Lots of healthy options. I tried their sausage biscuit and Cyprus side salad. The biscuit was good but the salad was stellar! So fresh and delicious. The dressing so light and flavorful. They had lots of gluten free and vegan options. Enjoyed the inside, very warm and inviting.

Came here on Valentine’s Day. My server Lexi made sure my meals would be shellfish and gluten free. Also love how many gluten free options there are too. I had the devils pass dip which was so flavorful and had the cheeseburger which was good too. Also tried the chocolate decadence which is gluten free too, very rich chocolate flavor

I love the food here. It is so flavorful and the portions are nice sized. They are as kids friendly as they can be with the older adult atmosphere. I recommend the burgers. The wine selection is fantastic! They have a great gluten feee menu.

Our waiter Garrett was absolutely fabulous ! Provided professional outstanding service. He was personable, funny and made my birthday dinner with family extra special. Felt like we made a new friend. Tyrek the kitchen manager was also very pleasant to chat with. The food was delicious and so enjoyable ! With great prices. Also appreciated the gluten free options. Visiting from NYC. A great vegetarian/vegan/gluten free option place. It’s a Black owned business that promotes books and creative arts. We started off with Brussel sprouts with Balsamic vinaigrette. It was hot and had a good taste. The latte (not pictured) was very flavorful. Gluten free pancakes had a buttermilk flavor to them but a little stiff. I had the Sweet Potato hash and it was ok, a little stiff bland for me. I would recommend this place and come back on my visit.

I am a regular Korean BBQ eater. Maybe it's not entirely fair to compare Japanese BBQ to Korean, I know different countries entirely, however, being in Northern Virginia it is hard not to compare a similar concept to KBBQ. The atmosphere is great, the meat was delicious, the sides lacked any flavor because they were just regular veggies (corn, not cheese corn, zucchini and cremini mushrooms), it came with a salad and miso that were flavorful. We ordered the value meal for 2 people with one cocktail $14 and a diet coke the total was $106, after tipping 22% I spent $130.. The meat was perfectly marinated and the quality was high, however the portions were insanely SMALL. I left hungry and wishing I went to Kbbq instead but it was an experience. I also noticed all the marinades and sauces were sweet- the sauces on the table were Ponzu, Sweet Soy Sauce and a Spicy Sauce that was also sweet, I found myself wishing for a more savory sauce to balance out all the sweetness. Our server was super friendly and attentive. For example I had taken the lemon from my gfs cocktail and put it in my diet coke, our server noticed and without me saying anything brought me a refill diet coke with a lemon (this didn't go unnoticed!). I personally don't see myself coming back but glad I gave it a try. Oh and I will add that everything we ordered was gluten and dairy free naturally so that was a huge plus.

The tacos were delicious and the service was good. The menu had clear gluten free options and a lot of them too. The tacos are more expensive than average, around $5 each, but worth it because of how tasty they are. I would recommend this place.

We love Capitol Ale House! Kylie was fabulous. The club is my absolute favorite but I've tried many menu items with no complaints. I had to take off a star because of my recent visit. I have a gluten allergy friend who loves Capitol Ale because of the gluten free options. She ALWAYS looks forward to the fries. They had a dedicated air fryer. This was a huge bonus for anyone with a gluten allergy. This has changed sometime recently and unfortunately is longer an option. Bring back the gluten free fry option.

Early 4:30 PM dinner on 5/2/25. * Note: You can use the public parking lot across the street for $6 an hour vs the valet at the restaurant. I don't want kids driving my vehicle. We have been coming to Virginia Beach off/on for 24 years and dining at Waterman's each trip. 3 years since our last visit. Walk in. No reservation. Seated promptly inside as requested. Our standard order for two orange crushes placed. These crushes had very little actual orange taste and more ice than drink. $9.25 each. We have the drink recipe from Waterman's and make them at home regularly with the original Burnett's orange vodka. These crushes were made with the new Waterman's orange branded vodka. Didn't order any more. My wife's salmon salad and crab cake were very good. My lobster tail and sides were also good. A lot of flies inside the restaurant detracted from the meal. *Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do yourself a favor, trust me, flavorful, or kids emojis etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees, but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. We don't care about your allergies, vibes, how "chill" you feel, or the need for gluten free food. **If you see a Google review posted with just stars & no text, report it via the 3 dot selection adjacent to the review. If the text in the review doesn't describe the food/service report it. This cleans up Google reviews and removes the slugs just trying to get reviewer points by marking a star or "paid" reviewers. We stopped by after a busy day. It was late and they were within 30 min of closing. The hostess was gracious and welcomed us with a warm smile and positive energy. Our server was Brandon who made us forget that customer service is a lost art. He was incredibly attentive, had amazing recommendations, and made sure every part of our experience was perfect. We haven’t had a server as good as Brandon in years. We recommend the smoked barrata as an appetizer and their wood fired pizza (so delicious and authentic). We also sampled their gluten free crust which was incredibly light and fluffy…wow! We didn’t have the pasta but it looked amazing. They also have a number of impressive desserts, to include a decadent chocolate soufflé and classic gelato. Good wine list, both by the glass and bottle, at reasonable prices. We will most certainly return.

