The team at Coyote Catering do a great job! The catering is affordable, great value and really well put together. The GF range is also fantastic and handy for our coeliac colleagues.
Always friendly and willing to help out, I recommend them to others locally and am a repeat customer for our SME meetings and functions.
(Shoutout to Abbie for her speedy service, and friendly + helpful attitude!!)

Terrible allergy care! This has happened both times I've gone. I have a dairy allergy and have coeliac. I've asked for a soy latte and they then not only used almond milk but then also used unclean jugs meant for full cream milk(terrible health safety practices) which means anyone with a nut or dairy allergy could no longer drink it. My worry now is if they had used the oat milk it wouldn'tv'e been coeliac friendly. Coffee tasted nice but made me extremely sick. Please do better.
Tucked away on a quiet street, this cozy spot offers amazing desserts and a lovely atmosphere perfect for a sweet treat and coffee break.

This cute place serves up instaworthy but also delicious food! Their deserts are spectacular visually and by taste. There are lots of sweet and savoury options for kids and adults alike and servings were generous. There are also gluten free, vegetarian and healthy options. We had the pumpkin soup, the Moroccan salad with lamb and the cheeseburger. All were delish! And the coffee is good to round up the meal.
Street parking is everywhere. Place is easily accessible being on the ground floor and in the corner. There are 2 unisex toilets on the premise.
This spot boasts a fantastic variety of meals, quick service, and local craft beers, perfect for a laid-back meal with friends.

Went here for a casual lunch with the work mates. The pizza was excellent and there is a wide variety of different meal options. If you need it there are even gluten free options for those so inclined. The beer is really good and they have some local craft beer options. Ordering is easy and the service is quick and efficient. Food was all brought out to our table outside without too much of a wait. I would go back there for sure.
Expect a welcoming vibe with exceptional service, tasty options, and a delightful atmosphere perfect for a relaxing meal with loved ones.

Ordered A VG cheese and poutine chips last night. We let them know it was for a coeliac and the shops also claims to be coeliac aware. This particular burger also comes in a GF bun as standard on their menu, written down in the item description.
Good thing I'd hanmd their burgers before and knew the difference in visual appear between the GF and non-GF bun because when we got home and opened the box it was the non-GF bun that had been used. If I had not been here in the past and knew the difference then I would have gotten very very sick from trusting that a "coeliac aware" store would get it right.
I called the store and they remade the order, front of store guy was pretty nice and apologetic and had me check the top of the burger to confirm correct bun. Bun was correct so assumed everything else was fine and drove back home again. When I went to eat the burger I noticed the cheese was missing. So frustrated, I asked my partner to call up, front of house guy answered and was nice then asked her to hold. The girl that my partner ended up speaking too was less friendly and made a song and dance over it just being a slice of cheese and to get over it essentially.
It's a burger, called the VG CHEESE. I just had an over cooked slab of dry plant meat, sauce and a bit of lettuce. Sometimes one ingredient listed not just in the item description, but in the actual NAME of the burger, is the sole saving grace and it was absent. That and the fact this was the remake for sending me home with a burger that could have made me very sick if I were not so familiar with your burgers due to the past joy I had experienced from them. I'd have thought it would have been double checked for everything. Including the items namesake.
Edit: If below comment is true then their website and every food delivery app that they have their business on needs to be updated as every one I checked and have ordered from before lists that the bun is a GF bun in the item description.

Our families had dinner at Highroad following our wedding celebration and it was lovely! The food and service was great; and we have to make special mention of the chef who very kindly accommodated the multiple dietary requirements (Coeliac, Pescatarian and Allium allergies). We had previously been to Highroad for brunch and coffee which was as always great, but their dinner service is definitely one to check out!
Thank you again!

Found this place through a google serch for gluten free, my mother and sister in law are both celiac. This cafe is one of the best that Ive been to in Canberra, none of the food is the standard 'gluten free' that you get elsewhere, the care and attention that has been put into developing the menu to be so good is amazing. The whole menu is just tasty, well flavoured and well proportioned.
Would recommend this cafe to anyone regardless of dietary requirements base solely on how good it all tasted.
The coffee was really good and the ambience was perfect.
Cannot wait to come back again!

We were really disappointed. We drove 20 minutes from our hotel to have breakfast at Local Press, a place we’ve enjoyed in the past while visiting Canberra. It seems like the cafe might be under new management. The menu has changed, even though the website still displays the old one (there are no gluten-free pancakes anymore!). While I’m sure the new owners are nice, the experience is not the same, and the food is definitely not of the same quality. My salmon nori eggs benny had about one flake of nori...

