Such an amazing place!!! My daughter has coeliac disease and hasn’t been able to eat out at Italian restaurants since she was diagnosed (we live in Brissy and haven’t found any coeliac GF restaurants) so when we found 317 while visiting Sydney we had to give it a try!! And we were definitely not disappointed!!! The GF pasta was AMAZING but so was all of the other GF menu items we ordered (salad, skewers, halloumi entree…..we even ordered a takeaway pizza for later 😂). It is such a delight to see accredited gluten free restaurants and it makes dining out so enjoyable!! The service was also second to none, so we will definitely be recommending 317 to all our friends who are visiting Sydney and we will certainly be dining here again on our next visit!!!! Thank you for being Amazing 🤩

5 stars across the board - would give it 6 if I could. We were looking for a coeliac friendly restaurant and Meantime was perfect as it was 100% Gluten Free! Worked for our dietary restrictions and the food was delicious! The coeliac in our group literally commented that she felt “seen” and it was wonderful that we could all share food without worrying about cross-contamination. We learnt from the Manager that the owner is coeliac herself and that just boosted our confidence. Great staff, a coeliac safe environment and delicious food! Will definitely be going back again… and again!

Incredible food! The whole menu being gluten free made it such a stress free experience and every dish way over delivered. Great little vibe - cozy, intimate and funky. The service was polished yet unpretentious, friendly yet unobtrusive. 10/10 - have recommended.

My partner and I recently visited the establishment for a romantic dinner. The cocktails and entrées were absolutely delicious, and the staff were warm, welcoming and very attentive . We don’t usually leave reviews, but we felt it was important to share some feedback in the hope that it leads to improvement. Unfortunately, our main meals really let the evening down. My partner ordered the $28 smash burger, which arrived cold with a patty that was burnt, dry, and completely lacking flavour — aside from the overpowering charred taste. The chips were also cold and unsalted. Sadly, it was the worst burger either of us has ever had, and we weren’t able to finish the meal. We understand gluten-free meals often come at a premium, but the quality didn’t reflect the price point. We also waited over 45 minutes for our food, despite the venue only having a few tables seated at the time. My schnitzel was underwhelming — a very small portion, less than a quarter of a chicken breast, served cold and completely unseasoned. We were really hoping for a memorable dinner, and the evening had such a promising start. We’re sharing this feedback in the hope that it’s taken constructively and that the consistency and quality of the main dishes is reviewed.

The food was genuinely delicious - full of flavour and really comforting. We had the lasagne, which was rich and hearty, and I had a gluten-free pizza that was surprisingly good!! Service was excellent. Big thanks to Alexandro for taking such good care of us - friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We also got coffees which were strong and authentic - we really enjoyed our time here 😌 The only small downside was the music being a bit loud for me, but just personal preference; everyone else seemed fine with it.

I came here with some friends, being gf and vegan it's hard to go out with a group of friends who don't have dietary requirements and this place was just perfect! Incredibly accomodating and knowledgeable about gluten free/coeliacs and what is suitable on their menu. Even come by with a card for you to have near your place setting with “coeliac” written so no servers mistake your order.

No Bones is a beautiful outdoors, covered restaurant. The dining experience is fantastic with friendly staff, fantastic cocktails and delicious food. The menu is creative with bright flavours. They were super accommodating to my dietary requirements, catering for Coeliacs and even had a gluten free fryer. We left perfectly satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Gluten free options!! Dedicated gf fryer for a few options like chips (which were perfect) and others like calamari etc. There are gf burger options too, I went with the soft sheel crab burger. Buttermilk crab fried whole on a gf bun with salad and thousand island. Really tasty, not too salty, perfect mix of meaty and crunch. Thanks guys for doing gluten free options and being coeliac friendly and aware.

Great portion sizes. Fresh fish and calamari. Gluten free options (grilled fish, and chips are gf too). They were very busy (waited 30mins for our order) but the staff were transparent about it when ordering and super friendly.

High quality, elevated but still traditional southern Chinese taste. Steamed beef rolls were silky and flavoursome, with a nice hint of coriander. The beef tendons were soft and delicious. The dumplings were all gluten free and perfectly steamed. Crispy skin chicken was deboned which was a pleasant surprise. The soft shell crab (also gluten free) was crispy and I could tell the oil was very fresh. This was honestly the best soft shell crab I have had. All in all, a succulent Chinese meal indeed.

We had a really nice meal here . The brisket was really good and was also gluten free. So that was good .The service was good and the decor in the room was very good too .A good selection of music was playing when we were there .It looks like they have live music there too .Well worth a look .

Fantastic option for anyone looking for Gluten Free options. With a coeliac in the family, we struggle to find somewhere decent to eat to accommodate both adult and kids taste. Staff were knowledgeable of GF requirements and they confirmed they have a separate fryer for GF food. Great location on the waterfront, service was lovely and the food was fantastic. My Cluck Norris burger was the best chicken burger I've had in a long time. My husband said the GF chicken schnitzel was great, and my son loved the Risk it for the Brisket burger too. My daughter polished off her kids meal in seconds, and said the fish batter was nice and crispy. Highly recommend and it will be our go to when down by the waterfront.

