We were told to visit Old Europe Pastries because they have gluten-free options. Indeed, they do! The carrot cake is outstanding. We also got what I'll call a lemon bundt cake (which I can't remember the exact name, sorry), which was excellent. We'll definitely go back!
This casual spot is great for a tasty meal with fresh, local ingredients and a fun atmosphere perfect for work or friends.

I love this place. I've been here a few times and I like it more the more I visit.
The food options are numerous for me (Gluten allergy) and I'm all about organic foods. They are also very conscious of allergies and accommodate accordingly.
The staff is friendly and playful, too! They clearly care about the principles of this place.
And atmosphere is nothing special, but gets the job done. 5 stars for sustainability though, with their steel cutlery and plates.
Come check it out! Totally worth it.
A hidden gem offering outdoor seating and a diverse menu, known for its tasty pancakes and lobster Benedict, sure to impress.

I know it’s a chain, but this place is awesome. Great gluten free options too.
Only tip is to not try and show up last minute on the weekend. Use the wait list online.
Charming and cozy spot with great organic options, tasty desserts, and a lovely patio for relaxing amid the city’s recovery.

Our lunch was delicious! The restaurant and city are recovering from the hurricane, so the menu was limited, but very tasty! We had delicious salad, sweet potato fries, the soup of the day, and a BLT wrap with slaw. The salad and fries were our favorites. Great gluten free options, and a nice cafe location with patio. The staff did a great job despite the challenges they are facing. Thank you Green Sage!!! We appreciate your service and delicious food for those with allergies and dietary restrictions 😊

Love love LOVE Gemelli! They have SO MANY gluten free, vegan options!! Even GF chicken parmesan! Are you kidding me!??? Oh and my friend died and went to Canolli heaven! GET THE CANOLLI! This restaurant is hidden away in the West Asheville shopping plaza next to Earthfare (Westgate) so it's not right downtown (although it could hold its own downtown)
I highly recommend this chill airy laid back bright and shiny spot! It is the perfect place to bring visiting friends and family for brunch, late lunch whatever. Oh and they have a beautiful full bar!!
Known for its creative vegan donuts and unique yeast or cake styles, this spot offers a fun vibe and solid coffee to complement your sweet treats!

I’ve been coming here for the gluten free donuts for a few years. This morning I ordered a decaf coffee drink to go with them. I didn’t notice on the menu it said 4oz which was the size of a shot glass. That is my fault for not noticing it and it actually made me laugh when it came out. I was going to learn my lesson and drink this tiny drink. However, after trying it the decaf was burnt and gross. Instead of asking her to remake it, I asked for half a cup of steamed milk to combine it with to cancel out the burnt flavor and make it bigger. The barista was rude and told me she’d have to charge me for the milk, which I pushed back on. Eventually she gave me the milk but her anger while making it made me uncomfortable and upset. Most places would offer to make a new drink for you, not fight you over 1/2 cup of steamed milk. Normally, the staff here has been nice so maybe it was an off day but it makes me want to stick to just donuts next time.
A cozy spot with a great vibe, offering a diverse menu featuring fresh ingredients and plenty of vegan options, perfect for any meal.

Such an awesome place for breakfast or lunch! Great food, cute place, and friendly service. They have vegan and gluten free options and are able to answer questions about ingredients. I had the Running Man with gluten free wrap and an iced chai with almond milk - both were super yummy!

Excellent! This was my first visit to Tupelo Honey, but so many people have told me how delicious their food is - and boy were they right! They have a great selection of menu items with plenty of choices for people who are gluten free. They also have delicious mocktails and a substantial bar menu.
We went for brunch on New Year's Day, so it was probably more busy than it would typically be - but we only had to wait a short time before getting a table and enjoying our brunch.
A cozy spot with a laid-back vibe, perfect for a quick stop after exploring Asheville and offers a variety of unique and healthy options.

Best gluten free pancakes around. The burger is the healthiest burger you'll ever eat in the best way possible. Always love coming here whenever I come to town. The gluten free pastries and desserts are incredible.

I used to love going to Odd’s Cafe, and would recommend it to my friends all the time, but the last 3 times I’ve been, the espresso had a burnt taste and I had to throw out my drinks because they were undrinkable. The environment there used to be bright and friendly, but there’s now a pretentious air about the place and I don’t feel welcomed when I come in.
The gluten free treats are pretty good, so it’s worth it to stop in for a to go snack, just stay away from the coffee and espresso, and choose tea or a smoothie.

