There were two of us eating with a gluten allergy. Mason was our server. He helped up find delicious food to accommodate. He happily went to the kitchen and made sure he was giving us good information. Try the candied bacon, edamame, pb&j burger and the tequila old fashion. Food, atmosphere and service was perfect. We’ll be back with my puppy dog!

This was our first time eating at this location. We had heard great things so had high hopes. Honestly, this was average at best. We were promptly greeted and seated in a near empty restaurant. I asked about a gluten free menu and the person seating us recommended the Dutch Baby because "it is mostly egg". I moved on because it's obvious she had zero clue what gluten free is and decided to ask the waitress instead. I asked and she got a glazed over look on her face, so I took a chance and just ordered and hoped for the best. I had the buckwheat pancakes and bacon. They were not done through. The outside was done, but gooey in the middle. All 3 of them. The bacon was tasty. My guy has the country breakfast (I think that's what it was called - biscuits with eggs and sausage covered in a miniscule amount of cream gravy). His only comment was "does yours have any flavor?" As for service, our waitress came to get drink orders immediately. Then, the only thing we can figure out is she had to go pick, roast, and grind the coffee beans for my coffee and make the soda syrup for my guy's Diet Coke because it took so long for her to return a manager and no less than 4 other servers stopped by to ensure our drink order was taken. Service for the rest of the meal was equally slow. We got there at roughly 8:20 on a Sunday morning. We didn't linger after eating and didn't leave until close to 9:30 - there were only about 5-6 other tables occupied so it wasn't a matter of anything being backed up. Overall I was underwhelmed by the whole experience.

Food was flavorful. I ordered the veggie omelette and hazelnut latte. Delightful amount of cheese and veggies. Received coffee refill in my latte for no extra charge! Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was just energetic enough for a breakfast! I was impressed there are options for gluten free meals. I definitely recommend this place. They have many options.

This place is a gluten free and dairy free gem! Vegan options too. I enjoyed the gluten free modification of Vegan Bliss pancakes with a side of chicken sausage and 2 scrambled eggs and green tea with stevia. The chicken sausage pattie is homemade and so good I started looking it up on Pinterest how to make it. Server was super friendly and attentive. Order came out fast and omg it was such a treat and delicious. I will be back whenever I’m in town. This one gets a favorite tag.

I’ve been many times, and each experience has gotten worse than the previous. In my most recent experience, the waiter was yelling at the hostess right in front of our table, and then immediately turned around to greet us (super awkward and unprofessional). Next, the waiter brings us water, and disappears for 3-5 business days. After finally flagging down the waiter, we order our food which was not only undercooked, but flavorless. To top it off, they brought us complementary bread as a condolence when we had informed them of a gluten allergy (so we couldn’t even eat it). I would not recommend. There’s dozens of better “Italian” places, and the price is outrageous for the lack of quality.

While visiting family in Plano we decided to have desert at Better Than Sex desert restaurant, what a great time!!! Our server Adrien did an amazing job explaining each drink and desert with wit and humor, he really had us laughing. The deserts were outstanding, being a celiac what a joy it was to be able to order a cake that was gluten free and sooo delicious!!! I will definitely go back, give it a try, you will be amazed at the deserts, drinks and atmosphere. What a great time!!!!!

Burnt BBQ Catering absolutely crushed it at my party! Professional, reasonably priced, punctual, and Tim was super friendly as he served the food. The food was incredible—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Working with Tim leading up to the event was easy and let us make adjustments as the event neared. They even accommodated the gluten free crowd without asking. My sister said "the rice was the star of the show for me - when is rice ever so good it's the star" ... that's how good this pace is. Everyone raved about it and kept asking, "Where is this from?!" SUPPORT LOCAL Highly recommend!

CW has had plenty of reviews, but I wanted to add to that. My husband and I visited as part of the #PlanoFoodies program. I made a reservation via OpenTable because they are downright busy on a Saturday evening! We were greeted (we were on time) and quickly seated. After we ordered our bottle of wine, I asked for recommendations. I was excited because many of them aligned with what I was excited about on the menu. No appetizers for us, but we ordered the Filet and the Grilled Chicken/Fig sandwich (with Goat Cheese). I really wanted the steak fries side, and so many sides sounded great (especially the mac-n-cheese). I settled for the Caesar salad since I wasn't terrible hungry. Mmmmmm. The Filet and mashed potatoes were great. The Chicken/Fig/GoatCheese sandwich was fantastic. The Caesar salad was awesome too! We took some of it home. We ordered Port Wine along with the Brownie (gluten-free) dessert! The port was great, but I have to brag on that GF Brownie!!! You won't believe it's gluten-free! Wow! We talked about how we will be back. We love this area, but the great service and great food! If you are one of the few people like us who have not visited, please do so. Great menu selections!

Food was good but very inconsiderate about allery specification mentioned while ordering. When we were ordering we mentioned about gluten allery and whether the gluten free option for bread is available. We were said yes and we ordered the same. But we received normal bread. When we mentioned to the server about it, he did not acknowledge we were served wrong and said it was not his fault.

I was a first timer today and of all days it’s Mother’s Day Sunday so they were SUPER busy. Despite how busy they were, all the employees had smiles the whole time. My order was messed up originally but they quickly rectified the problem. Their everything bagel is ssoooo good! They’re not too firm and not too soft. Literally perfect! I got my mom a gluten free breakfast sandwich and she was a huge fan! 10/10 highly recommend! I will be a regular lol!

as a barista i love checking out other cafes. i'm also newer to texas. this is by far the best place ive tried. gluten free items on the menu. the staff were warm and pleasant. i can't state that enough. props to the owner. they made me feel like a human, having celiac some days i feel like an animal having to order a whole meal and pick it apart while everyone watches and judges. they neatly wrapped my eggs and bacon. treated me with care and took my health seriously. i will always come back to this cafe. i'm so excited to try more options they have available!! hidden gem for sure.