Delicious burgers and chips that are safe for Coeliacs. Their chips are cooked in their own separate fryer so no cross contamination. My kid loves playing on the old school video game console while waiting for our food. Staff are always friendly.

Food and service are really lovely. They did an excellent job catering for a celiac diner with a dedicated fully gluten free menu and well trained staff. The only notable downers were the oysters, which for $6 were the smallest Sydney oysters I've ever seen and would normally be served at a bar for a buck.

Absolutely loved our dinner at the Avalon, the food was divine, the lamb my mother in law and I had was so tender and my father in law loved his salmon and my husband the chicken. Service was also great, they looked after us very well, making sure my GF food was coeliac safe. My in-laws loved the quirkiness of the decor and it was very warm and cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening thank you.

An otherwise nice experience ruined by one very rude staff member. The food was alright, nothing we’d rave about. A few points on the lower rating: - We had initially booked for 22-23 people and had 3 extra show up last minute that were missed in our final headcount, we understand this could be inconvenient but we did have the space on the table allocated to fit them. Unfortunately, the waitress was quite snappy when she asked “Is there more people coming?! There’s no more space nor extra tables for anyone” before storming off. This was an initial experience that made us feel awkward. We understand the inconvenience but we also accept that if the extra attendees could no fit a reasonable solution would’ve been to explain that we only booked for 23 and that they should leave. - The behaviour continued on from here: my colleague let her know she was the one who had ordered the gluten free taco and she snapped back at her in such a way that a quarter of the table pulled faces in shock. - When we asked them for the cake. It was brought out unprepared in a box. Perhaps an over sight if they were busy but really unusual. But as it was this waitress that brought it out in a box and another server who offered to then take it back and serve it on a plate one can never be too sure. - The music was loud. Like, SUPER loud. Which makes it understandable when the staff speak louder. But the waitress in question was super loud and at times to the point of yelling when snapping at us and pulling faces like she was very unhappy to be there or serving us. The other two servers were very lovely. So we’ve bumped the star rating up for them. - Lastly, we also had issues when we were asked to leave. We were well aware we had a timed booking and honestly they did well to stick to time, it didn’t feel like we were being asked to leave too quickly after we finished eating but again the rude waitress was very short with us whereas the other waitress was more apologetic and said times up just letting you know you need to leave. - Overall it was a profound experience. Sadly the food wasn’t redeeming enough to make it enjoyable. Some suggestions if I may: If your staff are having a bad time, assign them to a different table. Everyone’s going to be happier in the long run. Turn the music down slightly. Music definitely brings vibes but if you’re all yelling at each other or having to ask people to repeat things enough times until you default to smiling and nodding - it’s definitely too loud. If people have timed bookings, it is completely reasonable to say something like “just letting you all know you have 15 minutes left on your booking, we are a bit busy tonight so we’d really appreciate that you leave on time so we can prepare for the rest of our night” and to give timed reminders after that point. Again if people aren’t moving at that time (happens so often with larger groups, trust me we know it) just again be firm but not rude with “sorry times up! We hope you had a good night but we will need to start preparing the table for our next guests” To the waitress directly: It’s best not to assume everyone is stupid and against you on a bad day. Some of us have also done our hard yards is hospitality too and know how it gets serving large tables. You’ll find that most people are sympathetic if you’re feeling a bit off but you’re in a customer facing role, please learn to take breaks if you need them.

Service was fantastic. Food was fantastic. My only slight issue is when ordering set menu if gluten free there’s a lot of veggie dishes, I love vegetarian food but would still have liked some more meat options.

Staff were great & helpful the only issue was there wasn’t a meal for Vegan & Gluten free. The kitchen did try to find something but choice was very limited. I would like to suggest there is at least one option for this dietary requirement.

While the food and service was pretty good, the pricing definitely does not match the portion sizes! My partner and I dined here for dinner, spending hundreds on food, and we ended up having to get takeaway food elsewhere because we were still hungry. Not a huge deal, but we also ordered the ceviche specifically specifying that it be WITHOUT crispy shallots due to coeliac disease and not being able to have gluten. We were assured this was okay, however, the food came with the crispy shallots anyway.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed dining at the Mez Club. They do a contemporary take on Moroccan food. Excellent food and very creative cocktails! Many of the dishes are vegetarian and/or gluten free. The crème brûlée is a must try! Staff are lovely.

Quite delicious. If you get the set menu, portions seem a bit small at first but by the end, you’re stuffed. Nothing super ground breaking, just modern Middle Eastern fusion done well and presented beautifully. Sat outside and the bar table is a bit unstable, plus the ground is sloped. A bit awkward to deal with but not terrible. Plenty of gluten free options and well communicated. Nothing that stood out as a must have again but still a solid choice for an upmarket meal out.