Well, here is my honest review. When we walked in, there were three employees behind the stand. One was busy on the phone and the other two were just standing around and giggling. We stood there for about a minute and no one acknowledged us. I literally turned around and opened the door and said “I guess they are closed.” (Nigel - you can actually check the camera because it’s a great feedback/teaching moment to your staff.) The two girls still said nothing to us. We stayed because of your Gluten Free options. We got sat and we waited. Then, we waited some more. Then, we flagged down a passing server and inquired where ours was. She told us that she would check. A few moments later, someone appeared at the table. Our server Talina was a bag full of sunshine… NOT. She was mediocre at best. While waiting for our food, we were subjected to the inappropriate music being blasted from the kitchen. (We sat in the booth right in front of the kitchen expo.) Speaking of food, I asked for the pasta with chicken; no mushrooms but substitute broccoli. I was charged $3 for a few measly pieces of it but hey, its 2024. The food overall was very, very good. However, due to the lack of hospitality and pleasant atmosphere, it was a fail in my book. *Bonus tidbit, I called from my seat asking if Nigel was in tonight. They answered “no” to which I replied, it’s clearly evident.

My husband I went here for lunch and it was good I got the the alpine chicken on gf bun and it all tasted so delicious. The bun was it tasted good unlike other places. I felt comfortable that it would be made with caution and it was i got see them cook and handle food where we were seated.

There was only one person waiting all of the tables when we got there, but he was doing an amazing job. I have no idea how he did it. Seemed like a job for multiple people. I was pleased by the number of options available that were, or could be made, vegan and gluten-free. The gluten-free sandwich roll was so big that it overpowered the contents, but the soup and salad were amazing! I just added my salad to my sandwich to make it more substantial.

I called ahead and did a pick-up order. My burger and fries were delicious! I chose a turkey patty and GF bun. Best gluten-free bun I have ever had! The staff was friendly when I entered for pick up. Once they found out I was GF, they pointed out other options for me. I really appreciated that, and I will be back to try them.

The chef and server were very helpful BUT please know that they use the same waffle iron for GF and regular waffles. It also sounds like they normally use a shared griddle as well. The chef was able to accommodate my son (celiac) by using a different pan for pancakes, but I don’t think this is normally a safe spot for celiacs. It’s a shame because the food was delicious; I wish they’d invest in better precautions.

We went out for date night and had a wonderful time. This was our first time here and they didn’t disappoint, (except for a few minor issues.) The food was outstanding. Hats off to the chef! The calamari was cooked nicely, and the chicken and risotto with veg was so good I almost finished all of it. My husband enjoyed his trout as well. The gluten free menu should be inside the regular menu as an option. I had to ask for it after being seated, and had to wait even longer. The waitress was annoyed with me for asking. I needed a straw for my water, so I asked one of the waitresses for a straw, but she forgot about me. So then I asked our waitress for a straw, and she brought it in a folded napkin. I’m not sure why it wasn’t in a plastic wrapper? The outside seating was lovely, however the tent had a ton of holes in it with the light shining through. The placemats had some sauce stains on them. A classy expensive restaurant should have higher standards. Other than these minor issues, we had a really nice, relaxing dinner.

As a long time customer of Red Robin, I keep coming back for (3) reasons. 1. GF burgers for my Celiac Mom. 2. My freebie Birthday Burger. 3. Servers like Ariel. Tonight, I was enthusiastically served by Ariel, who is a great comedic in her own right. She had the knowledge and the speed of any server I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She was able to go above and beyond making me a mango sweet tea for my birthday outing with my husband. Both our meals were just PERFECT and I know that has to do with the chef team, but it starts with her abilities in making the right order. We had delightful conversations during the wait. She even complimented me and that's always so special. My lemon cake, which I just finished and was AMAZING. So here's the deal, this is to the managing partners, supervisors and managers, Ariel is a super star employee and I beseech you to award her and the other lovely humans working there tonight a day off and a raise for their above and beyond service that keeps people like me coming back. We hosted a celebration of life dinner for my father last night. We were in a private dining room and Brandon our server was fantastic! The biggest hits of the evening were the beef tenderloin with shrimp and mushroom risotto, and tiramisu, and the champagne and wine. We would absolutely host our next event here. They bent over backwards to accommodate my gluten allergy (GF bruschetta, pasta, etc). At the end of the evening, a manager came in to ask if we enjoyed everything. When I told him this was a celebration of life for my Dad he asked if he could give me a hug. He was very kind and sincere in his condolences. Thank you so much to the staff at North Italia for giving us a cozy and delicious place to pay tribute to our amazing Dad. It was a night we will never forget.

My first time here! Having celiac disease makes it very difficult to eat out. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about everything. Our food was top notch and even pointed out the spiced mustard was not gluten free. I never eat a full dish and I cleared my plate. I believe our server was Alainna! We definitely will recommend and spread the word! Thank you for a great evening!
