This place was incredible!!! We looked for a safe gf place for our celiac daughter, and this one was such a treat in that it is all gf. But even more amazing was the healthy, plentiful and incredibly tasty meals we had. We left fully satisfied and it kept us going for a very long time. Amazing service as well. Would highly recommend! Thank you for giving us an amazing meal. We hope for Impact restaurants to come to Vancouver, our home.
This cozy spot offers a vibrant atmosphere with two floors of seating, a rooftop patio, and a unique menu that surprises everyone!

Great food, really friendly and welcoming service. I feel very safe and at ease bringing my celiac mother here, as well. It’s such good peace of mind to be able to trust that a place can serve celiac friendly food.

Nice atmosphere and service, but inedible gluten free pastries. As someone who has tried the majority of gluten free bakeries in Toronto and countless storebought goods, it’s ludicrous that this bakery is charging $5.93 for a single black forest cupcake. The cupcake had a weird texture, it was like munching on uncooked quinoa in between cake crumb. The frosting was overwhelmingly sweet and not creamy at all. I’ve had plenty of good vegan frosting at other bakeries—this was not it. There was very little cherry filling and it should have been a jam-like consistency, instead I think they just soaked dried cherries in sugar syrup. Not to mention the black forest cupcake is a “seasonal” flavor which is how the bakery justifies an extra $0.75 surcharge. Last I checked, dried cherries are available year-round so I’m confused and you should be too.
With a modern, healthy vibe and flavors that impress, this spot is perfect for quick bites and brunches you'll keep craving!

So impressed to find a place that cares about the ingredients they use for the health and well being of their clients. LOVE that they are gluten free and have vegan options. Take out, or sit down that doesn't set your health back is what Toronto needs more of, and this company has it!

First I had a chocolate chip muffin, came back same day for an oatmeal cookie, came back next day for this incredible Breakfast Bowl. What a gem! I’m plant exclusive and gluten free, and here, I ate like a king. I’m coming back to Toronto this summer, this will be a must stop.

Impact Kitchen is 100% gluten free, and yet people who aren’t following flourless diets frequent it.
The healthy bowls, sandwiches, and toasts are made with whole foods, that are excellent to fuel you for work or a workout. Despite being “good for you”, the offerings are flavourful, and very hearty. I’m particularly fond of the beef brisket sammie and avocado chili toast!
It’s a takeout/ casual quick eatery, so don’t expect the quality of a higher end restaurant. Despite this, I’ve always had good service, and the space is quite large.
All in all, great for what it is! Happy to see so many good gluten free brands be successful.

First time here! What an awesome surprise to find this restaurant while we were out and about shopping! So pleasant to walk in and be greeted with friendly and happy staff! Then, to find out that there was an abundance of tasty gluten free options!!! It could be that their whole menu is gluten free, but I’m not 100%. We had a jerk chicken wrap, sipping broth, hot chocolate, and a cookie. These gluten free choices , as I said earlier are done well and so tasty - great ingredients too! Our server, Venkat, brought our experience up to another level! We will be back to this area just to eat here. Oh ya, we enjoyed the vibe in at Impact. Clean, and pleasant
A must-visit for plant-based enthusiasts, this café boasts stunning desserts and a cozy vibe, minus dine-in options and with takeout only.

(Celiacs Beware) They have a a lot of gluten free items on the menu but only some of there items are gluten free for example it will say there Empanadas are gluten free but there actually not since they use the same fryer for their non gluten free items. Their arepas though are truly gluten free since they don't fry the bread but a lot of their so called gluten free items are not safe for celiacs so please do ask the waiter and don't just look at the menu and be like wow all gluten free cause its really not. Food was good tho

They have a lot of different waffles choices on the menu. I ordered the Churros one with some cinnamon sugar and syrup on the waffles. It was delicious and i love it.
The environment was nice, good for people who want to chill or gathering with friends.
They also have gluten free and vegan options. Good for vegan people to enjoy waffles.
One thing a little bit inconvenient to me is they only accept debit/cash. not really a big deal but just i prefer pay in credit card.

