I rated based solely on the food and its presentation because I ordered for delivery. The gluten-free Margherita pizza was delicious! The large came in 2 small boxes; so easy to dispose!

Not celiac safe at all. Came here because a friend told me the guy who works at the front has celiac and is very conscientious. Not my experience at all. Staff was curt and short. Sicker than I’ve been in a very long time. Really a shame because the food was delicious

Very delicious drinks, delicious bread too. Don't pigeonhole yourself with Starbucks! You are going to love this place!
The zuccini bread is very delicious, although it has gluten and is very sweet, but it is one of their specialties and it is good to try a piece.

During our recent visit to Pennsylvania, my partner and I had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic spot that truly exceeded expectations. For a very reasonable price of $59, we enjoyed a delicious spread, including tacos with a side of chili, two burgers with fries, tea, and two waters. One of the standout features was that everything on the menu could be made gluten-free, which was a huge plus for us. The buns on the burgers were especially delicious—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The atmosphere was just right—not too loud or crowded—creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The service was top-notch as well. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meal. A nice touch is the digital payment option on the receipt, where you can easily pay and leave a tip with a code.
Overall, the experience was fantastic, and we are definitely looking forward to coming back the next time we’re in the area. If you’re in PA and craving some great food in a comfortable setting, this place is highly recommended! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I say this was disappointment and want to preface I love the food here and always look forward to visiting, but the last 4 times I’ve visited I’ve had issues every time.
The last time I’ve visited, again a lot of things they didn’t have, but the thing I did order (the waffles) I never actually got. I waited over 30 minutes and was given no update. The person I was with got their food within 15 minutes. I was looked at now and then (avoided weirdly enough) as I waited but no one told me anything. I go up and ask if there is any rough idea when my food would be ready when I’m told the oven for the waffles wasn’t working. Again, had I been told from the beginning this wouldn’t have been as big of an issue. So I ended up just canceling the order because I didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes for my food.
The results of my past visits have me not wanting to visit for a while, unsure if or when I’d go back. :(
The first time they didn’t have the oat milk ice cream and other ingredients (multiple). No big deal, I just wish there was some note or posting somewhere to let me know ahead of time.
Every time over the last 4 visits they didn’t have any gluten free bread or gluten free bagels. Now as someone who is allergic to gluten, my options for food were cut to a very small selection. Again, please post it somewhere so I know to wait to come back until I can actually order the foods I have visited to get.

I’m not even vegan but my best friend is so we come here every time we are home from college. I’m gluten free and I love the tempeh scramble over home fries or tater tots. There is contamination in the fryer but they have other options for totally gf but it never bothers my stomach. My friend loves the French toast and chicken sandwich. Honestly I’ve never had anything bad here and the staff is super friendly and great.
With a fantastic array of sandwiches and an impressive brew selection, this spot promises fresh flavors and a cozy atmosphere for all.

I've been eating at Rybrew for the past several years - it is by far my favorite sandwich and bottle shop in Philly. A variety of vegetarian options, gluten free bread, and fresh soup every day which has never let me down. Their salads are a meal - even a traditional hoagie eater like me didn't mind eating my greens here! They have an excellent selection of beers/ciders for any palette, with rotating specials/deals/favorites to help guide you.
Their baked goods are great, too. That carrot cake cupcake is well worth the calories.

Surrounded by historic sites, attractions, and gardens, this cafe is the perfect spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. (By the way, you can get breakfast until 3:00 pm!!!)
The food is varied and tasty. You can get just a croissant and coffee or a full meal. Frieda offers everything from spectacular avocado toast with smoked salmon to omlets to quiche to sandwiches to salads and more. They also offer gluten-free bread. All the selections are terrific. While we ate at the cafe, we even got some goodies to go for later.
The interior space is bright and comfortable. There's a small shop carrying jams, assorted food items, and more. There are spaced tables for those wishing to eat indoors. For those preferring to eat outside, there are several sidewalk and street tables surrounded by nice plantings.
Frieda does not offer full table service. Instead, you go to the counter inside to place your order. When your food and beverages are ready, they bring it to your table. They also check back to make sure you have everything you need and to clear plates. (By the way, they use paper plates and wood utensils ... all compostible.) The service is friendly and helpful. The kitchen is surprisingly quick.
Parking can be tricky. While my wife and I walked there, a friend drove over. With no street parking available, she parked in the garage at 2nd & Sansom.
The prices are reasonable. Given the quantity and quality of the food, it's definitely a good value.

First time here with my husband for a coffee date and I am thrilled to see an antique building well preserved and put to good use. The coffee and tea is fabulous, and the staff is friendly and professional. I also appreciate how clean they keep the shop. I can’t wait to come back and get some gluten free food.

This has been a go-to spot recently. Easy take out but also nice to eat in. Great menu, everything I’ve had so far has been great. They also are really good with gluten-free, especially for my friend who has celiac disease and needs to take extra precautions.
I recently visited this breakfast spot with my partner, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. While the atmosphere was charming and relaxing, perfect for a leisurely morning, the food itself was disappointing. The dishes lacked flavor, and the hot chocolate we ordered was not only cold but tasted watery and overly milky.
We spent about $40 in total, which felt a bit much for the experience. Another important note: this place isn’t particularly celiac-friendly. They don’t take enough precautions with gluten-free requests, and since items are cooked and fried in shared equipment, there’s a risk of cross-contamination. The staff, though friendly and accountable, could still make mistakes with special dietary orders.
On the plus side, the service was good, and the staff made sure we felt welcome. Still, given the food quality and the gluten-free concerns, I’m unlikely to return for another breakfast here.
This place was disgusting. It smelled something terrible and the food didn't taste any better. I was so hopeful because I have Celiac's Disease. I heard the cook cursing up a storm because he had to make my food gluten free. The lights were basically off when we walked in and the chairs were up, very uninviting. I took 2 bites and didn't finish my food even though I wanted to because it was SO expensive.
A charming stop with a delightful variety, perfect for those looking to explore new flavors in a cozy atmosphere.

