Great food and good service. I had a gluten-free cheese steak, and it was fabulous. I could not taste the normal gluten-free flavors. It was really good bread.
With a lively sports pub vibe, this spot boasts a fun atmosphere, great drink deals, and delicious, accommodating fried food options.

Great option if you are gluten free! The food is fantastic and the employees are knowledgeable. It’s not really a sit down restaurant, you order at the counter and bus your own place, but it’s real food, sourced from local fishermen.
Expect a mouthwatering experience with a vibrant atmosphere, top-tier service, and rave reviews for unique dishes and desserts.

We enjoyed a great dinner at Joe's. We were able to get a last-minute reservation while in town for one night. The food was excellent, but the service was top-notch, and I would give our server, Jeffery, 10 stars if I could.
First, they were extremely accommodating with my extensive food allergies. My son and husband have no food allergies, so they got to enjoy a lot more than me.
I opted for the grilled seafood platter that came with scallops, lobster, and shrimp and for a side sautted mushrooms. Everything was made gluten-free, also dairy, soy, peanut, and treenut free.
It was hearty and delicious and I don't often enjoy a meal so much, especiallyseafood. It's hard to find places that can accommodating me.
My son got filet with crab Oscar and my husband a ribeye with bearnaise. They shared a mashed potatoe and a lobster mac.
Jeffery was attentive and funny, and we enjoyed his stories. It made the experience even better.
We are looking forward to eating there again next time we are in town.

If you are on a gluten free diet, this restaurant is a real treat. This is the ONLY restaurant I know of in the entire DC area that offers gluten free French toast!!! It is really yummy. It is gluten free cinnamon raison bread that they make into French toast. It is served with maple syrup that has few slices of bananas in it. It is always served warm. (Be sure to look for the bananas. If the French toast is served with sliced strawberries, that is the wheat based French toast.)
This restaurant also has gluten free bread so most of their sandwiches can be made gluten free upon request. And they can make their eggs benedict gluten free by using their gluten free toast.
It is a very pleasant experience dining here. I usually dine outside. They are located on a small street in Georgetown. Georgetown can be crowded but on this small street, it is never very busy. On a nice weather day, it is a pleasant experience to eat the gluten free French toast while enjoying the weather.
The service is always good too. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant.
A cozy spot in Georgetown with a charming pink exterior, bakery delights, and a comfy vibe that's perfect for grabbing a pick-me-up!

The must visit bagel/coffee place in Georgetown!
From Food, service, atmosphere, this place deserves 5 stars.
They have many breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches even gluten free options.
I tried the mountain view on a maple salt & pepper bagel it was delicious!
The bagel was so chewy, eggs were fluffy and lakes were crispy and salty & sweet bagel just made your morning happy!
(Original serve in plain bagel so ask for maple salt& pepper bagel)
If you are chocolate lover, try the chocolate babka muffin. Freshly baked and it has layers unlike regular muffin with chocolate swirls.
I also tried the signature maple french Toast latte and it is not too sweet and not too hot just perfect combination of coffee with touch of maple taste. you should definitely try!
Special shout out to Michael who is the best!!! He was so kind, friendly and helpful. He definitely made my morning even brighter:)
Such a cute pink house you can’t miss it!
Known for its flavorful sandwiches and fresh ingredients, this cozy spot is a must-visit for unbeatable quality and value in the DuPont Circle area.

If you have severe celiac disease like I do, this is the best and safest place I know to get a good sandwich. Just ask for one of the softest gluten free subs they have.
Expect a casual vibe with deliciously unique pizzas and sandwiches that keep everyone coming back for more, plus tempting desserts to satisfy any sweet tooth.

The interior could use a little updating - but the food was delicious. Got the bang bang gluten free pizza, pepperoni gluten free and a plain cheese pizza (non gluten free). All was delicious and the employees were friendly.
Everything is so flavorful here. My go to rice plate is usually, chicken roti, red cabbage, hummus, feta with tzatziki and red pepper sauce. My partner has Celiac disease and at some places we get eye rolls and sighs from people when we ask them to wash their hands a change their gloves. Not at Roti though. They are super accommodating and take all practical precautions to prevent cross contamination from wheat.

We really enjoyed our first visit and have already recommended the bakery to others. Staff was friendly and efficient.
The vegan hot chocolate on a stick was really fun and quite delicious. The vegan gluten free baked items we got were really tasty. The bagel I had was yummy, but quite small. Perfect for what I wanted, which was a snack, rather than a breakfast.
It's a very small space. Few chairs to sit in with some space that could have been used for seating instead used for holding to go bags, etc.
I am looking forward to going back and trying some of their vegan sandwiches.

Vibes are great, food is pretty good, good vegetarian and gluten free options. But service is very slow and makes a fair number of minor mistakes. It’s like being in a Paris cafe, both good and bad.

Fantastic food and people!! Busy night and the food quality is beyond amazing. They have lots of gluten free options and even served gluten free bread with butter upon request. The service was a bit chaotic because of it being so busy and possibly under staffed. We ended up waiting a long time after the meal to pay our bill and the bill had an error on it, so be sure to check it! That being said, the wait staff were very kind and helpful! Will definitely be back :)
Hamburger and chicken sandwich place with gluten free options.
They even place the gluten free items on a separate tray if you tell them it's allergy related.

