Celiac approved safe! Extremely tasty food, kept us well fed and safe from allergen contamination. Our family has allergies to gluten, soy, dairy, eggs, and we ate here without issue. The staff are warm and happy to double check ingredients. Plus, it is delicious! As anyone with allergies knows, delicious isn’t always an option. We ate here at least five times during our week stay in Maui. I loved it so much, I bought one of their cute tee shirts!

Stopped in for a coffee on my way from Two Step to Kona. The gluten free brownies tasted like the real deal and my iced Haupia Caramel latte was perfectly creamy and slightly sweet. Definitely add this to your list if you’re visiting.

We stopped by Lulu’s for lunch because they have a pretty robust selection of gluten free items, which seems hard to come by in Waikiki. We had a lot of trouble with our order - 2 of our drinks had to be remade, the eggs on my Lulu Moco were fried instead of the requested over easy, and we ended up with a fly in another drink.. BUT I’ll say Sage, the waiter, and the manager both handled it really well. Both were very on top of getting things remade and coming to check on us to make sure everything was fixed to liking. The food was also good, but the fish tacos were definitely the best thing any of us ordered.

I either have Celiac Disease or am just gluten sensitive (idk which). This place has gluten free cinnamon rolls, and they are FANTASTIC! You cannot tell they are gluten free. My only tip: The gluten free cinnamon rolls did not come warm and gooey like the regular cinnamon rolls did for other people in my party. HOWEVER, if you warm them up in the microwave, they’re fresh, hot, and gooey! Delicious! Oh, and BIG!

Great spot and cool seeing all the music memorabilia on display. Provides a Gluten Free Menu on request with GF burgers and some of the classics. Overall good service and a favourite dinner spot while visiting Hawaii.

The other Paia fish market on the island is far superior in taste, quality, and service. This paia however was really bad. We found hair in our food, our order was incorrect THREE TIMES. They did not take our food allergy concerns seriously when we returned the food back. The lady taking orders obviously hates her job. Service was very slow. Management needs to step up at this location & take things seriously. But we still love fish Paia, just not this location. Rice was not cooked properly or flavorful. Fish was cooked perfectly though. We hope this review is seen and taken seriously as we are repeat customers and love to support local businesses that offer gluten free and dairy free options.

A very pleasant and special place. We received excellent service. They have a special gluten-free menu, and the waitress advised us on the best dishes and answered all our questions about local fish. The food was very good, and the portions were generous.

Absolute adorable outdoor dining right in Oceanview. Kevin is kind, professional, and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. The whole menu is gluten free and they also have a few great vegetarian options 🙂

Best local organic foods in Hilo. Lots of options for Vegan, gluten free, and dairy free. The people are down to earth and kind. If you eat meat, they are very conscious about where they get the meat. The best Kombucha I have ever had. From the homemade cultured hot sauce to the gluten free dairy free brownies and banana splits, they do it right. Weds night they have Kava, open mic and pizza made with ancient grain organic flour. Owners are also very cool. 😎

Amazing beach-side restaurant! The food was great, and our waiter, Kobe, was amazing! He was knowledgeable about my gluten allergy and my friend's nut allergy and gave us all the info and accommodations that we needed.

Came here because a gluten free wrap option was specifically mentioned by the owners in these reviews. They do not offer a gluten free wrap so don't expect to get that here. They offer gluten free bread but not exactly the same when you are looking for a breakfast burrito. They also advertise online ordering with no options to select gluten free substitutes. Disappointed.

This was our first time going to three's bar and grill. We waited for less than 10 minutes for a table outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For those with Celiac or gluten issues a separate is available. I ordered blackened fish which was one of the best fish I've had. We had a great dinner. You get 20% off your next meal with receipt.

Incredible Takeout, Generous Portions & the Sweetest Service! We ordered takeout from Sweet Corner Café while in Honolulu, and it was hands down one of the best food experiences we’ve had on the island! Everything was packed with care, still fresh and hot when we got home, and absolutely delicious. The real highlight of our visit was our server, Chelsea. Even though we weren’t dining in, she treated us like VIPs; incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely warm. She even surprised us with a free to-go drink, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. It’s rare to find that kind of service, especially with takeout! As for the food , WOW. The house-made noodles were beyond delicious with the perfect texture and flavor. The gluten-free orange chicken was crispy, zesty, and one of the best we’ve ever had (gluten-free or otherwise). The roast chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite tasted homemade and full of love. The portion sizes were good and we easily had enough for leftovers the next day. If you’re in Honolulu and looking for incredible food, generous portions, and service that truly stands out, do yourself a favor and check out Sweet Corner Café. Whether dining in or taking out, they go above and beyond!

I'm so thankful we found this place! Love their gluten-free in-house made bread. It doesn't taste gluten-free, and the texture is like regular bread! Big plus for me. The food was wonderful. We had breakfast and dinner here. Staff was friendly.

The pizza here is outstanding! Their gluten-free option stands out because it’s handmade, unlike the standard 10” frozen crust you find at most other restaurants. It’s easily the best gluten-free pizza we’ve ever had.

Great selection, couldn’t decide so got 7 things (!!) and all are so tasty. Favorite thus far Ube Haupia Coconut pie. Gluten free options are plentiful and appreciated. And it’s reasonable. Keep it up with the $2 brownie and cookie bars - us value shoppers say mahalo for your kokua.

