Best restaurant experience I have had in so long. Delicious food, chill atmosphere and kind/accommodating waitstaff. I’m celiac and I felt taken care of and didn’t get sick after the meal. It’s been a week and I’m still thinking about the Dry-fried Spicy Steak Slices Seasoned With Cumin and all the other amazing dishes we had. I cannot wait to go back next time I visit Philly <3

We have been to Charlie's multiple times and always enjoyed delicious food, great drinks, and awesome service each time. I wanted to specifically highlight that this an amazing place to go for people with food allergies. We went a few weekends ago with my MIL and our family, and we had made a reservation ahead of time that noted my MIL's significant food allergies (corn, gluten, wheat, and dairy). Before we came, they did extra cleaning of the restaurant to avoid cross-contamination and management had briefed the team and our waiter on her allergies. When we arrived they had a special menu prepared for her with all the items she could eat so we didn't have to ask about every one. We ordered lots of food and we all loved our dishes. As each dish came out the waiter noted which had allergens and which didn't so we could easily make sure she got what she needed. She had no reactions and said it was one of the best meals she's ever had. Thank you so much Charlie's for making this so special for us! We will be coming back every time she visits.

Went on a Thursday night and sat in the patio. Music was playing. They have happy hour till 7. Great 3 dollar tacos. And a huge portion of the menu is dairy, gluten free or both. Really delicious food

Quaint little restaurant bar atmosphere. The menu is awesome, but very few options for a celiac gal like myself. The curry deviled eggs were amazing. Gluten is a whole vibe there, so those who can, enjoy!

This was our first time here, and what an amazing dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles. I chose the vedge experience to try 3 dishes and desert for $65/person. All the plates were not only uniquely thought through and delicious, but also presented like works of art. I really enjoyed the creative balance of flavors they used from only plant sources that even mimicked non-vegetarian dishes I've had before. Menu rotates seasonal so I will be returning soon and is well accomodating for gluten free patrons. An experience well worth trying

Great service and food. The spicy guacamole is delicious and the dirty veg tacos are great! Our favorite by far though was the mango Panna cotta paired with passionfruit sorbet. Amazing! The outside seating area is lovely! they also have lots of gluten-free options!

I am a new lover of Veda! After coming here with a friend over the weekend I decided to return for lunch this week. I was so happy to find out they had specials for restaurant week! The fish pakora was so good I literally wrote home to mom about it! As someone with dietary restrictions finding a place to eat can be hard, but Veda has loads of clearly labeled gluten free options. Their fish is sumptuous and flavorful. I also got the fish moylee and the sauce was so good I could swim in it! I totally enjoyed everything I had. Everything tasted very fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Apart from the food the service was wonderful. My waiter was kind and attentive at every point throughout my meal. It’s great when food tastes good and even better when service stands out. My waiter, Khemraj, was so kind and helpful I will make it a point to stop by again sometime this week when he is working. Do yourself a favor a stop by Veda. Whether you’re by yourself, on a date, or with a friend- you’ll be glad you did!

My husband and I decided to come here yesterday for a last minute night out and we have 2 complaints - 1. The menu on their website reads as if they have gluten free pasta and pizza options because both sections are not marked with the “cannot be made GF” asterisk. I am gluten free so this was a let down. I definitely recommend management update the website to be more clear. 2. Our cocktails were bad. We each had one of the signature cocktails and felt like they were unusually sweet. We then got 2 dirty martinis and they were very bad. We had asked the waitress if they were served in chilled glasses and she said yes but that was not true. The martinis we received were warm and not dirty. Could barely drink them. Our food was tasty and the service was good so I hope next time is better on the cocktail front!

I love the food at Sedona, especially the crab cakes! i love having so many gluten free choices on the menu, including drinks like ciders and GF beer! As a person with celiac, this is not a common experience at restaurants.

Went to Fat Head's for dinner and the GF Codfather didn’t disappoint, even threw in a gluten free Ghostfish Brewing Company beer. I can’t tell you the last time my wife had either of those out! She has celiac and is super sensitive and didn’t have any side effects, even today!!

We had a fabulous dinner here. They had the best gluten free options ever! I cannot believe that I was able to enjoy fried chicken bites and steak crostini and it was all sans gluten. Thank you Black Forest Brewery for providing these options.

Everyone was wonderful! Our waitress asked the chef if he could make a meal I wanted gluten free, and they did! It was amazing! Both my husband and I had wonderful time!

I must say ,it is worth the drive ,must go at least once if not more! I hope to travel back in the future at some point. By far my favorite burger joint, u can pick not only from specific items specified on the menu you have the opportunity to customize your own Burger! They do offer vegetables on the menu however it is limited and they do cater to specific allergies.They offer gluten free bun, if u want a bun. Also offer different meat options. Organic beef, to bison, waygu, elk. . Got to check them out! Find out for yourself, the ONLY disappointment was the in house chips lacked flavor, and the slaw was lacking flavor as well. The service was thorough, on point and great at explaining and answering questions.

The waitress we had for our group of 6 was wonderful ! I wish I could remember her name! I have celiacs and she made sure that the kitchen new and also double checked everything for me! She was also very educated on the cross contamination( not many people know) .

