Really good service but we didn't really enjoy the food. We ordered off the gluten free menu and pasta didn't taste that great. Ordered the lobster meal but pieces were very small. Substitutions were common because they didn't have what was offered. Overall we felt disappointed in the meals.

Everything is gluten free which was amazing, I didn't have to worry about only getting to choose from two items on the menu. The salsa options were a bit odd, there was a cheese/yogurt type dip among the four they give you and it just didn't fit with the Latino flavors well, it was more Mediterranean in taste. Definitely pricier for how much food you get but the chips are a free refill. When I asked about diet pop options I was told they didn't have any but they have what appeared to be a full bar with a fountain pop sprayer (which normally would have at least one diet option). The only thing I could have to drink was water there (I'm a type one diabetic and regular pop is a bad situation).

Outstanding Experience at Destination Grille! From start to finish, our visit to Destination Grille in Grimes was nothing short of amazing! The atmosphere is inviting and modern, perfect for a night out or a casual dinner. What truly made our experience exceptional was the service—Andrea was incredible! She was warm, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. As someone who is gluten-free, dining out can sometimes be a challenge, but Andrea went above and beyond to ensure I felt completely comfortable and taken care of. The gluten-free menu options here are fantastic—plentiful, clearly marked, and absolutely delicious. It’s refreshing to find a place that offers variety and flavor without compromise. Highly recommend Destination Grille for anyone looking for excellent food and even better service. Ask for Andrea—you’ll be glad you did!

Beautiful restaurant, efficient and friendly server. It was fantastic that their gluten-free menu offered a wide variety of options. Excellent Chocolate Martini and the Creme Brule was perfect. We will definitely be back.

My experience was great especially as someone that has celiacs and gets sick easily with cross contamination. They have a designated gluten free menu with so many options which I feel like is so hard to come by. Their staff was also on top of it. They make sure that they mark it as an allergy when putting through the order and then shortly after I ordered a manager came to our table to make sure that she had correct everything that I specifically ordered to ensure that they were extra careful handling my food. And while I never expect restaurants to be able to really accommodate me because it is difficult when they handle so many different gluten products It felt so nice to feel “normal” getting to eat out and feeling safe doing so. I truly can not say enough good things about my experience and the staff and give a huge kudos as I know they are like this with others who may have other sensitivities or allergies. Absolutely will make the two hour drive back to eat here again.

Nice little upscale eatery. The food was good, and the service was fantastic. Prompt attention was paid to everyone in our party, and the atmosphere was fabulous. The Mediterranean quinoa salad was really good, and the pommes frites were perfectly cooked. I tried the Orange Chicken, and the Rocket Shrimp appetizer, which were both good. I tried the Spring Fling cocktail, which was served in a champagne glass and was both pretty and delicious at the same time. Our server was somehow both inconspicuous and still always attentive. She had an excellent knowledge of the gluten free options for one of our party, which was much appreciated. The prices are not even close to average, but I liked everything I had and would definitely go back again.

Ordered DoorDash , got my food , ate it and not even thirty minutes later I started to get sick, I have celiacs and ordered gluten free but it wasn’t gluten free, well I still got sick and now I’m dealing with vommitt , and passing blood in my stools. Please do a better job at using you’re dedicated areas to make pizza, never had any issues here until now.

I was really excited to go here and get gf crepes. The reviews made it seem super safe. We walked in a the staff was not friendly whatsoever, the girl practically threw the cups and water at our table. I was watching them cook the crepes and they cleaned everything with what looked like chemical cleaning spray. I was also nervous because I could only see the one container of nutella that they were using for all of the non-gf crepes and was questioning if they would open a new container. They didn’t, I watched them use the exact same knife and container for my crepe. Overall disappointed.

I cannot say enough great things about Sweet Treat without Wheat! I had the pleasure of trying their cinnamon sugar donuts, and they were absolutely delicious—soft, flavorful, and perfectly sweet without being too heavy. You’d never guess they’re gluten-free! What made the experience even more special was the incredible generosity of the owner. Despite the bakery being located in Iowa, she went above and beyond to get the donuts to me all the way in Aruba. If you’re looking for amazing gluten-free treats made with love, this is the place to go. I can’t wait to try more of their baked goods!

