Vegan restaurant, with gluten-free option, with several types of proteins available. The dishes and desserts are of good quality with fresh products. It is also possible to stop by for a snack given the quality of the cheesecakes and sweets offered. The quality/price ratio is more than correct for Vienna. Allergens are identified on the map. We ate 3 times in 3 days there.

There are nit many places where I can eat glutenfree, egg-free and dairy-free but this place is one of them and the food is awesome! I could choose from more bagels and the banana bread was also compatible with my diet😊 we are definitely coming back! The waiter was also super nice and well informed about food allergies.

Busy café, you have to expect a more or less long queue. Despite the many tourists, you are treated very courteously and politely. Large terrace, winter garden and several rooms. The gluten free cake is to die for.

Actually, the Vero Pizzeria in Pötzleinsdorf is our favorite restaurant (because of the nice staff, outdoor dining area, and of course the great pizza). The breakfast was so delicious, with a great selection and fresh ingredients, that we had to go there twice during our short stay in Vienna. The Matcha Latte is recommended and the prices are very fair. There are many milk alternatives and gluten-free choices. Will come back immediately on my next stay!

I had a piece of cake, which I didn't like at all. The texture of the cream was grainy. The crust, probabily made according to a vegan recipe, was not a real crust, but a sticky mix of nuts. Moreover the whole thing was way too sweet for me. I have troubles with gluten, and some nuts, and that's already enough penalizing, I can't bear also vegans restrictions.

I've enjoyed going to Schopenhauer for years. Either for breakfast or simply for a coffee. All breakfast dishes can also be made with gluten-free bread and cakes are usually also available in gluten-free form. All in all a very cozy cafe

I came from Graz with my mother for lunch and we were treated very kindly at the reception. In general, the service was very courteous and had the classic Viennese humor, but without being arrogant. Now to the food: My mother ordered a classic goulash, and I ordered a gluten-free chicken schnitzel due to gluten sensitivity. We were both very satisfied, the price was absolutely justified based on both the quality and the quantity. We were also both very happy with the coffee and cake. The naturally gluten-free Esterhazy, for example, was excellent, and the wide selection of newspapers was a pleasant bonus. All in all, the early afternoon at Café Hummel brought some light into rainy Vienna. We will definitely come back when we are in Vienna again!

Specialty coffee place in Vienna. Won the Austrian coffee championship and also Europe/Austria best coffee place. Really nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The coffee is really good and the cakes are of great variety. We tried the vegan banana bread which was amazing (even for a non vegan) and the gluten free chocolate banana salted caramel…..reallyyyyy good. Must try!

Definitely a tourist trap. Limited gluten-free options. The caprese salad is drowned in balsamic, and the sausages are disappointing. The staff is unfriendly, and the service is poor. Surprising it has such a high rating. It’s also really stuffy inside, adding to the discomfort. Plus, the clattering of dishes echoes loudly, making you feel like you're in a cheap cafeteria.

I tried the breakfast porridge and it is really good. The price-performance ratio is perfect as the ingredients are all organic and fresh. Since I/we were here...I haven't been able to eat or order pizza anywhere else. And certainly not in my old home in Hesse. Dough is a blast, easy on the stomach. It's also available gluten-free (my partner loves the G-free pizza)... and I can see my wife beaming. Toppings are suitable in every way, and the portion of garlic doesn't bother you in any way. We always get a place (funnily enough, always the same). Even if the ambience isn't my thing... it's absolutely made up for by the service (super nice and fulfilling every wish) and the great taste and consistency of the pizza. I don't want any other pizza anymore. Thanks for the great product.

A wonderful cafe the upper floor where the cafe is is so beautifully decorated. The service was great, attentive and super nice. Really great! The cakes and breakfast variations are great. The eggbenedikt is perfect! The gluten-free cake is a dream! Absolutely go!

Excellent restaurant. Interesting tasting journey, especially considering that the dishes are all vegetarian and vegan (I think also gluten free but I'm not sure, the waiters immediately ask at the beginning if there are any intolerances or unwanted foods, well done). Well balanced dishes, you can see that there is a lot of research and careful use of the ingredients. I ate more than I expected. The quality/price ratio was well above my expectations (unfortunately in Vienna a high price does not always correspond to tasty food or food prepared with care and experience). I highly recommend it, especially to vegetable lovers (vegetarians, vegans and otherwise). I will definitely return, also to discover new dishes (all strictly local and seasonal).

We were here on a Saturday as part of our Christmas party and we loved it. There was a lot going on, but we never had to wait and we were looked after very nicely. Cappuccino/caffe latte with oat milk etc. are no problem at all. The tarts and cakes all looked absolutely delicious and the ones we tried were also incredibly tasty. There is a wide selection of vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free etc. so there is something for every diet and incredibly tasty. We really liked the whole concept and the ambience. A little tip - definitely reserve a spot, the queue in front of the entrance was always very long ☺️ Clearly recommended!

We love this place - a real, authentic, non-tourist-overrun cafe with a cool social mission (they employ asylum-seekers and refugees as servers). There's the usual wonderful Austrian food, beautifully done, as well as a few vegan options and even gluten-free fresh, hot Semmel (Kaiser rolls). A total winner.

Very classy cafe. Quiet and great cake selection .. pricey but no tourist trap. The house tea was amazing. My girlfriend is dairy free and they have an amazing allergy menu. She had the "Rehrücken" which was gluten- and dairy free. She loved it and I liked it too. I had the hot chocolate again. Probably the best hit chocolate I ever had. Rich, creamy, not too sweet. Amazing. Priced accordingly at €9, but you get what you pay for.

I have to express my love for the Brauhof WIEN Fünfhaus - hotel / brewery / beer garden!!! Had dinner last night. World class! Everything that can be seen in the pictures is gluten-free. I'm also in the hotel for 2 nights. Gluten-free pastries for breakfast are no problem. The pastries were very tasty and generally the breakfast selection was large and delicious! Service is very accommodating and everyone is friendly! I'll definitely come by very often when I visit Vienna! 😍🥰

Service was very polite, very accommodating and friendly. The Nice salad was to die for! There was no skimping on the tuna, which is now really an exception, and the dressing was perfect. You could even get gluten-free bread on request. The matcha latte was a bit small for the price, but tasty. The orecchiette were also very creamy and tasty. Rather a smaller portion but delicious.