The best gluten-free bread I've ever had! The gf double-chocolate banana muffin was so sweet I couldn't finish it, but I just liked having the option. The workers are very friendly and allergen-aware. It's a tight space. For warmer weather, the outside seating must be nice, but if it's cold you might want to consider take out.

Delicious place for brunch!!! Numerous gluten free options! Stopped here on a quick trip to Philadelphia and was not disappointed.
I can’t remember the exact name of the dish, but it was amazing! I’m dreaming about this breakfast months later! The dish was a play on eggs Benedict and a breakfast hash. Everything was cooked well and seasoned just right!
The blend of French and Lebanese cuisine is a beautiful paring! The cafe is small, but cozy. Everyone eating there was enjoying their food and were repeat customers.
The service was friendly and timely. The server double checked about gluten-free items and I did not have any reactions.
Street parking, but such a lovely walk.

Really cute and tasty dessert. It felt so special getting each of these desserts served to us. So much thought and detail has been put into the presentation. The flavors are also the start of the show. This is not a case of style over substance. I would highly recommend going here for a night out or quality time with someone special. There are also great gluten free options. I had the teramisu which is gf and was delicious.

I don't often give a five star review but I MUST. If you want something delicious and you are vegan and gluten free as I am, you have to try the vegan tofu bowl. It is out of this world. Because it was crowded, my son and I ate at the bar and our service was excellent. Dakota made sure we were served quickly and he checked in as well as checking on all details relevant to my dietary restrictions. As for the atmosphere, as an artist myself, I love the murals on the wall and the splashes of color and style that are throughout the space.

What a great experience! We came for coffee and to sit for some breakfast and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very friendly, the gluten free muffin was very good, and the avocado toast was great as well. Our coffees were delicious and they had such a nice seating area. There was also so much to look at in their shopping area, beautiful locally made products and lots of plants as well. There was even outdoor seating, and a seating area upstairs with a play area! 10/10 would come again.

Ants Pants Café is a fantastic brunch and lunch destination! As someone with gluten-free and whole food plant-based (vegan) dietary guidelines, I was thrilled by how accommodating they were. The menu offered plenty of options that fit my needs, and they were more than happy to modify dishes to ensure everything was perfect.
I enjoyed a delicious tofu scramble that was both flavorful and satisfying. The service was excellent, with our server going out of his way to help me find a variety of meals I might enjoy. He made me feel truly valued and cared for.
Ants Pants Café is a gem for anyone with specific dietary preferences or restrictions. Highly recommend for a cozy and welcoming brunch or lunch spot!

Best. Bakery. Around! I have never been disappointed with Night Kitchen; I have been using them for my events for 15 years and I think they keep getting better. We were thrilled to have them make us a sweet, small cake for our wedding celebration and a year later provided us with a lovely mini cake for our anniversary celebration. My personal favorites are mocha with raspberry filling but their lemon and carrot cakes are also top contenders. In addition to our wedding cake they were also able to provide us with some gluten free options at our wedding, which were received by all.
A few times a year my husband and I treat ourselves to the sour cream coffee cake- 12/10 recommend!
The staff is lovely and always there to help. Always nice to be in a friendly environment!
Great for a drive through experience. Sadly, COVID has ruined my favorite sit-in coffee shop site. No eat in options (although you can totally eat outdoors they have tables outside). Its such a lovely shop i will miss visiting this location to sip tea and read a book. I hope restrictions lift soon
The food is good though! The people are great and super helpful. They have vegan and gluten free options.

Got coffee and the black bean burger with gluten free bread. I didn't get the orange-balsamic on the burger - but it was nice that they had a vegetarian/gf option. The burger kind of fell apart - but I wonder if that's partially because it was cut in half because of the gf bread. Wish the bread was toasted? But the avocado was perfectly ripe.
The sweet potato fries are cross contaminated in the fryer.
The drip coffee was awful - especially for nearly $4 a cup. Truly, get a latte. Nearly the same price - and I can only hope it is better. Or try the pour over? Or, I shouldn't have tried to order a coffee at 7 pm. But it tasted old and sad.
I will look forward to returning and enjoying the games :) staff was incredibly friendly and the aesthetic/atmosphere was great.

Gluten free options available just ask! I’m gluten free and vegan and this place was wonderful. It was like having a ‘50s burger fries and shake but I could eat it! The staff was courteous and understanding and took time to explain the different menu options and assure me that it would be safe for me to eat. My companion had no dietary restrictions but loved the shake and fries more than “traditional” ingredient places. Would recommend to anyone who wants a delicious hearty meal with only goodness for your body and the planet. Love the eco packaging commitment.
Love this place as it has a nice local, artist-y atmosphere, tasty food and nice staff. I especially like the upstairs “living room” area where you can chill and do some work or hang out while drinking your tea or coffee and eating your meal. They have Gluten Free and vegan options too which is a plus for those with dietary restrictions.
No special brews. Espressos though. Large selection of teas. Vegan and gluten free pastries. Smoothies, wraps, bagels, etc. Friendly folks and a cool atmosphere.
