First visit. Went on a Saturday at 1 ( they close at 2:30) put our names on waitlist online so hardly any wait. Lots of choices for many different diets- vegetarian, gluten free, etc. It was busy so it was quite loud but I guess that’s unavoidable. Prices are high. You can see them online. 3 of us ate breakfast, 2 coffees, 1 soda, and 2 biscuit appetizers- $125 with tip. Our waitress was great except our food was given to us by someone else and we asked them for butter (none was brought with pancakes) and extra syrup but never got it. Tried to get the guys attention to no luck and finally flagged our waitress down. Overall a fine breakfast with solid choices but in my opinion not worth the cost.
Charming spot with a lively vibe, offering a diverse menu and awesome brunch cocktails that make every visit memorable!

11/10! Their servers were excellent, particularly Carter who was attentive and so friendly to our group. They had the biggest gluten free menu I've ever seen, although I would have liked for vegetarian/vegan-possible options to have been marked. The food was absolutely scrumptious and very fresh, even the fruit. Can't wait to be back!
Tucked away in a cozy corner, this family-owned spot offers an impressive menu, ensuring there's something for everyone in a welcoming atmosphere.

A hidden gem! This cafe only has a frontage about 6ft wide, but do not be put off! They have both vegan and gluten free menus, which shows attention to detail, and the Mexican Vegan Skillet is fantastic—seriously—the non-egg eggs are fluffy perfection. Good vibes, surprisingly spacious, immaculately clean, nice waitresses. A real family business.
This cozy spot offers fantastic meals, attentive service, and a welcoming vibe, making every visit feel special and memorable.

It was my first time at Vasili’s and it was a GREAT experience!!! Bianca was a phenomanal waitress, I told her about my gluten allergy and she was supper accommodating!!!! She informed me about what was and was not gluten free on the menu and told me they had GF bread. She also brought me a lemon sorbet for dessert knowing I couldn’t have anything that was on the menu!!! Amazing first time there, definitely going back!!!
With a cozy vibe and flavorful drinks, it's a go-to spot for a quick morning meet-up, especially when you're in the mood for something unique.

Grabbed an iced caramel latte and a cold brew with oat. The latte tasted VERY strongly of burnt coffee. The cold brew was OK.
Food options for GF/Celiac's folks are rough here. The gluten-free toast is definitely Naperville-priced (for those not familiar with their 'burbs, I'm trying to say the pricing was somewhere between "ouch" and "boing!" [For those not familiar with a classic "White Christmas" reference, I'm saying it's expensive]). Butters tastes good though - not worth the price of admission, but tasty nonetheless.

Stopped in to get a loaf of bread. Love the simple ingredients used to bake this loaf! This bread is moist and delicious. There were so many different breads and cookies to choose from. Gluten free options available as well. I even saw some dog treats! I was very disciplined, and bought only what I came for. Don’t know if I’ll be able to do that next time!
A trendy spot with deliciously unique bowls that are both healthy and satisfying, but be ready for long lines and limited seating.

I’ve had a few of your bowls they are delicious, a healthy treat, and gluten free! Allie is warm and friendly and very knowledgeable about the ingredients and variety of bowls. Emma was also friendly and made a great buoy bowl today.
Nostalgic vibe with a solid menu, offering a variety of coffee and pancakes that locals rave about, all at fair prices.

Still the same as I remember from 20 years ago. Food was decent, service left much to be desired, and prices were fair. Happy to see that they have added GF pancakes as my son has Celiac and he said they
were really good.
The staff here are always super nice. We always get a hello from the manager and they’re just super sweet. Like their sweet tea! Can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. They have gluten free bread, too!

I’ve come here 3 different times and each time my experience got worse. I really wanted to like this place, because it has a special quality about it & I see the potential, but the kitchen is constantly missing the mark.
During my first visit, the food was bland. I had ordered a savory crepe that tasted subpar to any crepe I’ve ever had.
The second visit, I ordered the viral giant croissants. I asked the waiter which flavors were available & he replied “all of them”. After our meal, I placed a to go order for one of each flavor, but was told they only had 3 flavors available. Once I got home I passed out the croissants to my family members to try and everyone had a “meh” expression on their faces. So I tasted one and the croissant was so dry and hard. (I drove straight home)
During my third & final visit with a friend, I ordered the soufflé pancakes that are supposed to be light, fluffy, & jiggly. I received 3 flat pancakes. I looked at the waitress as she placed my plate in front of me with disbelief. I showed her a picture from their own website of what they should look like and she agreed and took them back. My friend’s steak was waaaaay overcooked and they took that back as well and apologized for everything. The manager came out & said the kitchen accidentally used gluten free flour & that’s why the soufflé pancakes wouldn’t rise. But they served it anyway? Weird.
THEN they brought me a steak taretar & the meat was BROWN instead of red. The waitress apologized for that as well & took it away. At that point I was done. They kindly removed my plates from the bill & gave us a free mimosa to make it up to us. So at the end of it all I had an empty belly but a nice buzz! Until they get new kitchen management, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
Vibrant atmosphere with fun themed events and large party accommodations make for an enjoyable experience for all.