The gluten free cheesecake was amazing. My bf almost regretted getting the tiramisu but it was just as good to him. The drinks are great too, not too sweet but not bland. Staff was friendly and helped with recommendations too. The whole place is calm and lots of art and fixtures to admire. My favorite little cafe to come to when I visit from DC.

My hands down FAV place in Asheville for lunch. The Reuben in gluten free bread is FANTASTIC! With gluten restrictions in my diet, I was over the moon to find a place that offered this- only place I have EVER found a gluten free Reuben. The corner beef is lean, juicy, and DELISH! I always ask for extra pickles on the side, and they oblige with no problem. Fast, friendly, and fresh! Lots of great sides too, which change daily. I have never had ANYTHING from there that was bad. And, they are reasonably priced for AVL. They also offer half sandwiches too for a lighter appetite. Do yourself a favor and grab some lunch there next time you're in town!

I’m a local and Dobra is one of my top 5 places in all of Asheville! You can’t NOT come here when you visit Asheville. I particularly love the East location because of the cosy fireplace and warm light. Some of my personal favorite teas are the ones in my review (Hojicha black sesame latte, Rize Cay Turkish tea) as well as the Moonlight White, and Blue Magic (this is a MUST do — especially in the summer). There are so many great options but I would recommend going with 1 sweet option (front of menu) and 1 resteepable option from the reverse of the menu. All the pastries are gluten free! And are incredible. Can’t recommend Dobra enough.

Had the Harvest bowl with chicken and enjoyed it. It actually filled me up. One of my daughters had the honey Sriracha Burger thought it was a little spicy as a 13 year old I took a bite and I thought it was great. Wife had grilled chicken sandwich thought it was good. Another had the avocado sandwich but said it needed some protein in it. They did offer gluten-free bread for sandwiches!

Wow! The friendliest barista in town! Great suggestions and accurate flavor descriptions of menu items. I had the Gluten Free Almond Cake and the drip coffee of the day. They were quite busy but I felt the personal touch. I even found a sticker for my personal water bottle. I’m visiting the area and it was a win / win to support local.
A spot with fantastic coffee, but some say the drip coffee could use a little work.

The food was OK and gluten free bread was much-appreciated, but please fix your coffee. The drip coffee is watery and tastes horrible, but also the espresso-based coffees have a weird taste.

A major highlight of our long weekend in Asheville. As someone with multiple food allergies (soy, dairy, gluten, among others), I fully expected to sit back during the chocolate tasting without anything to try. I was so wrong! The staff accommodated me beautifully for the tasting and I was even able to pick up a few treats while in store! The tour was amazing and so fun for my kids. They were engaged and fascinated the entire time. Don't miss the factory tour. It's wonderful! Yes, the chocolate is expensive, but once you take the tour, you'll realize why. This is a far cry from Hershey's- you'll never look at chocolate the same! Thanks for being so accommodating and for cultivating such a welcoming atmosphere. We'll be back!

Was a great spot for a weekend breakfast to-go order. I didn’t see any gluten-free bread options, but I was able to customize a Scrambler Plate to my liking which was appreciated!
It came extremely hot & delicious. Next visit, I would choose the exact same breakfast.
It’s not very much room up front to wait for the order, but we tried to be out of the way of other dining & standing patrons the best we could.

The gluten free pumpkin chocolate chip muffin is INSANELY good and so is the gluten free banana bread. I also LOVED the lavender latte omg I love this place so good and not even expensive!! You can actually TASTE the lavender in the latte!!! HOW?! Idk.. maybe magic 0.0 but either way love this place!!
My boyfriend and I visited Asheville for a long weekend and Le Bon Café was on our list of must go places. We ended up going there twice because it was so good! I even bought a bag of coffee beans to bring home. I have a gluten sensitivity and they offer super delicious gluten free pastries too! Definitely recommend this cute little coffee place to anyone and everyone who visits the area!

Amazing lattes here. Every drink has been so good. I will say I wish they had more interesting sandwich combos. Like salmon, cream cheese, avocados, leafy greens, etc. Or more sweet options. Lol maybe one day I'll try the king sandwich even though I am slightly puzzled about the ingredients.
Service was friendly and quick. Wish there were some chairs at the tables for couples XD. Most importantly tho, the beignets ofc are delicous and I like that they have options for gluten free hash browns if a customer is inclined.
