A hidden gem in Canggu! Oka’s Bakery is a cozy little spot that truly surprised me — everything from the fresh bakes to the calm ambiance was on point. Their croissants and sourdough are some of the best I’ve had in Bali, and I really appreciated the variety of vegan and gluten-free options. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was excellent too. Great for breakfast, a light bite, or even to grab pastries to go. Definitely coming back!

Husband said it is the best burger he has had in our 2 weeks on the island and he is not gf so that is saying something! My two kids and I shared a grilled cheese and pizza so we would have room for pancakes after which my kids dug into like their life depended on it! I think they were super stoked to have something to eat other than chips or rice but everything was tasty and so nice not to have to worry about CC

This place is sent me to the hospital! They say they are celiac safe with a separate cooking area - I got so sick I had to get wheelchairs to the hospital- and apparently I’m not the first place this restaurant has sent to the hospital for gluten cross contamination. Celiacs DO NOT EAT HERE! They say that they are aware of cross contamination and they are NOT SAFE.

AVOID if you are gluten free or have a wheat allergy like I do!! Although the food was listed as GF on the menu and was nice it definitely is not allergy friendly. I have an anaphylactic reaction to anything containing wheat. Comes on about half an hour after eating anything that contains wheat/gluten. We have breakfast here and great coffee. By the time I walked back to our villa I was having a reaction! Would not recommend this place if you are GF or suffer from a wheat allergy.

Absolutely pumping on a Friday morning. Best option with the gluten free bread tasting excellent. We had shakshuka and the chill bae. Best breakfast in Uluwatu, paired with coffees either the home made almond milk which was fantastic. Would recommend. Great value for money as well, two coffees, juice and two breakfast for less than 40 AUD.

One of my favourite places IN THE WORLD!! the fresh salad choices for the lunch bowls!! The coconut and chocolate soft serve! The smoothie bowls and breakfast choices!! The sweets cabinet !! Such delicious gluten free plant based food!! Such high vibe quality food!! Beautiful decor! Comfortable day beds! Great location and plenty of helpful staff!! A must visit in Bali!! As someone who is on a gluten free diet, this place is PERFECT! They have gluten free sourdoughs and gluten free burger buns. Vegan friendly as well with their homemade almond milk. Food was AMAZING! The fries that came with my meal was hands down one of the best fried I've had. To top it off, their staff Nana was super nice and made sure everything was okay with our meal and experienxe. All in all will definitely come back ❤️

After their remodel it’s more of a quick coffee/cake or grab and go spot, but this is my go to in Canggu for gluten free cakes, sweets, and bread. I always order my kids bday cakes from here and the most recent one did not disappoint, perfectly matched the photo reference I shared and a delicious cake with fluffy buttercream frosting. Don’t miss their incredible gluten free pancakes for a decadent breakfast treat!

But the problem with the place is that the prices are very, very expensive, Asai Bull at 140 thousand, even compared to Tsango it is expensive...

Dangerous for Allergies - AVOID! My visit to Genius Cafe Bali was a disaster. I ordered gluten-free eggs on toast, but halfway through, I realized the bread wasn't gluten-free. They got my order wrong, and I got sick later in the day. They replaced the meal once they realised, but given I had already eaten half this was not really good enough! This cafe clearly doesn't take allergies seriously and puts customers at risk. Do not go here if you have an allergy; they don't care about your health.

the place is really very pretty and pleasant to cut away a little from the hubbub of the city the prices are a little higher than elsewhere but the quality of the food is worth it the butter chicken was incredibly creamy and full of flavor the juices are very good too you can change to gluten-free options without problem I liked the cookie a little less but it’s a question of taste :)

The food is delicious and full of flavor. I’m a pretty picky plant-based eater, and while there’s still some room to improve, I can definitely see them growing and getting better over time. Big downside: they don’t serve the amazing Dadar Gulung (those thin pandan pancakes) all day – such a pity, because they are insanely good! They’ve got a few gluten-free options too. The garden is clean and lovely, and the whole place has a really chill vibe.

AMAZING!! So great for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. We had a halloumi bowl, sweet potato wedges and chai lattes, everything was 10/10 delicious, service was lovely, setting is beautiful and shady out of the heat, and it was also reasonably priced. I highly recommend Shady Shack, it’s behind the main road but so worth going the extra few steps or jumping on a scooter to find 👏🏼 Thank you! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Perfect Restaurant in Gili Air! We've been in Gili Air for 4 days (8 meals) and this is by far the best (all is vegan) Cassava: perfectly fried and seasoned Dumplings: i can't believe were vegan Bao Buns: delicious Creamy noodles: very good Lot of options gluten free. Must visit!

!!!If you have an allergy do NOT come here!!! They claim to be accommodating to allergies (especially gluten allergies) however this was far from our experience. My wife ordered the gluten free toast and had made it very clear that she has specific allergies which they acknowledged and said it could be made safely. They brought the bread over and confirmed it was cassava flour, so she ate a couple of slices before the server came over in a panic saying it was normal sourdough! We asked them to clarify if it was definitely wrong and then a manager came over and said that it was actually the gluten free bread and they made a mistake. My food then came and the bread looked identical so we asked them to double check and this is when we found out that they had in fact given her the regular wheat sourdough. They were apologising profusely however this was too late, and instead of taking ownership across the board, they decided to blame a new waitress which was really bad form. If you have an allergy I would not trust this place to handle your food properly so definitely avoid.

Second time visiting. Highly recommend the Mediterranean nourish bowl (I ordered Egg + Avo on the side), it was absolutely beautiful, every single element was perfection. My husband ordered the breakfast criminal, and thoroughly enjoyed it- poached eggs were perfect. My Kombucha was great, and the oat iced latte was that good that my husband ordered two. Really quiet place to enjoy a feed, drink, or work. Relaxing tunes in the background was a nice touch. Lovely staff and great prices. - accepts card payments only - plenty of gluten free options
