I used to love Billie’s back when I was only trying to avoid gluten, their desserts and baked goods are pretty good for being gluten free (even tho a bit spendy) but since being dairy free (due to allergies) Woah #GROSS!! If you are only trying to avoid gluten then the sweets aren’t too bad (but use caution as they still use powdered sugar, cream cheese, and a lot of fatty high calorie ingredients so not good if you’re trying to be health conscious) but if you have to be plant based their options are limited and seriously so disgusting I still can’t get the taste out of my mouth. Just because it is dairy free doesn’t mean it can’t be sweet and taste good, trust me, I’ve had many dairy free/vegan desserts that are SO good I had to call the place and double check because I couldn’t believe it. I ordered the plant based cookie dough bar, snickers bar and chocolate chip cookie. Both bars were dull In flavor, not sweet at all, and TOO many nuts like wow take it easy on the nuts and dates. The cookie was dry and chalky almost choked on it. I’m disappointed because options for dairy free are always limited and Billie’s has so much potential, your entire target market/demographic is very fond of eating with food allergies obviously or we’d be going to a million different places #crumbl!! But save your money and your appetite and DO NOT buy their plant based items!!!! Just make your own at home and they’ll be a million times better I guarantee it.

My friend and I loved this place. I got a cookie and she got the cinnamon roll! You would never know it is gluten free strictly with a taste test. Staff are so nice and accommodating as well! I am recently gluten free and it is so nice to be able to be able to go somewhere where I could eat everything! I was feeling so discouraged being gluten free.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Their burgers are really tasty and so are their salads. You have to get the fries and try some of their sauces - so good! They have a very wide assortment of beers as well as a cocktail and non alcoholic menu. Beer Kitchen does a nice job of catering to gluten free diners. They have a whole gluten free food and beer/cider menu!

Amazing food, neat decor, great staff, & is a very clean establishment. This is a must stop for people with Celiac &/or require a gluten free diet. GF options were plentiful and clearly labeled on the main menu in green. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable about Celiac & said many come in regularly. They modified their 'Shame Bowl' to be GF subbing the gravy for cheese. (Basically a better version of the KFC bowl.) I absolutely loved that all the decor was of local people, people that worked there, etc. It has a cozy, southern feel with so much to look at!

We have visited many times over the years but wanted to share high praise for a recent experience. We brought visitors from out of town to dine at the Ellisville location because two members of our party of eight have Celiac Disease (total gluten intolerance). The Gluten Free menu was a big draw and did not disappoint. All the GF food was clearly marked when it came to the table. The GF diners loved the food and had no issues after dining here. Our server was attentive and even graciously assisted when a child spilled his milk. Our guests can't wait to come back and dine here again.

My husband and I are club members (for about 6 months) and have dined here once prior today. Both experiences were great, but today was exceptional!! Our waitress, Jaden Rain, was very helpful and just the right amount of attentive. She gave helpful insight to the menu and even offered me gluten free bread before the meal (I had no clue that was even an option). Our meals were delivered quickly, were generous portions, reasonably priced, and were incredibly delicious. I was blown away by the gluten free pre-meal bread. It was warm, soft, sweet, and so tasty. The other two non-GF people eating with me agreed that it was very tasty. The GF menu was extensive, including 5 dessert options. Additionally, we feel like the wine club membership is really worth all the perks that come with it, even coming from people who don't maximize the benefits each month. Will absolutely be back and we are grateful for the amazing service we received from Jaden today! And 10/10 for gluten friendly options! (Photos include my gluten free meal - pre-meal GF bread and GF Thai wraps (after I'd devoured them, haha!))

My all time favorite Indian food restaurant. Love their lunch buffet! Love their garlic naan, chai tea and mango lassi. Very easy to eat gluten free there, if needed. Every item we've tried on the menu is flavorful and rich and comforting. It's 45 minutes away from where we live but if we're going out for Indian food we always head to Seva!

The food here was excellent! All members of our party enjoyed ourselves. The food was fresh, hot, and packed full of flavor! I really enjoyed their commitment to serving those with gluten allergies. The ciders were delicious and the fact that they showed the sugar content in each made it easy to pick what you desired most. The atmosphere was beautiful. Since it was a nice day in June, the bat door was open and there was a nice breeze. The only complaint were the drivers revving their engines loudly while driving by Service was also exceptional. Our server was attentive and regularly checked to ensure we had what we wanted or needed. I absolutely recommend Brick River Cider!

I enjoy this restaurant every time I visit KC. The decor is inviting, cheerful and natural. The restaurant is very clean and crisp. I especially appreciate the many live plants. The staff is friendly, professional, and caring. They pay special attention to allergies and take them seriously. I ordered takeout tonight and Grace was very attentive to my meal as it was being made. As a note, they have gluten free buns, but they do contain milk (the staff did a great job of telling me). I made the choice to try the buns and can attest that there is a significant enough amount of diary to cause a reaction. They have plenty of options if you have food allergies. Also, they use avocado oil and olive oil to cook.

