I asked her how she could tell. She said “it’s on the bottom of the plate”. I assumed it was something the staff knew because all of the plates looked the same to us. I took one fork of the biscuit and immediately knew it wasn’t gluten free.
Meanwhile, our waitress still hadn’t come back to make sure our orders were good or even received. So I just waited while everyone else in my party picked over their food. My husband began to eat his “gluten free” French toast during that time. Approximately 4-5 minutes later our waitress finally walks over. I asked her was my order gluten free. She looks and then frowns and says no. I didn’t know you wanted gluten free. Mind you I stressed it to her several times. Then I asked her was my husband’s French toast gluten free. She again has the same “puzzled” look and says “no, I didn’t know he wanted gluten free also”. Again we had a whole conversation with her prior to even placing our orders. She takes both orders back to redo them. She didn’t ask if we’d be okay or anything and gave us a very weak if any at all apology.
Again I sat and waited. During this time, everyone else has finished their cold food, even my husband who luckily for him had ordered something else along with the side of French toast. When my order finally did come, everyone was done and ready to go. Again, there was no apology for the misunderstandings. Guess what??? The new order was cold as well. Fast forward to now, both my husband and I have had negative reactions to the gluten and are driving home to take something for our headaches and upset stomachs. Thankfully, we wont require any medical trips behind their actions.
On top of it all, the bill was still charged for EVERYTHING. We will NEVER ever go back to Parkside and we will be sure to spread the word to everyone we know. The service, food, and staff attentiveness to customers and their dietary needs is TERRIBLE! They say never say never, but we have all concluded that we will never go back to this establishment.
Alli is the best server!!! She was so kind and fun, advised me on a lovely gluten free meal option and her service was quick and efficient. What a great first experience at this Irish Pub!
Great all you can eat sushi place. We went for lunch and got a bunch of rolls, nigiri and appetizers for $18 a person. The price also includes tea and ice cream! ☺️ It’s very calm and quiet inside. Service is super fast and helpful. Knowledgeable and considerate of allergies – they have gluten free soy sauce if you ask.

Our group of 6 enjoyed our Sunday night dinner. First a suggestion - when it is only half full inside, the TV volume should be turned down to a reasonable level. We could barely hear each other's conversation even when yelling while sitting at a round table for six. Far too loud. Now the good - Large beer selection, and the food was good, great service. Servers were very attentive and while they brought out the wrong flavor of wings, they fixed it quickly. Highly recommended. We enjoyed the boom boom shrimp, wings, regular and gluten free pizzas.