Tasty options for the gluten free--shared the bacon flatbread with GF crust and the asian salad with wontons on the side--both GREAT choices! Will return again. Just wish the service was more attentive to keep things moving along.

My son and my father and I were looking for a breakfast place in the area and we've never been here before so we decided to give it a shot. Very cute Ambiance using that black and white feel that a lot of places have gone after. Kind of waiting for chip and Joanna to come out from behind the kitchen lol. My son had an omelette with avocado and spinach, my dad had eggs benedict and I had a breakfast burrito and everything was absolutely fantastic. I also noticed they have a bunch of gluten-free options which will be great since my wife has celiacs so we look forward to coming back with her. Overall definitely fantastic breakfast spot.

Great local, veteran owned diner that replaced the train diner! Lynn was welcoming the minute we walked through the door, even giving us a few quarters to use for the horse for our son to ride. Our waitress was great. Service is exceptional! You can tell they really care about their customer’s experience. My son has a severe dairy allergy and avoids gluten. Loved the fact that they have a gluten and dairy free pancake (amaranth) for him! (Heads up it does have eggs) He really enjoyed them. Unfortunately the potatoes are cooked with dairy/butter which is a favorite part of our breakfast usually. If this ever changes or there’s a different potato/hash-brown option offered without dairy, we would love to make this our go to breakfast spot.
Not a ton of gluten free options, but hey, "Bread" is in the name. What gluten free options there are though are pretty tasty. It's also just a cozy place to enjoy a chat with friends over lunch.

Fantastic addition to Naperville! I enjoyed the soursop tea and the smoothie. The cashier was super nice and the place struck me as down-to-earth. I see more unique (and relatable) joints like this when I go out of the state, so it's refreshing to see something local. It's hard to find restaurants in Naperville that aren't chains and are affordable. The prices are good too.
I can't do gluten, so I will be sticking to the drinks and the fries, but I LOVE this concept and am glad this restaurant is getting the love it deserves. I will be back for more juice and smoothies :)

First time here. I would absolutely go back.
It's a bright and spacious restaurant. It's simple, airy yet beautifully set.
The service is really nice. You're waited on by a team of people. Hardly any wait time. They are on it. Very mindful service. It's cool. Nicely done. They should be an example of how to serve for other restaurants.
The food...
We had one of the green beans dishes, the ox tail (heard that was amazing), the chicken on a stick (heard that was the best they had), the crispy spring rolls (not sure if I remember that correctly), and a few others lol.
All of it was great. Seriously. It's good quality food and ingredients.
I loved that they made most of the things, that they could gluten-free

Schlotzsky’s is a restaurant that truly stands out in the world of fast-casual dining, offering a variety of delicious meals that cater to different tastes and preferences. I recently visited one of their locations and was thoroughly impressed with both the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that Schlotzsky’s takes pride in providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted me with friendly smiles, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, setting a positive tone for the meal ahead.
One of the highlights of my visit was the famous “Original” sandwich. This signature dish did not disappoint. The sourdough bread was perfectly toasted, giving it a satisfying crunch, while the combination of meats, cheese, and fresh vegetables inside made for a truly flavorful experience. The sandwich had the perfect balance of savory and tangy flavors, and the generous portion size left me feeling completely satisfied. It’s easy to see why this has become Schlotzsky’s hallmark item, and it certainly lived up to the hype.
In addition to the standout sandwiches, Schlotzsky’s offers a wide range of other menu options, all of which look equally tempting. I decided to try their fresh, crisp salad, which was loaded with high-quality ingredients like ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, and a flavorful dressing. It was the perfect complement to the sandwich, offering a refreshing contrast in texture and taste. I also appreciated the fact that Schlotzsky’s offers gluten-free and vegetarian options, making it a versatile choice for anyone with dietary restrictions.
The service was another aspect that truly made my visit enjoyable. The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring that my food arrived quickly without feeling rushed. The restaurant had a relaxed, casual vibe, which made it the ideal place for a laid-back meal. I also appreciated that Schlotzsky’s provides
Wonderful family owned establishment. I appreciate the classical music playing overhead. Their gluten free waffle is great, highly recommend to those who need GF options. Their bacon is life.

great atmosphere! The service was unfortunately subpar; had to wait a lot for waiter to come back and check in. Also, all our food came out at different times and mine was lukewarm and my burger was way too rare. Finally, they had something marked gf on their menu that come to find out, has cross contamination with gluten. We used to love this place and heard it’s now under new management. unfortunately likely won’t be back
Also, the added 3% removable surcharge feels like it’s taking advantage of customers. Because unless you see the fine print about it being added in, you don’t know it’s there…
Regulars rave about the exceptional flavors and unique dishes that keep them coming back for more year after year.