Stopped here on cross country road trip to experience true Kansas City BBQ. Ordered The Taste of Kansas City platter to share. We subbed the 1/2 chicken with a chicken breast because 2 of us are gluten free and their half chicken is NOT gluten free. Fries are not GF and our waiter said none of the chicken is GF including the wings. I asked if the wings can come plain and he said no. The coleslaw is amazing and our favorite. Well chopped, not sour/bitter. More like sweet with celery seed. Family liked the brisket the best. Honey glazed Baby Back Ribs and pulled pork were good. Slightly dry. Had beans and coleslaw sides. The beans were good too. Two of our family is no gluten free. One had kids chicken fingers and fries - all good. They share onion rings. Are 4 between the two of them. They were high quality, thick cut and enjoyed An overall good stop.

I love this place. The bread is just.... 🤤. They make it fresh in house along with all their sauces. I havent had anything here I didnt like. There is a nice selection of gluten free options as well. Portions are very worth the $. Some personal favorites are the brocolli chicken Alfredo, chicken parm (it is a BIG portion so be prepared), and the pizzas. My mother LOVES the fried ravioli and my husband likes any of the seafood he's tried. Please understand this is a family run business. The service is hit or miss, but the food is worth it. There is almost always a wait, but there are shops and a little wine tasting place near by. Buckner is a very small but charming little town. The patio is lovely when the weather is nice.

I love when I move to a new area, and I find GREAT gluten free food. But to find the best gluten free doughnuts I’ve ever had?? Wow! I came into Parlor Doughnuts to try their gluten free vegan flavors, but they also have amazing coffee, breakfast items, and staff! I first tried their avocado toast (as I can still eat sourdough as gluten free sensitive gal), and I really appreciated the hint of lime and touch of tajin. The egg was a perfect addition. I also got a cortado with almond milk, and it was the best coffee I’ve had in Branson so far! Onto the doughnuts… I tried the summer special blueberry lemon, French toast (crowd fav), and chocolate chocolate. The texture was so good! It tasted like real cake and they melted in my mouth. We had one of the best waitress were probably ever had! At first, my food was not prepared the best ( they were busy) BUT. It was fixed quickly, without fuss and was delicious. I actually just sat and didn't say anything. She noticed and just took action. The gluten free pancakes are fantastic and you can get different kinds, not just one note. OJ is made fresh in the restaurant. Tip: Expect to wait a bit. A large party, call ahead.

We tried Favazza’s around 1:30 p.m., so it wasn’t busy at all. Overall, it was just okay—an expensive, average experience. We started with the toasted ravioli, which was actually pretty good, nice, and crispy with a flavorful filling. For entrées, we had the manicotti, the pasta con broccoli with pink sauce, and the gluten-free shrimp with pasta, plus a dinner salad. Everything tasted fine, but nothing really stood out as exceptional, especially for the price. We sat on the patio, which was unfortunately extremely loud—even with few people around, the noise echoed and made conversation difficult. Service was a real disappointment. Our waitress was not attentive and kept disappearing for long stretches, leaving us waiting for refills and check-ins. In the end, it felt like we paid more than the quality and experience justified.

Started coming here because it is a spitting image of another pizza company where I went to college. Who doesn't love an unlimited topping pizza for a decent price? Employees have always done a great job, they're always very friendly here. One time I came in a few min early for an online order, and they were pulling mine out but it had a big hole! They remade it ASAP, and were super apologetic about the wait. They were slammed that night too. The only downside is they don't have options for those with gluten intolerance (salad will be cross contaminated).

Inspiration For The Modern Age

This is our absolute favorite donut shop. We had a lot of fun trying to choose our favorites amongst the wide selection of pastries. (They even have gluten-free options) The staff here at this Branson location were wonderful, light-hearted, and entertaining. We look forward to our next visit to Branson's Hurts Donut Company!

We pulled in here after a day at SDC. We came because my sister found them highly rated on a gluten-free site. Portions are super generous and sooo delish!!! We had pulled pork, ribs, corn casserole, potato salad & mac & cheese. Every single item was fantastic!! The owner was taking orders and delivered food to our table. I had always wanted to try this place. I was beyond disappointed. The sushi had brown rice which I don’t like. I saw other people’s food and they had white so it would have been nice to know I had a choice since ALL rice is gluten free. I asked for gluten-free soy sauce and was assured it was but then had a reaction later so it obviously wasn’t. None of the workers were friendly nor welcoming. What truly turned my stomach was watching workers fill water glasses by literally pressing the water pitcher down on each glass where people drink thus spreading germs. I appreciate music and a good vibe but it was obnoxiously loud. Super HARD pass.
