Coeliacs avoid at all costs!!! I was made violently ill after eating here and being told that all the food I had was gluten free. I have had coeliac disease for almost 30 years and have the exact same reaction every time I eat gluten, and had this after eating at this cafe. I have now seen at least 3 other coeliacs leave the exact same review and the owner reply saying that the food was indeed gluten free and perhaps the guest had another allergy and reacted because of that and to get checked by a doctor. That is not the case and is just plain gaslighting and denial on the café's behalf. Clearly the restaurant does either not understand what it means to be gluten free or their communication both verbally and on the menu is incorrect and misguided. The staff were kind and the café was nice but it is unacceptable and dangerous to label something gluten free when it clearly is not. I hope the café looks into their gluten free food making process and improves on this in the future, but in the meantime, please avoid eating here if you have coeliac disease.

Amazing place, especially if you are gluten free. We came here for breakfast and I was able to have my first gluten free sourdough bread. It was the best bread I have had in 13 years of being allergic to gluten. The food was soooooo good, so healthy and super fresh that we came back for lunch on the same day 😁. The staff is very careful and welcoming. We had a really good time!

I was really excited to go to this cafe as it has been highly recommended but after showing one of the servers my gluten free celiac dining card in Indonesian they said that they don't have separate pans and prepare it all on a flat top grill so it isn't safe for people with celiac disease. I was so sad.

I organised for a gluten free chocolate cake to be delivered to my brother for his birthday. The service I received was fantastic, they were so easy to talk to and communicate with. My brother said it was the best cake he’s ever had and it looked amazing!!!

Nice experience overall, we went because my friend is gluten free/vegetarian and it had many options. Food was okay, not amazing in flavour but I wouldn’t say we were disappointed. The salad had way too much salad leaf and not enough of anything else. Also went back for coffees the next morning but only made with coconut milk and the frappes made us feel a bit sick as they were very creamy and a bit full on. Nice vibe though, pretty quiet as in not busy and friendly staff. You do have to sit upstairs and then walk back downstairs to order which was okay but could put some people off. Otherwise the service was good!

Biku is always a must-visit whenever in Bali. The atmosphere is warm and homey, with an authentic charm that makes every visit feel special. The food? Absolutely top-notch! A must try is nasi campur biku and one of the highlights is the variety of plant-based options—there are so many great choices, from creamy hummus and flavorful couscous to delicious gluten-free cakes. Looking for a gluten free place in Ubud, we found this place on Google. We were not disappointed. The food, staff and atmosphere were amazing. But the problem with the place is that the prices are very, very expensive, Asai Bull at 140 thousand, even compared to Tsango it is expensive...

the place is really very pretty and pleasant to cut away a little from the hubbub of the city the prices are a little higher than elsewhere but the quality of the food is worth it the butter chicken was incredibly creamy and full of flavor the juices are very good too you can change to gluten-free options without problem I liked the cookie a little less but it’s a question of taste :)

Went there to taste their burgers, very tasty and delicious, service was exceptional and the staff catered to my Wife’s gluten sensitivity. We ordered two burgers, one normal one and one gluten free bun burger. The burger was juicy, tasty and meat texture was perfect. P.s check out their bathrooms.

Second time visiting. Highly recommend the Mediterranean nourish bowl (I ordered Egg + Avo on the side), it was absolutely beautiful, every single element was perfection. My husband ordered the breakfast criminal, and thoroughly enjoyed it- poached eggs were perfect. My Kombucha was great, and the oat iced latte was that good that my husband ordered two. Really quiet place to enjoy a feed, drink, or work. Relaxing tunes in the background was a nice touch. Lovely staff and great prices. - accepts card payments only - plenty of gluten free options

When we got here there was a power cut so the place was hard to find behind some construction work. However, it was a signposted and cozy dark place we were led into. The power went on and all the guests were happy, there was a small collective feeling that spread among guests and staff and an even cozier restaurant appeared with nice lighting and plants all around. The drinks were good and so were the pizzas. The whiskey felt closer to 2 cl than the 5 presented in the menu and the pizza, which still belongs in Italy, was incredibly good here. The calzone had a little poor filling and the olive oil on the table is appreciated but was rather tasteless. The gluten-free pizza bread was well-made own dough and with a thin base.

Food was good, even though a mixup regarding gluten free 😔 which they acknowledged and gave a discount. Our opinion of this venue was it felt too busy to be welcoming, so many Bali restaurants and cafes feel like an authentic embrace when you arrive and during your stay. The staff here did their best but it just felt like they were understaffed for the volume of customers. Also if you want to be "seen" then enjoy, it maybe your scene. It wasn't ours.

Delicious summer rolls! Lots of GF options to choose from. They were unsure about celiac disease so I explained it’s a serious gluten allergy. They offered to pan fry the crispy tofu for the summer rolls, rather than deep fry it since that fryer is shared. Definitely understand allergies and the food was exactly what I wanted. Great spot to visit if you’re celiac in Bingin.

June 2024 (but see below for update) Our favourite local. Always welcoming. Super consistent. I’ve been going for years… breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner. With friends or alone or for a romantic dinner. May 2025 update: came for their great gluten free pizza and a decent glass of wine. No gluten free pizza and no more BYO. Only Plaga wine available which I’m not going to drink. So disappointing. We used to come here once a week for years. Nowwe will have to go elsewhere. It seems odd to have a cafe that’s open for dinner doing this.

10/10 experience. We were privileged enough to sit near a hand-pan session and truly take in the atmosphere that Mudra offers. Inclusive menu for gluten free, dairy free and veg/vegan folks. Food is phenomenal as well. We had two smoothie bowls, coffee, juice, and coffee mixed w taro/coconut whip. Delicious and light! They are also an eco-conscious and family establishment.

I love going to secret spot they make delicious yummy plant based fresh food. All the staff are absolutely beautiful Resma has served us every single day that we have visited and just a beautiful happy person my husband loves their coffee I love the breakfast burrito with guacamole and my kids love the gluten free berry pancakes. Such a beautiful hidden gem in Canggu! Amazing, genuine service and incredible food! We literally ate here most nights on our holiday because we couldn’t get enough. Pizza was a fan favourite and can confirm they serve the best gluten free pasta I have ever eaten. Would highly recommend!

Chef told us their bread is gluten free but when ordering I double checked with the waitress and she said it is not. Had I not thought to double check I could have easily ate something I am severely allergic to. The managers reaction was one of “it’s okay because he’s not the one taking the orders” which is absolutely reckless and an attitude that could kill someone with a severe allergy if they didn’t double check. Absolutely shocking and dangerous.

Lovely and good atmosphere with jazz on Wednesdays and a relaxed feeling every day of the week. Also super nice staff with great service there, unlike many other restaurants in Kuta where the service was almost only directed at men. Here you feel welcome as both a woman and a man. Nice with a rose for every meal and books that you can read to while away hot summer days with a good cup of coffee or something else is and drinkable. Great place! Lots of Gluten-free options.