It's a solid brunch spot. Coffee is so-so, but staff is very friendly. I can't eat gluten and appreciated being able to chose an extra side over the bread. It's a busy place but the wait is never too long and the food is good!

The chicken roti bowl was excellent!! I did not get my gluten free pita as they put a regular one in my 2nd day's order so that was frustrating but the food was great and my pick up order was fresh. The gluten free pita I did get on the 1st order was great!
A beloved spot for its hearty servings, albeit a bit pricier than its competitors.

If you have celiac or a gluten allergy, please do not go here. I would say I've requested a gluten free bun 8 times at this location, and every time it has been a normal one. I've been to other locations where they do pay attention and accommodate gluten free buns on the burgers. You pay extra for a "gf bun" while you are being ripped off-- even when if you specifically mark that you have a gluten and wheat allergy/sensitivity. To whoever manages the store, please stop offering gluten free buns if you are continually making people sick.
With fresh ingredients and a diverse menu, this local gem is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique dining experience.

I really was not impressed with this cauliflower Vegan cheese pizza I really was not impressed. My! Sad that I traveled way across town looking forward to having something totally delicious, instead it was like paper and glue . So I definitely won’t be going back here again and so embarrassed that I ordered some to share with friends, who all like me, avoid gluten like the plague and have an issue with dairy. But I will say the customer service was great and the restaurant seemed kind of a fun atmosphere, though I didn’t eat there only to take out, but I did notice a huge cockroach in the ladies bathroom. It was dead -It just made me wonder about what the kitchen looks like😯

The food here is amazing! The ambiance is a little less than ideal but it’s a small and busy space, so it works! Maybe some ambiance music would elevate the experience?
Other than that, this place is the absolute best spot for gluten free and vegan items! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, especially the seasonal shakes are a must!

We have been to the Nashville location many times, and we're so excited to try the location in DC. The food was great, and we now have new favorites that we hadn't tried before. This is a great place for anyone. But especially for those with celiac or just need gluten-free without the worry of cross contamination. The crispy zucchini is a must.

I randomly stumbled upon this restaurant a few years ago while on my way home from the grocery store and decided to take a quick pho detour, but Sprig & Sprout has been a staple in my dinner rotation ever since. They have an amazing selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options (as well as plenty of meat options for anyone accompanying us plant-based folks). The Roots, which is their vegan pho, is one of the best bowls of plant-based pho that I've ever had -- the burdock root-based broth is super flavorful, yet light and refreshing, and it's paired with a great selection of fresh veggies and fried tofu. The broth is the slightest bit sweet, which was a little unexpected, but that definitely doesn't stop it from being absolutely delicious! They also really load up the vegetable toppings, including the usual broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, and daikon, but also a few fun additions like tremella mushroom, which adds a wonderful pop of texture to the bowl. I would argue that the tofu is the weakest part of the entire dish -- it's a pretty standard fried tofu, with just a sprinkling of salt and pepper. Although the tofu does a great job of soaking up the burdock broth, the broth honestly doesn't have a bold enough flavor profile to really make a difference. The tofu is also usually added on cold, and by the time the broth warms it up, the noodles will have already gotten overcooked and soggy.
If I'm not in the mood for pho, I usually turn to their lotus goi salad. Young lotus root has been one of my favorite ingredients for YEARS and I genuinely thought that I would never get to enjoy it in the DMV unless I carted myself all the way to the Eden Center. But, to my surprise, the answer to all of my lotus root woes was a mere mile away from my front door. If you've never tried a young lotus root salad before, I cannot recommend it enough -- the lotus root is beautifully snappy and refreshing, and pairs beautifully with the daikon, carrot, cucumber, and other veggies. The dressing is also phenomenal, but I would recommend (1) requesting it on the side, and (2) only putting on 1/4 to 1/2 of what they give you because they're a little heavy-handed with the sugar. You can also top the salad with whatever protein you want to make it a more complete meal.
Sip on a particularly good chai in comfy seats or achieve concentrated work here, supplemented by lush greenery.

This is a puertorican restaurant, but there's no indication on any of the decor/ambiance that this is Caribbean, Latin flair food. The restaurant looks like it's decorated from Ikea. The service is not whatsoever what a Latin community is about it doesn't reflect Puerto Rico. We are friendly, charming, charismatic, happy, and hospitality people. We strive to make everyone welcome (for the vast majority)
This is not the vibe you get when you arrive here. Once you walk in, you find a seat, scan the QR code on the table, and then you order your food straight from the app. You have to stand up and grab your own plate, napkins, and silverware. The waitress brings your food to the table. The waitress doesn't do anything else just to bring your food. Doesn't come back asking if you need anything else.
The owner is oriental and 5 times he walked around to the other guest asking how everything was, but not once he approached my table to ask me how my food was.
I ordered cheese balls, tripleta, a colao, and a Guanabana smoothy. All these were $59.00. The food was really good. The tripleta was moist, warm, and flavourful. I will just add a bit more of the mayo ketchup or some aoili sauce.
The parking is right behind the building.
For 2 hours, I paid $9.00

We ate here during a family vacation. The food was absolutely delicious! The people there were super helpful. The cooks and those prepping the food were working hard back there cranking orders out. It’s a busy place but I don’t feel we had to wait long for our food. I loved that they listed out what items were gluten sensitive so we were able to pick safe options for our child with a gluten intolerance. All the food we got was amazing and we’ll definitely eat it again when we come back.