We had such a great experience! My friend & her daughter came from out of state to visit for my birthday. They are both allergic to wheat and her daughter has a total of 10 food allergies, one of them anaphylactic. They were more than accommodating. They checked and double checked ingredients and the chef/owner literally made her some specific au jus that she could eat. He made the French fries to order without the spices that she’s allergic too. He even brought out some extra fries for her to take home! Our appetizer- “hush money spuds” were so good we had them gobbled up in minutes! Highly recommend even if you are not gluten free! Everything was so delicious! Mac and cheese was like nothing I’ve ever eaten before. Totally worth the drive and even though I am not gluten free, I will definitely be back for their amazing food and service!! They also have gender neutral private bathrooms.

Food was great. Best latte of my life. I will say the service was subpar, not super friendly. Completely, gluten free! They also didn’t have straws for their in house drinks which I thought was odd. Would have loved even a metal or glass straw. But overall, a great atmosphere and wonderful product. The banana bread wasn’t too sweet (which is good) and the smoothie bowl was fantastic.

My family and I came to eat here on 6/20 because of the dairy free and gluten free options, necessary accommodations for some of our family members. The vibe was alright; we called ahead and were seated promptly. The outdoor play area was a neat touch. The server was friendly but did forget to place the order for my 2 year old, which was frustrating. It was highly concerning that our food came out so quickly. My husband and I ordered the Fried Bologna Sandwich; it was greasy and gross and I could not eat it. My brother-in-law got The Dunbar, which also had bologna on it. The 3 of us who had some of the bologna ended up with food poisoning. I attempted to notify the restaurant via Facebook messenger and the 3 attempts “couldn’t send”. I sent them a message through their website, and also contacted the health department. Not a good experience and won’t be back. Update: they did reply back to my message through their website and refunded us, so I appreciated the customer service aspect to help remedy the situation.

The food was great and they have good gluten free options. The waiter was just ok but the hostess (I believe her name was Rachel) was great. The kind of person that keeps you going back. Not a huge fan of the all open floor plan restaurants but the food was good enough it's not a deal breaker. Would definitely go back when we're in the area again.

I’ve never been to the actual bakery, but I have gotten these products from the Hyvee health market freezer section and I have to say after having the chocolate chip cookie bars and the cinnamon rolls they are both my absolute favorite desert ever; they are so moist and delicious! I have had other products as well and they are all so amazing! I hope whoever this baker is never stops! If I was magically cured of celiac and able to eat whatever I wanted I would still prefer these gluten free baked goods from here!

We were very saddened and disheartened to find that this restaurant no longer offers a gluten-free menu or are gluten-free fryer. If you are like us and came here regularly for gluten safe tasty food, they no longer have the menu or gluten-free frier.fries. very disappointed.

Love this place! Every time I get back to Hampton, it's always nice to know that there is a place u can eat that is gluten-free! It's tough to come by in smaller towns but this place does it right! I ordered a protein bowl and they give you a good amount of the meat and you can't go wrong with the sauces. It all tastes VERY good and I have never had stomach issues here. Overall, the service is quick, the atmosphere is unique and comfortable, and the food is the best part!

HELLO to all my gluten-free Celiac friends, today my husband and I went to St. Burch tavern, we asked them if they have a gluten-free menu and they gave me a separate menu.. what I loved about this place is that they were so specific in their menu about the fries and anything fried because they fry them in a shared fryer. I ordered the main lobster sandwich with a gluten-free bun. Everything was delicious They gave me the salad as my side. Our server was Anthony and he was so knowledgeable about cross-contamination and changing gloves and stuff. So thank you! Anthony . The place was so clean. The service was amazing and the ambiance was very nice. I have no reaction whatsoever. The food was delicious. So clean. I highly recommend it. If you're in the Iowa area. Definitely try them out. :)

I stopped here on my drive home from the West Coast to Illinois. I was looking for the perfect "something" for my gluten free/ dairy free daughter. This little shop hit the spot perfectly. I got there mid afternoon and there wasn't a lot to choose from, but I was able to buy her a few different things to try. Meg, who waited on me was friendly and very helpful. We chatted for a while and then I headed home. My daughter loved all the baked goods and was thrilled that I was able to find a place where I could bring her some goodies. Thanks Meg....wish your store was 200 miles closer.