Wow I’ve just arrived in Kingston and wanted to check out eating places being gluten free and all. Wow a friendly welcome followed by attentive, informative and kind service. The chef attentive to my gluten free needs and so many options. I had a hash meal which had gluten in the chilli sauce but half the menu was gf. Then there was a choice of gf desserts and freshly baked cakes- brownie, muffin packed full of fruit and the best gf carrot cake I’ve eaten. All washed down with a delicious turmeric latte. I will be back x
I have had Brod before but this one didn't hit the spot. Firstly, the wait time was insane for a quiet Friday lunch and one burger order. I would hate to go on a busy weekend and be in a hurry.
Had a gluten free veg burger. Their gluten free bread was so dry - so many burger places in Canberra do gluten free bread well so this was disappointing. The thinnest driest haloumi slice drowned by oily vegetables that tasted half cooked which given the wait time seemed a bit silly. So much capsicum! The burger sauce had been poured on and was oddly spicy which must be to make up for the lack of seasoning on the cooked veges. I think I'll try the vegan burger instead next time.
Their onion rings had a thick batter which was a welcome change from other burger joints. Appreciate that aioli dipping sauce didn't come at an extra cost.
Staff were nice but one person in particular seemed incredibly fed up - as was I by the end of it all. Won't be going back any time soon.
Interestingly never had a bad experience at the one at Capital Brewing in Fyshwick.

After having a not so great experience, we appreciate the cafe taking the time to hear us and listen to our concerns
No one came over to greet us etc, had to walk in because we weren't even sure if they did table service. They finally took our order, never checked on us, refilled water etc. We paid and they charged us for a dish we didn't eat. We had to call and get a refund and they were very rude about it. Waitress seemed a bit annoyed as we had dietary requirements (gluten free/halal)
Noticeably two people who came after us were looked after well, served food promptly etc
Not gonna come back here at all, and will tell others to avoid.
UPDATE: After posting this review, there are two other POC groups that have posted around the same time as us. I recall this as well as they weren't being served as either, and they also refer to the couple I mentioned above that received their food before any of us, noticeably they were not POC.
It seems they are appropriating aspects of Asian food but reluctant to serve them when they come to their cafe.
UPDATE UPDATE: just wanted to follow up and say that we got a call back to personally apologise for the experience we had here. Its very commendable for them to want to reach out and fix the situation and we really appreciate them taking the time to understand our feedback. Sometimes in service bad days and interactions can happen and what we perceive can be different to people's intentions. Thank you for the call!
Bask in stunning views of Canberra while enjoying high-quality, beautifully presented meals in a bright and spacious setting.

I got the $12 loaf of gluten free bread and it is awful. Even toasting it wasn't good. The texture is very unpleasant. I actually prefer the store bought at the supermarket gluten free bread. I really expected better as I've heard their gluten products are good.

I've had the pleasure of visiting teddy's cafe a few times now, and every visit has been a delightful experience. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast or a satisfying lunch, this place has something for everyone. Here’s a breakdown of my favorite visits!
On my first visit, I couldn’t resist trying the pancakes. They were absolutely divine—fluffy, light, and topped with fresh fruit, syrup, and a generous dusting of powdered sugar. It’s the perfect way to start the day!
Next time, I went for the breaky roll. Honestly, I think this is one of the best breakfast rolls I’ve had. Packed with savory flavors, the combination of eggs, beef brisket, and delicious sauce in a soft, fresh roll is just unbeatable. It's such a comforting choice and really hits the spot.
Another visit, I opted for the classic avocado on toast. It’s so simple, but they really elevate it with perfectly seasoned avocado, a touch of lemon, and a sprinkle of white chickpeas. The texture of the toast is spot on too. If you’re looking for something fresh and light but still satisfying, this is a top choice.
I also had the egg and bacon roll, and it was just as good as the breaky roll. The bacon was crispy, the eggs perfectly cooked, and the roll itself was soft but had the perfect crunch when toasted. It’s the kind of meal that feels both indulgent and comforting.
What I love most about this cafe is the gluten-free options available. There’s a fantastic selection, so anyone with dietary restrictions won’t feel left out. From gluten-free pancakes to rolls, the variety ensures everyone can enjoy a delicious meal.
And let’s not forget the coffee! Every cup I’ve had has been rich, smooth, and just the right strength. They really know their coffee here, and it’s the perfect pairing with any meal. Oh, and if you're in the mood for something a little different, the strawberry matcha is a must-try—it's refreshing, unique, and absolutely delicious!
What truly sets this cafe apart, however, is the staff service. The team is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. They go out of their way to make sure you're enjoying your visit, and the service is quick without compromising on quality. You can tell they truly care about providing an excellent customer experience, which makes each visit even more enjoyable.
If you're looking for a spot that combines great food, an inviting atmosphere, exceptional coffee, and outstanding service, this cafe is hands down one of the best places for breakfast or lunch. Can’t wait for my next visit!
Impressive catering for large groups with a diverse and delicious selection, perfect for those seeking plenty of options at a great value.

We were looking for venue that offered gluten and dairy free food to hold our mother's 'Celebration of Life' event after her funeral. Rosemary by EightyTwenty was perfect! We had just over 30 people and I was able to organise in advance for a variety of delicious, fresh dishes to share, all gf and df and the whole event was very reasonably priced. Everyone commented on how lovely the food, service and venue was. We were also able to bring our own alcohol to have a toast to our beautiful mother. Organising the event with Patricia was easy and efficient, especially considering the difficult time it was for us recently losing our mother at Christmas time.
I highly recommend Rosemary by EightyTwenty for a delicious meal or a venue for your function.