Seeing the unique name of the cafe and the fact that the cakes were vegan made us visit this place. Though there is less seating place inside, there is a large patio at the back. I wonder how this space would be used during the winter season?
We ordered a coffee and a chai along with some cakes and we were not disappointed. The chai was excellent and tasted like desert. The cake was dense and tasty. Not overly sweet. I wish it was a gluten-free one. The service, too, was good, and we had fun chatting with the baker+ server. This place seemed popular as quite a few people were dropping in to have their coffee and some savory items. Unfortunately, the cakes we wanted weren't there, hence the selection was less.

While looking for a gluten-free breakfast spot in Toronto on Find Me Gluten Free, we came across a highly-rated place and decided to give it a try. I must say, this is the best gluten-free and vegan spot I've tried here, especially for the coffee. I ordered a mocha, and it was the best cafe mocha I've ever had. Made with real dark chocolate, it had that distinct bitter taste, complemented by coconut cream and a splash of maple syrup, along with some added spices—it was amazing. We also had steel-cut oats and a chocolate muffin. The muffin was delicious, not overly sweet, gluten-free, and vegan. If you're ever in Downtown Toronto, check this place out; you'll love it.

Had a work night dinner with some out of country guests and oh my goodness did this restaurant went above and beyond. Attentive service, fully could accommodate the menu for each dietary allergy (dairy and gluten), and had an amazing variety of options from land sea and farm. A bit of a spend but it was worth it for a lovely night out, and the ambiance was divine.

Not to be missed! This is an incredible Royal Thai restaurant with a beautifully done menu and great atmosphere. The food was absolutely incredible - even items I don’t usually enjoy like caviar were amazing and done to perfection. We loved every single dish.
Highly recommend for a date night, anniversary, or birthday dinner. I have 8 food allergies including Celiac (gluten free, dairy free, soy free, peanut free and more) and they accommodated and adjusted the menu so I could enjoy the meal! If you’re a foodie, you need to go here to experience a Royal Thai cuisine meal. The attention to detail was amazing!

I love this treasure of a coffee shop/bakery on Bloor. It is a combination of an old fashioned coffee shop with old fashioned pricing and atmosphere with modern gluten free offerings. It is so unpretentious and authentically '90s that we cant help but cherishing it for what it is!
We've only tried drinks and snacks, but they also offer other foods which we will try very soon.

I've been here a few times for brunch and to get their pastries.
There is some seating inside but the patio is much larger.
I got one of their bagel sandwiches (big new Yorker) with a side and it was pretty average, they didn't give me much salmon. Price was on par with a nicer brunch spot.
I've also had their chocolate croissants, it was pretty big and inexpensive, but nothing special.
They have gluten free and matzo (kosher) options too

They have always been very accommodating for our reservations (placing us in a spot that would best suit dinner with our young daughter) and careful with my wife's allergies (main one is celiac/no gluten). The food has been great and the service is top-notch. We love it there.

Great service, and good food! No complaints :)
I got the Mediterranean Shakshuka and the Landwer Iced Tea. The Shakshuka was pretty standard although I wish it was a bit warmer because the eggs were a tad bit too runny.
I got the Shakshuka with gluten free bread but it was just standard grocery store toast lol.
However, the tea was delicious and refreshing!
No wait time on a weekday lunch which was SO surprising considering this place is always packed.

I ordered cupcakes and cookies from The Sweet Escape for my wedding in the Distillery. They were an absolute delight to correspond with, very organized and even suggested doing special matching wedding sprinkles on all my different cupcake flavours for no extra charge. Also I was so happy to find gluten free, vegan options for my guests with dietary restrictions. I would order through them again in a heartbeat and not to mention our guests loved the desserts, they were delicious!

We were there for a Christmas work party. We need to eat gluten free. I had a seafood pasta ( gluten free) which was chock full of shrimp, squid, scallops, mussels and clams. Delicious. My husband had a steak that melted in your mouth. The service was excellent. We also enjoyed Caprese salad with cherry tomatoes. It was bursting with flavour. Great atmosphere too.

Visiting Toronto from the USA. Had the gf chocolate chip cookie as well as the gluten free kitchen sink bar. They were fantastic. The coffee was also very good.
I don’t know about best coffee ever. I would say it’s just okay but that might be my fault for ordering a latte at place with “black coffee” in the name. I found it to not be strong enough and tasted mostly of milk. I also got a gluten free date bar that I didn’t realize was gluten free until after. It was really dry and didn’t hold together at all but again that might be my fault. There’s also not a lot of seating available; just the one big table and a few stools.