If I could do negative stars, I would. Story time. Husband & I chose this place for the gluten free burger bun option. We went to a previous restaurant that we thought was GF, it was unfortunately not. Husband already ordered/recieved his food to go. We explained this to the host & asked permission to bring husband's food in so that I could order and eat with him - THE HOST AGREED AND SAT US! We were then harassed by both the sever & manager seperately about the outside food. We explained to them both we were here for the gluten free option, and husband would order drink(s) ect. Didn't stop the manager from being rude to us AFTER we already explained our situation and were seated without resistance. As someone who worked in the restaurant industry for 10+ years, I was appalled. Train your staff better; don't agree to seat customers who are being transparent and then harass them anyways. Don't spend your money here.

Such a cool place to eat! I got a spinach bagel made on gluten free bread that was a little disappointing because it wasnt super flavorful, but my husband got the pineapple pizza on gluten free crust and that was super good! I appreciate there being gluten free options! They will make the bagels or sandwiches with gluten free bread! And they play hawaiian Jesus music and they just put on such a nice atmosphere here. :) this place deserves more business!

Ambiance: Very cool garden setting. Live music at certain times. Overall an great atmosphere. Tends to be very busy. I'm giving it four stars, though, because they try to rush people through in 60 minutes to accommodate the next seating. They pushed us to order right away and then brought out our salad and entree at the same time. Wait: We waited 10 minutes with a reservation. Without a reservation, you're rolling the dice. Can be hard to get reservations during the peak season. Food: Good, but nothing special enough to justify the price. "Keoki's Style" fish was just ono with some pesto and a sweet glaze. The kale salad was quite good. They have happy hour specials 4-5, but if you come in with a 4:45 reservation, they won't allow you to order them. You have to arrive earlier than that. Drinks: The cocktails here are unique and good, but incredibly sugary. I would recommend them if that's your style. Prices range from $17-$25 per drink. Service: The front of the house generally did a good job, except that they served us a dish that I was allergic to after I told them about my gluten allergy. When I looked at the dish and asked the server to confirm that it was gluten free, she immediately apologized and took it away.

The food was amazing. I'm glad we made a stop for more local caught seafood. The service was very friendly, but I was a little disappointed to not receive my side dish. I had to order gluten-free, and was told I would get mixed greens, but instead I just got three full scoops of furikake rice. Delicious. But more rice than I needed. The food was great and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Semi casual inside. A nice place to enjoy a family dinner. Definitely stop at Umekes for poke. I was really happy to try the gluten-free Hawaiian poke. It was a generous helping of high quality, delicate and buttery fish with some tasty seasonings. Yum!

Easily one of, if not my favorite place to eat in Hilo. A beautiful atmosphere filled with flowers and joy. The food is extremely fresh and they go the extra mile to make sure they source high quality local, organic ingredients. This cafe is a Hilo Staple and a must visit. And don't forget to check out all of there wonderful gluten free, vegan desserts!!!

Great place for variety. Portion sizes are large and plentiful. The wait staff are lovely and were very informed about gluten free requirements. Have eaten here twice during my stay and no issues after eating. Great gluten free choices available. The fries are cooked separately and are gf also! Thank you for a wonderful meal. If you want to come and eat here, come early as it's very popular and you may have to line up and wait a little, but the line moves quickly.

We initially missed the sign for this place, but once we saw it, it was easy to find and get parking. We had gluten free fish tacos and Hawaiian poke bowl, both were pretty good. The server was knowledgeable about gluten free options, and made sure to keep the fries which could be cross contaminated on the side, which my partner could eat. He also had a lilikoi cheesecake which he loved.

Do not come here if you are looking for safe dining for gluten allergy or celiac. Go to Lulu’s Waikiki instead, where they have a wide variety of gluten free items and DO make the effort to avoid cross contamination, unlike this restaurant.

I was hesitant to write this review because it's really specific to a really hurtful experience as someone with celiac disease. Honestly if you don't have any dietary restrictions, just ignore this since the food/service otherwise is excellent.. I had eaten here several times before and loved it before this experience which was frankly enough to take it off the list for me and to leave a warning for anyone with celiac or food allergies- I ordered my food and was sitting at the table right next to the open kitchen when one of the cooks loudly complained about the celiac order. We ended up leaving without waiting for the food because it was hurtful and totally uncalled for. Not only that, but the staff denied anything was said (again, I was sitting right next to the man who loudly made the comment)- if it had been addressed, then I wouldn't leave a public review. Options for eating out with celiac are limited, so I'm really bummed to have to cross this one off the list due to an unwelcoming environment.

Great option for gluten free people. Pancakes were excellent but $16 for plain buttermilk seems steep. Bacon was very average tasting thin slices and I was expecting more/better given the $10 for 3-4 slices. If budget isn't a factor for you and gluten free is something you need I would say this is likely one of the best options on the island. Staff was very nice as well!

For planet friendly food this is my happy place in Kailua-Kona. It's a food truck like shack in the middle of a parking lot, with shaded seating areas with reed screens and a drive-through option. Free 1 hour parking for an hour. I appreciate how tasty the jackfruit nachos and gluten free pizzas are.