As a Celiac there's few places I feel this safe eating at. Gluten-free items are clearly marked on the menu and employees will immediately take note if you state you have an allergy. The chips are in their own fryer, which is wonderful given that many Mexican restaurants have shared fryers that aren't Celiac/ gluten allergy-friendly. I also love the atmosphere (fun, vibrant art and very friendly waitstaff) and the food is DELICIOUS! Prices are very fair for portion size, especially for nachos and bowls. 10/10 recommend!

Pretty impressed. Stopped in for lunch after checking out of Our hotel in Hershey. They apparently have a gluten free fryer. Wife got a burger & fries she loved. I got a Cobb salad, & the kiddo got a burger. Food was pretty good. The atmosphere was nice, there was a good amount of people there, & a bunch of families too. Walking in the hostess was pleasant when she greeted you + they had balloons for the kiddos. The parking lot looked like a mess. Kind of sketchy looking. Overall the experience in the restaurant was nice. Recommend if you're in the area.

We were kind of find a breakfast place our last day there and we were going to Nikki’s but they were closed and a businessman saw that we were frustrated and recommended the speckled egg in the PGH building Oh my gosh! What an amazing building and the restaurant bar is in the rotunda of the building so you get a great view of the dome inside spectacular view. We ordered breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. I honestly have to say it was one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had dining out, made me fall in love with Pittsburgh , every meal we’ve had was delicious The service was impeccable, very friendly, knowledgeable, and good at recommending food for someone who has a gluten intolerance I had the hen hash with gluten-free toast absolutely delicious!

MANAGER DESERVES A BIG SHOUT-OUT! Keep reading…. Celebrated my birthday tonight with my family tonight. Food was very good. Service was good too. Had a very fun time. Ordered an espresso martini and enjoyed a gluten-free seafood platter. Again, all very good. The best part of the night it is when the waitress told us that the manager was giving us a free meal. When we asked why she said he does that from time to time to families with children. The money part aside, it was extremely touching. My daughter happens to be handicapped, can’t talk or walk at 11 years old. He didn’t know that. Just an extremely thoughtful gesture. Definitely will return.

I’ve heard a lot of great things about Middle Child from random Social Media posts and decided to stop bye to see what the rave was about. When I walked in, it was SUPER PACKED and after trying it myself, I can see why. During my visit I tried the Strawberry Milk Matcha, Pastrami, Egg, & Cheese, and “Olivia’s Big Pancake” and long story short, it was all delicious. Although it was very packed, the staff still made sure that I was comfortable and it was very clean. One of the things that stood out to me the most was an employee named Jason. He was the person who placed my order at the register and he was very kind and informative. Another note I’d like to add is that the Menu is very easy to read and even has color coding on items that were vegetarian friendly and have the option to be gluten free. I’d give them 10/10 stars but I can only give 5 haha.

We just celebrated my sisters birthday and Jamie, our server, managed our large table with efficiency and top notch service. I have a gluten intolerance and everyone was so conscientious that I felt totally comfortable. I had the Mediterranean chicken with the accompanying GF cookie and ice cream and it was delicious. A coworker told me how this place offers options for people with celiacs disease. She only rated this place 1/5 but after eating here, she just must be a real miserable human with absolutely zero taste or redeeming qualities because she was wrong about everything. Food was great. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. The big bird that walks around was nice enough to take pics with my kids. My coworker said the bird wasn’t allowed to take pics because surrounding tables would leave when her kids were visible. But he was happy and willing with my kids! Thanks for a great time!

Do yourself a favor and GO EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT! Third visit yesterday was even better than the first two times :) Sat upstairs again and enjoyed the breeze from the opened doors. Special shout outs to Heidi, our server; to Amato (sorry if I spelled your name wrong); and to the chef. The food is SO good (wish I would have ordered more to take home) and the service flawless. Heidi was attentive, professional, friendly, and her advice on food choices was spot on. We had the grilled Romaine salad (we will ALWAYS order this incredibly delicious salad); two of the specials: Red Pepper Soup with Shrimp and fried Spinach (not a drop left in our bowls) and the Seared Scallops with Asparagus and Risotto (scallops were cooked to perfection and the pesto and spicy chili sauces were perfectly balanced); and steamed clams in bread bowl (plus gluten-free bread for two of us —which Heidi encouraged us to try after we said there is no good GF option for bread. It was great!) So go, you’ll be happy :)

With my severe gluten sensitivity, Red Robin was the one place I could enjoy a good burger. However, yesterday, my GF bun was different. It was hard and extremely hard to chew. The entire sandwich fell apart because of how hard it was to bite through the bun. I then tried eating it with fork and knife and had difficulty cutting through the bun. To make matters worse, I somehow got gluten and have been up all night with diarrhea. I have always loved this restaurant, but I don't think I will be back.

Wouldn't recommend anyone with Celiac to go to as they are careless in most recent service not bringing out dedicated food with the purple allergen friendly marker and having to correct it after being questioned if it's safe or not. Also their drink mixes were way too salty for margaritas.
